Elegant Touch InstaNails Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while now you'll probably already know that I bloody love a false nail or two, I have such short, square, stubby nails naturally so anything that's going to make them look longer and super pretty I'm all over! Recently Elegant Touch launched their InstaNails collection, a range of falsies that will have your nails looking insta-worthy in just 3 minutes, yup I'll take 50 sets thanks he he!
The Elegant Touch InstaNails Collection consists of six kick ass new designs that's are pre-glued for the quickest, easiest, mess free application! The three styles I have been trying are..
Spring Fling* – A nude oval nail finished with pretty iridescent rhinestones and gold studs.
Summer Siesta* – Ahhh my favourite set, these are bright red stiletto shaped nails with gold glitter accents and gold gems.
Vacay Vibes* – A hot pink matte nail in the popular stiletto shape, these ones are almost fluorescent.

Each packet of Elegant Touch InstaNails comes with 24 pre-glued nails in 10 different sizes so you can mix and match to get the perfect fit for you. Personally I LOVE the fact these are pre-glued nails because their my absolute favourite, I hate the whole gluing process because a - it takes longer, b - they are a pain in the butt to remove and c - they always leave your natural nails looking like a complete wreck afterwards but the pre-glued stick on ones are damage free and you can whack them on literally anywhere. Lasting power is great with these ones too, they hold up on my nails for around 3 days without chipping at all, I also love how salon worthy they look, the designs literally look like a professional has spent ages on your nails when in reality you've just whacked them on in a couple of minutes!

I really cant recommend these nails enough, their super quick an easy to apply, they fit my nails perfectly and are nice and comfortable, their not too long for me so I can still un-do that top button on my jeans lol and the designs are just stunning!

You can find the Elegant Touch InstaNails Collection exclusively in Boots HERE from £8.99-£9.99.

Festival Must Haves!

Hey beaut's!

Fancy getting festival ready...Festival season is here and when I think of festivals I think of my favourite things... makeup and glitter... they are literally a match made in festival heaven! You can literally go crazy with makeup at festivals, I'm talking bright colours and plenty of glitz and sparkle, so today I thought I'd share with you a few products that will have you looking festival ready in no time!
Loose glitter is something you just have to wear at a festival, you can whack it literally everywhere whether you want to jazz up your shoulders or do a fancy glitter look on the side of your face, and the best loose glitter I've found is by Essence, they have a loose glitter and pigments collection which consists of 15 different styles, shapes and colours of glitter and it sticks on really well with their Get Your Glitter On Primer, their all £3.00 or less too which is such a bargain!
If you want to go for some glitter and sparkle which doesn't need a glitter glue or primer then Urban Decay, Stila, Collection and Technic Cosmetics do some amazing ones! They all work in pretty much the same way, they all have glitter suspended within a clear -liquid liner style- formula so you can just paint them on wherever you like, even on the eyelids!
Urban Decays Moosdust Palette is literally where the parties at, it contains eight twinkling shades which all have micro fine bits of sparkle within the formula to give them a 3D diamond-like effect, I have to say they do look pretty spectacular on the eyelids and the colour range is so fun and vibrant!
You cant go to a festival without some highlighter and I think Technic's Rainbow Highlighter is perfect, you can use the rainbow segments separately with a small brush if you wish but I like to swirl a brush through all the colours because it creates a very pretty icy lilac shade, it does contain quite a bit of micro glitter but hey if your using a rainbow highlighter and going to a festival I expect to go all out with glitter and sparkle so I'm happy with that!
For lips it's all about going for something fun but long lasting as your not going to want to touch up your lippie through the day really and Maybelline's Super Stay Matte Ink's are probably the most long lasting lip products I own, they come in so many different colours and I think Heroine (orange), Creator (purple) and Pioneer (red) would be awesome festival shades!
Pre-glued stick on nails are literally a must for festivals, they apply super quickly, you can even whack them on in your tent as their fuss free and your literally spoilt for choice with them amount pattens and designs you can get! I'm loving these new Elegant Touch InstaNails* at the moment, these hot pink ones are just lush!
My final festival must have is a makeup setting spray because nobody got time to carry makeup on them for top ups during the day at a festival, and what better spray to use than my all time favourite Urban Decay All Nighter (£10.00)! I've gone through bottles of this stuff, it really does make my makeup stay put for so much longer and I love that Urban Decay have a smaller travel friendly version of this best seller, it makes it so easy to take away with you when you packing light!

What are your festival favourites beaut's? I'd love to know!

May Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

It's favourites time again... This month has been filled with quite a lot of warmth and sunshine which makes me very happy and obviously we had the Royal Wedding which I was absolutely glued too, we even had a tea party for the occasion, it was immense and Meghan looked obviously stunning as always!
This months favourites features some oldies but goodies and one new product that I'm totally obsessed with! Firstly I dug my Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette back out because not only is the palette absolutely fierce for the Autumn months but it's scorching hot for the Spring/Summer months too, I really want the Naked Petite Palette now too!
The Tanya Burr Peonies Please Illuminating Powder has been my total obsession since last August to be honest, it's the prettiest blush/highlight hybrid I've ever seen or used, the pinky glow is just stunning and perfect for Spring/Summer, if you haven't tried this yet then you need to beaut's!

I've been using the PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System for the last two months and have become totally obsessed with it, I do have a full review HERE with before and after picture's if you want to know more about it, but basically it's an at home lip plumping treatment that uses a pulsating vacuum along with a serum to safely boost collagen in the lips to create more volume! It's so quick and easy to use and it really does works beaut's, I'm a little addicted to it now I must admit he he!

I've had Vichy's Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation in my stash for ages, I hadn't really used it much because my skin was slightly drier before, but I seem to have turned more oily/combination over the last few months so decided to try it out again and I bloody well love it! The coverage is incredible and it lasts all day without the need for touch ups yet it's so lightweight and doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything most of the time. It has a semi matte finish to so it controls my oily patches but still leaves my skin with an ever so slight glow to it!

Finally this month my perfume of choice has been Vera Wang's Hippie Princess, I always get this one out at this time of the year because it's very fruity and sweet and always reminds me of Summer!

What have you been loving this month beaut's? I'd love to know!

I absolutely LOVE KitKat's so these went down an absolute treat with me, the Senses box contains a mix of Hazelnut, Salted Caramel and Double Chocolate KitKat bites that have been individually wrapped for sharing, only if your feeling generous that is he he. The KitKat Bites are in a new white chocolate flavour which is like a match made in heaven, if your a KitKat lover as well as a white chocolate lover then your seriously going to like these!
Then we have two bags of Brioche Pasquier PITCH (£1.39 each). Me and my boyfriend have always loved Brioche Pasquier's pastries, they are just so sweet and yummy and the addition of chocolate in these is immense!
The product of the month goes to Santa Maria Latin American Kitchen, we have their Mini Coconut & Black Pepper Totillas (£1.50) and their Caribbean Creamy Chicken Curry Seasoning Mix (£1.50) to try!  I love making a chicken curry so I'm excited to see how this seasoning mix tastes and the tortillas sound amazing with the addiction of coconut and black pepper within then.
Theres quite a few drinks to try in this months box so I'm starting with this one by Say Aloe (£1.49). This is an aloe vera drink in strawberry flavour and tastes super fresh, the consistency throws me off a bit though, it's like washing up liquid lol.
I love a bottle of Lucazade (£1.10) although it does always remind me of when I'm poorly as my Mum always used to get me drinking bottles of the stuff when I was little when I was under the weather he he, never the less I'll be keeping this in the fridge for when I need a bit of a boost!
Next up is a bottle of We Made Lemonade (£1.50), this stuff is absolutely gorgeous and so refreshing on the hot days we've had in the UK recently, I definitely want more bottles of this now.

PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System Review

Hey beaut's!

Big, pouty lips seem to be the thing to have in the beauty world at the moment, if we're not thinking about lip fillers then we're grabbing our nearest lip liner and over-drawing those bad boys to achieve the perfect pout! For me personally lip fillers would be something I'd NEVER do, but that doesn't stop me wanting more plump lips, so when I heard about the PMD Kiss Lip Plumping System I was really intrigued to see if it worked!
The PMD Kiss* is a smart anti-ageing lip plumping treatment that uses a pulsating vacuum along with a serum that claim to safely boost collagen in the lips to create more volume and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Inside the box you get the device itself which is hand-held size (it's smaller than my IPhone for reference), a 5ml tube of the Smart Lip Plumping Serum, a USB charger and two different sized plumping tips.
To use the PMD Kiss you simply pop some of the specifically formulated serum onto clean - dry lips, the serum tastes and smells just like toothpaste and has an ever so slight warm/tingly sensation too it when it's first applied but it's not intense at all. After the serum is applied you pop on the PMD Kiss and firmly press the plumping tip onto your lip creating a tight seal to create suction. You then use the plumper in six sections of your lips - so the left, right and centre of your top and bottom lip - you do this for around 10-20 pulses on each section which you can hear which makes counting whilst it's doing it's thang pretty easy. You can also use the PMD Kiss on the inner lip tissue as well as the outer lip tissue to create extra fullness if you wish, I haven't done this as I like the results just from the outta tissue but I like the fact the options there.  The device also has two speeds, you can either go for the standard speed for a quick plump and low speed for a more intense, targeted plump.
You can use the PMD Kiss as often as you like as it is safe to use, I use mine everyday as it's so quick and easy, it literally takes 2 minutes. I haven't had a single issue since I started using mine either, it never hurts or feels sore, it never feels uncomfortable or tight when it's on and I've found the results really good! I've always been quite happy with my bottom lip to be honest but my top lip is thin and not very pout like but I definitely feel after using the PMD Kiss my pout is much fuller and my top lip has more volume!

As you can see from the before and after pictures the PMD Kiss definitely makes my lips appear fuller and the overall shape of my lips looks more pouty, the only little niggle I have is that the serum does make my lips a little dry afterwards as you may be able to tell in the after picture but it's nothing a little lip balm cant fix! Overall I absolutely LOVE this little device and cant recommend it enough if you want you lips to look fuller!

You can find the PMD Kiss for £125.00 HERE.

Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Mask Review

Hey beaut's!

Oh I do love a pamper sesh, theres nothing like snuggling up in your favourite PJ's with plenty of choccies to hand, with Netflix on (obvs), nail polish at the ready and of course a face mask, and recently when I was browsing in Superdrug I noticed Garnier had a tissue mask I was yet to try - their Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Mask - so I had to buy it!

The Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Mask is an all in one, ultra thin sheet mask which is suitable for all skin types - even the most sensitive - but is especially targeted for those with enlarged pores. The mask itself is infused with a serum that has been enriched with Black Algae Extract, Hyaluronic Acid and LHA making this an ultra hydrating, purifying and pore-tightening mask that will also reduce shine too, perfect for more oily/combination girls! To apply the mask you simply remove it from the packaging, whack it on your face and then terrify everyone who you live with for 15-20 minutes *my dog always gives me so many funny looks when I wear sheet masks*, and then simply peel it off to remove it without any need of scrubbing or rinsing, perfect! Whilst the mask is on you'll notice that the mask itself is absolutely drenched in serum, personally I love this because once you take the mask off theres still plenty of serum left on my face to rub into my skin, so my skin really gets all the benefits. There isn't much of a scent to this mask and it's doesn't tingle of warm up whilst it's on either which I much prefer as my skins more on the sensitive side!
The results I got after using the Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Mask where great, my skin felt super moisturised but not oily or shiny in any way, it was really soft and so so smooth and although I didn't see a huge difference in the size of my pores initially, the next day after applying my makeup my pores where barley visible and my makeup looked so smooth and flawless, so I would definitely say it shrinks/tightened those pesky pores. I have to say I'm a huge fan of Garnier's sheet masks, their so easy to apply and don't slip off midway through the application, their mess and fuss free and for a couple a pounds in Superdrug you really cant go wrong!

You can find the Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Tissue Mask in Superdrug for £1.99 HERE.

KISS Gel Fantasy Nails Review

Hey beaut's!

I haven't been blessed with the best natural nails, mine are so short, square and stubby so I love to fake it from time to time and KISS nails are always my first port of call, they just have so many pretty designs and colours to choose from that I can never resist and their Gel Fantasy range is one of my favourites!
The KISS Gel Fantasy nails honestly look salon worthy to me, their super glossy and hard wearing and the glitter designs on some of them look exactly like what you would get in the salon, their gorgeous! The four styles I've been trying are...
Faux Real* - These are my favourites and the ones I whacked on my nails as soon as I got them, they are super sparkly nails with squared off tips and a shorter design - perfect for me! I've had so many complements on these ones too because their just so sparkly and pretty!
Fanciful* - Again another favourite set of mine, these ones are nude with super twinkly gradient style glitter tips, these also have the squared of design that I love!
Lit Within*- This set have a more natural oval shape to them and are in the prettiest baby pink colour.
Ab Fab* - These are quite a dramatic set of nails in a deep brown shade but they have an almost dark burgundy sheen to them in certain lights, they're super pretty and would work well on a night out!
Each packet of Gel Fantasy nails contains 24-28 nails in different sizes so you can mix and match to get the best fit for you, theres also a little nail file and manicure stick within the box too. What's great about the gel fantasy nails is that you get two options for the application process, theres nail glue so you can glue the nails on if you wish, or theres mega adhesive tabs so you can apply them just like the imPRESS ones - which is my favourite way and definitely better for the nails because you can just peel them off safely once your done with them without the risk of damaging the natural nail. Lasting power is great with these ones but I do find the glue holds up better than the sticky tabs, if I want my nails to really stay put for a while then I use the glue as that lasts over a week on me but I like using the tabs for special occasions when I know I don't need the nails to stay on long!

You can find the KISS Gel Fantasy Nails in store at Superdrug or online HERE for £7.99 each! PS. Their on offer at the moment too, woohoo!

Yummy Snacks By Clearly Scrumptious!

 Hey beaut's!

I'm such a snacker between meals, I'm one of those people that when I'm bored I go and raid the kitchen cupboards for something to snack on and nine times out of ten I'll reach for the most unhealthiest option. Obviously with Summer coming up I've been trying to make some healthier choices but that can be hard sometimes with my naughty snacking habits until I tried a few packets of Scrummies by Clearly Scrumptious!
Scrummies* are a mix of juicy cranberries and succulent raisins which come in six natural fruit flavours- strawberry, apple, raspberry, blackcurrant, cherry and blueberry. Whats great about these is that they really do feel like your eating a bag of sweets or having a naughty sweet treat when in actual fact they are completely healthy for you, their also wheat, gluten and dairy free, vegan, sulphite free, have no added sugar and class as on of your five a day, arhh so much goodness in one little packet hey.
Scrummies are the perfect Summer snack too because you can just throw a couple of bags  into your handbag and not have the worry about anything melting or being tricky to eat whilst your out and about and on the go, their so convenient!

Overall if you have some naughty snacking habits like me then I cant recommend these packets of Scrummies enough, they cure that sweet craving and keep you going from one meal to the next, and they go down a treat with kids too, my nephew loves them!

You can find the boxes of Scrummies on the Clearly Scrumptious shop HERE, you can grab a box of 20 bags for £10.00 making them just 50p and bag!

Design.ME Hair Lands In The UK!

Hey beaut's!

Design.ME Hair is a super new brand to me, that's because its actually a US based, vegan, cruelty-free, sulphate, paraben and gluten free haircare brand which isn't that easy to get hold of here in the UK only in Sally Beauty stores and online. Design.ME Hair currently have five products available on the Sally Beauty website and I've been giving three of them a whirl over the last month or so and have really been enjoying the results! PS - Can we just appreciate how gorgeous the packaging is, it's so fun and colourful and looks so cute on my dresser!
I'm going to kick things off with my favourite product out of the three, the PowerDRY.ME Spray* (£14.95). This unique little product claims to reduce blow dry time by up to 50%, and seeing as I absolutely HATE drying my hair anything that claims to speed the process up I'm all over. Now I have no idea about the technology behind this product but it definitely does seem to work because my hair seems to dry much quicker than before, all I do is literally spritz the PowerDRY.ME spray all through my hair from root to tip and blow dry as normal and after a couple of minutes it's dry, it's a life saver for me as my hair is quite thick so usually takes ages to dry. It also offers heat and UV Protection and smells incredible, just like a salon!
Next up is the Fab.ME Hair Moisturising Mist* (£9.95), this beauty is the mother of all hair treatments, it detangles, hydrates, conditions, nourishes, strengthens, smooths and protects the hair all in a few easy spritz'! I love using this when I've neglected my hair a bit with heat or just when my hairs looking a bit drab, it's really does act like a 'pick me up' product for my hair and gives it some life back. Despite being quite a nourishing product it doesn't feel heavy in my hair nore does it make my hair greasy like other conditioning sprays have done in the past, and just like PowerDRY.ME it smells soooo good!
Finally I've been using the Puff.ME Volumising Powder Mist* (£9.95). This is the FIRST EVER super-volumising powder spray in a pump which gives you that instant volume you've been longing for. Now I must admit it took me a while to get to grips with this product, it just felt quite strange spraying a powder into my hair, it also feels slightly tacky and stiff to begin with but it does indeed add a lot of volume and texture to the hair. I have quite a deep set side parting so one side of my head has a lot less hair than the other, so on flat days I like to rub some Puff.ME into the root area and it gives me a lift without the back-combing. I think Puff.ME would work amazingly well for up do's too because it does add lots of texture to the hair and make it so easy to work with and creates great hold for pins and grips!

You can shop the Design.ME Hair Range HERE.
