Resultime by Collin Paris 'Skincare' Review

Hey girlie's

I was recently asked if I'd like to try some little samples from a skincare brand called Resultime*. Resultime by Collin Paris is one of the best kept beauty secrets, it's a results-driven, sophisticated skincare brand, offering a complete salon treatment range and home care line that has a solution for every skin concern and specialises in Anti-Ageing.

The one thing that really impresses me with this brand is that no matter what your skin type, age or skin problem, Resultime has the products to suit your skin's needs. Their website is so easy to follow and helpful, all you do is find your skin type or concern and it will bring up every product they have to offer, to help you with your problem, how great is that!!!
I suffer with very sensitive skin that can be dry in some places so the samples that I have been trying are specifically catered to my skin type...

Hydro Cleansing Cream* 5ml Sample

I love this creamy cleansing wash, it's great for removing make-up and is an ideal 'in the shower' product that can be used around your eyes and leaves your skin clean and super soft. Its formula combines Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid to maintain the youthfulness of the skin and leave it perfectly comfortable, supple and luminous. It is suitable for all skin types, and is ideal for dry skin. The full size bottle of the Cleansing Cream is £19.50 for 150ml.

Sensitive Skin Intensive Serum* 5ml Sample
This intensive serum is great for anyone who suffers with the redness that sensitive skin can sometimes bring, it really does comfort and calm the skin. It's designed to show improvements when you've used the serum for up to 4 four weeks, as I have the sample size I cant say whether this serum does dramatically help my skin although I have noticed after I've used the serum my skin definitely felt really soothed and not so sore. The full size bottle of the Intensive Serum is £42.50 for 30ml.

Soothing Calming Cream* 5ml Sample
Like the Serum this Calming Cream really helps to sooth sensitive, irritated, blotchy, red, itchy skin, and can even be used to calm rashes and after sun exposure, so in a nutshell this is a great little multipurpose product. I like to apply this in the evening all over my face and down my neck and it really does make my skin feel calm and soothed which is so nice before you hop into bed, and it really keeps redness at bay to. The full size pot of the Calming Cream is £38.50 for 50ml.

Overall, from what I've tried so far I do really like the Resultime Skincare brand and would certainly treat myself to some of their skincare products in the future, they feel and look so luxurious and I've already been eyeing up their Micellar Water and Cleansing Cream he he. I would definitely recommend Resultime if you struggle to get the correct skincare products for your skin type or skin concerns.

Have you tried any skincare products from Resultime before??? I'd love to know beaut's.

2013 Skincare Favourites ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

So we may have waved goodbye to 2013 but we can still appreciate a few products we've loved throughout last year cant we? So today I thought I'd do a little round up of a few skincare products that have become either favourites of mine or staple products that I repurchase over and over and cant live without otherwise my skin would be really dull and probably majorly dry. I've already put up my 2013 Beauty Favourites and my 2013 Haircare Favourites so feel free to have a nosey at those if you'd like.

B.Pure Micellar Water
2013 was definitely a year for Micellar waters, I really wanted to try Bioderma but with it being hard to get hold of and the fact its not really affordable for me I decided to try Superdrugs B.Pure offering and I'm so glad I did as I love it. I use the 3-in-1 cleanser every night to quickly and effectively remove all of my face makeup, it's extremely gentle and there's no water required to rinse off either, simple!!!

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes
You will notice I absolutely love Simple Skincare products!!! I have extremely sensitive skin and everything in the Simple range is a complete gem to me. I use these facial wipes every morning after my shower just to make sure my face is completely clean and that my eyes are free from any mascara that might have been left behind the night before, they are so gentle around the eye area, and are the only wipes that don't sting my eyes, I've honestly been repurchasing them for years, I just love them!!!

Simple Moisturising Facial Wash
Another Simple product I couldn't be without.... I use this facial wash most evenings before I cleanse and it does a really great job of completely cleaning your skin, it gets most traces of makeup off and leaves your skin feeling super soft and moisturised.

Dr.Brandt Microdermabrsion Skin Efoliant
Ive been addicted to this stuff ever since I received this sample in my Birchbox in October and even though it is only a sample size it has lasted me ages as I only use a small amount each time. It's basically an amazing skin exfoliant that I've been using once or twice a week and the improvement in my skins appearance since ive used it is phenomenal, my skin is just so clear and near enough perfect! It's a shame the full size is a whopping £67.00, but I love it so much that I might splurge and treat myself, I could always put my Birchbox points towards it to he he.

Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser
This moisturiser is lovely and again has been a favourite for years, I use the rich version in the winter as my skin gets more dry when its colder and then I switch it up abit and use the light version in the summer when my skin is not so dry. Theres not much to say apart from it does the job and it sits nicely under foundation too.

Vichy Idealia Life Serum
Serums where never really my thing until I discovered Vichy's offering, it had just made a huge difference in my skins appearance and also how my make up sits on my skin too.  The serums lightweight, pearly formula creates the best make up base I've ever come across, my foundation blends into my skin so quickly, effortlessly and just looked completely flawless. Also the serum is targeted towards making your skin look more radiant so it has a slight pearly sheen to it, which makes my skin look so healthy, glowing and slightly luminous too.

And there you have it, a few of my favourite skincare products that really have made a difference in my skin during 2013.

What have your skincare favourites been during 2013??? Leave me your links if you've done a similar post as I'd love to read it.

Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

I don't know about you but a setting powder is essential in my daily make up routine, however... finding the perfect one is hard, they're either too powdery where you can see visible powder on the skin, they can sometimes make your face look really flat or even cakey and generally they aren't that long lasting on me. But now all my prayers have been answered after finding this little gem, the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder*!!!

The Vichy Dermabland Setting Powder* is an extremely finely milled powder that comes in a translucent universal shade. It's a powder than can either be used just to set your foundation into place or your entire make up routine and claims to hold your make up into place for up to 16 hours, its also water resistant and can withstand perspiration too, sounds pretty good right.

The 28g of finely milled setting powder comes in a nice sturdy plastic jar with a secure screw lid, the setting powder also comes complete with a nice little powder puff which I think is a nice little touch. The one thing I always worry about with loose powders is I can find them to be slightly messy and uncontrollable, however in the Vichy Setting Powders packaging their are only a small amount of holes for the product to come out that are clustered together meaning less chance of mess, yippee!!!

The way I like to use the setting powder is by tapping some of the powder out into the jar lid and then using either my Flat Top Kabuki style brush or my Real Techniques big powder brush to pick up the powder, I then push the powder into my skin to set all my make up into place and slightly buff over the skin too for that flawless effect, alternatively you could use the powder puff provided to push the powder over the skin and then use a brush to buff into the skin, both way work the same to be honest, its just about what works best for you and what you prefer.

The finish the powder leaves is incredible, its makes my skin look completely flawless and buffs away imperfections, with no visible shine or oiliness throughout the whole day, my foundation and make up last so much longer, it doesn't look powdery or cakey in the slightest and it makes my face feel superrrr soft. I also love the fact that as its translucent is doesn't change the shade of your foundation or any of your other base make up.

Overall I'm super impressed with Vichy Dermablend's offering and can honestly say I've never tried any setting powders before with such good results.

The Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder is available online on the Escentual website for £16.00, you can also find some other great Vichy Dermablend products there too.

Have you tried any of the Vichy Dermablend range??? I'd love to know.

Bourjois Happy Light Foundation | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

As I was having my usual lunch break browse in Superdrug I noticed Bourjois have brought out a new collection, the Happy Light Collection!!! The collection consists of four new 'Happy Light' make up goodies which include a foundation, a concealer, a matte serum primer and a luminous serum primer. Obviously me being me, I just had to buy the foundation to try.

Firstly how cute is the name of this collection, maybe I'm just odd but the quirky little name makes me like it even more ha ha. The foundation is also packaged nicely and comes in a nice glass bottle with a plastic pump dispenser, which I always prefer as it's alot cleaner and easy to use.

The foundation itself is available in 5 flawless shades, I opted for the shade '50 Porcelaine' which is the lightest shade in the collection, it happened to be an exact match for my skin tone even though I wouldn't class myself as having a pale skin tone at all but hey ho.

The Happy Light Foundation is aimed at giving us healthy, glowing looking skin without the bother of having the added shimmer or glitter particles running through it and claims to give us a luminous, flawless complexion in any light.... So the question is what did I think of the Happy Light Foundation???

Well... Firstly the texture is lovely, it's so light and silky and blends beautifully into the skin when using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush, be careful if you use your fingers to blend as it can go slightly streaky. In terms of coverage I'd say it provides a medium but buildable coverage and instantly evens out the skin tone and corrects redness. The finish is very much matte and I always swerve powdering my face when I use this foundation as you just don't need it, if you girlie's do like a dewy finish then I'd say this foundation really isn't for you. Also you don't have to worry about looking ghostly in pictures when wearing this foundation as their is no added SPF.

Overall I do really like Bourjour's new offering, I love the fact that the foundation is so weightless and isn't oily at all, the translucent pigments really do give the affect of healthier looking, glowing skin and it didn't cling to any dry patches on my face either which is a bonus. My only negative is there's not many shades too choose from in the collection, if you have a paler skin tone or darker skin tone unfortunately i think your going to struggle to a find a shade to suit but other than that I love it!!!

You can pick your 'Happy Light Foundation' up in Boots and Superdrug and is currently priced at £7.99 as it's on an introductory off, it's full price when it goes up will be £11.99, so if you want to try it I'd pick it up now and save yourself some pennies before it goes up he he.

Have you tried this foundation yet or any of the Happy Light collection??? I'd love to know your thoughts!!!

Rana Argan Oil | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

I was recently lucky enough to be sent a sample size of Rana Argan Oil to review. I'm really started to get into oils at the moment especially on my hair, so to be able to try out another oil really excites me silly amounts!!!

Rana Argon Oil is the brain child of Neil and Eylem who look to bring the best organic and natural products from all around the world to us, the customer. And they've done just that by sourcing their 100% pure Rana Argan Oil straight from the Argan fruit in Morocco.

Rana Argan Oil has even been nicknamed the 'miricle oil' due to the mass of benefits you can get from it. Rana Argan Oil can be used in a multitude of ways, i do love a good multipurpose product.....

Hair

You can apply to dry hair after styling to help prevent split ends and add some shine. This is one of my favourite ways to use the Rana Argon Oil as the sine it adds is lovely and it helps tame any frizz.
Use before shampooing buy applying a small amount to dry hair, leave for around 40 minutes then wash thoroughly, this will repair dry damaged hair. So for all you lovers of hair dyes and heated hair styler's this could benefit you.
You can also use the Argan Oil as a deeper treatment for your hair by leaving it in overnight and washing out thoroughly in the morning. This will help promote hair growth and make your hair feel less brittle.

Body

You can apply the Argan Oil over your whole body, concentrating on the ares prone to dryness, this will make your skin feel smooth, plump and healthy looking.
Massage a small amount onto any stretch marks or scars to help reduce them.
Rub into nails and cuticles this will not only moisturise but will make your nails become stronger and shiner.

Face

You can apply a couple of drops sparingly on your face after cleansing both morning an evening just to give your face a little pick me up and add a healthy looking glow to your skin.
The men in your life can even use this as a pre and post shaving treatment.

As you can see there's so many uses for the Argan Oil but my favourite has to be using it on my hair. Ive been growing my hair long for quite some time now so the ends are started to split and also the added fact i use heat on my hair quite often means my hair does need some treatment and a little pick me up. I noticed straight away when i used this after styling it adds lovely shine and tames frizz, when I've used it as a before shampoo treatment its left my hair feeling really smooth, shiny and the ends looked so much more healthier it also makes a great little cuticle oil too.

As for the Rana Argon Oils scent, well all i can smell is a light nutty scent, nothing overpowering or nasty.

Remember due to the fact Rana Argan Oil has 100% pure ingredients, only a small amount is required and its important to use it sparingly, a little really does go a long way!!!

Also Rana Argon Oil is not suitable to be used on anyone who has any nut allergy's, so bare that in mind girlie's.

You can buy your bottle of Rana Argan Oil from their website, with their 30ml bottle retailing at £9.00 or their 100ml bottle retailing at £23.00.

Let me know if you try this product and what you thought???

 Hayley

P.S. This post does contain a PR sample. This does not affect my opinion of the product.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Being the massive Real Techniques fan that i am ive taken it upon myself to try and collect every brush that Pixiwoo's Samantha Chapman has realeased. Ive wanted the Expert Face Brush for a while now but put off buying it as i thought it was very similar to the buffing brush but after receiving the brush as a birthday gift an trying it out for myself i can now see some differences between the two brushes.

As with all the Real Techniques brushes the expert face brush has a light weight aliminuim handle with a nice sturdy part at the bottom of the brush makeing the brush able to stand up for easy storage. The brush itself has short dence bristles, shorter than the buffing brush bristles and has more of a smaller oval shape where as the buffing brush is more circler. The brush is made up of  hand cut ultra plush synthetic taklon bristles and are 100% cruelty free which is a major plus.

I find the Expert Face Brush is perfect for applying and blending liquid, cream and powder foundations. I have found to get the best results you need to use brush strokes rather than a buffing motion, i use the brush like i would use a stanstard foundaion brush and it gives you a pixil perfect finish to the skin. I also find as the brush is slightly smaller it makes it easier to get to smaller places on the face such as around your nose and eye area and because the bristles are smaller and more dence it gives you the effect of more coverage.

Overall i really love this brush and love the finish it leaves and yet again the lovely Samantha Chapman has made another pretty amazing brush.

Real Techniques Brushes are available in selected Boots and Superdrug stores and on various online retailers.

Have you tried this brush yet??? Are you a big fan of Real Techniques like me??? Id love to know.

Nspa Melting Cleansing Gel | Review

Hey girlie's!!

Recently Nspa tweeted asking for people to take part in one of their online surveys and if you got involved and took part you could get a little treat, i was lucky enough to get a little treat and they sent me a 50ml tube of their Melting Cleansing Gel to try, Eeeeekkkk.

Id never tried anything from the Nspa range before as i dont have an Asda in my town (sad face) but i must admit after taking part in the survey and looking at their website more in depth they seem to have some really impressive looking products that wont break the bank.

The Melting Cleansing Gel is part 1 of their 4 step skincare programme, its an intriguing gel like cleanser that turns into a soft milky cleanser when it comes into contact with water. You simply massage the cleansing gel onto dry skin then wet yours hands with warm water and massage again to turn the gel into a soft milk then rinse well with warm water, i found this very simple and easy to use so no grumbles there. The texture of the gel id say is quite silky and looks shiny as your applying it to your face and it smells amazing, very fresh and zesty.

Overall after using this i would say its great for people with sensitive skin like me as this is an extremely gentle cleanser, as for removing makeup i found it took a good couple of uses before i could see that my makeup was being removed simply because its that gentle. It does however make your skin feel super soft after you use it and i never experienced any break outs at all. I'm not sure i would use this as an everyday evening cleanser and i just don't think it strong enough for me but as a morning cleanser i think it would be great.

Have you tried any of the Nspa beauty products??? What did you think???

B.Pure Micellar Water | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Ive been wanting to try this 'B.Pure Micellar Water' for a super long time and finally i spotted it in my local Superdrug with a third off which made it £3.32 instead of its usual price point of £4.99, so i casually sprinted over to the stand to grab one as fast as i could, as you do ha ha.

Micellar waters have become huge recently and after trying this 'B.Pure' little gem i can now see why, I'm literally in love.

B.Pure Micellar Water is of course a water based 3-in-1 cleanser that can quickly and effectively remove face makeup whilst being extremely gentle and there's no water required to rinse off. The bottle does say avoid direct contact with eyes so i haven't used it to completely remove my eye makeup although i have used it around the eye area and not had a problem.

The thing i love about the B.Pure Micellar Water is that not only does it cleanse but it tones and restores the skin back to its natural pH balance, how nifty!!! Its also Ophthalmically and Dermatologically approved.

The cleanser itself isn't oily in anyway and it honestly does feel like you are just wiping your face with a watered cotton pad. The bottle states there's cucumber juice extract inside although i never smell anything whilst removing my makeup id say its pretty much odourless, which doesn't bother me at all.

After using the Micellar Water I've experienced no break outs and my skins been great and clear, there's also no tightness or soreness of the skin after I've used this and seems to be extremely gentle on my sensitive skin.

I love this, its literally amazing and my new holy grail product. Have you tried this little beauty??? What did you think???

Face Of The Day | My Everyday Makeup

I thought id do a little post on what makeup I'm currently using on a daily basis. Id like to say i don't wear too much makeup on a daily basis, just the basic staples. I do always get myself in a little routine of the same products for a while and then switch it up abit if I'm getting bored or if I've purchased a few new goodies. Anywhoo here's the run down of the current products I'm using.

♥ Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation in '100 Ivory'

♥ Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer in '010 Ivory'

♥ Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in 'Medium', I'm only using this to powder over my Concealer to set it into place at the moment.

♥ Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 'Soft Pink'

HD Brows Kit in ' Foxy' using 'Ash Brown'

♥ Urban Decay NAKED Basics palette using 'Naked 2' all over the lid and 'Faint' in the crease, then i defined my upper lash line with 'Crave' instead of going for liquid liner.

♥ Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner in 'Black'

♥ Rimmel's Glam'EYES Day 2 Night Mascara in 'Black'

♥ Revlon Lip Gloss in 'Kiss Me Coral'

I hope you enjoyed this type of post girlie's.

Face and Hair of the Day

Hey girlie's!!! I went out for lunch yesterday with my boyfriend and his dad so i thought i may as well share with you a cheeky little face of the day (focused more on the eyes than the skin) and hair of the day combined.... Hope you like ♥

Face

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory, i used my Real Techniques Buffing brush to get a nice flawless finish.

♥ Collection Concealer in Light.

♥ Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Medium, i used my Real Techniques Powder brush to get the perfect finish.

Eyes

♥ Mac Paint Pot in Bare Study, i just blended this all over the lid with my finger to work as a base for my eyeshadow.

♥ Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, i started off mixing 'Foxy' and 'WOS' together with my Real Techniques base shadow brush and popped that all over the lid, using the same brush i took the colour 'Faint' and worked that into my crease. To get that extra blended finish in my crease area i picked up a small amount of 'Naked 2' on my deluxe crease brush and just buffed away. I used my accent brush to smudge 'Crave' on the outta corner of my lower lash line.

♥ Dainty Doll Liquid Eyeliner on the upper lash line.

♥ Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Kohl Eyeliner in Black used to line the water line.

♥ Maybelline The Falsies Mascara in Black.

Brows

HD Brows Kit using Ash Brown from the Foxy Palette, i used my Real Techniques detailer brush as this brush is the perfect shape for my brows.

Lips

Natural Collection's Pink Mallow.

Hair

As always i used my Remington Pearl Curling Wand to curl my hair, I'm loving this style at the moment as the curls stay in for a good couple of days in my hair, which in the long run it means I'm using less heat on my hair.

Love Hayley xXxXx
