November Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

I cant believe it's the last day of November today, I'm not happy that my favourite months of the year seem to be flying by... That being said Christmas is literally just around the corner now and I cant wait so it's swings and roundabouts really isn't it! Anywhoooo....it's favourites time again so I thought I'd share what makeup and beauty bits I've been loving throughout November!
I'm still totally obsessed with my Z Palette and use it all the time, every shade within it can be quickly whacked all over my lid and blended out within seconds, I'm particularly obsessed with the shade Grandstand by Makeup Geek (middle, far right), it's the most stunning rose gold/copper shade with a foil finish! On the rare days I don't reach for my Z Palette I've been using my Naked Heat Palette, it's crammed full of those warm tones which I love! For brows I've been using my Benefit Foolproof Brow Powder constantly, it's so easy to use because the pan is split into two shades, I always start off with the lighter shade at the beginning of my brows and then darken up the tail of my  brows with the darker shade, the formula is great too and I'd highly recommend it for beginners.

For lips I've either been going for a festive red or an easy to wear nude and my Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in Pioneer and Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick have been perfect at creating the two, I'm quite worried at how low I'm getting on Pillow Talk now, I must order another soon! My skin has been getting soooooo dry recently and the only thing that has been helping me is the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre, it's honestly the BEST moisturiser I've used when my skins super dry, it's been a life saver recently! Finally for nails I've been loving the Barry M Superdrug Limited Edition Nail Paint in Extravagantit's a dark vampy red/plum which is crammed full of the most gorgeous sparkles, I'm in love!

What have you been loving this November beaut's?? I'd love to know!

Technic Get More Gorgeous Highlighting Gift Set

Hey beaut's!

If your an highlighting addict like myself or know somebody who loves walking around like a gorgeously glazed donut then I have just the Christmas gift or personal treat for you or them he he, that's right Technic Cosmetics have only gone and created a gift set containing not one but three stunning highlighters, oh my I'm in love!
The Technic Get More Gorgeous Gift Set* (£4.95) contains three of Technic's best selling highlighting shades and after giving them all a whirl over the last couple of weeks I can definitely see why, they are blindingggg! The first highlighter within the set I would say is the most versatile, it's an icy champagne colour that would suit most skin tones and what I absolutely love about it is that it's doesn't contain any obvious shimmer of glitter, it's just a pure metallic sheen, it's stunning! The second highlighter is a bronzing highlighter, this one does contain some minute shimmers but still has that gorgeous metallic sheen like the first highlighter, I think this one is perfect for medium to dark skin tones but used with a light hand I can just about get away with it, it also doubles up as a pretty epic eyeshadow too. The third and final highlighter within the gift set is a warm toned copper/rose gold shade, I've actually been loving this on my cheeks as a dewy blush and it works a treat! Again it does contain some minute shimmers but still has a gorgeous metallic sheen which I adore.
Each highlighter comes in a sturdy plastic compact with a wave-like raised design within the pan, they certainly look pretty cool. Formula wise.... I was blown away! Each highlighter is intensely pigmented so I would suggest using a light hand with these and the texture is as soft as silk which makes me think these powders are super finely milled, I also love how they aren't crammed full with glitter and shimmers like a lot of affordable highlighters are, these just create the most beautiful glow!
If your aim is to get your bestie, sister, aunt or mum glowing this Christmas like they've never glowed before then I cant recommend this set enough, the quality is seriously impressive and they set is just £4.95, can you believe it!

Crabtree & Evelyn Christmas Gift's Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

Christmas is getting so close now I can almost smell it he he and I've got some more Christmas gift ideas for you today from Crabtree & Evelyn. I love Crabtree & Evelyn because not only do they do lots of gorgeous beauty gifts in some incredible scents but they also have foodie bits and pieces and even some lovely candles and reed defusers so theres certainly something to suit most on their website which I love, you can't beat getting lots of presents sorted at once can you.
Even though I've tried quite a few products by Crabtree & Evelyn before I was yet to try one of their candles so I had no idea what to expect. I've been burning their Noël Candle* and wow...it's honestly incredible! Not only does the heavy gold glass jar look super luxurious but the scent is seriously festive, it contains notes of fir tree branches studded with tangy citrus zest and mulled spices, it's literally Christmas in a candle. The scent throw is seriously good too, just as good as a Yankee Candle if not better, and at £16.00 it isn't too expensive for a decent sized candle.
The Pomegranate & Argan Oil Shower Bauble* (£12.00) is such a lovely stocking stuffer, not only is the design of it being an actual bauble super cute but it smells incredibly good too with juicy sweet notes of pomegranate coupled with fresh fig leaves, mmm beaut!

I've always been a HUGE fan of Crabtree & Evelyn's hand creams because they work wonders for me and really nourish my hands when their at their worst so I would highly recommend this Winter Hand Trilogy Cracker* (£12.00). The cracker includes three little 10ml hand creams perfect for popping into your handbag all in super seasonal scents, theres White Cardamon, my favourite Red Berry and Fir and Frosted Spicewood. I think this cracker would make a perfect gift or you could buy a few and put them on the Christmas table instead of the generic crackers.

My Favourite Autumn/Winter Boots!

Hey beaut's!

It's now starting to get very chilly here in the UK and I can almost smell Winter  in the air so it's time to stock up that winter wardrobe with cosy essentials starting with boots. I absolutely love ankle boots, I just find they are so versatile and can generally go with any outfit from dresses with tights to jeans and even thick leggings with frilly socks, the list really is endless so I thought I'd share with you my favourite two pairs I've been living in at the moment from LOTD.

I'm totally obsessed with these Buckle Western Style Ankle Boots from LOTD, not only do they look gorgeous with their suede effect and the trademark buckles that are everywhere at the moment but they are soooo comfortable, I've honestly never found a pair of blocked heeled boots that feel so comfy to walk in, I don't feel like I'm wearing heels at all, it's strange but so good he he! I think the price of these is incredible too, just £20.00 for a pair of well made, fashionable, super comfy boots cant be bad hey.
Black Faux Suede Four Buckle Studded Boots* £30.00

These Faux Suede Four Buckle Studded Boots are perfect to whack on with a pair of skinny jeans and a massive jumper and your good to go! The detail on these is incredible though, from the four buckles and the stud's around the sole and the buckles, their so lush. Again just like the heeled boots these are super comfy and basically go with everything!

You can find both pairs of Boots along with so much more on the LOTD website HERE.

What style of boots have you been loving recently beaut's? I'd love to know!

Leighton Denny Two Of A Kind Collection - Review

Hey beaut's!

When it comes to nails Leighton Denny are where the parties attttt... They have so many pretty colours and finishes to choose from and their Christmas gift sets this year are pretty impressive, they've literally got everything from under the tree gifts to stocking fillers or secret Santa prezzies and they've even got cute little square nail polish baubles to hang on your tree, how amazing is that!

Something that I think is perfect for a stocking filler or secret Santa gift is their Two Of A Kind Collection*, these contain two mini polishes with lots of colour combinations to choose from. I have the Passion and Supermodel set, Passion is a classic sophisticated red perfect for the festive season and Supermodel is Leighton Denny's best-selling mink shade, this one is perfect for any time of the year and any occasion.
Formula wise... it's lovely, they are both super opaque and only take two thin coats for complete coverage on my nails, when they go on they aren't streaky and they don't bubble up at all and they dry really quickly too which is always a bonus. Lasting power was really good too, I'm really heavy handed at work and at home with housework and what not and these kept up really well and didn't start chipping away until 3-4 days of wear which is really good for me.
If your looking for a present for a nail polish lover this Christmas you really cant go wrong with one of these sets, their affordable, cute, fab quality and the colours really compliment each other!

You can find the Leighton Denny Two Of A Kind  Passion/Supermodel Collection for £10.00 HERE.

Jewellerybox.co.uk Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have the cutest pieces of Jewellery to share with you all from the brand Jewellerybox.co.uk. If you haven't heard of Jewellerybox before their an online jewellery retailer where you can buy real jewellery at costume jewellery prices, I mean whats not to love. I actually had some Christmas themed pieces from them last year and was amazed by the quality and just how much they had to offer on their website, theres everything from bracelets, earrings, rings and necklaces in either rose gold, gold or silver so theres certainly something to suit and please everyone.
The first GORGEOUS piece I couldn't resist was this Sterling Silver & CZ Crystal Snowflake Necklace* (£10.00), the snowflake design is so fitting for Winter and it comes on an 18 inch chain so it sits perfectly on my chest or just below a colored shirt, I also love how the CZ Crystals twinkle when the light catches them, it's so pretty
I couldn't not get a bit of Rose Gold, well I am a Rose Gold addict after all and this Belcher Chain Infinity Bracelet* (£5.75) is just stunning! I love how simplistic it is with the barley there chain and bolt ring attachments, this hasn't left my wrist since I got it.
I think this Fine Sterling Silver Star Belcher Chain Bracelet* (£4.85) is a nice subtle way to add something a little bit festive to your jewellery, it's so cute and delicate and I can see myself getting so much wear out of this one over the festivities!
Finally we have the Sterling Silver Fine Bracelet with 3.MM Pearls*, this little beauty is actually worth £15.95 but you can grab yourself one for free if you spend £35.00 or more on the Jewellerybox website and enter the code pearl at the checkout. The offer is only on until the 23rd November so hurry beaut's before you miss out, you cant whack free jewellery can you!
Can we all just appreciate how frickin' adorable the packaging is too, I mean it's honestly as nice as the jewellery itself isn't it. Each piece of jewellery comes inside a shabby chic style brown cardboard box with the jewellery securely tucked away inside. It looks gorgeously presented doesn't it and it would certainly impress over the festive season because it has that 'brown paper packages tied up with string' vibe which I adore.

Technic Blogger's Haul - Christmas Gift Idea

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while you will know I'm a HUGE Technic Cosmetics fan, I can never resist their makeup because not only is it super affordable but it's actually really good too. This year Technic have LOADS of makeup gift sets for Christmas and one that really caught my eye was their Blogger's Haul, I mean come on, anything with Blogger in the title I'm all over he he!

The Technic Blogger's Haul Gift Set* consists of five makeup products which are blogger's absolute favourites, so this is a pretty epic gift if the products within the set have come up trumps with us beauty bloggers. Within the set you get....
Technic Strobe FX Cream in Sunkissed - I literally live for dewy, glowy skin and this strobe cream gives me that 'lit from within' golden glow in seconds when I use it under my foundation, you can also mix it with foundation or use it as a cream highlighter for that extra glow which - of course - I do! This is my second bottle of this stuff, it's beaut!
Technic Mega Lash Mascara in Black - If you want mega volume with no clumps that stays put like nothing else then you HAVE to try this beauty, I'd go as far as saying it's a pretty good dupe for Max Factors False Lash Effect so if you like that then you'll love this!
Technic Brow Pow Brow Powder - I'd never tried the Brow Pow until I received it within this set, it actually dispenses loose brow powder with an attached sponge applicator which is a little tricky to use to begin with but after a few goes application was fine, the formula is fabulous though, great pigment and lasts like nothing else, I also love the addition of a spoolie at the end too.
Technic Skinny Liner in Black - This liquid liner is so good, I wear liquid liner pretty much daily so I've tried my fair share and this one is up theres with one of my favourites, the ultra fine tip creates easy, sharp lines and it's so inky black, I love it!
Technic Colour Max Matte Lipstick - The formula of these lipsticks is stunning,  despite being matte they aren't super drying and my lips still have plenty of movement when rubbed together, the pigmentation is incredible too and it lasts beautifully!

Overall I think this is a fabulous Christmas gift for any makeup and beauty lover, it contains and great range of good quality products that are suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and the fact it's so ruddy cheap at just £7.95 is such a winner, I've said it before and I'll say it again - you cant beat a beauty bargain can you he he.

You can find the Technic Blogger's Haul HERE.

Glam Stocking Fillers For Her!

Hey beaut's!

I think it's fair to say that most of us are now in full Christmas swing, well I know I certainly am he he, I've got a few decorations up already and I have indeed started my Christmas shopping, talking of Christmas shopping today I thought I'd share a few stocking stuffing ideas perfect for any glam, makeup loving gal in your life.
If your looking to save a few pennies on those glam prezzies and you also happen to be jetting off an a pre-Christmas business trip or holiday then World Duty Free is the place to go, they have so many makeup and beauty gifts which will be that little bit cheaper for you. My personal favourites are the NARs Man Ray Love Triangles* (£16.70), these cute triangles come with a Mini NARs Blush/Highlighter and a Mini Audacious Lipstick within them and theres so many colour ways to choose from, I have the Hot Sand Highlighter and the Rita Lipstick both of which are stunning and perfect for the festive season, and £16.00 for some NARs goodies is pretty impressive I think.
Another favourite of mine is the Smashbox Metal Mouth Liquid Lipsticks* (£16.15), these are so cool because they glide on like a full coverage liquid lipstick but they have a glistening high shine finish just like a gloss in one single coat, and if your looking for a festive colour then you HAVE to go for Crimson Chrome, it's the most stunning metallic red!
If you have a girl in your life that loves her false nails* and lashes* then these are a must in her stocking and KISS have sooooo many lashes and nails to choose from, whether you want natural lashes or bold and dramatic to stiletto nails or short square ones, KISS have you covered! For the sophisticated woman's stocking you cant knock a Joan Collins Divine Lips Lipstick* (£18.00), I have quite a few of these myself and they really are amazing lipsticks - from the gorgeous gold packaging which is super lux to the amazing colours and quality you really cant go wrong! Finally nail polish, yup I think nail polishes are the perfect stocking stuffer and this shade 'Winter Garden' by Leighton Denny* (£12.00)  is a stunner, it's a raspberry shade that I think would suit most and it's so versatile for all year round!

Would you like any of these in your stocking this year beaut's? Which is your favourite? I'd love to know!

Leighton Denny 'Winter Garden' Nail Polish Review

Hey beaut's!

I have been loving doing my nails recently, I've been faking it a lot with my handy press on nails by KISS which I love but over the last couple of weeks theres been one nail polish shade I've been obsessed with painting onto my nails... Leighton Denny's Winter Garden!
Winter Garden* is actually from Leighton Denny's new A/W collection, the Heritage Collection! The Heritage Collection is inspired by the beauty and tradition of the British countryside during the autumn and winter months and consists of six stunning shades which reflect the inspiration. I have to say Winter Garden is my favourite shade out of the collection, it's a stunning raspberry pink shade with a lovely glossy shine which is not only great for this time of the year but I can see myself getting loads of wear out of it all year round!
Formula wise... Winter Garden is super opaque and only takes two thin coats for complete coverage on my nails, when it goes on it isn't streaky at all and it doesn't bubble up either and it drys really quickly too which is always a bonus for me because I hate waiting for my nail polish to dry. Lasting power was really good too, I'm really heavy handed at work and at home with housework and what not and my nails didn't start chipping away until 3ish days of wear which is really good for me. Overall I'm totally obsessed with this shade and can see myself getting so much wear out of it, and that super glossy finish is EVERYTHING!!!

You can find the Leighton Denny Winter Garden Nail Polish for £12.00 each HERE.
