November Beauty Wishlist!

November Beauty Wishlist!

Hey beaut's!

I cant quite believe it's November already, where did October go?? Hehe. I'm kicking things off this month with a good ole beauty wishlist and to be honest I'm pretty sure oen or two of these things will end on my Christmas list too ( a huge woooo yeahhhh for Christmas getting ever closer).... Anyway lets get right into it...

Zoella Soak Opera-Bath Soak/Shower Cream £5.00
I'm yet to own any of the Zoella beauty range, don't get me wrong I absolutely love the look of the collection but I wanted to wait and read some reviews first before I treating myself and the Soak Opera sounds right up my street and I love something that has more than  one use so I definitely want to pick this up soon.

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 £22.00
Like most, I'm a huge fan of Urban Decay's Naked makeup range and their new Naked Basics 2 Eyeshadow Palette has to be mine. I use the original Naked Basics palette constantly as the shades are so wearable and the quality is incredible so I'm pretty sure the Naked Basics 2 will be just as amazing and if not better.

Mac Pro Longwear Concealer £17.00
The Mac Pro Longwear Concealer has been on my wishlist for months, I want it soooo bad but it's always out of stock in my shade when I go to my local MAC counter and I don't really want to order it online as I want to swatch it and see it first, hopefully it will be in stock during my next shopping trip.

Beauty Blender Classic Makeup Sponge £15.20
I have the Real Techniques Multi Complexion Sponge which I love and use constantly but it's starting to look very battered and bruised now, so I think instead of repurchasing it again I'm going to splurge and try the original Beauty Blender, Ive heard such amazing things about it so I definitely need to try it.

Sleek MakeUP Eye Cheek Palette in See You At Midnight £9.99
Sleek is one of my favourite drug store brands and when I saw that they recently released some new little palettes I knew I would be lusting after one and the See You At Midnight Palette has certainly caught my eye, I mean just look how pretty it is....swoon!!!

Tanya Burr Bambi Eyes False Lashes £5.49
Tanya Burr is an absolute queen isn't she, I just love her! I'm a huge fan of her lips and nails collection and she has recently extended her range and released 5 pairs of gorgeous false lashes, as much as I want them all I want to try the Bambi ones first (obviously because I'm a huge Disney fan and love Bambi the film) he he.

Zoella Fizz Bar £5.00
Something else I would love to try from Zoella's beauty range is her Fizz Bar, I love my baths during the Autumn/Winter months so this Fizz Bar would go down an absolute treat with me.

Barry M Limited Edition Nail Paint in Christmas Tree £3.99
Barry M have recently treated us to the launch of two new limited edition glitter nail paints perfect for the up and coming festivities, I recently picked up Jingle Bells (NOTD HERE) but Christmas Tree wasn't in stock so I definitely want to get it when it comes back in.

Lauren Conrad Beauty Book £11.99
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a major girl crush on Lauren Conrad, isn't she a beauty!!! Her new book 'Beauty' has recently launched this Autumn and I want it, need it , have to have it ha ha.

And there you have it, my November beauty wishlist! I'd love to know if you have or have tried any of the items within my wislist and if you think they are definate must haves hehe, let me know beaut's!

NOTD | Barry M Duo I'm Loving!

Hey beaut's!

I recently realised that its been such a long time since I done a NOTD post, so today I thought I'd jump back on the NOTD bandwagon and share some love of two nail polishes that I've been addicted to wearing recently, so say hello to Barry M's Silk Poppy (£2.99) and Jingle Bells (£3.99)....
Firstly can we just appreciate how pretty these two polishes are, I love them!!! Poppy is from Barry M's new Autumn/Winter Silk Collection and is a gorgeous deep burgundy shade that has a slight duo chrome/shimmery silk look to it, it one of my all time favourite Autumn/Winter shades and reminds me so much of mulled wine he he. Jingle Bells just screams Christmas and everything festive to me and I just couldn't wait to use it, it has a clear top coat base and contains so many pretty sparkles that are suspended within it, theres little gold stars, gold hex glitters, red glitter flakes, gold flakes, minute gold glitters its just crammed full and I love it!
The Silk Poppy shade applies effortlessly, the formula is really smooth so theres no bubbling or streaking during application and it drys super quick leaving you with that silk-matte finish. Jingle Bells was alot easier to apply than I first thought, usually glitter polishes that contain large glitters never apply well because it's hard to get the glitters even but because Jingle Bells is literally crammed full of glitter it seems to go on well, however I did find myself having to dab the little stars on with the end of the brush because the brush strokes seem to take the stars back off annoyingly.
I did finish my nails off with my Beauty UK 5 in 1 Top Coat for that extra glossy look, as much as I do like the silk-matte finish I do love a glossy nail more so this time around I used a top coat, I would also suggest making sure you always use a top coat over Jingle Bells as some of the glitters don't lay completely flat on the nail so it best to just seal them in with a top coat so they don't chip off.

Overall I love this little Barry M duo, Poppy is the perfect Autumn/Winter shade and teamed with Jingle Bells it looks super pretty. They are such versatile shades to and can be used casual for the daytime, for evenings out and they will work perfectly for any Christmas parties that are fast approaching.

Have you picked up any of the Barry M Autumn/Winter shades yet beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

Mini Lush Haul

Hey beaut's!

It's that time of the year again where I ditch the quick showers and start enjoying long, hot relaxing baths so of course that meant that I needed to take a trip to Lush and treat myself to a couple of bath bombs. I got sooo excited when I walked into Lush, I honestly didn't know what to look at first because all of the Halloween and Christmas goodies are in at the moment, everything  just looks so amazing he he. I ended up picking 4 little goodies for now but I intend on getting more Lush treats over the next couple of months so watch out for more hauls beaut's haha.

So here's the irresistibly cute, sweet smelling treats I picked up...

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar £2.75
Candy Mountain is one of my all time favourites and I end up buying loads of them over the Christmas period, it's Snow Fairy inspired scent will fill your bathroom and will make you think your in sweet shop, its so nice and if that wasn't nice enough it then turns your bath water baby pink, cute!!! I can usually get around three baths out of the Candy mountain bubble bar, I break the top off for one bath then break the base into two for two more baths he he.

Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb £3.50
How amazing does the Luxury Lush Pud look, I've actually used this up already because I was just too eager and excited haha, when you first pop the Lush Pud into the bath it fizzes away and creates a rainbow effect with lots of different colours swirling around the water, as the bath bomb begins to settle and stop fizzing it soon turns your bath water the shade of ribeana which is always fun haha. The Lush Pud actually shares its fragrance with the Twilight bath bomb (which I absolutely love), the comforting tonka absolute, ylang ylang, and relaxing lavender oils will help banish tension, calm you and help you unwind!

Northern Lights Bath Bomb £3.50
I believe Northern Lights is a new bath bomb this year created for Halloween, it's said to turn your bath water purple, blue and neon green and also releases tiny little stars that will float around the tub making your bath resemble a nights sky which sounds pretty amazing doesn't it! It's calming jasmine and ylang ylang-scented so it will be the perfect bath bomb to use when you want to relax, I shall be breaking this in half so I can get two relaxing baths out of it he he.

Butterbear Bath Bomb £1.95
How cute is this little bear, he's so adorable that I don't want to use him up! This sweet smelling bear contains cocoa butter which will create a creamy soft bath and is perfect for dryer skin types like myself who want some extra nourishment and a moisture boost throughout the cold winter months.

And there you have it beaut's, I know it is only a mini haul but I thought I'd share my goodies as they are all from the limited edition ranges and I thought you might enjoy hearing abit of information about them and of course seeing what they all look like he he.

Have you bought anything from the Lush Halloween or Christmas collection yet?? I'd love to know what you recoomend beaut's!

NEW Makeup Revolution The One Blush Sticks

 Hey beaut's!

It's fair to say Makeup Revolution are on 'new release' fire at the moment, they just seem to be releasing new and exciting makeup constantly and I'm pretty sure that I'm not alone in saying that I'm loving it! This time around we have a collection of 8 new products to get stupidly excited about, yup Makeup Revolution have done it again and got me addicted to their NEW 'The One Blush Sticks'.
The all new 'The One Blush Sticks'* (£5.00 each) by Makeup Revolution are designed for multiple use across your Cheeks and Lips and can be used dry for hi-intensity colour payoff or wet for a smooth sheer finish. There are 8 of 'The One Blush Sticks'* to choose from, 4 of which are matte and the other 4 are shimmers, I personally love how they've created the same shades but in the two finishes, I don't know about you but I often find myself liking a particular shade in something but wishing it was a matte finish instead of a shimmer or vise versa so I'm very happy that Makeup Revolution have chosen to do that.
The packaging of 'The One Blush Sticks' I really do favour, they look like large lipstick tubes and turn up from the bottom just like lipsticks do, to define the matte finishes to the shimmers finishes Makeup Revolution have actually matched the packaging to the finish, so the shimmer finish blushes have glossy packaging where as the matte finish blushes have matte packaging which I think is a really good idea, however I do wish they had the shade names on them as the shades names only appear on the outta cardboard box. I know alot of you will be thinking that 'The One Blush Sticks' look very much like the popular Nars Multiples, but having never tried or owned one I'm not going to be able to tell you whether these are a dupe or not, however there is definitely potential!
The formula of all these blush sticks is lovely and creamy, easy to work with and the pigmentation is amazing, trust me when I say a little goes a long way with these. I love how you have plenty of blending time with all of these blush sticks, they don't dry/set quickly which I prefer as it gives you time to blend blend blend and get your blush/bronzer completely even and exactly how you want it.

The shade range of 'The One Blush Sticks' collection is really lovely, I've have gone into more detail below for you all...
Matte Dream is a girlie, baby pink shade, great if you want a subtle blush look that day and it's perfect for paler skin tones too.
Matte Pink is very similar to the shimmer pink, but because of its matte formula it's darker in pigmentation and more vibrant on the cheeks.
Matte Rush is a bright coral-orange shade full of pigmentation.
Matte Malibu is perfect for cream contouring because it lays/blends perfectly on the skin without any shimmers running through it.
Dream is a sheer baby pink shade that's perfect to use as a cream highlighter, it gives the same affect as Benefits High Beam would give which I love.
Pink is great for creating those pretty pink cheeks and is perfect for everyday wear.
Rush is a beautiful yet subtle coral shade that contains lots of finely milled gold shimmers, I could see this looking beautiful in the Spring/Summer months.

Malibu is a cream bronzer shade and again has some finely milled gold shimmers running through it to give you that Summer glow.

Overall I absolutely love this new release from Makeup Revolution, is their anything they cant do he he, It really is hard to believe that Makeup Revolution only launched six months ago, I feel like I've been loving their makeup for years not months he he.

Have you trued any of these Blush Sticks beaut's?? Which one is your favourite?? I'd love to know.

Autumnal Walks | The Footwear

Hey beaut's!

It's finally my favourite time of the year... Autumn/Winter!! Yayyyyyy! As you can probably tell I get stupidly exciting for this time of year I just love the cold crisp days, autumn leaves, long walks with my pooch and of course snug booties he he. So today I thought I'd share with you all my new favourite go to Autumn/Winter boots that will keep your tootsies warm and cosy whilst looking super cool and snazzy he he, so say hello to the gorgeous Serena Boots from Dr Martens.
Aren't they just amazing! I'm in total love! These Serena Boots* by Dr Martens (£109.95) are from a website called Shoetique. Shoetique are an independent footwear retailer based in Hale, Cheshire, just on the outskirts of Manchester. They have over 30 years worth of experience in the footwear trade and pride their selves on bringing their customers high quality shoes, that are all hand-picked from their approved suppliers. That way they make sure every pair of Shoetique shoes are comfortable, durable....and look great! The website literally has hundreds of shoes and boots to choose from ranging from woman's, men's and kids with many brands to pick from too, there's certainly something on there for everyone that's for sure. I absolutely love Shoetique's concept, it just saves so time scouring trough loads of different websites or shops to find the perfect pair of shoes or boots for you when Shoetique have it all in one place.
As I said before I have the Serena Boots by Dr Martens from the Shoetique website, what I love about these Serena Boots is that they are classic, timeless, great for any casual occasions and go with most outfits. They're perfect to wear with skirts and tights, dresses and most types jeans, you can either wear them really loose and quite grungy looking like I do ( I like the 'just thrown on' look ) or you can lace them up too, the choice is yours. The Serena boots are definitely made for those colder, more blustery days where your tootsies want to be kept extra toastie and the faux sheep's wool warm lining certainly does that, they are so snug and warm arhhhh. The boots themselves are made so well with premium black leather which is so soft and have the classic Dr Martens yellow stitching around the hard rubber sole. As for wear... They are super comfortable, I was slightly worried as I know Dr Martens have a tendency to take a while to wear in but I'm pretty sure that because these have the faux wool lining inside it gives them extra comfort and I didn't have to wear mine in at all.
Overall I absolutely love these boots, I just love the fact that they are so versatile and can literally be worn with any outfit, they are really comfortable and very warm, extremely well made and I know they are going to last me years. So if your looking for a good pair of boots for the Autumn/Winter months I would highly recoomend these, they also come in a Tan colour too.

Do you have a pair of Dr Martens beaut's?? How do you style yours?? I'd love to know!!

It has also helped me to deal with my illness a lot, being bed-bound for days on end can get very boring & lonely! Although I haven’t been blogging for long, I absolutely love it! I hope if you pop by you enjoy reading my posts as much as I enjoy writing them! x

Hi! My name is Michelle, I’m 30 year old girl living near Norwich. I have an office job, a husband and a lovely little boy called Freddy. Beauty UK Halloween Makeup Must Haves!

Hey beaut's!

If you’re off to a party this Halloween or just looking to add a smoky element to your makeup look, then take a look at these makeup must haves by one of my favourite, budget, high street makeup brands Beauty UKLooking great this Halloween doesn’t have to cost a fortune as Beauty UK's makeup ranges from £2.99 to £5.99 and the great thing is, all of the products that I'm featuring in today's post can be used again and not just for Halloween, woohoo! So if you want to achieve a dark but dangerous look this Halloween and don't want to spend a fortune then check out some of these beauties....

Beauty UK Lipstick in Naughty* and Darkness* £3.49 each
Both of lipstick these shades would be perfect for Halloween, whether your going for a vampy, bright red lip or something more traditional, dark and scary looking then Beauty UK have got it covered. Both Naughty and Darkness apply beautifully, they are so creamy and super moisturising and feel very comfortable on the lips, they are both packed full of pigmentation and last on the lips hours, they are the kind of lippies that once the moisturising layer has worn off your left with a stain of colour on your lips that's gives the illusion that your still wearing lipstick which is always great!

Beauty UK Posh Palette in Galaxy £5.99
I've actually featured this Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette on my blog before (review HERE) but I just had to add it in this post as I think the shades and finishes are perfect for those Halloween smokey eyes, you could achieve countless amounts of fancy dress looks with the shades within this palette all for a small £5.99, that's about 59p per eyeshadow, BARGAIN!

Beauty UK Glacier Gloss in Plum & Have a Go* £2.99
The Glacier Glosses are quite new to Beauty UK  and promise a high impact shine and intense colour payoff and their certainly not wrong as I blooming love this gloss. Plum and Have a Go is the darkest of the 10 shades available but you could certainly get away with wearing it for everyday use during the Halloween period, in fact I'd wear it all year round however if you aren't so brave with brighter, more intense shades for everyday use this gloss would be great for nights out too.

Beauty UK NAILS Nail Polish in Black Out* £2.99
It wouldn't be a true Halloween makeup post without a classic black nail polish would it he he. Again I have featured Beauty UK's new 'Nails' Nail Polishes quite heavily on my blog before because the formula of them is simply amazing, it's just so lovely and very easy to work with, it applies smooth with no bubbling or streaking what so ever and is slightly thicker that some other nail polishes I've tried, which I automatically like because I find thicker nail polishes seem to last so well. As you can see form the swatches the Black Out shade really is full on Black and isn't dull or grey looking in the slightest. The finish of the Beauty UK nail polishes really reminds me of a gel like finish, it's lovely and glossy and feels very hard wearing just like a gel polish would, arrrhh I just love this formula, it's so amazing and really replicates high end quality.

Beauty UK 5 in 1 Base & Top Coat* £3.99
No matter what nail polish you wear you should always start with a good base coat and when using Black nail polish in particular this is an absolute essential because staining can be terrible, I'd highly recommend this 5 in 1 Base & Top Coat by Beauty UK because just like the nail polishes the formula is amazing! The Base & Top Coat is enriched with 5 different vitamins and 5 plant extracts which are proven to improve your nails conditions, not only is this a smoothing base coat and an extremely  glossy top coat but it also moisturises and hydrates, contains an advanced strengthener and has an anti-brittle treatment so overall it really works wonders for your nails and I absolutely love it!

There you have it beaut's, just a few makeup items from Beauty UK that I've been road tested and that I think are great to incorporate during the Halloween season! I also found a cheeky discount code that Beauty UK seem to be offering at the moment, you can get 25% off all products on their website using the code TrickorTreat14 at checkout (expires 31st October 2014), so if everything wasn't cheap enough now you can get save a few more pennies, whoop he he!

Have you tried any makeup by Beauty UK that you think would be great for Halloween?? I'd love to know beaut's!
