May Favourites ♥

Hey girlie's!! As the month of May is drawing to a close i thought i would share with you all my favourite beauty products I've been loving throughout this past month.....
Sleek Face Form Palette in Light

I adore this, I've been using it every single day as it just has everything i need for face makeup in one little palette. The contour is great for adding shape to my face and also adding a little colour to my face too without looking like a shimmering disco ball. The highlighter is the best I've ever used, it doesn't just sit on the face it blends seamlessly to create a natural looking highlight and the blusher is a coral colour with rose gold shimmer particle's throughout it which is perfect for right now as we are in spring/summer. For a full review on this Contour Kit click here.

Urban Decay NAKED Basics Palette

Since buying this at the end of April I've been addicted to it and haven't used any other eye shadows since. Its just the perfect all rounder, it can take you from a nice natural day makeup look too a more smokey evening makeup look all in 1 little palette of six shades, there's not a single eyeshadow in this palette that i don't like or use either. It's a great makeup bag or handbag sized palette too and the lasting power and pigmentation is fabulous. For a full review of this palette click here.

Revlon's Nail Polish in Tropical Temptation

Tropical Temptation has been my go to nail polish since April, its a gorgeous peachy coral colour that's fantastic for this time of year. Its looks great on fingers and toes and i can see this colour looking gorgeous whilst on holiday and with a tan.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

I have been using these everyday for years, they are the only facial cleansing wipes that don't irritate my eyes whilst removing my eye makeup and are so gentle on my sensitive skin. They have no alcohol or perfume in their range and are also Dermatologically tested and approved. I use these wipes in conjunction with my Simple Cleanser at the moment to remove every trace of makeup.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Shower Gel

I'm a huge fan of Soap & Glory products and their Clean On Me shower gel doesn't disappoint either. I use 1 pump of this on my loofah in the shower and it lather's up so much that the 1 pump is enough for your whole body. It smells so sweet and zesty and has the added bonus of a built in body lotion so it leaves your skin clean, smelling fresh and moisturised. Also its been fine on my sensitive skin where as lots of other shower gels i get a reaction from so its win win for me.

What's been your favourite beauty product this month?? I'd love to know :)

MUA Power Pout Review

MUA Power Pouts are 'colour intense tint and balm's'. When i first saw them i couldn't believe how similar they looked to the Clinque Chubby Sticks and Revlon's Kissable Balm Stains, so that was me sold and i had to get myself a couple a try.

When i first applied these Power Pout's the first thing i noticed was the fact these are super moisturising, like the name states it definitely felt like i had a lip 'balm' on. Next i was amazed at the 'tint' aspect, once the balm had worn off i was left with a stain on my lips more than an actual tint and it lasted for hours, even with me drinking and eating. I love the fact its long lasting as I'm super lazy at reapplying lip products so this kind of product id definitely up my street.

The pigmentation of these is great considering these are balm based lip product's not to mention that these where only £3 each, yup that's right £3. I do love a good bargain.

The two i picked up are.....

Justify
A gorgeous Coral colour, perfect for spring/summer.

Irreplaceable
A deep girly pink/purple.

The colour's of the Power Pouts do look quite bright and strong from the stick but once applied they don't look to overwhelming and just give u that soft tint/stain to the lips. There   also is a slight minty fragrance to them but nothing to strong or noticeable once on the lips, so if your not to keen on mint don't be too alarmed.

On a whole I'm really enjoying using these, i have to say the shade Justify is my favourite as i find it really easy to wear and the colour is great for a day to day look.

Have you tried these yet?? What did you think??

Hey girlie's!!! I hope you've all had a fabulous week!!!  This week for me has been busy, busy, busy at work, that's why I've been abit quiet on the twitter and blogging front. Besides working I've done abit more baking this week when I've had the time, I'm seriously going to have to slow down on the baking front soon as my waistline is gonna hate me ha ha. My day off this week was Saturday which was fab as that meant i got to spend the day with Michael, he only gets weekends off you see. We decided to go to a town called Bury St Edmund's its about 20-30 minutes away from our town but a million times better, we had a lovely day and it has definitely been a great end to my week. Anywhoo here's my week in pictures ♥

Happy 2nd Birthday Glossybox!

I was super excited to receive my Glossybox this month knowing that it was the 2nd birthday box i was expected a nice treat and it certainly didn't disappoint!! The content's of my birthday box has 3 full size products inside, yes that right, 3. So thank you Glossybox its certainly a fabulous birthday treat for us!!

So here's what i got in my box!!!

♥ La Roche-Posey Anthelois XL SPF 50 Dry Touch Gel Cream rrp £16.50 - I was super excited to see this in my box as firstly its full size and secondly I've been dying to try some La Roche-Posey products for so long but as they are on the expensive side I've never caved in. This will certainly be great for summer and great for me to just try La Roche-Posey in general, i cant wait to use this when we get some hot hot weather.

Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara rrp £15 - I was extremely happy to see this is my box as not only do i love the Jelly Pong Pong range but its another full size product, yippee. I  fell in love with the Lip Blush by Jelly Pong Pong that we got in the March box so I'm thinking this is gonna be just as fabulous too. It says its lengthening, volumising and non clumpy, every thing u want in a mascara right?

Headline Colors Nail Polish in Twisted Silk rrp £9 - This is just so girly and gorgeous, its a thick matte dusky pastel pink which is perfect for the spring time. It's amazing quality and full size too.

Beautiful Movements Prime & Create Mixing Medium rrp £20 - When i saw this in my box i was like ' what on earth '???? After some reading i learnt that this is in fact a Primer that can  also be used as a mixing medium to turn powder make up into cream based make up. I have used this so far to turn a broken powder blush into a cream blush and i have to say its fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing how this works as a primer and what other powder to cream products i can make.

Stone Beauty Body Lotion in Pomegranate Noir rrp £10 - This is the one thing in the box that I'm not too keen on as i hate the smell unfortunately. I did try a small amount on my arm and the formula is nice and it just melts into the skin quickly making u feel nicely moisturised and it never irritated my sensitive skin either but i just wish it smelt nice. I do however think its great that the Stone Beauty range isn't tested on animal's and contains no preservatives, parabens or sulphates.

Lastly is the Glossybox added extra which is some cute little nail files, perfect for on the go use and to keep in your handbag.

I hope you enjoying seeing what goodies i got this month, i have to say i think its fabulous box this month, I'm really impressed.

What did you get in this months Glossybox??? Id love to know.

How To Make Yummy Chocolate Cookie's

Hey girlie's!!! As you might be aware if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter I'm always baking, in fact i love baking!! So a while ago whilst i was watching Tanya Burr on YouTube she made some cookies which looked yummy so i gave them a go, i thought id share with you how mine turned out and also share the recipe as they are delicious (this is my third batch, oops).

What you will need

* 2OOg unsalted butter
* 300g caster sugar
*1 large egg
*275g self-raising flour
* 75g cocoa powder
* 2 or 3 large chocolate bars, if you want to change it up abit you could use M&M's, marshmallows or even nuts. The list is endless really.

Firstly you'll need to cream the butter and caster sugar together, i always pop the butter in the microwave first for about 30 seconds just to make it super soft so its easy to mix with the  sugar. Crack in your egg at this point and give it another quick mix, then i pop in the self-raising flour and cocoa powder and mix again. If the mixture is a little dry then pop in a small drop of milk until u get a cookie dough consistency, then pop in your broken up squares of chocolate and mix throughout.

Line your baking trays with baking paper, i used 3 trays as my mixture always makes around 12-16 cookies, it all depends on how big or thick you want your cookies to how far the mixture will stretch. I use a tablespoon as my guide and then make them into palm sized balls and pop them on the trays equally apart.

Pop in a preheated oven at 200°C or Gas Mark 6 for 10 minutes. They will be very soft and sloppy when the 1o minutes is up so when u take them out the oven leave them to cool for a good 30 minutes before you remove them from the baking tray.

There you have it, yummy cookies that are simply and easy to make.

Let me know if you have made these yummy cookies before?? Did you try adding any new additions??

A Picture Tells A Thousand Storie's #13 (Sunday Summary)

Hey girlie's!!!! Hope this week has been a good one for you all!!! This week i went back to work after enjoying a gorgeous week off with my boyfriend Michael, i have to say it was abit of a shock to the system, i don't know about anyone else but i get used to the nice lay ins and the chilled out vibe and then before you know 'BAM' your alarms going off and its back to reality. Also this week my poor mum had to go to A&E as whilst she was out walking her pooch she fell over and badly sprained her ankle, she now has a rather large black bruise on her foot and ankle and loads of swelling bless her, she swears her ankle done a full 360 though ha ha ( there's nothing like abit of exaggeration for ya ). To be honest its been a rather chilled week, I've been baking again which i will be doing posts on soon if that tickles every ones fancy? Also planted a few more flowers in my garden and that's about it. Anywhooo here's my week in pictures ♥

Yummy BN biscuits are back ♥ My Alfie bear ♥ Blogging in the sunshine earlier in the week ♥ I made a yummy Carrot Cake ♥ I took Alfie on a late night walkies and i thought the sky looked spooky but pretty ♥ 'I don't care how old i am, i still love Walt Disney pictures'. Oh yes!! ♥ My sexy new Ray Bans ♥ My throwback Thursday picture is of me when i was toddler and obsessed with Pony's  ♥ I swear my little monster thinks he's human ♥ I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw Oreo Dairy Milk Chocolate in Tesco's, i mean how have i never seen this before??? Yummy ♥ My bored face ♥ Mine and Mikes naughty supplies for our movie night on Friday ♥ My casual curls ♥ I went Instagram crazy on my fridge ♥

♥ My favourite tunes this week are Imagine Dragons 'Radioactive' and Daft Punk feat Pharrell Williams 'Get Lucky'. Both songs i didn't like when i first heard them but have been total growers and now i love them ♥

Sinful Colors Nail Polish Review ♥

Hey girlie's!!! Around a week ago whilst out shopping and having my usual nosey around in Boots i came across a large stand of pretty nail polishes from the company Sinful Colors, i was immediately in Nail polish heaven and even better was the bargainous price of just £1.99, yup that's right £1.99. The range has everything from creams, metallics and glitters so there's something for everyone, i also immediately thought the bottles looked just like the China Glaze bottles which i think is nice and in my mind it makes them feel more luxurious (weird i know) he he.

I decided to try 2 colours this time as being new to the brand i wasn't sure if id like how they wear on the nails or how they apply etc, after giving these 2 a whirl i have to say i love the brand and can see myself getting quite a collection of these polishes.

Both the polishes applied really well, i found the formula to be quite thin and slightly like some of the Models Own nail polishes I've tried before, i did find that the brush picked up alot of polish so i had to make sure i wiped he excess off on the rim otherwise things could of got messy. The shape of the brush was easy to work with and after i applied 2 coats i found they dried nice and opaque and even, i never experienced any streaking or loss of brush bristles whilst applying either.

The lasting power was fab, they both lasted around the 4 day mark before they started chipping which was longer than i expected, i did use a base coat and top coat so that might of helped them to last slightly longer.

GoGo Girl 15ml
GoGo Girl is a red cream polish with no shimmer running through it all, i used to coats on my nail in this picture to create a nice opaque finish. I think this shade would be great for nights out and looks super cute on toes too.

 Island Coral 15ml
Island Coral is a orangey pink shade which i think is great for spring/summer and i can see this shade looking fab with a tan and when on holiday. Its completely creamy with no shimmer or glitter running through it at all and takes 2 coats for a nice opaque finish.

As far as I'm aware these are only available in Boots at the moment in the UK.

Have your tried any nail polishes from the Sinful Colors range?? What did you think??

A Picture Tells A Thousand Storie's #12 (Sunday Summry)

Hey girlie's!!!! Hope this week has been a fabulous one for you all!!!! This week has been great for me, me and my boyfriend Michael have both had the week off work together and even though we do live together there's never enough time in the day to just chill and spend quality time together as we both work, so having a week off has just been great. We've got lots of odd decorating jobs done around the house, started my spring time spruce up in the garden and my bathroom's having a revamp too, as well as house bit and bobs we've also been out to Norwich shopping all day, been out for lunch, spent some time with my lovely mum and not forgetting taking my Alfie bear on major long walks. The weather has also been a beauty for most of the week too with blue skies and warm sunshine, so yeah you could say I'm one very happy Hayley at the moment. Anywhooo here's my week in pictures ♥

I started off the week by spending the day going shopping with my mum ♥ I cant believe how long my hair's getting now eek ♥ Oreo ice cream is the one he he ♥ Me and Michael on the train going to Norwich to SHOP!!! ♥ Uh oh, we had a cheeky Burger King ♥ My good morning face ha ♥ Took my Alfie bear for a huge walk in the sunshine ♥ The warm sunshine came out so the sandals made their first appearance of the year, oh yerrrr ♥ Diary Milk is my weakness ♥ Alfie loves playing in the garden so much that the little monster wouldn't come inside ♥ Whilst doing my weekly shop in Tesco i came across Pop Tarts and BN's, it was like my childhood all over again ♥ I made some triple chocolate cookies, i will be doing a blog post about these when i make my next batch as it was only my first attempt so watch this space ♥

♥ The songs that have been tickling my fancy this week are Rudimental feat Ella Eyre 'Waiting All Night' and Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding 'I Need Your Love'. Both songs are extremely catchy and great for busting a few moves whilst doing your housework which is what i often do ha ha ♥

Face and Hair of the Day

Hey girlie's!!! I went out for lunch yesterday with my boyfriend and his dad so i thought i may as well share with you a cheeky little face of the day (focused more on the eyes than the skin) and hair of the day combined.... Hope you like ♥

Face

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory, i used my Real Techniques Buffing brush to get a nice flawless finish.

♥ Collection Concealer in Light.

♥ Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Medium, i used my Real Techniques Powder brush to get the perfect finish.

Eyes

♥ Mac Paint Pot in Bare Study, i just blended this all over the lid with my finger to work as a base for my eyeshadow.

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, i started off mixing 'Foxy' and 'WOS' together with my Real Techniques base shadow brush and popped that all over the lid, using the same brush i took the colour 'Faint' and worked that into my crease. To get that extra blended finish in my crease area i picked up a small amount of 'Naked 2' on my deluxe crease brush and just buffed away. I used my accent brush to smudge 'Crave' on the outta corner of my lower lash line.

♥ Dainty Doll Liquid Eyeliner on the upper lash line.

♥ Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Kohl Eyeliner in Black used to line the water line.

♥ Maybelline The Falsies Mascara in Black.

Brows

HD Brows Kit using Ash Brown from the Foxy Palette, i used my Real Techniques detailer brush as this brush is the perfect shape for my brows.

Lips

Natural Collection's Pink Mallow.

Hair

As always i used my Remington Pearl Curling Wand to curl my hair, I'm loving this style at the moment as the curls stay in for a good couple of days in my hair, which in the long run it means I'm using less heat on my hair.

I Went Shopping ♥

Hey girlie's!!!! These are a few bits that I picked up on a recent shopping trip, so since i haven't done a shopping haul post on my blog yet i thought id give it a whirl.....

Firstly i went to Primark, i didn't pick much up as the shop was absolutely packed (as usual) everything was a mess and jumbled (as usual) and i honestly couldn't wait to get out, ranting aside i do love what i picked up.

I decided to get 2 of the popular slogan tee's that are everywhere at the moment, i thought they'd be really cute tucked into high waisted jeans or skirts and go great with my white Vans and for £4 each you cant grumble ♥

I got these gorgeous little plimsolls for a bargain of £3, they're navy with little pink flowers on and i instantly loved them when i saw them. The toe post sandals where £4 and i particularly liked the fact that they have the rose gold metal detail on them as i thought it was really unusual and gives them abit of an edge.

I got this little cream headband purely because my dog decided to chew up my last one ha ha, it was only £1.50 so a nice little bargain. I also picked up some basic black skinny jeans, usually I'm a Topshop Leigh jean kinda gal but thought id give Primark jeans a go.

I then picked a few bits up from New Look.....

I adore peplum tops, with my figure they are just so flattering as I'm quite curvaceous and they just fit me lovely so i bought 2 more to add to my collection, the Coral textured one was £9.99 and i thought would be perfect for spring/summer and the plain Black one was £8.99 which i thought is just a great staple to have in my wardrobe as i can pair it up with literally anything.

This long patterned vest was £6.99 and i just loved it when i spotted it, i think I'm gonna pair it with a navy cardigan, jeans and either some sandals or vans.

Then i popped into Boots, i only went in for face wipes but that didn't happen ha ha....

Maybelline had an offer on a few of their mascara's and since The Falsies is quite raved about  and i needed a new mascara i thought why not grab one, it was £5.99 which i thought wasn't too bad.

I also spotted a new range of nail polishes i hadn't seen before by Sinful Colours, they where all a bargain at £1.99 each so i got 'GoGo Girl' on the left and 'Island Coral' on the right. I'm yet to try them but i love the colours i got.

Finally, i had been lusting over the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette for ages so i caved in and grabbed one in House Of Fraser, it was £20 and i have to say I've only used it once since buying it and i love it, i will be doing a full review on it soon once I've really used the palette abit more.

So that's my collection on new goodies i got, please let me know if you like this kind of post where i do a kind of show and tell of my latest purchases as ill continue in doing them more often.
