My New Favourite Foundation Is £2.99 - I Can't Beleive It Either!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while you will know I'm quite the Technic Cosmetics fan, not only is their makeup super affordable but I've found some absolute gems along the way! Of course every now and again I'll come across a product I'm not as keen on but most of the time they come up trumps and they certainly did when it came to their Pro Finish Serum Foundation!
I'll admit I can be super picky with my foundations and although I do use mostly drugstore foundation I wouldn't usually touch one that's as cheap as £2.99, as my immediate thought would be 'that will be rubbish' but wow Technic have shut me up this time as their Pro Finish Serum Foundation is my new favourite!

The foundation comes in six shades which yes - that is a bit naff - theres three lighter shades, Porcelain, Ivory and Beige and three darker shades, Mocha, Honey and Chestnut! I actually have to mix shades Porcelain and Ivory together to get my perfect shade, so it's definitely all about mixing and matching with this foundation!
The foundation itself has a natural, dewy finish, with a light yet buildable coverage that is long lasting yet super lightweight, I literally feel like I'm wearing nothing when I have this foundation on, it's really lovely. After giving this a good test  I have to say the resemblance this Technic Foundation has to MAC's Face and Body Foundation is uncanny, it's just like it. It has a thin, water like constancy which is so easy to build up if you wish, and it has that 'your skin but better' look to it which I love! It also never creases on me and NEVER goes cakey which is a major plus, I think that's because it's just so lightweight on the skin! So if your after a Face and Body dupe... Technic is where the parties at!
(From top to bottom...Porcelain, Ivory and Beige)
I think this a great all rounder foundation too meaning it would work well during all times of the year, it's a great choice for the Spring and Summer months because of how lightweight it is then in the winter months the serum formula really helps with the dryness we can suffer from and it gives the skin an ever so slight healthy glow! For £2.99 a pop you really cant go wrong, I'm completely shocked at just how much I like this foundation and how good it actually is! What a beauty bargain!

Have you tried this foundation beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

My Thoughts On The Maybelline 24 Hour Superstay Foundation!

Hey beaut's!

After hearing so many positive things about the Maybelline 24 Hour Superstay Foundation I thought it was about time I gave it a whirl, I must admit for some reason I never buy Maybelline foundations so I really had no idea what to expect but the fact it was on a 2 for £12.00 deal gave me the extra insentive to finally try it!
The foundation itself has 17 shades to choose from - well on the Superdrug website theres 17 shades to shop I'm not 100% sure on how many shades are available in store - I opted for the shade 03 True Ivory which is one of the lightest shades from the range, it does match me ok but could do with being slightly more pink for my undertone, I actually found it quite hard to match myself up if I'm honest but hey what else is new, I really want these brands to up their game now with foundation shades as most of them are pretty ridiculous aren't they!
The foundation claims to have a soft matte finish, has full coverage that will transform your skin, is suitable for all skin types and has 24 hour wear...now that's some pretty bold claims and claims that I like the sound of, so out came my beauty blender and I whacked it on my face. Now I've been using this foundation around 3 weeks now I do like it but there is one thing I so dislike which I'll get onto shorty. Firstly lets talk about the coverage...Theres no denying this foundation covers well and it defiantly makes my skin look pretty incredible even if I do say so myself, and for a full coverage foundation it's so lightweight and thin feeling on the skin which is a major bonus for me as I hate the feeling of a thick or heavy foundation but this is surprisingly light. The foundation does have a really nice semi-matte finish which is perfect for me and my combination skin and I never find that it clings or exposes any dry patches on my face which is another bonus, and the lasting power is very good too, my skin generally looks the same at the end of the day from when I put my makeup on in the morning and my other base makeup seems to sit so well on top of it, my T-zone is generally a bit oily at the end of the day but that happens with most of my foundations!
The only negative I really have about the formula of this foundation is that it does really oxidise on my skin during the day, it gets a shade or two darker as the day goes on which is so annoying, it's quite strange really as I never have problems with foundations oxidising but hey I guess theres a first for everything. Apart from that I do really like everything about this fundation, the formula is nice and blends well with a beauty blender or makeup brush, the coverage is amazing, it lasts really well, I do think most skin types would get on with the formula unless you where super dry. I like the packagaing too, it comes in a glass bottle with a pump which is another added bonus! The price is ok, it's £9.99 but if you can get it on the 2 for £12.00 deal it makes it such a bargain at just £6.00 a bottle!

Have you tried this foundation before beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation Review!

Hey beaut's!

I have been absolutely loving Revolution's base makeup launches over the last few months and I think it's fair to say I'm not the only one, I've tried both of Revolution's concealers and the stick foundation and really liked them all especially the concealers but now theres a new kid on the block in the shape of a foundation, ohhhh! That's right the Conceal & Define Concealer now has an older sister so say hello to the Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation!
Just like the concealer the foundation has a crazy amount of shades to choose from, 24 to be precise which is just incredible! Ranging from fair to deep, in cool, pink, neutral and warm undertones - there really is a shade for everyone, I think that's chuffing amazing for a high street beauty brand and I really praise Revolution for doing this! I have the foundation in the shade F4 which is for light skin tones with a pink undertone and it matches me perfectly, Revolution also have a full run down of the shades on their website if your unsure what shade you might be.
The foundation itself claims to be lightweight yet buildable, oil-free yet creamy and comfortable, long-lasting with a demi-matte finish that won’t settle into any fine lines or cling to dry patches, sounds pretty amazing right - I couldn't wait to whack it on my face! I have to admit as soon as I started blending in the foundation on my very first application I was loving it, it blends into the skin with complete ease (I use a beauty blender by the way) and the coverage is mega good, it's definitely more on the full side of things and a little of the foundation goes a long way too! The foundation does claim to have a demi-matte finish but I would say it's more on the matte side that demi-matte so if your looking for a bit of a glow you wont really get that from this foundation. Despite being matte I didn't find the foundation heavy or cakey in any way and it wears on my skin really well, my skins quite combination at the moment and I never have any oily/shiny patches come up when I wear this but I do notice that it does cling to a little dryness I have around my nose which isn't a biggy but something to bare in mind! The foundation seemed to last on me for around 7 hours before it had started to wear off slightly on my chin which I think is a pretty good wear time and I never powdered my skin either because I felt that natural matte finish that the foundation has was enough for me!
The only thing I don't really like is the applicator...it has a jumbo doe foot style applicator which holds the product much like how a concealer does and then you spread/dot it around your face that way, personally I don't find it very hygienic and I would of much preferred a pump to be honest, however it is quite a controlled way to use the foundation and I cant see how I'll waste much of the foundation because I cant accidentally pump too much out so theres always that. The bottle however is gorgeous, it has quite heavy glass bottle which is frosted which makes it feel so much more expensive and luxurious!

Overall I've been bloody loving this foundation and I'm so glad I picked it up to try, in terms of the formula it ticks all of the foundation boxes for me and the fact theres 24 shades to choose from is just amazing!

Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation First Impressions

Hey beaut's!

I think it's fair to say all of us Makeup Revolution lovers went slightly gaga over their Conceal and Define Concealer, it took me bloody ages to get hold of that bad boy and after trying it I saw why, because it's so, so good! Shortly after the concealer launch Makeup Revolution or Revolution (I'm not sure what name their going by these days lol) launched their very first stick foundation and I couldn't wait to try it. To my surprise I managed to nab myself the Fast Base Foundation in Superdrug a week ago so I thought I'd do a cheeky first impressions on it today!
Just like the concealer the foundation has a whopping 18 shades ranging from fair to deep, in cool, neutral and warm undertones, I think is amazing and would love to see this more from other brands! I opted for the shade F3 in the foundation because I'm C3 in the concealer for the blemishes on my face and C1 for my under eye concealing and I'd heard that the shades match up to each other. F3 is for fair skin tones with a pink undertone which is what I have but it is a smidge light and I think I could of definitely gone a shade darker but it's nothing a bit of bronzer doesn't fix so I'm not entirely sure if the concealer and foundation shades do match up exactly the same.
I've never used a stick foundation before so this was all completely new to me, they always reminded me of those horrible dry concealer sticks I used to use when I was about 14 which never blended at all so I always stayed clear however the Makeup Revolution Fast Base Foundation is not dry at all, instead it's super, super creamy and melts onto the skin when you swipe it on, and it blends so easily with a beauty blender or foundation brush but I prefer using my beauty blender if I'm honest. The coverage is good, I'd say medium but buildable and the finish is very dewy which I like, the only thing I'm finding so far is that the foundation stays tacky on my skin and does settle into my smile lines so I do have to set it with a bit of powder but after it's set it doesn't move, go dry or patchy on me at all.
Overall I've been really liking this foundation so far and for £5.00 it's such a bargain isn't it! It's so creamy and blendable, has a good amount of coverage without looking too OTT or cakey, I would say if you have particularly oily skin then this may not be the foundation for you because it is so dewy I fear it may move around on oily skin. My skins been pretty normal recently although I do have the odd dry patch and the foundation doesn't cling to those patches which is a brucie bonus! I really want to grab one of the darker shades now to try some cream contouring, ohhhh look at me being all daring he he!

Shopping My Stash!

Hey beaut's!

If your saw my Money Saving Tips blogpost last week then you may have seen that one of my tips was to shop your stash more and make use of some old favourites within your makeup collection...Well I took my own advice and had a dig through my Alex drawers and popped a couple of oldies but goodies back into my makeup bag to get some use out of them again and I thought I'd share them with you today!

Firstly I knew I needed to take a look at my base makeup, for some reason my skin is really all over the place right now and my usual foundation and powder combination had started to look cakey and just wasn't lasting well like it usually does, so I decided to go back to my old faithful Rimmel Stay Matte Setting Powder and thought I'd try L'Oreal's Infallible Foundation again. The reason the L'Oreal Infallible Foundation was back in my makeup storage was because it was a smidge too dark for me however I got it back out again and tried it and actually it looks perfect especially when my whole base is done, and wow I'd forgotten what an amazing foundation it is, it's lightweight, long lasting, has great coverage and more importantly it doesn't make me look cakey, woohoo! As for the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, I have no idea why I ever put in back in my makeup storage because I bloody love it, it's the best powder on the high street for sure!

I'm quite a creature of habit when it comes to my highlighter, when I find one that I love I tend to stick to it and don't reach for any of my other pretty highlighters and I'd totally forgotten about my beloved Mary Lou by the Balm...I know how could I, please to don't un-follow me now ha ha! I have been using my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray for a while now and seeing as it's getting low I thought I'd get my Rimmel #Insta Fix & Go back out and I'm loving it, I forgot how refreshing it was and just how well it keeps my makeup set into place. Finally I knew I needed to switch up my eyeshadow palettes, I've literally used nothing but my Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette for the last couple of months because the formulation is just to die for so I knew I had to stick to Too Faced, so I got my Merry Maccarons Palette back out! I forgot how much I loved the shades in this palette, their so easy to work with and perfect for quick looks before I go to work!

What hidden gems have you rediscovered recently beaut's? I'd love to know!

February Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

Thankfully February went a lot quicker than January, my goodness that was a long month wasnt it. I've been wishing February away to be honest, I've been waiting to take my final weeks holiday from work before the new working year starts, that week has now arrived and I have a lovely week off with my boyfriend as of now and I'm so excited about it.

Anyway I'm going to kick this months favourites off with the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer. This stuff is like bloody gold dust, I was going into every Superdrug for weeks trying to track this beauty down in my shade but finally I got my paws on shades C1 and C3 to try. So far I'm really impressed with the concealer and can see why it's been so ruddy popular, the coverage is great, it's so creamy and just melts into the skin, I'll be doing a full review soon so watch this space. Sticking with base makeup Rimmel's Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation has been my go to for the last few weeks, it's so lightweight that it honestly feels like I'm wearing nothing, the coverage isn't to heavy making it the perfect day to day foundation for me.
Scent wise, Zoella's Blissful Mistful has been keeping me smelling lovely even if I do say so myself, I actually only got this scent in January but have been obsessed ever since and I think it's my favourite scent Zoe does, it super fresh and floral and I can see myself wearing it loads through Spring! Ok... I'm actually head over heels in love with Benefit's KA-BROW Brow Pomade, I've always been a brow powder/pencil kinda gal but this Benefit pomade has been a game changer and really upped my brow game, it somehow just transforms my brows making them look absolutely perfect, I don't know how it does it but I LOVE it! For my nails I've been loving  a couple of nail paints by good ole Bazza M, the shades Strawberry Laces and Pink tail have been perfect for me whilst I'm transitioning from my Winter shades to more Spring appropriate shades because I'm longing for Spring now!
My final favourite this months is my Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette! I love this palette so much and it never leaves my makeup bag, not only is the shade range amazing for any occasion day or night but the quality of these shadows is incredible, and it still smells super yummy and peachy even though I've had my palette 2 years now!

What have you been loving this month beaut's? I'd love to know!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation First Impressions

Hey beaut's!

I'm a huge lover of Rimmel foundations, in fact I'd actually go as far as saying they are my favourite brand in the drugstore for foundations, so when I saw they had a new foundation out I knew I'd have to give it a whirl! Lucky for me I actually had just over £9.00 worth of Boot's point on my advantage card so I decided to use them and finally grab the Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation to try, don't you just love it when that happens! I've been using the Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation everyday now for just over a week and I thought I'd share my first impressions with you all today!
The Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation claims to be lightweight, buidlable, long wearing with a medium coverage - all things that I like and look for in a foundation. I have to admit as soon as I started blending in the foundation on my very first application I was loving it, it blends/melts into the skin with complete ease and honestly feels like I'm wearing nothing, it's so lightweight and kind of thin feeling if that makes sense. The coverage is pretty impressive too and totally not what I was expecting from and lightweight - breathable foundation, it covers so well I'd go as far as saying it's more medium+ depending on what you use to apply it. It sets beautifully to a natural, semi dewy - satin finish which is my absolute favourite kind of finish, and again theres no heavy , tacky feeling once the foundation has set. As for lasting power, the breathable foundation claims to last up to 25 hours but lets just be real, I don't think any foundation can be on the skin that long and still be slaying but it does hold up well on a working day, I don't find that it goes patchy or breaks down on my t-zone where I get slightly oily at the moment.
The only thing I don't like about this foundation isn't the formula but the applicator...it has a large doe foot style applicator which holds the product much like how a concealer does and then you spread/dot it around your face that way, personally I don't find very hygienic and I would of much preferred a pump to be honest, however it is quite a controlled way to use the foundation and I cant see how I'd waste much of the foundation like how I can sometimes if I pump too much out so theres always that.

Overall I've been bloody loving this foundation and I'm so glad I picked it up to try, I imagine it will work perfectly in the Spring/Summer months too as it's just so lightweight. Theres also a concealer within the Breathable range too which I want to try now, I have quite high hopes for that now after trying the foundation!

Makeup That I Need To Use More In 2018

Hey beaut's!

More often than not I forget about some absolute makeup gems within my collection, I'm such a makeup addict and buy so much makeup I just cant keep track of what I've got sometimes, and that means I miss out on using some gorgeous pieces even though their sat in my Alex drawers. I recently had a bit of a makeup clear out and organisation and picked out a few products that I know I definitely want to get some use of again so I thought I'd share them with you all today!
I switch up my lipsticks all the time and often forget about the 10 swimming in the bottom of my handbag but one I definitely need to use more this year is MAC's Whirl. Whirl is such a 90's throwback shade and is the prettiest medium-dark rosy brown with warm undertones and a matte finish, it looks lovely on and I cant believe I forget about it. Next up is a couple of foundations, I'm a creature of habit when it comes to my foundations and just repurchase my favourites over and over which means I don't get to use all the others I own, but two that I know I LOVE and need to get more use of is L'Oreal's Lumi Magique and the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. These are both extremely good foundations, the Lumi Magique is super glowy, very light weight, silky soft, blends into the skin well and provides hydration all day and the Born This Way Foundation has AMAZING coverage without feeling heavy or cakey at all. Next is my Technic Metalix Eyeshadow Cream, I actually own three of these, two of which I use loads but the third in the shade Taupe Be has actually been lost for a while so that's why I need to get more use out of this beauty, I'm so happy I found it because the formula and colour payoff of these is insane!
Arhhh the adorable Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette...I haven't used this much because in all honestly I wasn't blown away with the formula but I mean just look at it, it contains the most stunning looking powders which I NEED to make work this year. The highlighter shade creates a lovely peachy-champagne glow, the blush is the most beautiful shade of peach and is super dewy looking and the bronzer is nice and warm, I just need to become friends with the formula again and we will be fine hehe.

Finally we have the Kat Von D Shade and Light Eyeshadow Palette, I can honestly say these matte eyeshadows are the BEST quality matte eyeshadows I have ever used or owned. They are so well pigmented and blend like an absolute dream, matte shades can be chalky sometimes too and create a lot of fallout but these aren't chalky what so ever, I'm definitely going to use this beauty more this year!

What makeup from your collection do you want to use more of this year? I'd love to know beaut's!

My Favourite Foundations For The Summer!

Hey beaut's!

During the Summer months I love a good lightweight foundation that's going to hold up well in the warmer weather and still have that dewy look to it. I know matte foundations are preferred by lots during the warmer weather but I have dryer skin so something more dewy always works best for me so today I thought I'd talk all about my favourites!

Rimmel foundations are incredible, their so affordable but amazing in quality too! Their Match Perfection Foundation has been re-purchased by me countless times, it has a weightless, smooth texture and medium-buildable coverage that blends with the skins real tone instead of masking it, it literally evens everything out whilst making me look completely radiant, I love it. Another favourite of mine from Rimmel in the Summer is their 9 in1 BB Cream. This stuff is incredible, it feels light enough to be some sort of skincare product - you literally cant feel it on your skin at all, it minimises the appearance of pores, smooths, brightens, conceals and covers, contains SPF 25, lasts all day and is literally heaven in a bottle!
Keeping with foundations from the drugstore L'Oreal's Lumi Magique is lovely, it's great for dryer skin types like mine and it's light infusing which means it gives luminosity to the skin and really adds a beautiful subtle glow which I love in the Summer. The formula is very light weight, silky soft, blends into the skin well and provides hydration all day which is perfect for me. Moving onto something slightly more pricey - MAC's Face and Body! I think this foundation is pretty much a staple in most makeup lovers collection, it's literally as light as water on the skin, super dewy and healthy looking and even though the coverage is very light it builds up so well until you get the coverage you desire, perfect if you've got a tan and just want to even things out slightly! Finally theres Joan Collins First Base Foundation. This is my current go to foundation at the moment, it has a medium coverage, it smooths over my pores and fine lines whilst still feeling super lightweight and comfortable on my skin, it has a natural finish with a glow that never looks heavy or cakey and I've not experienced any clinging to my dry patches either, it literally perfect for me!

What's your favourite foundation to wear in the Summer? I'd love to know!

July Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

It's monthly favourites time....I cant quite believe another month has whizzed past already, it's crazy how quick the time goes! I must admit I'm kind of over Summer now, I've never really been a Summer girl to be honest, I'm all about Autumn and Winter, how about you?
This month I have a whole heap of new finds that have quickly turned into favourites, firstly I have to talk all about my beautiful Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette! Now I know this is a bit of cheat because I've only been using the Heat Palette for just over a week now but I couldn't not feature it because it's the best thing I've put on my eyeballs in July hands down! It's crammed full of stunning warm tones that will see me through the rest of Summer and then the Autumn and the quality is amazing, check out my first impressions and swatches HERE beaut's! For lips I've been obsessed with the Kylie Jenner Liquid Lipstick in Candy K, this is such a stand out liquid lipstick for me because it isn't super drying like the other liquid lippies I have, it lasts like nothing else - I'm talking all day through eating, drinking, kissing and the colour is the prettiest pinky nude which is right up my street. Base makeup wise the Joan Collins First Base Foundation teamed with the PUR Skin Perfecting Foundation Brush is like a match made in heaven for me. The foundation is just beautiful, it has a medium coverage, it smooths over my pores and fine lines whilst still feeling super lightweight and comfortable on my skin, it has a natural finish with a glow that never looks heavy or cakey and I've not experienced any clinging to my dry patches either, it literally perfect for me! The PUR oval brush though (insert love heart eyes emoji), it's literally the best thing I've ever blended my foundation in with, I'm talking flawless blending in about 5 seconds, it's incredible! My final favourite this month is the Rimmel #Insta Fix & Go Makeup Priming & Setting Spray, I love a good makeup spray and Rimmel's offering keeps things set and looking cake-free all day, I love it!

What have you been loving this month beaut's?? I'd love to know

Feel Unique Pick 'N' Mix Sample Service Review #2

Hey beaut's!

You might remember back in March I placed my very first order with Feel Uniques Pick 'N' Mix sample service, getting some great samples from brands such as NARs and Benefit, I absolutely loved the service and couldn't wait to order again. Recently when having a browse at Feel Uniques latest samples I noticed they had loads from Charlotte Tilbury so I placed an order pretty sharpish!
To use the Feel Unique Pick 'N' Mix Sample Service all you have to do is choose five beauty samples out of the hundreds of samples they have to choose from, I actually couldn't believe how much choice their was, whether your looking for makeup, skincare, hair or fragrance theres a sample for it, all of which are high end brands/well known names. The samples don't cost you a penny but the delivery and handling is £3.95 however...once your order has been dispatched you receive an email with a voucher code worth £3.95, you can then use this on the Feel Unique website the next time you place an order, so really it's not costing you a thing woohoo.
The first sample I knew I wanted to try was the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation, I've heard so many good things about this so I thought it was about time I gave it a whirl, so far I bloody love it. As you can see most of my samples are made up by Charlotte Tilbury, I did go a little bit crazy when I saw her products where available on there he he, I also got the Magic Foundation and the The Retoucher Concealer both of which I've had samples of before but I wanted to give them another go again before I commit to buying the full size versions. They also had the Mini Miracle Eye Wand too which has an eye lifting cream at one end and concealer/brightener at the other so I thought I'd give that a try too. The final sample I went for was the Benefit KA Brow in shade 1, this is a cream/gel brow pomade which I've been eager to try for a while. The size of this a pretty generous to be honest and it even comes with a mini brush too so it's great for travelling.

You can find the Feel Unique Pick 'N' Mix Sample Service HERE.

Have you tried the Feel Unique Sample Service? What did you think? I'd love to know!

Luxury Face of the Day!

Hey beaut's!

The other day when I was doing my makeup I thought it would be kind of cool to whip out some of my luxury makeup and do my entire face with it all to see if there was much of a difference with wear and lasting power, this was actually super interesting for me as I never ever wear a full face of luxury makeup but I must admit my makeup did stay in place and looked pretty good all day without any patchiness! Anywho onto what I used....

Base
For my base makeup I kicked things off with MAC's Strobe Cream as a primer and MAC's Studio Sculpt Foundation, these two together give such a flawless glowy/dewy look to my skin which I'm all about. The MAC foundation is actually a shade too dark for me (I'm NW15, this foundation is NW20) so I can only really use it in the summer months when I have some colour to my skin, it's a shame I cant use this foundation all year round really because I adore the formula of this foundation. For concealer I used my Estee Lauder Double Wear in Light, this is super heavy duty concealer and covers so well yet it feels so lightweight on the skin, I'd totally recommend this if your looking for a heavy coverage concealer. To warm up my skin I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer and Benefit Rockateur Blush which are both in my Benefit Real Cheeky Party Tin that I got last crimbo and to highlight of course I used my trusty Mary-Lou Manizer which admittedly I use every single day without fail.

Eyes
For my eyes I used my very battered and bruised Urban Decay Naked Palette, I've had this palette for years, it was the very first luxury makeup item I ever got and I still love it and use it to this day. I'm really into the shade Sidecar at the moment, I've been wearing it all over the lid with some of Buck and Naked blended through the crease. For liner I went for my MAC Precision Liquid Liner to create my flicks and Benefit's Bad Gal Eyeliner on my waterline, and then I finished things off with a couple of coats of the Lancome Grandiose Mascara, which is an amazing mascara by the way!

Brows
For my brows I've been keeping things super simple and just filling in any gaps or real sparse area's with my Benefit Goof Proof brow pencil and then setting everything into place with the Benefit Gimme Brow, brow gel. These two work so well together and the Gimme Brow in particular is such a favourite of mine, its literally the best tinted brow gel I've ever tried and because it contains tiny micro fibres that adhere to skin and brow hairs it  creates natural-looking fullness and definition, so you never get that fake, blocky looking brow.

Lips
Lastly on my lips I went for my MAC Faux Lipstick which I've been obsessed with again recently, it's the perfect muted mauve/pink shade that goes with any makeup look day or night and the satin finish is my favourite.

What are your favourite luxury makeup items to use on a daily basis beaut's? Do you ever do a full face of luxury makeup? I'd love to know!
