30 Day Snap #30 | Sunny Sunday ☼

Hey girlie's!!

So today is the very last day of the 30 day snap. I'm not gonna lie, its definitely been a challenge getting these posts up everyday but I'm so pleased that i stuck with it and didn't quit half way. 

It's been so nice discovering other girlie's blogs as well whilst I've been taking part in the snap. I also love the fact that its been a great way for me to document a small part of my life and i can look back on what I done throughout June 2013, i love making photographic memories.

Anywhooo here's today's snap....

Its been a beautiful day in Norfolk today, i have no idea where this hot sunny weather has come from but it would be lush if stuck around for abit longer. Today i was at work again but it went quite quick and as soon as i locked up i saw Michael was waiting for me so we decided to head into Weatherspoons for some food which i quickly demolished ha ha, we then took a slow walk home enjoying some sunshine, well you have to make the most of it in this country don't you?

So this is my unhappy working weekends sucks face!!! Weekends are literally non existent if like me you work in the retail world and some time's it really drives me mad. However... Tonight i plan on having a mega chill out sesh with a takeaway and movies so its not all bad ha ha.

Today i decided to do some baking, i love to bake and as i haven't really done any for a while i thought id have a mooch through my cupboards to see what i could rustle up. I love this picture/quote, its so true that no matter how old you are you can never resist a good Disney movie and as i was watching some today i thought it was quite fitting to share. Today has been a major chill out day for me, i haven't felt great so thought id just rest up on my day off  before work tomorrow. I don't very often get the time to just sit and relax and watch Disney movies so I've actually really enjoyed today.

Yesterday whilst out with my Mum i picked up a few more cute little bits for my house, I'm terrible when it comes to cute little decorations, i just love them. I thought id share with you what  some of it looks like as i think this shelf of my shelving unit looks super pretty. I've also been having a major rearrange in my house as well so i find myself buying more cute little bits at the moment ( my purse hates me ). Luckily for me my boyfriend kinda let's me do what i like to the house as long as i don't touch his game room, which is fine by me ha ha.

Today i spent the day with my lovely mum. I have a great relationship with my mum, shes like my bestie bless her and as i don't get to see her that often we decided to spend the day together. We done a little shopping which resulted in me buying little decorations for my house and no makeup ( what a shocker!!! ) and also went out for a yummy carvery and i even left enough room for a yummy chocolate fudge dessert , as you do ha ha.

Today I've been chilling indoors as quite frankly the weather has been atrocious, i minuete its been blue skies and sunshine the next minuete its been pitch black clouds with pouring rain, so I've played it safe by just staying inside. I have been feeling slightly sad that I'm not at IMATS this weekend, i really wanted to go but the fact of leaving everything last minuete and not having the money saved stopped me from going, i will definitely be going next year though without a doubt.

Today is my gorgeous Alfie's 2nd Birthday. As you may be able to tell Alfie is like my child but in the doggy world ha ha, I'm a huge dog lover anyway and the fact that Alfie is my very first pet of my own since leaving my parents house makes me love him more ha ha. He's been spoilt so far today with toys and bones and is currently driving me mad with his squeaky toy ,I'm gonna regret buying him that in a while ha ha.

Here's me swimming in the sea in Menorca in 2010, me and Michael went there for a week and it was one of the best weeks ever!!!! It was my day off work today so this morning i done the normal boring things like doing housework and catching up on washing then this afternoon i decided to do some bits and bobs in the garden. Its been so hot and muggy the last couple of days but its been cloudy and overcast but as if by some Harry Potter magic the sun finally made an appearance this afternoon, yippee. As you can see i had my little monster helping me in the garden today, what i actually mean by helping is Alfie decided to pull bits off of a holly bush i have, crazy dog. My flowers are all out in bloom now which makes me very happy, it looks so pretty. I also couldn't resist buying the cutest bird box I've ever seen, i mean how adorable it that!!!! I also found some time to write up some blog posts too, what a productive day I've had he he.

As for the rest of today, i was at work all day and then came to home to do the weekly food shop so nothing exciting there ha ha, Its also been really hot/humid today i think a mega storm could be on the way.

Recently Ive been alot more adventurous when it comes to my lipstick or lip gloss shades, usually i go for something nude or natural that isn't too noticeable but I've been loving the braver side of myself recently and just going for it with the ole lipsticks ha ha. Today i wore my Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush, its one of those moisturising stains which i love as that means i don't have to keep topping it up, I'm so lazy when it comes to lipstick or gloss top ups so this little beauty is my definitely my friend at the moment.

So today its Father's Day!!! Unfortunately i haven't been able to see my dad today due to me working most of the day and as i don't live in the same town as my parents anymore its hard to be able to just 'pop over' to see them when i like, i did make sure that he got a card though, i made him one online which turned out really good and he said he loved it 'yay'. Anywhooo i thought id share one of my favourite pictures of me and my dad, we was on holiday in Butlins and all i can remember is that i had the most amazing time.

Today i decided to treat myself and have a yummy bowl of Lucky Charms for breakfast. This might seem bizarre to some people as its only cereal but for us in the UK they are hard to come by and blooming expensive when you do find them, although...... Recently the Tesco in my town has started to stock them for £5.00 a box, yes that's right £5 precious pounds!!! Now you can see why having these for breakfast is such a treat ha ha.

So i finally had a day off work today and these four little pictures pretty much sum up my day. I took a walk in the sunshine this morning to get some food bits from Tesco then when i got home i done some more gardening, I'm so happy that my pretty flowers have started coming out despite the awful weather we've had so far. Then i got a major surprise from my boyfriend Michael, he text me saying he'd be late home from work as the alarms where playing up!! Little did i know he was actually going into town to get me a camera that i had been wanting for a while to improve the quality of my blog pictures, i was so happy and surprised i nearly cried ha ha. Then i finished the day off with a yummy chocolate eclair, cant get better than that really he he.

Yes... Here's me being silly in my big geeky glasses that i love ha ha. I got these from the men's section in Matalan a longggg time ago, they where on sale for £1 and i couldn't resist at that bargain price. For some reason when i wear these glasses i go into hyper silly mode, haven't a clue why, but i do. I would never have dreamt of getting these glasses in the past and it was only really because of the bargain price that i bought them but it just goes to show  that going out of your comfort zone can pay off and put a smile on your face!!!
