Giving ELEVEN Australia Haircare A Whirl!

Hey beaut's!

It's no secret that I've always struggled with knowing what shampoo and conditioner to buy for my hair, I was always one of these gals that would literally just buy any brand of shampoo that was on offer and this meant I was actually damaging my hair, so my hairdresser Rachael from Serenity Thetford helped me out as always and gave me a few bits from ELEVEN Australia to try!

If your new to ELEVEN Australia like I was, they're an award winning hair care brand with 35 products to choose from that suit all hair types. Their also cruelty-free and PETA approved and only include high performing natural ingredients within their products such as Australian desert lime, avocado oil, coconut oil and organic cucumber just to name a few!
I have very dry, brittle hair usually that has some damage from my heated tools and I'd often have some annoying static moments (which is actually common when you use crappy hair care) so my hairdresser suggested the Hydrate My Hair range so I've been using the Hydrate My Hair Moisture Shampoo and the matching Hydrate My Hair Moisture Conditioner and let me tell ya, their a match made in heaven on my dry. damaged locks! This duo leaves my hair feeling so nourished, glossy, healthy and most importantly I never get any static problems anymore, thank goodness!
Something else I've been using once a week is the ELEVEN Australia 3 Minute Repair Rinse Out Treatment, this is a must try if you have dry, damaged hair and is so quick and easy to use, theres no hanging around for 15-30 minutes like usual treatments, this one you whack on your hair for just 3 minutes then your done! It's the perfect product if your wanting more manageable hair and really want to restore softness and trap in some moisture, it's a little miracle worker really and makes my hair feel INCREDIBLE, I actually noticed instant results after the first use!
On the days I curl my hair I've been reaching for the I Want Body Texture Spray, this spray works amazingly well for adding that beachy feel and texture to your the hair when it's been given a loose wave, it can also add a lot of volume to flat hair if you spray it in at the roots! Also if you struggle with up-do's like I do this spray is amazing at adding grip for that tousled look!

If your in the Norfolk area you can find all of these ELEVEN Australia products in Serenity Hair Design & Beauty, Rachael (who cuts my barnet) is the managing directer there and is full of hair care knowledge, honestly shes knows everything there is to know about hair so I really recommend booking in with her if your in the local area! Of course you can find the ELEVEN Australia products online too.

Have you tried any ELEVEN Australia hair products beaut's? What are your favourites? I'd love to know.

Is The Morphe Highlight and Contour Sponge Worth The Hype??

Hey beaut's!

It's been a while, this is my first post of 2020 so happy new year guys and gals...arhh I cant believe we're now in a new decade, pure craziness! Anyway just after the festivities I did post my 'What I Got For Christmas' blog post and within that post I shared that I had received the Morphe Highlight and Contour Sponge, I had wanted to try this best selling sponge for ages and thankfully my Mum bought it for me bless her! So is it really worth the hype?? Lets find out!
I have to jump straight in and say this little sponge by Morphe has been a complete game changer for me, it bounces on and blends my foundation and concealer with complete ease without leaving any streaks and makes my base makeup look so smooth, lightweight and natural and I never have any problems with my makeup looking cakey or going cakey during the day when I use this little beauty. The sponge itself is quite firm when dry but gets more bouncy when it's wet, I will admit though it does still have a slight firmness to it when it's wet, it's not what I'd call light and foamy but it's not rock solid either - it's somewhere in between, it feels more durable if that makes sense and like it will last longer! The shape of the sponge is absolutely amazing for all area's of the face, the roundness at one end makes it so easy to use and blends your cream and liquid products in like a dream and then the flatter almost triangular end is great for getting into the harder to reach area's around your nose, eyes and brows, also if your fond of the 'baking' trend the sharper end of the sponge works incredibly well because you can stripe on loose powder under your contour and under your eyes really precisely.
In my opinion the Morphe  Highlight and Contour Sponge is definitely worth they hype and I can see why it's a best seller, my foundation and concealer looks so lightweight and flawless when I use my sponge - which is everyday without fail he he - it's also affordable at just £8.00 making it much cheaper than the original beauty blenders and only a couple of pounds more than the Real Techniques sponge! I feel like the Morphe sponge is really robust too, most of my cheaper sponges rip and tear so easily but I cant really see this happening to my Morphe one anytime soon! Overall I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sponge, so thank you so much Mother for buying it for me for Christmas!

Have you tried the Morphe Highlight and Contour Sponge beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

You can find the Morphe Highlight and Contour Sponge on the Boots website HERE for £8.00!

The Pro Co Vegan Skincare That Will Leave You Glowing!

Hey beaut's!

I'm hugely into skincare and looking after my skin these days, I think it's because I'm getting that bit older now and I've realised how important it is to have a good skincare routine in place. Whilst I've been perfecting my skincare routine I've been testing out a couple of The Pro Co skincare products and I've been loving the results so far!
To give my skin a little TLC (which is well needed at this time of the year) I've been using The Pro Co's little trio of serums starting with their Vit C Serum, I use this little beauty twice a day after cleansing before my normal moisturiser and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and supple, not to mention naturally radiant - I love that glow!!! The Vitamin C serum is actually formulated using a unique combination of active and natural ingredients to reduce the signs of ageing by helping reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles, age spots and dull, faded looking skin. It also improves skin firmness over time, evens out the skin tone and increases radiance, all whilst being gentle on the skin! I've really been loving this bottle of gorgeousness, it's great for no-makeup days when you want your skin to look glowy and healthy but then it's also great for makeup days too as it creates a lovely dewy base that doesnt go oily or greasy!

The Eye Rescue Serum is literally a god send for me and my tired, dark eyes! The serum has been formulated using advanced encapsulated natural ingredients and designed to help fade existing pigmentation and improve skin micro-circulation, so if your part of the dark under eye club girls and boys this one could be for you. Just like the Vitamin C Serum I use the Eye Rescue twice a day after cleansing, I simply pop one tiny drop of the serum onto my ring finger and gently pat the product around my eye area until its absorbed! Afterwards my eye area feels nourished, smooth and it does indeed help with the tired, dark appearance of my eyes!

Lastly I been trying the Retinol Serum, this is a proven anti-ageing powerhouse that delivers higher performance, deeper penetration and extended release to increase the benefits to your skin and improve multiple signs of ageing. I only use this serum once a day at night before going to bed, I massage 1-2 drop of the serum all over my face taking any excess down my neck and then in the morning my skin feels lovely, so smooth, moisturised and supple! I definitely feel like this is a product that will have amazing results over time so I'll have to do an updated review on this one later down the line, but so far so good!
If your after trying out some eco friendly beauty then The Pro Co is definitely one to try, not only are their skincare products vegan and suitable for vegetarians, but they help tackle the continuing environmental issues by creating Eco friendly packaging that contain less than 2% plastic. I also love that all of the serums have pipette style applicators, it makes the products feel and look much more luxurious and expensive in my opinion.

All of the serums are £7.99 each however Amazon have a pretty good promotion on at the moment if you fancy a little pre-Christmas treat - I mean why not, you deserve it - youcan actually get  20% off each serum featured in this post making them just £6.39 each which is such a good, affordable price for skincare!

Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm always on the hunt for a good yet gentle eye makeup remover, I wear quite heavy makeup on my eyeballs such as my glittery shadow and I wont go anywhere without my trusty winged liner on so I need a good remover that is gentle enough to not sting but is strong enough to actually remove my eye makeup with ease, so the new Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Makeup Remover launched at the right time, as I was on the look out for something new to try!
The Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Makeup Remover claims to melt away makeup, even the most stubborn including waterproof mascara without leaving any residue behind and is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive like myself. The remover has a clear, jelly-like formula that provides a trio of benefits - it soothes, cools and reduces the appearance of puffiness around the delicate eye area. And if that wasn't enough it's packed with antioxidants like vitamin C and green tea.
To use the remover I like pop a small amount of the jelly-formula on a mini wash sponge (a cotton wool pad works just as well) and hold it against my eye for a few seconds to really let the remover break down the makeup, I then simply swipe away outwards and voila! This stuff has quickly become my new favourite, I was shocked that the remover didn't sting or irritate my eyes at all, this a major bonus for me because more or less every eye makeup remover I've tried has stung quite badly, but this is super gentle. It also done a really good job at breaking down my makeup and removing it really quickly, it only took a couple of swipes of each eye before all my makeup was removed, and the formula is really refreshing because it feels so cooling - like it's been in the fridge - making it amazing to use in the mornings if your eyes are a little puffy and are in need of a little pick me up!

You can find the new Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Makeup Remover in Boots for £5.00 HERE.

Hey beaut's!

Hands up who's started their Christmas shopping....I finally have! Usually by this time I have most of my Christmas shopping done but I'm quite behind this year, I'm not worrying though as I do have a plan. The most recurring thing that happens when most of us are Christmas shopping is how difficult it is to know what to get everyone, it really is hard isn't it! One thing that I've found to be an absolute winner though is a Christmas hamper! No matter what a Christmas hamper can suit everyone, in fact I think they make the perfect family gift because everyone can tuck in!
Prestige Hampers have absolutely loads of hampers to choose from, whether you want a mix of everything festive, just a cheese hamper, a chocolate hamper, something boozy, vegan, dairy free and even gluten free, they literally have a hamper that anyone and everyone can enjoy which I think is bloody amazing! I went for the Christmas Tradition Hamper* (£54.99) because it's packed to the brim with a great selection of festive food and drink, I'm talking everything from wine to have with your Christmas dinner to yummy chocolate orange biscuits you can leave out for Santa, and theres plenty of festive nibbles that can be put out of the table for everyone to enjoy! All of the yummy treats come beautifully arranged inside a vintage looking Prestige Hampers wooden chest which you can definitely keep and re-use for storage purposes! Personally I think it would make a fab bread bin, I think that's what I'm going to use mine for but obviously the choice is endless!
All of the items included within the hamper are....
Yorkshire Crisps Cheddar and Onion 100g
Luis Felipe Edwards Merlot 37.5 cl
Shortbread House Edinburgh Dark Chocolate and Orange Shortbread 150g
Mrs Bridges Tomato Salsa 100g
Valley Chocolates Milk Chocolate Raisins

Soap & Glory Pout About It Hydrogel Lip Mask Review

Hey beaut's!

It's no secret that I absolutely LOVE Soap & Glory, their bath and body products are always re-purchased by me ( put your hands up if you cant live without a bit of Sugar Crush in your life he he) and when it comes to skincare their sheet masks are my absolute favourites, so when I saw that Soap & Glory had a new mask on the block I was intrigued! This time around forget your face it's all about the pout as they've launched the 'Pout About It' Hydrogel Lip Mask!

I'm totally new to lip masks, yup I've never tried one in my life but my goodness my lips where in need of some TLC, the colder weather always makes my lips dryer than the Sahara desert which is not good if your a lipstick loving gal like myself, so a dose of moisture was well needed!
The 'Pout About It' Hydrogel Lip Mask aims to instantly smooth the lips, reduce lines and deliver a boost of moisturisation for up to 6 hours after use. The mask is also enriched with hyaluronic acid and coconut water which leaves your lips looking fuller, plump and totally instagrammable, of course. To use the mask all you have to do is pull off the backing sheet and then place the 'lip shaped' mask over your pout and sit back and relax for the next 10-20 minutes, it's as simple as that! Whilst the mask was on it was comfortable and it adhered to my lips well and never slipped off which was something I was worried about, but nope - it stayed put! It also has the most beautiful scent of sweet coconut and shea butter, it's divine!
Afterwards I couldn't believe the instant results, my lips felt so nourished and smooth creating the perfect base for any lip product, they also looked slightly fuller and where definitely plumped up slightly because the fine lines I have on my lips really appeared either smoothed out of just plumped out! But it's the moisturisation quality that's impressed me the most, I've never used anything like it that has hydrated my lips so well, it's incredible! If your lips are in need of a moisture boost then you need to give this mask a whirl, it would also be amazing to use before going out to any of those Christmas parties coming up because it really does make a huge difference to how your lips appear!

You can buy the lip mask from Boots for just £3.50 HERE!

Technic Brush Cleaner Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

I think most of us guys and gals hate cleaning our makeup brushes, don't get me wrong I love it when my makeup brushes are all clean and sparkling, but it's the actual lengthy cleaning process that has me rolling my eyes resulting in me always putting it off, so anything that I can find to make that process quicker is a must try for me, so that's what lead me to trying the Technic Brush Cleaner!

The formula of the Technic Brush Cleaner is a clear, hard balm that instantly cleanses and conditions your makeup brushes leaving them with a fresh cucumber fragrance which is just divine! And because the balm is compact into it's packaging it makes it mess free and travel friendly because you don't have remove anything and theres nothing runny inside that could leak out, you just open the lid and your good to go!
To use the balm and get squeaky clean makeup brushes in seconds, yes I mean seconds all you have to do is wet your dirty brush and gently place it into the solid brush cleanser giving it a swirl around until it starts to foam, this will then remove the dirty residue before your eyes super quickly, then rinse your brush under the tap and lay flat to dry. I did notice that I had to repeat the process twice over with my face brushes but I feel like that's because foundation and concealer really gets deep within your brushes, my eye makeup brushes where a doddle to clean though! Once you've finished cleaning your brushes you will notice that the top of the balm will be slightly grubby and will probably have some makeup residue left on it, so all you have to do is just run the balm under cool water and pat dry with kitchen towel and the the balm will look like new again.
I must admit these type of makeup brush cleaners are my absolute favourite because their just so quick and easy to use, I have one by Makeup Revolution that I also love but Technics offering is cheaper at just £3.99 which is an absolute steal for something that is actually very good! I think the balm type cleaner is a must try for anyone who hates the job of cleaning their brushes as much as I do because honestly this really does speed the job up! I've also tested this out with my beauty blender and it worked really well with that too, I swirled my beauty blender around on the balm a few times and rinsed then repeated the process a couple of times and then my blender was good as new!

You can find the Technic Brush Cleaner for £3.99 HERE.

Morning Glamour Satin Pillowcase Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm definitely one of those gals that wakes up in the morning with bed hair that leaves me resembling Hagrid or the popular birds nest (lol), but who knew switching up your pillow case to a satin one could be the secret, yup not only can the satin pillowcase help your hair and prevent damage but the pillowcases can help out your skin too.
Morning Glamour have a wide range of satin pillowcases in various different colours and are available in single and double sets. The satin pillowcases have so many benefits, they act as a barrier to friction as you toss and turn during the night, preventing damage, breakage and ultimately bedhead - or in my case the Hagrid doo! Whether you have straight, curly or wavy hair, your locks will be less susceptible to hair loss and frizz. As I said before as well as your hair the Morning Glamour Satin Pillowcases benefit your skin too, because the pillowcases have a non-absorbent surface, they maximise the benefits of your nightly skincare routine by allowing your skin to really soak up your products rather than them being swiped off, what a brucie bonus!
After giving the pillowcase a whirl I've definitely noticed I no longer wake up with those annoying crease marks on my cheeks from my regular pillowcases, I also used to wake up some mornings with a few strands of hair on my pillowcase but that has not happened once with this satin pillowcase. I also find my hair much easier to brush first thing in the morning and it doesn't seem as knotty at all really, and I always suffer with static hair and again I've had no trouble with that either since switching to the satin pillowcase. Hair and skin aside the pillowcase itself is so lovely to sleep on, it's super soft and feels lovely against my skin and it feels quite luxurious and expensive too! I totally recommend!

You can find the Morning Glamour Satin Pillowcase HERE for £12.99.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte Candle By Kiss Air Candles

Hey beaut's!

It's officially my favourite time of the year again... Autumn!! Yayyyyyy! As you can probably tell I get stupidly exciting for this time of year, I just love the cold crisp days, autumn leaves, hot chocolates, knitwear, boots, pumpkin carving and of course spicy/warming candles, which brings me nicely onto the candle I've been burning away recently by Kiss Air Candles, I think your going to love this one ladies and gents!

Kiss Air Candles literally sell everything that will make your house smell incredible, theres wax melts, wax burners, tea lights, candles and reed defusers with so many scents to choose from. What I love about Kiss Air Candles is that all of their candles are made in small batches using natural soyabean (vegetable) wax, cotton wicks and the finest fragrances that are all vegan friendly as well as paraben and phthalate free. These raw materials work together to give the candles a cleaner burn (no soot here!), fabulous scent throw and an impressive burn time.
I've been giving Kiss Airs Pumpkin Spice Latte candle a whirl and if your looking for something autumnal then look no further as this candle smells of all things autumnal in a jar! The fragrance itself is made up of a creamy, spicy mix of nutmeg and ginger with pumpkin and caramel on a sweet buttermilk base.....honestly it smells good enough to eat, just like an autumnal cake or sweet treat, it's divine! For me this scent has the perfect balance of sugary sweetness and warming spiciness, it creates such a cosy night in atmosphere too, so it's perfect for those Hocus Pocus evenings! As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, but it isn't an over powering scent or sickly which is good! The candle has 35 hour worth of burn time which is pretty good for a smaller sized candle, and I love the fact it comes in a glass jar with a black screw lid so you can re-use it after your candle is burnt out!

If your looking for some new candles this autumn then I cant recommend Kiss Air Candles enough, they have an entire autumn range out at the moment and the Toffee Apple scent is next on my wish list, I mean doesn't that just sound lush!

You can buy the Pumpkin Spiced Latte Candle HERE for £9.00.

Yankee Candle Sweet Maple Chai Review

Hey beaut's!

It was my birthday back at the end of August and my bestie Kate - who knows I'm an absolute candle addict - treated me to the Sweet Maple Chai Yankee Candle and I love it so much that I just had to share my thoughts on it with you all today!

Sweet Maple Chai is part of Yankee Candles Farmer's Market collection, this collection consists of nine scents all inspired by seasonal flavours and autumnal colours, perfect for this autumn loving gal! Sweet Maple Chai  is described as 'an overflowing mug of chai-spiced milk and maple syrup swirled to creamy perfection' and wowza this candle smells good enough to eat or should I say drink! The candle itself definitely has a super autumnal feel with top notes of cinnamon and clove, middle notes of roasted pecans, cardamom and latte accord and base notes of maple, butterscotch and sugar. For me this scent has the perfect balance of sugary sweetness and warming spiciness, and theres an ever so slight woody fragrance too which I think comes from those roasted pecans, it's honestly divine! As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, but it isn't an over powering scent or sickly which is good!
All of the Yankee Candle large jars have a burn time of between 110 – 150 hours and Sweet Maple Chai is certainly lasting me well! If your really into your autumnal, cosy scents as well as your foodie sweet scents then you will definitely need to give this one a whirl, I'm also super interested in quite a few of the other scents in the Farmer's Market Collection!

You can find the Sweet Maple Chai Yankee Candle for £23.99 on the Yankee Candle website.

Yankee Candle Spiced Apple Review - 50th Anniversary Re-Launch!

Hey beauts'!

It still blows my mind that Yankee Candle have been around since the Christmas of 1969!! I mean who knew that...I certainly didn't! So to celebrate the momentous milestone and Yankee Candle's 50th Anniversary they are re-launching some popular classics from back in the day! They actually done this a couple of months back as I reviewed the classic Lily Of The Valley scent, however as these anniversary candles are limited edition Lily Of The Valley is no longer available on the Yankee Candle website so I cant stress enough that if you want a limited edition candle get it now before they all go!
The new re-launch of the Returning Classics range consists of four gorgeous large jars from the 70's, and seeing as we are now in September and I'm officially aloud to get excited about all things autumnal I just had to try Spiced Apple! Spiced Apple is described as 'Our family recipe for apples seasoned with flavourful spices is brimming with down-home appeal' and wowza this candle smells good enough to eat! The candle itself has top notes of cinnamon sugar, cardamom and apple peels, middle notes of juicy macintosh, nutmeg, toffee, pecan and golden pear and base notes of clove and vanilla spice, making it essentially autumn in a candle. It's honestly a mouth-watering scent which is caramel-y sweet but not sickly because the spices really balance it out! I love the rich red colour of the wax too, it adds to that cosy, warm feeling that this candle has. As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, but it isn't an over powering scent which is good, and everyone that walks into my house loves the scent and instantly asks me what candle I'm burning which is always a good indication of a bloody good candle isn't it!

All of the Yankee Candle large jars have a burn time of between 110 – 150 hours and Spiced Apple is certainly lasting me well! If your really into your autumnal, cosy scents like I am then you definitely need to get Spiced Apple, it's got such a spiced toffee-apple element about it which is honestly divine, I cant get enough of this one and feel like I'm definitely going to have to stock up.

You can find the Spiced Apple Yankee Candle for £23.99 on the Yankee Candle website.

The Brow Duo I'm Currently Loving!

Hey beaut's!

I absolutely love doing my brows these days, it's strange really because I used to hate doing my brows and would rarely do anything with them but now I find it so satisfying getting them perfect and on point, no makeup look is complete without a pair of gorgeous brows after all is it!

Although I do love the look of a perfect pair of brows I'm much more into the fluffy, natural look and this little duo from Technic Cosmetics have been perfect for that! The Technic Arch Envy (£3.50) is great for adding in definition, it has this amazing 'three hair stroke tip' making it so easy to add hair-like strokes which look super natural, it really gives the illusion of thicker brows! The staying power is amazing too, I never have any problems with fading and when I swatched this on my hand it took ages for me to wash it off, all day in-fact! The only negative I have to say about this brow definer is that I've used it up so quickly, so I don't think you get that much product inside, but aside from that I love it!

The Technic Clear Brow Gel (£4.00) is the secret to getting your brows fluffy, the small wand grabs every little hair and sets it in place all day long, if you want textured fluffy brows always brush the product upwards which is what I do to the start and middle of my brows, obviously you don't just have to use this gel to make your brows fluffy, it does indeed set your brows and the product you have used in your brows in place. What I love about this particular brow gel is that it doesn't set hard or go crispy/flaky, it's very natural feeling which is must for me when I look for a brow gel.

If your looking for some new products for your brows that wont break the bank then I really cant recommend these enough, especially that brow gel, it's quickly become my new favourite!

You can find all the Technic Cosmetics brow products HERE!
