My Top 5 Brow Products ♥

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen that last weekend I started a new little blog series named My Top 5, last time I shared my top 5 concealers which you can find here, but  today I thought I'd share with you all my top 5 beloved brow products.
HD Brows Kit in Vamp
My HD Brows Kit is by far my favourite brow product, I've easily had this kit 2-3 years and it's still going strong even if it does look slightly battered and bruised but it never fails me. The shade I like to use is called    which I've now hit pan on, it the perfect shade for my brows in fact its an exact match and takes me seconds to perfect. The four shades within the kit double up as great matte eyeshadows too making it a makeup bag staple for me.

Model Co More Brows in Light/Medium
This little brow gel by Model Co is amazing, it gives my brows a fuller, thicker look instantly because of its cool brush on fibres. I always use this after I've filled in my brows with a powder because it just gives my brows a more natural look as well as setting them into place all day!

Sleek Eyebrow Stylist in Medium
I love my Sleek Eyebrow Stylist if I'm going for a bolder brow look, don't get me wrong you can achieve a natural look with this little beauty but it does bolder, precise brows very well. The stylist actually has unique angular tip which is great because it can be used either on its side, using the slanted, flat edge to fill in larger area's of the brow with broad strokes and the pointed tip is great for more defining strokes and outlining your brows. The formula of the Sleek Eyebrow Stylist is lovely, it's quite creamy with a certain amount of hardness to it yet it applies smooth which I like as certain brow pencils I've tried in the past have been really hard, stiff and rather drying but Sleeks offering is nothing like that at all.

Barry M Shape & Define Brow Kit
Just like the Sleek Eyebrows Stylist I like using Barry M's brow kit when I'm going for a bolder more perfected look. The kit comes with an ashy toned brown wax that I like to use as a base to really get those brows into shape and gives the brow powder something to cling too, theres also a cooled toned, dark brown brow powder which is nicely pigmented, soft to swatch and blends out a treat over the brow wax. Lastly theres a highlight shade, which is a bright cream shade with no shimmer of glitter running through it, I find it perfect to mix with the darker brown brow powder when I want a more subtle brow shade. All in all its a great little kit and super affordable too.

Beauty UK 'High Brow' Eyebrow Kit
Lastly I have my trusty Beauty UK 'High Brow' Eyebrow Kit, I think this kit needs more love because it's actually amazing and so cheap too at just £3.99, Id actually say it's quite similar to my HD Brows Kit and the quality isn't far off either. The kit comes with 3 brow powders in a range of different shades of brown and a colourless brow wax, I love using the lightest shade within the kit to fill in the first part of my brows and then deepen up the ends of my brows with a mix of the darker brown brow shades, the formula is honestly really good and lasts all day on my brows, I'd highly recommend giving this one a go!

What's your favourite brow product beaut's? I'd love to know!

January Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

Its that time again.... Monthly favourites time!!! How has the start of 2016 been for you all? I cant quite believe how quick January is whizzing past, it honestly scares me that the months go by so quickly! Is anyone else not feeling this cold winter weather anymore? Don't get me wrong I loved Autumn and the festive build up but I'm totally over winter now, bring on the Spring, warm sunshine, blue sky's and pretty flowers ha ha. Anywhoo onto what I've been loving this month beauty wise!

Trevor Sorbie Keratin + Argan Magnetic Multi-Wand
I'm kicking things off this month with a hair favourite, the Trevor Sorbie Keratin + Argan Magnetic Multi-Wand! I actually got this curling wand for Christmas from my boyfriends parents and have been obsessed with it ever since, I just love the fact that you get the 3 different attachments to create a multitude of different types of waves and curls and it's so easy to use because you simply just wrap your hair around the wand, I love it!

Collection #BlushAndGlow Palette
I finally got my hands on the Collection #BlushAndGlow Palette a few weeks ago and it hasn't left my makeup bag since, it contains a matte bronzer, matte pink blusher, shimmering pink blusher and a neutral highlighter all of which work amazingly well and blend out beautifully, and it's only £4.99 which is incredible! For some reason in my picture the bronzer looks a lot darker than it actually is but I've been using it everyday to contour and bronze with and the blusher underneath the highlighter has been my go to everyday too.

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation
I recently got my L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation back out of my makeup stash because it's great for dryer skin types and my skin has really been feeling the effects of the colder weather recently. The foundation itself is light infusing which means it gives luminosity to the skin and really adds a beautiful subtle glow. The formula is gorgeous, its very light weight, silky soft, blends into the skin well and provides hydration all day and is generally really lovely and peps your skin up on a gloomy day.

Real Techniques Bold Metals Angled Powder Brush
The Real Techniques Bold Metals Angled Powder Brush has been a firm favourite of mine this month, the bristles are just so full and very soft which makes it the ideal brush for setting my base makeup into place, it picks up powders easily and lightly and blends onto the skin without leaving behind a horrible layer of powder. I've also been using this brush with my Collection bronzer (above), I love a huge brush to bronze with and I find the Angled Powder Brush blends out bronzer an absolute dream leaving me with a nice even glow.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
To be totally honest I've been completely obsessed with all things Lush for the past few months and have been using their bubble bars/bath bombs in every bath I've had, but one thing I've continued to use over and over during January is the Snow Fairy Shower Gel. The Snow Fairy Shower Gel just smells incredible, it literally fills my bathroom with its sweet, bubblegum, candy floss scent and makes my skin smell just as scrummy ha ha. I'm annoyed that I've nearly used mine up because the thought of waiting until Christmas again to get some more is horrible.

Lancôme Grandiose Mascara
The Lancôme Grandiose Mascara is rather lovely and I've been obsessed with it the past few weeks, it literally creates full, fanned out, separated lashes and I find the brush itself is such a great shape and size for my smaller eyes so it's quite easy and quick to use for me personally. The staying power is on point without any smudging or running and it doesn't clump up what so ever.

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob

Lastly this month I've been in love with this Rimmel lip liner in East End Snob, it's more or less the exact same shade of my MAC Brave Lipstick which is my all time favourite lipstick and the combination of the two is just dreamy. I've been lining and filling in my lips with East End Snob then going over the top with Mac's Brave and then I'm good to go all day, arhhh I love it.

What have you been loving this month beaut's?? I'd love to know

My MAC Collection So Far....

Hey beaut's!

If your anything like me then you'll love reading makeup collection posts, arhhh I'm just obsessed with them and even watch YouTuber's makeup collection video's too, so today I thought I'd share with you all my Mac Collection. This is in no way going to be a large Mac Collection, I read some peoples collections and I'm left lusting after their 20 Mac lipsticks when I'm over here with my 3 ha ha but I'm so keen on adding to my Mac collection especially lipstick wise and I thought documenting what I have so far would be kind of cool.

Eyes
I'll kick things off with the eyes, my first Mac purchase was actually Mac's Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Bare Study (£16.00), I'd seen this used as an eyeshadow base or as a quick wash of colour over the lid on YouTube video's about 4 years ago and I just had to have it, it's such a pretty soft beige with a gold pearl finish and I have used it to death. I also bought the Painterly Paint Pot (£16.00) last year which is a nude beige and I currently use this every single day as an eyeshadow primer, I love it and would highly recommend it. My Mac Quad was actually a birthday gift a couple of years ago and inside I have All That Glitters, Satin Taupe, Naked Lunch and Omega, after loving those so much and being so impressed by Mac's eyeshadow quality I ended up buying Cranberry and Charcoal Brown singly, I actually want to get one of the large Mac Pro Palettes next and start collecting their eye shadow's as I think their amazing! Next up is my Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara (£15.00), I got this because it's so popular for being ussd on your lower lashes because of its very slim wand and I love it, the tiny bristles get to the smallest of lashes and it doesn't run or smudge at all. Lastly for eyes is my Irresistibly Charming Glitters and Pigments in Gold, this was a limited edition gift set from Mac's 2015 Christmas Collection which my boyfriend kindly bought for me, I think these four little pots are going to last me forever as the smallest amount of pigment goes a long way.

Face
Next up is my base makeup items, the first base product I bought from Mac was their Mineralize Skin finish Natural Powder in Medium (£24.00), as you can probably tell I've more or less used this up but I just cant bring myself to get rid of it because there's the smallest amount left round the edges ha ha. Then Skin finish Natural Powder is easily the best setting powder I've ever used, it's actually really pigmented so it just makes your skin look perfect whilst setting everything into place all day! I then got the Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW20 (£25.50) last summer, this is a creamy, luxurious, gel-based foundation that provides medium buildable to high coverage with a natural satin finish. I love using this on my skin when it's really dry because it's super hydrating and quite dewy and you only need to smallest amount to cover your entire face. Lastly I have the Pro Longwear Concealer inNW15 (£17.50) this is my holy grail concealer, it has a creamy, light weight liquid texture and a matte finish with a medium to high coverage that will cover dark circles, blemishes, scars, veins, redness and pretty much anything else that you throw at it, it's also extremely long-wearing and literally wont budge all day once its set, it's amazing!

Lips
Lastly we have my three trusty Mac Lipsticks, the first Mac lipstick I got I actually won on a blog giveaway, I ended up choosing one from the Viva Glam Collection in the shade Viva Glam I (£15.50) this is an intense brownish blue-red with a matte finish, I always tend to use this shade on nights out because it's so intense, vampy and super long lasting. Next I ended up getting Viva Glam V (£15.50) which has a gorgeous lustre finish and is the perfect nude for my skin tone, it has neutral mauve tones to it as well as neutral brown tones and has slight gold shimmer running through it, it's super beautiful and is the only nude I've ever found that I love. Lastly is my favourite lipstick out of the three I own which is called Brave (£15.50), this has a satin finish and is the perfect shade of mauve that goes with any makeup look for any occasion and can be worn anytime of day and honestly I've been wearing it pretty much everyday since last August which is when I got it he he.

And there you have it beaut's, all the Mac makeup I currently own. I did have the Mac Brush Cleanser which is an amazing makeup brush cleaner but I've run out so I'm going to have to re-purchase that again sometime soon.

What's your favourite Mac product that you own beaut's? I'd love to know!

My Top 5 Concealers ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I thought I'd start a new little series all about My Top 5! This will consist of makeup items mostly and will give you a mini review of each item and an insight into the makeup I love the most he he. I thought I'd kick things off with something I wear everyday without fail, my beloved concealers!

MAC Pro Long wear Concealer in NW15 £17.50
Firstly it's my trusty MAC Pro Long wear Concealer, I honestly couldn't be without this baby! The concealer itself has creamy, light weight liquid texture and a matte finish with a medium to high coverage that will cover dark circles, blemishes, scars, veins, redness and pretty much anything else that you throw at it, it's also extremely long-wearing and literally wont budge all day once its set, it's amazing!  Yes it's pricey at £17.50 a pop but I think it's totally worth it and is by far one of the best concealers I've every tried.

Maybelline Eraser Eye Perfect and Cover Concealer £7.99
Next it had to be my Maybelline Eraser Eye Perfect and Cover Concealer, this was a no brainer for me because it's actually the second time I've repurchased the Eraser Eye and it's fair to say I blooming love it. The formula of the Eraser Eye Concealer is so light weight yet hydrating and creamy at the same time, it's enriched with Goji Berry which helps care for the eye area by hydrating, and it also contains Haloxyl which reduces the look of puffiness and shadows whilst also fading the appearance of under-eye dark circles, it's amazing! Coverage wise... I'd say it's a medium plus, as I said before it does a great job at covering up my dreaded dark circles and the Light shade works amazingly well at brightening up and highlighting my under eye area too.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair £4.19
Then it's the ever so popular Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, this is my most repurchased concealer that I've been buying for years, even when Collection where called Collection 2000 ha ha. This little beauty has a gorgeous creamy texture that blends out beautifully and provides a medium plus to full coverage without looking cakey, it covers my blemishes, redness and dark under eye circles with ease and lasts all day without and need to touch up, in a word its 'brillaint'!

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory £5.49
Missed out on your eight hours of beauty sleep? Need a serious pick me up? Then Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer will be the one for you. Wake Me Up provides a medium coverage that will have your under eye area looking instantly brighter, more awake and fresh looking. So if your looking for something slightly lighter but still does a great job in the mornings then give Wake Me Up a whirl.

Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer in Ivory £4.49
Lastly is Barry M's Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer, this is actually very similar to Rimmel's Wake Me Up but I just had to feature it because again I've repurchased this a lot on occasions when I couldn't get my hands on Collections Lasting Perfection. This little stunner by Barry M is creamy, has a easy to blend texture, has an illuminating medium coverage so it covers well and brightens and I love the addition of Cucumber and Aloe because together they soothe, cool and comfort the eye area which ideal if you wake up with puffy eyes.

What's your favourite concealer beaut's? I'd love to know!

Retro Kellogg's Rice Krispies Lip Balm Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a very exciting review for you all in the shape of a Kellogg's Rice Krispies Lip Balm*... Breakfast and beauty don't usually collide but they have now and I'm drooling over it, I mean this kitch collaboration between Kellogg's and MAD Beauty is just genius isn't it.
The lip balm packaging looks amazing and sports that vintage 70's look and features the legends which are snap, crackle and pop. The scent and taste of the Rice Krispies balm itself is so yummy and sure to be a winner for anyone who likes something sweet and sugary, it has a kick of banana which tastes and smells just like those foam banana's you get in the sweet shop, oh my goodness I love it. The quality of the lip balm is really very good, sometimes you can find that the idea of a product that looks amazing in the packaging can out way the actual quality of the product itself but this lip balm certainly works well. It moisturises and nourishes my lips leaving them silky smooth and it makes a lovely base for lipsticks to go over too.
Overall I absolutely love this little beauty and not only does it look incredible it works well too and has become a handbag essential for me. The Kellogg's lips balms also come in the Frosted Flakes edition which I have and theres a Coco Pops edition available too, and what's best is that they are all an affordable £2.99 a snap, crackle and a pop to he he.

What do you think of the Kellogg's Retro range beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

Real Techniques Bold Metals Essentials Collection

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen if you read my What I Got For Christmas post that my Mum and Dad generously got me the Limited Edition Real Techniques Bold Metals Essentials Collection for Christmas. I'm a huge fan of the Real Techniques brushes and have quite a collection of them now but I was yet to try any of their gorgeous looking Bold Metals brushes, so I was super excited to get some for Christmas to try. The set is actually on sale now in Boots for just £25.00 which I think is an absolute bargain considering how much these brushes are usually when sold singly so snap a set up whilst you can beaut's!
The Real Techniques Bold Metals Essentials Collection contains three full size brushes, one of which is a set exclusive and theres also a clutch bag which is in an envelope style which can be used to store these three brushes in if you wish or you can just use it on nights out, I personally find the clutch pretty useless but hey ho. The brushes included are....

103 Angled Powder Brush - The Angled Powder Brush is the exclusive brush within this set and has a very large slightly angled head and a gold coloured handle. The bristles of this brush are very full and very soft making it the ideal brush for setting your base makeup into place, it picks up powders easily and lightly and blends onto the skin without leaving behind a horrible layer of powder. I've also been using this brush with my bronzer, I love a huge brush to bronze with and I find the Angled Powder Brush blends out bronzer an absolute dream leaving me with a nice even glow.

300 Tapered Blush The Tapered Blush Brush is an absolutely stunning brush with its Rose Gold design, super soft bristles and it's ability to blend blusher like a boss! The Tapered Blush Brush has a specially-designed tip which can be used to highlight with or to add blush across the cheeks for a seamless finish and I have to say I enjoy using this brush for both. The tip of the Tapered Blush Brush is great at blending highlighter down my nose and the top of my cheekbones and the side of the brush fits my cheekbones perfectly and literally blends my blush within seconds.

200 Oval Shadow Brush - The Oval Shadow Brush is quite large for an eyeshadow brush but it's brilliant at either applying eyeshadow across the lid or my favourite way to use it for for crease blending work, it honestly blends eyeshadow out amazingly to the point of which I can say it's the best eyeshadow blending brush I own, it's incredible. I've also used this brush to blend out concealer underneath my eyes and it worked great at that too, I seriously need to buy a couple more of these bad boys.
I've found all of the brushes within this Bold Metals Essentials Collection are utterly lust-worthy and feel so luxurious, each brush has a weighted brass ferrule which makes each brush super comfortable to hold, and all of the handles go down to a thinner diamond shape which stops the brushes rolling off your dressing table or makeup station when your applying your makeup. The brushes are made with ultra high grade synthetic bristles which can be used with cream, liquid and powder products and are so super soft and incredibly dense, providing all the support you need to pick up and apply product with ease. I have given the Oval Shadow Brush and the Tapered Blush Brush a couple of spot cleans with my MAC brush cleanser and I haven't experienced any shedding what so ever which is a major plus. Overall I absolutely love these brushes and am so happy that I've finally be able to try them, I was put off by the higher price points before but I can definitely see and feel that these are so much more luxurious and the overall finish to my makeup is so much better.

Have you tried any of the Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes? What one is your favourite? I'd love to know beaut's!

2015 Beauty Favourites

Hey beaut's!

As we are now well into the new year I thought I'd do a little round up of a few beauty products that have become either favourites of mine or staple products that I repurchased over and over during 2015. To be honest I could of put silly amounts of products in this post as I really have loved a heck of a lot of beauty products in 2015 but here are a handful that I have chosen....

Firstly I have to start with my beloved Real Techniques Brushes and Complexion Sponge, without them I'm sure my makeup would look a horrible cakey mess. My collection started off with the famous 'Buffing Brush' a few years ago and ever since then I've not turned back and I've tried to collect as many of the brushes as possible and now have a pretty awesome collection! They honestly do make a huge difference in the way my makeup looks and feels, everything just looks so flawless and I'm sure I'll be loving each and every brush throughout 2016 too.

I couldn't of been without my trusty MAC Quad in 2015, it contains the shades All That Glitters, Satin Taupe, Naked Lunch and Omega and I use every single shade within the palette more or less every other day as I love them so much, theres something about MAC eye shadows that just really work for me, theres no creasing, no fallout, they are so easy to work with, blend out a dream and last really well. Next up is my liquid liner bestie the Soap & Glory Supercat Liner, as far as liquid liners go this is so easy to use, super black, long lasting and I'd definitely recommend it for beginners because of it's pen shaped nib, it just feels like your drawing he he. The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara was a huge hit with me 2015, I actually waited a good few months after this launched to try it because me and Maybelline mascara's never get a long for some odd reason but the Lash Sensational is amazing, it's much like Benefits Roller Lash and give me so much length and separation but also volumises and defines at the same time, I love it!

I think Barry M had a great year in 2015, we saw them launch lots of new makeup lines and most of them I loved, especially their Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit and their Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer. I've spoken about the contour kit so many times but it just has the most amazing cool toned contour shade which I've actually hit pan on and the bronzer and highlighter are fab to. The Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer I've actually repurchased four times during 2015 so I think that pretty much speaks for itself.

For lips in 2015 I fell deeply in love with two lipstick in particular, the first one is my trusty MAC Brave Lipstick which I got for my birthday last August, it's honestly the perfect shade of lipstick that goes with any makeup look for any occasion and can be worn anytime of day and honestly I've been wearing it pretty much everyday since August! Before my addiction to my MAC lippie started I wore my L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in the shade Fuchsia Declaration constantly, it's such a pretty pink shade and the formula of these L'Oreal lipsticks is insanely good!

Lastly I have a skin favourite and a hair favourite! For skin,  I found Superdrugs Simply Pure Hydrating Serum on offer one day so I thought I'd give it a go and I love it, it's just as good as high end serums I've tried and if you have dry sensitive skin I'd highly recommend it. For hair, it has to be my Tangle Teezer, I have long thick hair which I wear wavy or curly most days so it tends to get super knotty and tangled and my trusty Tangle Teezer makes such light work of getting through it all without pulling half of the hair on my head out.

What where your 2015 beauty favourites beaut's? I'd love to know!

January Glossybox Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossy box time!!! This month we have the 'Year of More' box, a theme that sees us not concentrating on what we shouldn’t be doing (and trying our best to give it up), but fully focused on what we should be doing. So to inspire us to get more from the year ahead, Glossybox have filled our boxes with 5 beauty treats focused on giving us more and have also tapped into the pretty trend of smokey purple eyes by creating their very own mauve hued satin shadow, oooohh!

Unani Dermo Defence Face Mask | Full Size | £11.36
Firstly this month we have the Unani Dermo Defence Face Mask, this herbal based mask has two key missions, to care for the skin and to keep it protected. This will be great for anyone like myself that suffers with dryer skin during the cold winter months, it's really going to give your skin that moisture boost that it needs, I literally cant wait to give it a go!

Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in Coral Onyx | Full Size | £11.93
Next up we have the Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in Coral Onyx, a pretty pinky coral shade (it looks much darker that it actually is in my picture) with a gorgeous satin finish. Glossybox actually describe this as the perfect hue to wear during the winter months, but personally I never rock corals at this time of year so Ill be saving this little beauty for the Spring and Summer. I have actually popped this on just around the house to see what it was like and the formula does seem gorgeous, it's ultra creamy and the added coconut oil really helps to keep my pout nourished and hydrated!

Angele Paris Red Nail Lacquer | Full Size | £6.32
I was so happy when I saw this Angele Paris Red Nail Lacquer in my box this month, I've never heard of the brand before so I'm intrigued to see what it's like, but I was also really chuffed to see such a wearable shade, usually I get stuck with browns or some garish colour that I dislike. You literally cant go wrong with a classic red nail can you!

Glossybox Eyeshadow in Glossy Mauve | Full Size | £7.10
This season, smokey purple and blue eyes are in so Glossybox decided to make their very own mauve satin eyeshadow, in the pan it looks slightly like Mac's Satin Taupe but when I swatched it it's a lot more purple toned but still a beautiful shade.

Madara Cellular Repair Serum | Luxury Size Sample | £38.88 for Full Size
Lastly this month is a luxury sized sample of the Madara Cellular Repair Serum, which is said to be great for plumping the skin, boosting hydration and adding radiance. I'm really looking forward to giving this a whirl, anything with a full size price tag of £38 must be good hey he he.

What did you think of this month's box beaut's?? I'd love to know.
