Magnitone WipeOut! SuperNaturals 100% Bamboo Cleansing Cloths

Hey beaut's!

For as long as I can remember I've been removing my makeup with some kind of cloth whether it be a muslin cloth or flannel, but I had no idea Magnitone had their very own WipeOut Cleansing Cloths! They've recently given their WipeOut cloths an eco friendly face lift by launching their Bamboo Cleansing Cloth in their Super Naturals range and I couldn't wait to give it a try!

The Magnitone Bamboo Cleansing Cloths* come in a packet of two in a bang on trend pale grey colour, the cloths have been designed to remove even the toughest, long-wear and oil-based makeup with JUST WARM WATER! Unlike traditional wipes or face cloths, the WipeOut cleansing clothes micro fibres swell up when wet, grabbing hold of makeup particles and pulling them away, meaning makeup is removed, smear free. The cloths are now made from 100% Bamboo, meaning their all natural and eco friendly which is amazing, and great for those with all skin types but especially sensitive skin like myself! I also cant get over how soft these cloths are, they honestly feel so snugly and fluffy like a teddy bear or something, their a treat to use! The WipeOut! cloths are also re-useable 1000 times and machine washable at 30°C so their really going to be a money saver in the long run, and most importantly their helping out the environment which is something we all need to do.
Now I'm not going to lie I was quite sceptical about these cleansing cloths to begin with, I didn't really think I'd get a good cleanse without using an actual cleanser but you know what...some kind of Magnitone magic happens and these cloths actually do remove my makeup with just water, even my eye makeup and lippie! You do have to work a little bit harder to remove every trace makeup when using the clothes with water alone but it does do the trick - it even got off some glitter liner I had on, however I do still like the skincare benefits a cleanser has so I often use the WipeOut! clothes with my cleanser which literally takes a matter of seconds to get all my makeup off! On lighter makeup days though - using just the warm water the makeup comes off in one or two quick and easy swipes!
Overall I think these are an amazing idea and anything that's going to save me money in the long run and help out the environment I'm all about! Their also perfect for travelling as well as they take up no room in your case and you don't need to worry about taking cleansing liquids with you!

The Magnitone WipeOut! SuperNaturals 100% Bamboo Cleansing Cloths are £20.00 and available HERE.

Soap & Glory's Haircare Range!

Hey beaut's!

Soap and Glory have recently delved into the depths of all things hair, yup they now have shampoo's, conditioner's, a styling oil, leave in conditioner...the lot! Being the HUGE Soap & Glory lover that I am I couldn't wait to try some of the haircare range out for myself and get that classic pink scent running through my locks, I already LOVE their dry shampoo so I had very high hopes for the rest of the collection!
The first thing I gave a whirl was their JUNK THE GUNK Charcoal Scalp Exfoliating Shampoo £7.50, this is the perfect shampoo to use if you get a lot of product build up in your hair and you want your hair ultra-cleansed! Now I'm not going to lie it's quite strange using this shampoo at first, to begin with the formula of the shampoo itself is black which I've never seen before in a shampoo, I don't know if it's because I've been living under and rock or if this whole charcoal shampoo is a new thing but yeah - I was quite surprised when I first squirted it out of the tube! Also because it's an exfoliating shampoo it contains apricot seed exfoliators which feel much like a body scrub but for your hair, which again felt so strange lathered up with lots of scrubby bit's within my hair! What I will say is that this shampoo does exactly what it says on the tin (or tube lol), it breaks down that build up, banishes impurities and refreshes the scalp leaving my hair feeling amazing and smelling so good! The only negative I have is that if you have long, thick hair like me it does takes a while to completely rinse the scrubby bit's out, other than that it's amazing!

Obviously after the shampoo I needed to follow up with a conditioner so I slathered on the WONDITIONER Intensive Conditioning Pink Clay Hair Mask £9.00, this is enriched with mineral-rich pink clay, shea, cocoa butter AND argan oil which deeply conditions and revitalises your hair, and it has that famous Soap & Glory pink scent running through it so your hair is left smelling absolutely glorious, honestly I was swishing my hair around all day after using this, it's so lush! Because this is more of a hair mask you leave it on for around 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly to get ultimate conditioning results, if like me you want to use it as a conditioner as well as a mask then just leave it on for a minute or two instead of a good 5 mins, it leaves my hair so soft, shiny with no dryness in sight.
Finally I've been trying out then CONTROL SLEEK  Heat-Activated Smoothing Cream £9.00, this stuff really intrigued me because my everyday hair style is a straight, sleek look so I couldn't wait to put this to the test. To use the smoothing cream you just need to whack a small amount through freshly washed towel dried hair and comb through to the ends, then blow dry your hair until it's completely dry. To really activate the cream, use your straighteners to really smooth and straighten your hair and you will notice it goes super sleek. What I love about this product is that it does not need to be used after each wash, the effect will actually get better the more times you heat activate the hair which is super impressive and means less product wastage. If you have problems with frizzy, unruly hair then I cant recommend this enough, and if your after that sleek, super straight look this product is what you need, it doesn't weigh the hair down either or leave a product film over your hair which is a bonus!

Have you tried any of the Soap & Glory haircare range yet beaut's? What products should I try next? I'd some recommendations!

Barry M's NEW Dual Ended Brow Wand Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

I absolutely love doing my brows these days, I used to hate doing them but now I find it so satisfying getting them perfect and on point, no makeup look is complete without a pair of gorgeous brows after all is it. Recently when I was browsing in Superdrug I saw that Barry M had launched a new brow product called the 'Dual Ended Brow Wand' so I immediately popped it into my basket to try!
The Barry M Dual Ended Brow Wand is available in three standard shades - light, medium and dark, personally for me the three shades just isn't enough, I think Barry M really need to up their game with their shade ranges because their makeup has got so good but the shade range is an epic fail, anyway...I opted for the shade light, I have quite light, cool toned ashy brows so light was the best option for me at the time, however I do find it a little bit on the warm side for me but with the brow gel I can just about get away with it!
Now I love a multi-purpose product so that fact this is dual ended is perfect for me, at one end you get your brow pencil to shape and define your brows and then at the other end you have the tinted brow gel to blend and tame stray brow hairs keeping them set in place all day! The brow pencil itself has a teardrop shaped tip making the application process super easy because it's always on a slanted angle, so I use the pencil on it's side with broad strokes to fill in my brows and use the pointed tip of the teardrop to add in individual brow hairs or for precise shaping if needed. The formula and texture of the pencil is lovely, it's well pigmented, waxy but not dry or too creamy and blends easily with a spoolie before it sets, I do find the shade of the pencil lighter and warmer than the brow gel but like I said before it all matches once the gel has been slicked through my brows.
The tinted brow gel I love, in fact I'd say I like it more than the pencil but I've always been a sucker for a good brow gel! The little brush really does coat and grab every brow hair and I can even get away with just using the gel if I'm in a rush or want a slightly more natural look. You can also achieve really fluffy brows as well if that's your thang!!! The formula of the gel is really lovely, it's well pigmented, has great hold without being crispy and it's long lasting! If your looking for something new to try from the high street for your brows I do think this is a good product to try - especially the gel, the only downside is the shade range as their definitely isn't a shade to suit all brows that's for sure!
Have you tried this yet beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

Barry M Dual Ended Brow Wand can be found in Superdrug and Boots for £5.99.

New In From Essence Cosmetics!

Hey beaut's!

If you've been reading my blog for a while now you'll know that I'm a bit of a Essence Cosmetics addict, I absolutely love their products because not only are they all so affordable but the quality is actually very good too - I literally cant get enough of their lip products and nail polishes, their so so good! Anyway...recently Essence launched some fab new bit's for Spring/Summer and I've been testing a few out over the last month or so and I'm actually pretty shook!!
Let's start with the Shine Last & Go nail polishes, now as I said before I love the Essence nail polishes but this range has a new quick dry gel formula which is literally to die for, the gel finish gives you that hard wearing, glossy 'salon-esk' finish and the fact their quick drying is heaven for me because I hate waiting for my nail polish to dry! Theres also a whopping 50 shades to choose from which is literally insane, and at £1.60 a bottle you really cant go wrong!
Essence now have a Lip Ritual Collection to keep our pouts looking and feeling fresh, three products within this collection are the Ritual Balms, theres a Nourishing Balm with Rice Oil which nourishes and pampers the lips intensively, a Moisturising Balm with Cherry Blossom Extract which revitalises and provides a huge dose of moisture and theres a Repairing Balm with Ginkgo Leaf Extract which regenerates the lips and makes them feel supple. My favourite is the Moisturising Balm because it makes my lips look and feel so juicy, it smells lush and it's pink which is always a winner for me, and at £2.00 they really are a bargain!

I'm a sucker for eyeshadow palettes so I was so excited when I saw Essence had some new ones I could play with. The City of Palettes collection features four stunning eyeshadow palettes which are just £7.00 each, I have the G'Day Sydney Palette which contains nine warm toned shades with a pop of blue and green thrown in for good measure and the Hello New York Palette which again contains nine shades but this one has more cool-toned shades to play with! Both eyeshadow palettes have a mixture of matte and shimmer shades, the pigmentation is good for budget eyeshadow palettes, but I will say some shade do need a bit of building up but overall I really like them!
Theres also a new face palette called 'Hey Cheeks' (£6.00) which contains 6 shades - theres 1 highlighter, 3 blushes and 2 bronzer's. Now this palette I absolutely love, all 3 of the blushes are gorgeous and blend out beautifully, the matte bronzer is lush and really warms up my pasty face and I actually like to use the glittery bronzer as an eyeshadow - I do love a muilt-use product! The only shade that's a little lack-luster for me is the highlighter, it's quite subtle which is great if you don't like something super bright but I like my highlighter to really glow, that being said I LOVE this palette and it's not left my makeup bag since I got it!
Now you know how much I love a winged liner look so it didn't take me long to put the Essence Dip Eyeliner (£2.50) through it's paces, this one has a super firm tip making it so easy to create precise line and wings with the sharpest flick at the end, arhhh it's amazing! It's super inky black, dries down matte and because it has a waterproof formula it lasts all day long!
The final product I've been putting to the test is the Insta Perfect Liquid Highlighter in the shade Gold Addiction. I love a liquid highlighter because their so versatile, you can use it as a glowy primer before foundation, you can mix it in with your foundation for a dewy finish, you can mix it with body butters or you can just use it as a regular highlighter to make your cheekbones pop!

New Releases From Technic Cosmetics!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while now you will know I'm a HUGE Technic Cosmetics fan, not only is their makeup super affordable but it's really good too. Something else I love about Technic is that their always working on new projects and releasing some amazing new collections and I've been testing out a few brand new products by Technic over the last month or so that I just have to share with you!

Technic Colour Max Face And Eyes Palette In Show Stopper* £6.00
This little palette is perfect if your going off on your holidays or if you like your makeup bag to be quite lightweight, it's a multi-use palette that contains four eyeshadows, a blusher, a highlighter and a bronzer! The four eyeshadows within the palette are all warm toned - super wearable shades for day or night, theres two matte shades and two metallic's which all blend easily with only a little fall out and they look so nice on the eyes around this time of the year! The blush, bronzer and highlighter all work beautifully, their well pigmented and blend with ease and I have to say the highlighter is absolutely blinding, I love it!

Technic Mega Blush Quad* £4.00
Another great little palette if your on your travels or if you like a nice selection of shades all in one place is this little Mega Blush Quad, it contains four all matte shades in different tones of pink to add a nice pinky flush to the cheeks! Again these pick up on the brush well, they blend really easily with very little fall out, they are buildable which I like because if you have an over pigmented blush you can end up looking like a clown and ruining your base makeup but these shades aren't like that at all, and for £4.00 you really cant go wrong,

Technic Shade Adjusting Highlighter Drops* £5.50 + Get Gorgeous Liquid Highlighter in Bloom* £4.50
These little highlighting drops have to be my favourite things, I'm all glowy skin and a few drops of this gorgeous stuff mixed in with my foundation creates the perfect dewy, radiant skin, ahh its lovely! You can also use them alone as a liquid highlighter and at the moment I've been loving mixing them in with my body moisturiser or sun cream to give my body that all over Summer glow! Honestly beaut's if you don't have any liquid highlighter drops in your collection you need some pronto!

Technic Prism Luna Rocks*

The Luna Rocks are a brand new addiction to Technic's popular Prism range, their essentially individual little square rocks of pale lilac, baby pink and white highlighter! They remind me on bronzing pearls my mum used to have when I was little, I used to be totally obsessed with them and now I can get them in highlighter form I'm pretty shook!! To use the Luna Rocks all you have to do is simply swirl a damp or dry brush around the rocks and then go to town on your face and body and get that glow going, these rocks look particularly good dusted on your shoulders and collar bone!

Technic Lip Primer* £4.00
This lip primer is an essential for me, I pop it on my lips whilst I apply my makeup and it preps my lips to perfection ready for me to pop on my chosen lip colour. The primer itself contains aloe vera and vitamin e which really softens and nourishes the lips and creates the perfect canvas for any lip product but especially dryer formula's like liquid lipsticks and matte lippies!

Technic Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powders* £4.50 each

Oh my, I think I've saved the best until last, how frickin' stunning are these highlighters! If you know me you'll know I'm not happy unless I am laced in highlighter and these really don't disappoint! Theres four shades to collect...Canary Diamond - this one looks icy white in the pan but when applied it has a beautiful golden shift to it, Perwinkle - a stunning violet highlighter with a pink shift to it, Virtuoso - this one is a super intense silver it almost looks like a foil sheen and lastly theres Galaxy Girl - this one is a cross between a galactic blue but with a lilac shift! Each highlighter comes in a sturdy plastic compact with the cutest star and moon raised design within the pan, they certainly look pretty cool. They have a super blendable formula which glows on the cheeks so nicely, theres a tiny amount of shimmer within each highlighter but nothing crazy, I love them!

You can find all of Technic's new launches along with the rest of their products on their website HERE. Also look out for full reviews and swatches on each product coming on my blog soon!

Leighton Denny's New Havana Heat Collection

Hey beaut's!

When it comes to nails Leighton Denny are where the parties attttt... They have so many pretty colours and finishes to choose from and their new Spring/Summer collection 'Havana Heat' is just gorgeous, who else just let their inner Camila Cabello out.. 'Havana, ooh na-na'!

The Leighton Denny Havana Heat Collection consists of six shades all of which have been inspired by the colours, sights, and fiestas of Cuba’s capital city, think bright, tropical and eye catching. I've been giving the shades Street Dance* and Mariposa Pearl* a whirl and I have to say their so pretty. Street Dance is literally a party in a nail polish pot, it has a clear base but is jam packed with all different sizes, shapes and colours of glitter, and after a couple of coats it literally takes any manicure to a whole new level, it's stunning! Mariposa Pearl is probably the most subtle shade within the Havana Heat Collection, it's a light peachy-gold shade with a pearlescent sheen to it, you need about three coats of this one before it's completely opaque but it looks super cute on the nails and perfect if you want something a little bit understated.
I always try and finish any mani with a top coat but I HATE the drying time but that's where my Leighton Denny Crystal Finish Top Coat* (£12.00) comes in, I love this one because it's a quick drying top coat so dries in no time at all, yasssssss... It also leaves my nails looking super glossy as well as sealing my mani into place for a lot longer.
Something else I've been trying by Leighton Denny is their Bio-Build Serum* (£12.00), this stuff intensely restores moisture, rebuilds the nail structure and strengthens each layer of the nail to bond them together and creates a more resilient nail. This is such good stuff and perfect for my nails because they are so weak and break so easily, and my cuticle area is always so dry but I've noticed a huge improvement in the quality of my nails since using this gorgeous stuff. I just massage a tiny drop into each nail every night before I go to sleep and it works wonders, I cant believe I've never tried anything like this before seeing as the quality of my nails has always been so bad.
You can find the Leighton Denny Havana Heat Collection for £12.00 each HERE.

Accessorize Happy Daisy Perfume Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm so ready for all things Spring and Summer now, I'm slowly but surely switching things up in my makeup bag, wardrobe and in my perfume caddy and putting those warm, musky scents to the back and pulling forward my more fruity, floral scents. You might remember that last year I got a bit obsessed with the Accessorize Love Lily Fragrance, I featured it in quite a few favourites posts last year and I'm even on my second bottle of it now so when I heard Accessorize had launched a brand new scent for this Spring/Summer called Happy Daisy I just had to give it a whirl!
Happy Daisy* is a floral, fruity fragrance with a tiny hint of musk so it basically has a little bit of everything going on and I love it! It definitely reminds me of the Accessorize Love Lily Fragrance because they both open up with juicy top notes of raspberry and orange and I can definitely tell they smell similar, but Happy Daisy has heart notes of pepper, violet, cyclamen and jasmine and then finishes with base notes of caramel vanilla, delicate musk, orris and sandalwood.
The scent of Happy Daisy itself is so easy and comfortable to wear, it has light hints of sweetness and mixed with the floral notes it's a match made in heaven. For me it's the perfect scent for everyday wear because it isn't too strong or overpowering, it's not one of those scents that's going to get stuck in the back of your throat that's for sure. The fragrance has good lasting power too despite being quite lightweight, I mean it's not going to last all day long but I get a good couple of hours out of this one and I can always smell those caramel vanilla notes within the fragrance on myself throughout the day too, it's so nice and I can defietly see myself getting so much wear out it from now on.
I love the bottle too, it's shape reminds me of a vintage perfume bottle that my Nan used to have when I was little, it looks so pretty and simplistic and is finished off a coral flower which is encased within the cap!

You can find the Happy Daisy  Eau De Parfum for RRP £19.00/75ml from Accessorize and The Perfume Shop

Vichy Dermablend Cover Matte Powder Foundation Review

 Hey beaut's!

If you've been reading my blog a while now you'll probably already know that I'm a huge fan of Vichy, I use their skincare products on a daily basis and even their Dermablend makeup is part of my makeup collection, so when I saw that they had added to their Dermablend range with a powder foundation I just knew I was going to have to give it a whirl!
If your new to Dermablend, it's Vichy's award winning makeup range that conceals and treats skin concerns, from blemishes and uneven skin tone through to scaring and rosacea the range offers high coverage with a light weight feel and with the added bonus of SPF! The new Dermablend Covermatte Compact Powder Foundation* is perfect if your wanting to set your base makeup into place in a lightweight way for up to 12 hours whilst also adding full, buildable coverage and keeping oil and shine at bay throughout the day too.
I have more combination skin these days, some areas get a little oily and some areas get a little dry so I always need to powder my skin, however I've found it really hard to find the perfect powder that sets and covers without looking cakey or over powdery on my skin until now! Honestly beaut's this powder has been a life saver for me, it never ever looks over powdery or cakey, it keeps my makeup set in place throughout a whole working day and it also adds some coverage so my skin looks pretty much pixel perfect. I also love how it never feels heavy, a lot of full coverage powders - or any powders to be honest - can go heavy or patchy but Vichy's offering never ever feels heavy on my skin and it never goes patchy either.

Overall I cant recommend this powder enough, it's honestly one of my favourite new makeup launches I've tried in a while, and I can see myself purchasing it over and over because I cant be without this beauty now! It lightly mattifies, feels smooth, never clings to my dryer areas, has great coverage, feels lightweight on my skin and keeps shine at bay, whats not to love! It's also great for travelling or popping into your handbag too because the compact has a good sized mirror and the powder flips up to reveal a handy 'on the go' sponge! I literally love this powder as much as my MAC mineralize skin finish natural, which really is saying something!

You can find the Vichy Dermablend Covermatte Compact Powder Foundation for £20.00 HERE.
