Mavala Pacific Dream Collection

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently I contacted by the lovely people from Mavala asking if id like to review their Pacific Dream Nail Polish Collection, i was super excited about this as I've tried Mavala nail polish before and loved it so i was excited to try some more of their gorgeous nail polish shades.

The Pacific Dream Collection consists of 6 gorgeous 5ml nail polishes from nudes to brights, they are... Cool Silver, a pretty neutral silver shade with a nice oyster style sheen to it. Funny Coral, a bright coral shade with pinky undertones. Pacific Blue, a turquoise teal shade. Pretty Fuchsia is one of my favourites out of this collection, its a pink/purple shade with a slight shimmery sheen to it, perfect for any girly girl. Slick Opal, the perfect lilac pastel shade which would look great against a tan, and finally Smart Pink, this is the most gorgeous peachy/pink shade I've ever seen and has an ever so slight shimmer sheen to it.

All the shades in this collection are perfect Summer shades and being as they are cute 5ml bottles it makes them great for travel when your jetting off on your holidays, i also think some of these shades would be great to brighten things up in the cooler autumn/winter months too. I also love the fact that the Mavala nail polishes are all free from parabens, formaldehydes, toluene, camphore, cellophane, animal ingredient and heavy metals, something that's a major plus for me.

I found all the shades in the Pacific Dream Collection applied super easy and even and needed 2 coats to be completely opaque, they also dried rather quick taking around 5 minutes. As for lasting power...The polish lasted on my nails around 3-4 days before there was some noticeable chipping but i never used a top coat so I'm just basing this on the two coats of polish applied, I'm sure with a top i would of got longer wear.

You can pick these little beauty's up in John Lewis and Debenhams for £4.50 each!!!

Have you tried any of their Summer collections??? What did you think girlie's???

Barry M Glitter Nail Paints | Review & Swatches

As you may or may not know I'm a huge glitter polish fan, anything that sparkles I'm instantly drawn too and i usually have to buy, so i decided to pick 2 more little beauties up. I know these Glitter Jewel Nail Paints have been out for sometime and i do own a few from the collection but i thought 2 more wouldn't hurt he he.

Pink Sapphire is great for all those girlie girls out there that love abit of bright pink sparkle.
Its a clear base with minute bright pink glitter flecks in, the bigger glitter particles come in 2 shapes, hexagons and small chunks of bar type glitter.

The colours of all the glitters inside are so pretty, the small bars of glitter tend to be sliver and holographic and the hexagons are a bright pink with the odd hexagon that's silver and holographic too.

This makes a beautiful top coat for so many shades or even if you wanted to play it safe you could just go for a glittery ring finger instead.

Rose Quartz is absolutely crammed full of glitter and great if you want a burst of glitter on the nails. Rose Quartz is a clear base polish with minute holographic flecks and is also crammed with rose pink hexagon glitters inside.

I would use 1 coat as a more full on glitter top coat as there's so much glitter inside this polish  but 2 coats could give you complete sparkle mania nails.

On a whole I'm really impressed with these and they look so pretty. I brought mine from Superdrug for £2.99, what a bargain for such beautiful glitter polishes.

Have you tried any of these?? What did you think??

Sinful Colors Nail Polish Review ♥

Hey girlie's!!! Around a week ago whilst out shopping and having my usual nosey around in Boots i came across a large stand of pretty nail polishes from the company Sinful Colors, i was immediately in Nail polish heaven and even better was the bargainous price of just £1.99, yup that's right £1.99. The range has everything from creams, metallics and glitters so there's something for everyone, i also immediately thought the bottles looked just like the China Glaze bottles which i think is nice and in my mind it makes them feel more luxurious (weird i know) he he.

I decided to try 2 colours this time as being new to the brand i wasn't sure if id like how they wear on the nails or how they apply etc, after giving these 2 a whirl i have to say i love the brand and can see myself getting quite a collection of these polishes.

Both the polishes applied really well, i found the formula to be quite thin and slightly like some of the Models Own nail polishes I've tried before, i did find that the brush picked up alot of polish so i had to make sure i wiped he excess off on the rim otherwise things could of got messy. The shape of the brush was easy to work with and after i applied 2 coats i found they dried nice and opaque and even, i never experienced any streaking or loss of brush bristles whilst applying either.

The lasting power was fab, they both lasted around the 4 day mark before they started chipping which was longer than i expected, i did use a base coat and top coat so that might of helped them to last slightly longer.

GoGo Girl 15ml
GoGo Girl is a red cream polish with no shimmer running through it all, i used to coats on my nail in this picture to create a nice opaque finish. I think this shade would be great for nights out and looks super cute on toes too.

 Island Coral 15ml
Island Coral is a orangey pink shade which i think is great for spring/summer and i can see this shade looking fab with a tan and when on holiday. Its completely creamy with no shimmer or glitter running through it at all and takes 2 coats for a nice opaque finish.

As far as I'm aware these are only available in Boots at the moment in the UK.

Have your tried any nail polishes from the Sinful Colors range?? What did you think??
