Lip of the Day feat MAC and Barry M!

Hey beaut's!

It's been quite a while since I last done a lip of the day post so I thought I'd do one today with the lip combo I'm absolutely loving at the moment! I've actually worn this lip combo more or less everyday over last couple of weeks and have fallen in love with it all over again!

Firstly I lined my lips with the gorgeous Barry M lip liner in #15 Rose (£2.99). I picked up this shade because it's meant to be an exact dupe of MAC's Soar Lip Liner which I've been after for ages but it's always out of stock so Rose will have to do for the time being. As far as lip liners go I think Barry M done a bloody good job here, Rose is so velvety soft to apply whilst still being firm enough to create precise lines and the texture is stunning! I actually picked up another three Barry M lip liners after trying this one out because I was so impressed by the formulation!
The lipstick I went for to match up with the Barry M lip liner is another one of my favourites, Mac's Faux. Faux is a gorgeous muted mauve-pink with a satin finish which I find is the perfect shade for everyday wear and goes well with any makeup look, I love it! It matches perfectly with the Barry M lip liner and the two together are so long wearing, not to mention super pretty!
Whats your favourite lippie to rock at the moment beaut's? I'd love to know!

Roger & Gallet Rose Fragrant Wellbeing Water Review

Hey beaut's!

You may remember that back in February I reviewed the Roger & Gallet Precious Restoring Balm in the Rose scent and absolutely loved it so when I saw that they had a fragrance in the very same scent I couldn't wait to give it a whirl.
The Roger & Gallet Rose Fragrant Wellbeing Water* (£24.00) is inspired by a journey to Bengal, it reveals all the softness and femininity of a delicate rose flower and offers all the happiness of a soothing wellbeing, and oh my goodness this fragrance smells divine! If your a fan of floral scents then the Rose scent will be for you, it has a light, slightly sweet rose scent with peony and almond in there too, it honestly smells absolutely gorgeous. Because this is a fragrant water it provides a good amount of wear time on the skin but lasts a lot longer on clothing and I find the scent lingers well on me all day, I'm constantly getting whiffs of it throughout the day and teamed with the moisturiser it's incredible. My boyfriend is always saying how good I smell when I wear this and usually he never notices things like that so thats defintly a good indication to me that this is a fabulous scent. The scent itself isn't overpowering in the slightest despite being strong enough to last on me all day, it's also alcohol free and derived from natural ingredients and precious essences which I think is pretty cool.

Overall the Roger & Gallet Rose Fragrant Wellbeing Water is an absolute hit with me and I've been wearing it everyday since getting it, it's the prefect daytime summer fragrance and would be an essential in my suitcase if I was jetting off this year!

Have you tried any of the Roger & Gallet Fragrances? Which is your favourite? I'd love to know!

Roger & Gallet Precious Restoring Balm Review

Hey beaut's!

When it comes to moisturising my body I'm super lazy unless I find something that literally knocks my socks off, and after giving the new Roger & Gallet Precious Restoring Balm in Rose* a whirl I literally cant stop moisturising at the moment, which is an absolute first for me and my skin has been so thankful he he.

The new Roger & Gallet Precious Nourishing Body Balm's come in their three best selling fragrances, Fleur d’Osmanthus, Fleur de Figuier and Rose, all of which have been created to nourish, moisturise and pamper the skin whilst adding a beautiful yet gentle scent. I've been giving the Rose scent a whirl and it smells heavenly, inspired by the dream of an Indian Garden -Rose has a light, slightly sweet rose scent with peony and almond in there too, it's gorgeous and perfect for use during the up and coming Springtime!

The formula of the Roger & Gallet Precious Restoring Balm is luxuriously thick and creamy and is such an indulgent treat for dry and very dry skin. It's made from 95% natural ingredients, including precious oils of pure flowers and is enriched with Shea Butter to moisturise and repair the skin, Botanical Glycerine to improve the skins appearance making it feel more supple and smooth and finally Hyaluronic Acid which helps retain the moisture the balm is putting in. When I first went to use this body balm I grabbed quite a big scoop full which was totally the wrong thing to do because a tiny bit of this balm goes a very long way, and even though the balm is very thick in the tin I found the texture very light weight and when I was applying the balm it seemed to just melt straight into my skin within seconds and left my skin super, super soft without that horrible tacky feeling afterwards that thicker balms seem to usually leave. I have noticed such a huge improvement in my skin since I've been using this body balm, I suffer with dry skin patches anyway and the cold winter has made me very dry but now my dry patches are no more, they have literally vanished!
Overall I absolutely love the Roger & Gallet Precious Restoring Balm in Rose, it hasn't left my bedside table since I got it he he! I would highly recommend this body balm if your looking for a thick, luxurious cream come lotion that completely nourishes the skin leaving behind a beautiful scent for hours. If you not a fan of heavily scented body balms then this wont be for you but the formula is a definite hit none the less!

You can find the Roger & Gallet Precious Restoring Balm in Rose in Marks & Spencer for £17.00.

Lush Haul ♥

Hey beaut's!

On Friday me and the boyfriend took a little trip into Norwich and of course I popped into Lush! I literally only have two of my Lush Christmas Sale purchases left so a cheeky purchase of a bath bomb or two was well needed he he. I decided to pick up a couple of old favourites along with some Mothers Day and Easter goodies too.

Sex Bomb Bath Bomb £3.35
I've never tried a Sex Bomb bath bomb before and because it looks so pretty and girlie I decided to finally give it a go. It's said that it's best used  when your feeling tired, stressed out and anxious because the fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage really helps you relax and unwind. I cant wait to give this one a go and see if it does help when I'm anxious, I imagine my bath will be bright pink too he he.

Rose Bubble Bar £2.95
The Rose bubble bar caught my eye not only because it's pink, white and glittery but because it looks like a mini comforter doesn't it! Rose is actually in the limited edition Mothers Day collection and has a delicate rose scent and contains cocoa butter to soften the skin, I love the bubble bars that contain cocoa butter because at this time of the year my skins alot dryer so the cocoa butter really helps.

Creamy Candy Bubble Bar £2.75
Creamy Candy is an all time favourite of mine that I've been repurchasing for years so I thought I was due another, I just love the sweet candy floss scent teamed with the moisturising cocoa butter, it so lovely. Also look how big it is, usually Creamy Candy's are just small little slices but this one is alot bigger and square so I'll get a few baths out of this one woohoo!

Twilight Bath Bomb £3.35
Another old favourite of mine is Twilight, it was actually the first bath bomb I ever bought from Lush years ago and I've been obsessed with it ever since! The fragrance of Twilight is designed to help you sleep and is super calming, so it's a great one if your stressed or if you just want to get relaxed.

Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb £2.50
How cute is this little beauty! Hoppity Poppity is one of the all new Lush bath bombs that's being released for Easter and when I saw how sweet it looked I just had to buy it, I don't think I even have to heart to put it in my bath as I don't want to ruin it ha ha! Hoppity Poppity has a fresh, herbal fragrance with a little zing to it so I think it could be good used in the mornings to wake you up, it also contains popping candy which is always fun.

Mother Superior Bubble Bar £3.75
How sweet is the Mother Superior Bubble Bar, I couldn't resist that squinty little face ha ha. I really like the scent of Mother Superior, it's very floral and smells just like spring to me. This little beauty is another limited edition bubble bar so make sure you grab one before they go beaut's.

What Lush goodies have you picked up recently beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

Don't forget I'm currently giving away two NARS Radiant Cream Compact Foundation's, you can enter the giveaway here.

Barry M Glitter Nail Paints | Review & Swatches

As you may or may not know I'm a huge glitter polish fan, anything that sparkles I'm instantly drawn too and i usually have to buy, so i decided to pick 2 more little beauties up. I know these Glitter Jewel Nail Paints have been out for sometime and i do own a few from the collection but i thought 2 more wouldn't hurt he he.

Pink Sapphire is great for all those girlie girls out there that love abit of bright pink sparkle.
Its a clear base with minute bright pink glitter flecks in, the bigger glitter particles come in 2 shapes, hexagons and small chunks of bar type glitter.

The colours of all the glitters inside are so pretty, the small bars of glitter tend to be sliver and holographic and the hexagons are a bright pink with the odd hexagon that's silver and holographic too.

This makes a beautiful top coat for so many shades or even if you wanted to play it safe you could just go for a glittery ring finger instead.

Rose Quartz is absolutely crammed full of glitter and great if you want a burst of glitter on the nails. Rose Quartz is a clear base polish with minute holographic flecks and is also crammed with rose pink hexagon glitters inside.

I would use 1 coat as a more full on glitter top coat as there's so much glitter inside this polish  but 2 coats could give you complete sparkle mania nails.

On a whole I'm really impressed with these and they look so pretty. I brought mine from Superdrug for £2.99, what a bargain for such beautiful glitter polishes.

Have you tried any of these?? What did you think??
