Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

You may have seen that back in June we said a big hello a new makeup brand in town named Freedom Makeup. I've actually been using quite a few their makeup products recently and have been super impressed by the quality, one product in particular that I've been obsessed with which I didn't think I would be too fond at first  is their Pro Correct Palette, so I thought I'd review it in full for you all today.

The Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette* (£5.00)  is described as being a “Makeup Artist’s Secret Weapon” and contains 6 rectangular shaped correctors that are to be used underneath your makeup to conceal, tone and illuminate the skin leaving you with a nice even base to start your face makeup.
Each funky shade within the Pro Correct Palette has a specific use, the Yellow is perfect for hiding purple and blue under eye circles, veins and can help lighten dark complexions. The Purple shade is great for eliminating any unwanted yellow undertones on your skin, so if you suffer with a pasty, dull, yellow complexion you will love this purple concealer shade. The Green shade neutralises the colour red, so if you have any redness on your face or an annoying zit and any acne scars this shade will really help you out. The Pink/Salmon shade is ideal for brightening around the eye area and masking signs of fatigue, great when the signs of a rough nights sleep really show he he. The Orange shade is perfect for people with darker skin tones looking to hide dark circles or other spots with deep discolouration. And lastly the White shade within the palette is great for highlighting and adds natural luminosity to the complexion.
I really have been loving this little palette, each colour does a great job of what's its been made to do and they are all super creamy and blend out a dream. My most used shades are the Yellow and the Green, I have such dark under eye circles in the mornings and it usually takes me layering 2 concealers to really get rid of them but when I use the Yellow shade within the Pro Correct Palette it helps soooo much. The Green shade has been a godsend for the redness around my nose in the mornings and due to being slightly hormonal recently I've had a few red, horrid looking spots that I've just wanted to banish a this little palette has really helped me out.
Overall I think the Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette is absolutely fabulous and for just £5.00 you really cant go wrong, what a beauty bargain he he. The only negative I would have to say about this palette isn't about the product itself (because I loveeee it) but that there is no directions on or within the palette that explains how to use each shade, if I was a beginner to makeup I honestly wouldn't have a clue how to use this palette so it's quite lucky that I'm a makeup addict and know how to use each shade already.

What do you think of the Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette beaut's?? Will you be buying it?? I'd love to know.

Degustabox Review + Discount Code

Hey beaut's!

I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your abit of a foodie like myself  and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's!

Anywhooo onto what yummy treats I received in my June Degustabox...

Kallo Corn & Rice Snacks – Sea Salt & Vinegar Flavour 70p
I do love corn/rice cake snacks so I'm looking forward to munching on these whilst watching a movie, they are so much better for you than your typical crisps or chips so they are good alternative if your trying to be abit healthier.

Kallo Rice Cake Snacks – Belgian Milk Chocolate with Caramel Pieces £1.69
I absolutely love the Kallo chocolate covered rice cakes and buy them all the time so when I saw these rice cake thins I knew I'd love them, they are sooooo tasty and again they are great if your trying to be healthier but still fancy a bit of a chocolate treat.

Brioche Pasquier – Chocolate Chip & Chocolate both £1.70 each
I've always loved Brioche Pasquier's pastries, they are just so sweet and yummy and the fact these contain chocolate obviously blows my mind seeing as I'm a chocoholic ha ha, they are conveniently individually wrapped to so are perfect to pop in your lunch box for work or school.

Coconom – Organic Coconut Sugar £3.25
I was so pleased to be sent a packet of the Coconom Organic Coconut Sugar as I've always wanted to give it a go when it comes to baking. Coconut sugar is a direct replacement for ordinary sugar, but it’s supposed to be better for you and you can use it in the exact same ways you'd use normal sugar too, so in your tea/coffee, on your porridge and like I said before I bet its amazing in cakes.

Love Chin Chin – Cinnamon Flavour £1.00

I was really interested in trying these Love Chin Chin snacks as I'd never heard of them or even seen them in the supermarkets before. They are basically little cinnamon flavoured biscuits which taste a bit like cake, personally I wasn't blown away by them but they did make a good desk snack whilst I was blogging.

ICYCL – Vodka Ice pop £2.50

I never actually got to try my Vodka Ice pop because during the night after I received my Degustabox it actually exploded within the box covering all my other degustabox goodies in fruity vodka. Even though it did explode it did smell nice and I think they would be perfect at BBQ's during the Summer.

Vybe Coconut Water £1.89
Coconut water is soooo yummy so as you can imagine this didn't last long, it's so refreshing on a hot day and since the UK has finally had some hot and warmer days this arrived at the perfect time really ha ha.

Melba Thins – Multigrain £1.39
Melba Thins are so versatile, they are little crisp toast slices that can be topped with pretty much anything, you can use them at breakfast time, for brunch or lunch, for snacks and even at cocktail parties! Sweet or savoury the choice is yours.

Zeo – Zesty Lime and Peach & Grapefruit £1.29 each
Now these soft drinks from Zeo look super tasty and I love the fact they come in glass bottles too (it's the little things he he), the 2 flavours I received where Lime and Peach and Grapefruit which will all go down a treat on a hot summers day with some ice mmmmm.

Rekorderlig – Strawberry & Lime £1.49
I'm not really a drinker myself so the boyfriend will enjoy guzzling this down when we have a BBQ I'm sure, it does sound delicious though.

Overall I love Degustabox, I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.

Degustabox have kindly given me a discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop UGVO7 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a £3.00 discount when registering. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise treats ha ha!

What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts.

Flowers.... I just love them! I always like to have a bunch of flowers in my house no matter what the season, I just feel like they really make a house a home not to mention they are super pretty and smell fabulous! Today I have a pretty amazing bouquet to share with you all from the lovelies over at Debenhams Flowers, they have an array of bouquets to suit any season and occasion and I instantly fell in love with their Summer Sun* Bouquet (£34.99) when I saw it. The bouquet arrived in a large, well padded upright box which I thought was great, not a single flower or even a leaf was out of place or damaged, they where also beautifully wrapped which certainly makes them look that extra bit special, especially if your gifting someone a bouquet and they come complete with care instructions so you can get the most out of your bouquet.
The Summer Sun Bouquet is available in 3 sizes, Standard which is the size I have, Large and Extra Large, personally I think its nice to have the option of the 3 sizes. With the Standard option you get 2 Solidago, 3 Sunflowers, 3 Green Chrysanthemums, 6 Cherry Brandy Roses, 1 Purple Statice and 1 Hard Ruscus. Personally I think the Standard size is lovely but if you really want to impress, wow and woo someone then you just have to go for the Large or Extra Large don't you he he. I have to add that the bouquet not only looks amazing but smells amazing too, I close my lounge door in the evenings and when I open the door in the morning the smell is just divine, arrhhhh.

The delivery of this bouquet was amazing....I love how Debenhams make it so easy to deliver and send the bouquets, you can add a personal message and select the exact date you wish your bouquet to be delivered on, this is great if your sending a bouquet as a gift.

Debenhams Flowers have kindly given me a discount code to share with you all today for an amazing 25% off a bouquet of your choice ( The only bouquets exempt from the discount is the 'Flowers By Post' range, however this is a very small range so theres still plenty of other bouquets to choose from) Your 25% discount code is DFBLOG25.

Today I'm back with another beauty wish list, I know, I know, this is my second beauty wishlist during July but I just cant help it, theres so many pretty things I'm lusting after at the moment so I thought why not do another post on them all. Firstly I just NEED the new Real Techniques Limited Edition Eyeliner Brush Set in my life, I couldn't quite believe it when I just stumbled across the set on the Escentual website as I hadn't heard a single thing about a new set at all, but it will most certainly have to be mine he he. I'm really lusting after a list of things from Barry M at the moment, their recently released makeup all looks so good so I'm definitely going to have to pick a few things up from them soon. Something else I'm now dying to get my hands on is the MAC Pro Longwear Foundation, I got a sample of this a while back in my local MAC store and my goodness I'm in love with it and need the full size bottle in my life soon he he. Other things on my wishlist this month include a gorgeous Zoeva Eyeshadow Palette, some more goodies from Zoella's Tutti Frutti line, a Ciaté London nail polish from the Olivia Palermo line and the Body Shop's Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub. Please do let me know if you've tried anything on my wish list and what you thought of it as I'd love to know.

Essence Candles Exotic Fig Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while you'll probably know I'm a huge candle fan, I'm just obsessed and literally have a candle burning everyday in my house because not only does my house then smell amazing everyday but I find candles are just so inviting and homely. I've recently been testing out a Luxury Gift Wrapped Candle Jar in Exotic Fig* (£19.00) by a company called Essence Candles so of course I thought I'd share my thoughts with you all today.
Essence Candles have a shop on Etsy that sell luxury hand poured soy wax candles that are available in tins, glass jars, candle hampers and candle wedding favours which come with personalised labelling and theres five gorgeous scents to choose from too.
As I said before I received the Luxury Gift Wrapped Candle Jar in Exotic Fig, this option is so nice if your looking to give a candle lover or anyone for that matter a gift as it just looks so pretty, the thick glass jar is sat inside a presentation box that's been filled with baby blue tissue paper and is then finished off with a baby blue bow ribbon. I love that fact that the glass jar is so thick, weighty and good quality because after I've finished with my candle I plan on reusing the jar as either a makeup brush holder, cotton bud holder or for my cotton wool pads, but to be honest the list is endless for the amount of uses the jar can have.
The Exotic Fig scent is just gorgeous, it smells so fresh, tropical, fruity and slightly sweet which makes it the perfect candle to burn through the warmer months. As for how the candle burns.... Well, because the Essence Candles are made from Soy Wax it means they burn a lot longer and more cleanly than you average candle, so you don't get any of that horrid soot build up or wasted wax around the edges of the candle jar and it doesn't release any toxic carcinogens in to the air either. The glass jars can burn for up to 70+ hours and I've been burning mine everyday in 2-3 hour bursts since Ive had it and it's still going strong and looks hardly used, I've found that the 2-3 hours is enough to fill my house with the gorgeous scent for most of the day. Exotic Fig is also a very recognisable scent meaning that if anyone walks into my house after I've been burning it they ask me straight away what I've been burning as my house smells lovely which is always nice.
Overall I think Essence Candles are absolutely lush and make a lovely gift for either someone special or a little treat for yourself. I love that they are made form soy wax too, it's honestly so much better and makes the candle last so much longer not to mention the scent it just AMAZING!!!!

You can find the Essence Candle shop on Etsy here with prices starting from £8.00.

Escada 'Turquoise Summer' Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Every year when my Mum and Dad go off on their holidays they always buy myself and my boyfriend a bottle perfume and aftershave, its something they've done for years and it's become a bit of a tradition now he he. They recently jetted of to Majorca so I knew when they came home I'd more than likely have a bottle of something sweet smelling and I did bless them, it was a bottle of Escada's Limited Edition fragrance called 'Turqoise Summer' so I thought I'd review it for you all today.
Turquoise Summer is Escada's annual limited edition summer fragrance for 2015 and is said to be inspired by the serene atmosphere of summer, vivid orchards and butterflies. The perfume itself is a perfect everyday fragrance for the Summer months, it's literally bursting with fruit notes, and is complimented with uplifting floral notes, so if your a lover of the fruity scents girls you'll love Turquoise Summer. The scent opens up with top notes of juicy pineapple, strawberry and tutti fruity which give it a very tropical feel, before a vibrant floral bouquet blossoms in the heart of the fragrance. As Turquoise Summer drys down the base notes of creamy vanilla and blackcurrant really do come through and adds a subtle sweet element which helps balance things out which I really like. As for lasting power... Turquoise Summer lasts on me most of the day with just two spritz', I'm always getting whiffs of it during the day and it's sometimes noticeable where people will ask me what perfume I have on which is always nice.
As for the packaging... It's quite a classic, simple shape and the shade of the glass fades from a dark turquoise to clear which I think is pretty, I am slightly miffed that I didn't get the gorgeous pink butterfly that is meant to decorate the lid of the bottle, I looked into this more and it's because I have the 30ml bottle and only the two larger bottles have the pretty butterfly which quite frankly sucks but hey ho.

Overall I absolutely love Escada's Turquoise Summer, it's so fresh yet so fruity and isn't heavy in the slightest which is a major plus and makes it such an easy scent to wear, it's most definitely the perfect scent for the Summer and I've been obsessed with it since I got it, so a big thumbs up to my Mum for picking out a good'un!

Whats your favourite scent for the Summer months beaut's?? I'd love to know.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick Review + GIVEAWAY! ♥

Hey beaut's!

I have an extremely exciting post for you all today, firstly I'm reviewing the Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstickin the shade Innocent (£20.00) and secondly I have 2 more of the Estée Lauder Lipsticks to give away to you beauties thanks to the amazing Cosme-De website. If you haven't heard of Cosme-De before it's basically a beauty lovers dream ha ha, it is an online shopping site that sells all things beauty, skincare, fragrance, haircare plus much more, they  stock brands such as Benefit, Bioderma, Clinque, Bobbi Brown, YSL, NARS and that's just to name a few so theres certainly plenty of choice on the website. Anywhooo onto the lipstick review... The Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick claims to keep my lips moisturised without compromising the colour payoff, this was very interesting for me as I love moisturising lipsticks but always find they lack in the pigmentation department and go on very sheer, so I couldn't wait to put this lipstick to the test and let me tell you beaut's, the results are just WOW!
As I said before the shade I have is Innocent which is a gorgeous coral/nude shade, perfect for everyday wear during the Summer or even on a night out when your eye makeup is more dramatic. The formula of the Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick is just amazing, it's so soft, smooth, creamy and feels luxuriously comfortable and lightweight on the lips. The pigmentation is amazing for such a moisturising lipstick and lasts a good 4-5 hours on my lips without any feathering and leaves no sticky feeling on the lips either.
The design of the lipstick overall is great, the lipstick bullet itself has a slim shape which sculpts the curves of your lips for easy, effortless application and the slim, navy packaging looks so chic and luxurious and comes complete with an innovative, magnetic closure that clicks the cap securely shut, this I must add is so addictive as I just love the sound and feeling of that click ha ha.
Overall I absolutely love this Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick, it's certainly got me lusting for more as it ticks all the boxes for me, moisturising, pigmented, creamy texture, gorgeous colour, great lasting power, pretty packaging with an addictive magnetic cap, what more could a girl ask for from a lipstick he he.

July Glossybox Review | Vive La France Edition ♥

Hey beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossybox time!!! This month Glossybox have gone with a 'Vive La France' theme which I absolutely adore, the box is just gorgeous and features some stunning illustrations by Jamie Lee Reardin, I'd even go as far as saying the actual design of the box itself is my favourite I've ever received, and that's saying something considering I've been getting Glossybox for years and have seen a far few themed boxes. As for the contents this month.... Although I am happy with what I got I am really let down by the fact I only receiving one full size product this month, I think the cuteness of the theme has definitely overtook the actual product contents but hey ho, you win some you lose some.
Anywhoo lets see what I received inside my July Glossybox...

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Cream | Sample | Full Size £31.00
Vichy is a brand I adore, I've tried a few things from their skincare range and makeup range and have always been blown away by the results so I cant wait to give their Aqualia Thermal Light Cream a go. This light cream has a gel like formula and is designed to smooth lines, plumps up the skin, moisturise whilst also adding radiance, sounds good to me.

Lollipops Lip Balm Dèlicieuse | Full Size | £4.15
How pretty does this lip balm by Lollipops look, arrhh so cute! The balm itself is described as a rich and creamy lip balm which soothes and softens the lips, it also contains antioxidants, vitamin E and it also protects the lips against UV damage too. Since trying the balm I've found a little goes a long way because it does have quite a thick consistency but it really does nourish the lips and the scent.... well it's incredible, it's so sweet and has a big kick of vanilla in there too and juts reminds on the smell of cakes, yum!

Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base | Sample | Full Size £33.46
The Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base is said to offer complete hydration, tightens those pores and is an antioxidant shield if you smoke or are exposed to pollution and is to be layered under your daily moisturiser. Although I don't smoke and am rarely around people that do smoke I'm not too sure how much this will benefit me but of course ill give this a go and see what I think, it's also quite a pricey product when buying the full size so my instincts tell me it must be rather good.

Teoxane Cosmeceuticals Perfect Skin Refiner | Sample | Full Size £70.00
Next we have the Teoxane Cosmeceuticals Perfect Skin Refiner which is a night cream that contains hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate the skin, 10% glycolic acid which helps to resurface the skin and calming ingredients to reduce irritation. The full size of this little cream is a hefty £70.00 so I'm expecting very good things from this, it does state that it's quite a potent treatment so a high SPF is a must for during the day.

Glossybox Exclusive Travel Pouch £3.99
Lastly we have a Glossybox branded plastic travel pouch which is just beautiful, I really like the fact that it's somewhat clear to so you can see exactly whats in there.

What did you think of this month's box beaut's?? I'd love to know.
