Max Factor Wild Mega Volume Mascara | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently Max Factor have brought out a new mascara... say hello to 'Wild Mega Volume' ha ha. It was on an introductory offer for £4.99 which i thought was fab considering lots of their other mascara's are usually £10 plus!!!

The mascara claims to give you 3 times more volume for high impact, high drama 'look at me' lashes instantly. Id say the mascara did give me a certain amount of volume but i wouldn't say it was high impact, to me it just feels like a good general day to day mascara that gives you slight volume, that isn't clumpy and is nice and black. However the 1 thing i will say that is amazing about this mascara is its staying power, it literally doesn't smudge or flake at all and looks exactly them same at night when I'm about to cleanse as it did in the morning when it was applied, even with the hot weather we've had in the UK recently it hasn't budged, for me that's definitely a huge plus as there's nothing worse than a smudgy flaky mascara.

The brush itself is an easy to use hourglass shaped bristle brush, it allows you to really wriggle the brush at the root of your lashes without stabbing yourself in the eye like i always do with those horrible rubber/plastic brushes.

The formula is really nice, i found it applied really quickly and gave the right amount of coverage on the lashes without it being clumpy and even though this mascara doesn't give the amount of volume i was expecting i do still really like it and would re purchase.

Have you tried this mascara?? What did you think??

Face Of The Day | My Everyday Makeup

I thought id do a little post on what makeup I'm currently using on a daily basis. Id like to say i don't wear too much makeup on a daily basis, just the basic staples. I do always get myself in a little routine of the same products for a while and then switch it up abit if I'm getting bored or if I've purchased a few new goodies. Anywhoo here's the run down of the current products I'm using.

♥ Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation in '100 Ivory'

♥ Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer in '010 Ivory'

♥ Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in 'Medium', I'm only using this to powder over my Concealer to set it into place at the moment.

♥ Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in 'Soft Pink'

HD Brows Kit in ' Foxy' using 'Ash Brown'

♥ Urban Decay NAKED Basics palette using 'Naked 2' all over the lid and 'Faint' in the crease, then i defined my upper lash line with 'Crave' instead of going for liquid liner.

♥ Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner in 'Black'

♥ Rimmel's Glam'EYES Day 2 Night Mascara in 'Black'

♥ Revlon Lip Gloss in 'Kiss Me Coral'

I hope you enjoyed this type of post girlie's.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush | Review & Swatches

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently I've been trying to add more cream blushes to my blush collection, I find in the Spring/Summer months i steer away from powder products and opt for more cream based products for that more dewy look. Id heard alot of good things about 'Max Factor's Miracle Touch in Soft Pink' so i decided to pick one up for myself and give it a go.

My first impressions of this before even opening it was how basic that packaging was, it has a plastic screw lid that likes to unscrew itself when it's in your makeup bag or handbag and it's the kind of packaging that i think will break very easily.

The blusher itself happens to be amazing, it has such a soft, creamy formula that almost feels like a balm and it just blends out onto the cheeks a treat, its in no way a cream to powder finish blush nore is it too creamy that it just slips off your face during the day, its just the most perfect finish that leaves you looking healthy and dewy.

I found this blush to have great pigmentation, you only need a small amount and you can build the blush up as much as you like for your desired look. The lasting power is also great, on me it lasts a good 7 hours before i think i could use a touch up which i think is fab.

I love the fact this shade 'Soft Pink' has no shimmery particles running through it all, I'm really not a fan of that. As for the other colour's in the collection id say they are quite limited, The Max Factor stand in my Superdrug only stocked 3 other shades of this Miracle Touch Blush so I'm not sure how many colours their are in the whole collection or if its just the 4 that they do, I have to say none of the other colours really tickled my fancy so id say 'Soft Pink' is the way to go ha ha.

These blushes retail for £6.99 which i think is great for an amazing quality blush, i can definitely see this blusher being a staple in my everyday makeup routine for a while.

Have you tried this blush??? What did you think??

Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara Review

Hey girlie's!!!! After seeing that Max Factor had brought out a new mascara in their False Lash Affect range i was rather excited as i LOVE the original False Lash Effect mascara. Not long after the clump defy was launched i picked one up and its fair to say i wasn't disappointed.

The Claim: Clump Defy gives you super volume, stroke after stroke and beautifully separated defined lashes, without clumping, thanks to its new revolutionary brush with evenly spaced defining bristles and a curved shape to achieve mega volume.

The Result: It defiantly lives up to its claim, i love this mascara. It gave me super separated lashes with lots of volume without a clump in sight and my lashes where super black too. The lasting power was great, my lashes looked exactly the same as they did at silly o'clock in the morning and i had no flaking at all either. There was no struggle to remove this in the evening either i just used my normal cleansing routine.

There was a couple of small things that didn't tickle my fancy, the first being the plastic bristled brush! Ive never been a fan of these sort of brushes as i find them quite sharp and spiky and as i like to wriggle the mascara wand from the root of my lashes i can find it quite painful at times but if I'm careful this brush is fine, the second thing is that as this mascara promises not to clump, the formula will be on the thinner side so the brush wont load up as much product so it takes longer too do your lashes when applying your makeup but apart from that this mascara is great and id defiantly purchase this again.

The mascara retails for around £10.99 depending on special offers.

Much Love Hayley xXxXx
