Ariana Grande Moonlight Perfume Review

Hey beaut's!

Is anybody else so over their warm, musky winter fragrances now, because I know I am, I'm ready for all things Spring, and today's post on Ariana Grande's Moonlight Perfume has got me feeling those Spring, fruity - floral vibes! I absolutely love Ariana Grande but I've never tried one of here fragrances yet until now, I guess I thought they might be quite young for me but after trying it I can confirm it's actually very universal!
Moonlight by Ariana Grande* is a fruity, floral fragrance with splash of vanilla sweetness so it basically has a little bit of everything going on and I love it! It has top notes of blackcurrant and juicy plum for that fruity feel, heart notes of fluffy marshmallow and peony and the fragrance finishes off with base notes of sandalwood, amber and sensual vanilla! The notes in this fragrance all work amazingly well together, it's such a feminine scent without being too overpowering or young feeling and as I said before personally I think it's really universal! As for the lasting power - I felt the scent held up really well and I definitely always get whiffs of the fragrance on me all day long, I do go slightly mad when spraying perfumes on myself though, I'm one of those gals that has to spray perfume on my clothes as well as my neck and wrists, I feel like that always helps the longevity of a scent though, don't you?
And finally can we just take a second to admire how beautiful the packaging is, the bottle itself has a jewel like look to it with an iridescent finish and lilac accents, and how cute it that pom pom detail, I'm pretty sure these little pom poms come on all of Ariana's fragrances and they can be removed so you can attach them to your handbag, makeup bag etc if you wish! If your after trying out a new perfume for the Spring time I cant recommend this one enough, and with Valentines coming up this could be the perfect gift too a loved one or to yourself he he!

Moonlight is available in three sizes - 30ml, 50ml and 100ml and can be found from £22.45 on the Perfume Click website HERE.

Accessorize Happy Daisy Perfume Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm so ready for all things Spring and Summer now, I'm slowly but surely switching things up in my makeup bag, wardrobe and in my perfume caddy and putting those warm, musky scents to the back and pulling forward my more fruity, floral scents. You might remember that last year I got a bit obsessed with the Accessorize Love Lily Fragrance, I featured it in quite a few favourites posts last year and I'm even on my second bottle of it now so when I heard Accessorize had launched a brand new scent for this Spring/Summer called Happy Daisy I just had to give it a whirl!
Happy Daisy* is a floral, fruity fragrance with a tiny hint of musk so it basically has a little bit of everything going on and I love it! It definitely reminds me of the Accessorize Love Lily Fragrance because they both open up with juicy top notes of raspberry and orange and I can definitely tell they smell similar, but Happy Daisy has heart notes of pepper, violet, cyclamen and jasmine and then finishes with base notes of caramel vanilla, delicate musk, orris and sandalwood.
The scent of Happy Daisy itself is so easy and comfortable to wear, it has light hints of sweetness and mixed with the floral notes it's a match made in heaven. For me it's the perfect scent for everyday wear because it isn't too strong or overpowering, it's not one of those scents that's going to get stuck in the back of your throat that's for sure. The fragrance has good lasting power too despite being quite lightweight, I mean it's not going to last all day long but I get a good couple of hours out of this one and I can always smell those caramel vanilla notes within the fragrance on myself throughout the day too, it's so nice and I can defietly see myself getting so much wear out it from now on.
I love the bottle too, it's shape reminds me of a vintage perfume bottle that my Nan used to have when I was little, it looks so pretty and simplistic and is finished off a coral flower which is encased within the cap!

You can find the Happy Daisy  Eau De Parfum for RRP £19.00/75ml from Accessorize and The Perfume Shop

The Best Beauty Poundland Finds and Hacks!

 Hi beaut's!

I'm an absolute Poundland addict, mainly because every thing is an absolute bargain but you can actually find some amazing, good quality bits and pieces for around your home in there these days. Today I thought I would share what I do with a few of my Poundland finds, all of them are beauty related this time *well I am a beauty addict after all* he he.
Firstly how gorgeous is this little tray that I'm using for my perfumes, it's actually a mirror and not a perfume tray at all, but whilst I was browsing I spotted it and Poundland had actually stacked them up flat and immediately cute perfume tray ideas where swirling through my head. It isn't a huge mirror so you wouldn't be able to hold loads of perfumes on it, maybe just your seasonal ones but I love it. You could easily use it for makeup, nail polish and jewellery too.
Next up I have this little glass storage jar, the uses for this are literally endless from a pen pot, vase for your daffodils, cookie jar and even a cotton wool ball holder but I actually use mine as a makeup brush holder. It's a good size and fits loads of brushes within it and because it's clear glass you can find your brushes easily and it's super easy to keep clean when it gets grubby too, I love it!
Sticking to glassware I got a couple of these little trinkets which I thought where an amazing find, I use mine to store my cotton pads and cotton buds in because they look a lot nicer in my bathroom in the trinkets instead of the plastic packaging they come in. The trinkets are great for hair bands, bobby pins and jewellery too.
I spoke about these little white storage baskets on my Instagram a while ago because they are amazing for makeup storage inside my IKEA Alex drawers. You actually get two little baskets in a pack for £1.00 and you can fit five in one IKEA Alex drawer so I use mine to separate all of my makeup so I can get to everything so much quicker and easier!
Lastly is acrylic storage, Poundland actually have a really good range of acrylic makeup storage, I remember looking on Amazon and eBay for acrylic storage and thinking 'wow that's pricey' so when I came across a few in Poundland I had to get some. I opted for a nail polish holder which you could easily use for your lipsticks too, and then two other general makeup storage holders that I use for lipsticks, lip liners and smaller palettes.

What's your best Poundland find beaut's? I'd love to know!

Accessorize Love Lily Gift Set Review

Hi beaut's!

Summer is here which means I can wear fruity, floral scents until my little hearts content, one scent I've been loving a lot recently is Love Lily by Accessorize, I've actually been a huge lover of this perfume since the beginning of the year and now Accessorize have launched a gift set and added a Love Lily body lotion which I just had to get my paws on!
The Love Lily Gift Set* comes with a 75ml bottle of the Love Lily eau de parfum and a 100ml tube of Love Lily Body Lotion, both of which have a fresh, floral, fruity fragrance that opens up with juicy top notes of raspberry and orange, invigorated with a zesty accord of bergamot. At the heart of the fragrance is Muguet (lily of the valley) combined with Jasmine which work together to add a fresh and floral depth, then aromatic musks and sweet vanilla are united at the core of the fragrance.
As I said before Love Lily is a super fresh scent with hints of light sweetness which is perfect for everyday wear because it isn't too strong or overpowering, the fragrance has really good lasting power despite being quite lightweight and I can always smell the vanilla notes within it on myself throughout the day. It's definitely a girlie scent and reminds me of scents that I bought when I was younger when Britney Spears had about a million perfumes to choose from he he, that being said even now that I'm older I can still appreciate a gorgeous scent when I smell one and this really is right up my street. I love the bottle too, it's fuss free but still pretty and delicate with it's hexagonal glass shape and flower cap, it looks super cute on my dressing table.
The body lotion works just like any other standard body lotion really, it nourishes and moisturises but wearing the perfume and the body lotion together really intensifies the scent, I'd probably use this if I was going out in the evening for a more full on scent.

If your looking for an affordable, lightweight, fresh scent this Summer then Love Lily might just be for you, this is actually my second bottle of this perfume so as you can probably tell I bloody love it he he!

Top Notes - Strawberry, Violet Leaves
Middle Notes - Violet Petals, Jasmine Bouquet

3. Givenchy Amarige Givenchy Amarige is a new scent to me so I had no idea what to expect, from the notes I was thinking it was going to be a juicy, fruity scent but actually all I get is quite a musky, heavy, floral scent, definitely one for the more mature I think.

So...? Fragrance Mists Review

Hey beaut's!

So...? fragrances bring back a lot of memories for me, back in the day I used to wear their body sprays to school everyday and my Mum would buy me bottles of the stuff because I was that obsessed, but now So...? have only gone and upped their game and have bought out a range of gorgeous new fragrance mists - their was originally six in the collection but they've just released another six, so theres sure to be a scent to suit everyone!

The  So...? Fragrance Mists* are basically perfumes but in body mist form, their super long lasting but never overpowering. Within each bottle is 100ml's of product which produces over a whopping 600 sprays, each spritz creates a super fine mist which doesn't soak the skin or clothing and each bottle is relatively small in size, super lightweight and great for any on the go freshen-ups whether it be in your handbag, school bag or gym bag!
Out of the twelve within the collection I've been giving three a whirl, lets start with my favourite Vanilla this one is sweet, girlie and smells just like vanilla cupcakes of vanilla frosting, it honestly smells good enough to eat but please don't he he. Then theres Musk - this is more of a sophisticated scent that contains notes of bergamot, sandalwood and powdery musk which all create a pretty musky scent which you'd expect, I think this one a great for either nights out or Autumn/Winter time wear. And finally we have Rose Petals -  this one if great for any floral scented lover and is super feminine, it opens up with a bouquet of pink and white roses, before settling on a bed of lily of the valley, so perfect for Spring!

Overall I'm so impressed with these little beauties, they all smell incredible and you honestly would think these are actually perfumes and not body sprays, the lasting power is so good, I'd say a good 4-5 hours+ and I'm always getting whiffs of it throughout a working day, and as I said before these are really recognisable scents without being over powering! For £3.99 you seriously cant go wrong with these, so if your where a lover of So...? back in the day then I'd definitely recommend giving their mists a whirl!

The So...? Fragrance Mists retail for £3.99 each and are available online at Superdrug HERE and Boots HERE.

Blogmas Day 9 - My Winter Fragrances

Hey beaut's!

It's blogmas day nine.... And today I thought I would share a couple of my winter fragrances with you that I'm seriously loving at the moment! During the winter months I love to dig out my more musky, warm scents, theres just something so nice about wearing a more musky scent when it's cold and frosty isn't there.
My first pick is Ghost Deep Night, this has actually been a favourite of mine for years, I've literally gone through bottles of the stuff, it's a warm, dark, and woody scent that contains notes of Musk, Amber and Vanilla as well as a couple of fruity notes but the musk and vanilla are definitely most prominent in this scent. I like to wear Deep Night throughout winter either in the day or night and its lasting power is phenomenal too.

My second pick is YSL's Black Opium, I actually got this back in the Summer and knew straight away I would get so much use out of it during the winter months, it's a dark, musky, sexy, warm scent best used for nights out I think because it's so glamorous, so it would be perfect for any Christmas and New Years parties. I have actually been wearing this through the day just with one spritz alone because it is quite a powerful fragrance but I love it so much. Also can we appreciate how stunning the bottle is, it's gorgeous!

Finally I have Twilight Mist from Body Fantasies, I find this is actually the best way to wear a more musky scent throughout the day during winter time because Body Fantasies are actually a perfume body spray which means they are formulated with high concentrations of perfume quality fragrance which is super long lasting but never overpowering and are worn in the same way as a body spray, their brilliant! Twilight Mist contains notes of pure mandarin, magnolia and sandalwood creating a pretty musky scent with hints of fruitiness, it actually remind me a lot of Ghost's Deep Night, it's gorgeous!

What's your favourite winter fragrance beaut's? I'd love to know!

Blogmas Day 7 - Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

And welcome to blogmas day seven... It just wouldn't be Christmas if you didn't buy a fragrance for someone would it...  Sometimes Christmas shopping can be difficult especially when your trying to buy for someone who seems to have everything but the one thing that's sure to be a winner every time is a fragrance, I mean everyone loves to smell nice, right??? So today I've got the most gorgeous perfume gift set by Elie Saab which is sure to be a hit whether your buying for a family member, a loved one or even a friend.
The Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture Gift Set* (£44.20) contains a 50ml bottle of the Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture Eau de Toilette and two 75ml bottles of the Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture Body Lotion which all sit beautifully inside a pretty pink and gold gift box. The fragrance itself is gorgeously floral with a hint of sweetness, this comes from it's top notes of orange blossom, silky rose petals and peony. At the heart of the fragrance is rose nectar, fruity nuances, jasmine and vanilla so your still getting that floral, sweet scent half way through the wear time, then the fragrance finishes off with base notes of patchouli and sandalwood which give it an ever so slight woody edge, which I think really helps balance the fragrance out so it isn't sickly sweet. As for lasting power... I get a good 4-5 hours wear out of this one until I feel I could use a refresh but that's pretty impressive I think considering this is an eau de toilette, it's quite a noticeable scent too without being overpowering and people always ask me what perfume I have on when I wear this which is always nice, I love it when that happens he he.
As I said before this gift set also comes with two bottles of the Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture Body Lotion, this works just like any other body lotion really leaving the skin soft and smooth however...wearing the perfume and the body lotion together really intensifies the scent and adds extra lasting power, I'd probably use the two together if I was going out in the evening for a more full on scent.

Overall I absolutely adore the Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture scent and think it would be the prefect 'under the tree gift' for any lady/s in your life of all ages, it looks pretty, smells amazing - I just adore floral peony scents and I love the it's so versatile for day or nighttime wear.

You can find the Elie Saab Le Parfum Rose Couture Gift Set £44.20 on the Escentual website HERE.
