Dr.Lipp Christmas Gift Sets

Hey beaut's!

With Christmas literally just around the corner, Dr.Lipp have a couple of gift sets that could be perfect for that person in your life that always says their suffering from the dreaded dry, chapped skin and lips at this time of the year, or if your suffering yourself these could be little presents to yourself he he.
Firstly we have the Dr.Lipp Original Nipple Balm Six Pack* (£25.00), this is for the Dr.Lipp addicts out there as it contains 6 mini tubes of their multi-award-winning Nipple Balm, which means you can have a mini balm on you at all times - in your pocket, handbag, makeup bag and on your work desk, heck you'll even have a couple of back ups! I've actually used the Nipple Balm for years because not only is it so bloody good for dryness but it has a multitude of uses too, the list is literally endless as you can use it for your hands, cuticles, after sun, babies bums, glitter glue, eyebrow shaping, sore nose, dry patches on your body like elbows and knees, chapped lips and you can use it as a clear lip gloss, it's so incredibly useful. I also love that Dr.Lipp's products are all 100% natural, this is great for people with sensitive skin and it also gives you peace of mind that your not applying anything with chemicals in that could be harsher on your skin.
Dr.Lipp also have a set of Lip Trio Tints* (£18.00) which have the same amazing formula as the nipple balm but this time it's naturally tinted to add some colour as well as nourishment to your pout! Within the set you get the Red Radish Pigment which is a delicate festive red gloss, Elderberry Pigment which leaves a gorgeous burgundy gloss to the lips, and Sweet Potato Pigment which is a beautiful natural pink shade! Just like the nipple balm these tints have quite a thick constancy but aren't sticky on the lips their more balmy with the effect of a juicy looking gloss which makes your lips look so full and kissable! These are so perfect at this time of the year when your lips are at their driest, I'm the sort of gal that hates leaving the house without my lippie on but when my lips are so dry it's sometimes impossible to wear lipsticks, but these tints give my lips a splash of colour as well as nourishing them at the same time! Their also the perfect size for travelling or for when your on the go as they come in super cute little tubes and their hygienic too because you apply them straight from the tube, so no dirty fingers going in to balm pots, yuk!
Overall if your looking for a small gift, stocking stuffer or secret Santa prezzie for a beauty lover then these two little gifts will definitely impress. You can find both gifts of them HERE.

Burt's Bees Stocking Fillers!

Hey beaut's!

Can you believe Christmas is about a month away now, it's crazy how quick the time is going, I really want it to slow down so I can live all things festive for longer, does anyone else feel like that? Anyway today I have a couple of super cute gifts from Burt's Bees which I think would make the most amazing stocking fillers or secret Santa goodies!

What I love about the lip shimmers is that they give your lips and lovely tint of colour, it honestly makes your lips so juicy and plump looking!
The next stocking stuffer I have is the Burt's Bees Trio Tin Gift Set* (£9.99), this set is a lip balm lovers perfect gift because it contains three of Burt's Bees 100% natural lip balms in a variety of yummy scents, theres everything from Beeswax with Peppermint, Honey and my personal favourite out of the three Coconut and Pear, mmm it's so lush! You really cant go wrong with Burt's Bees lip balms, I've raved about them loads of my blog before because their just so nourishing on the lips and the fact you get three in this set means you can have a lip balm on you at all times, your handbag, makeup bag and even your desk at work!
Lastly but in no means least is the Burt's Bees Mistletoe Kiss Gift Set* (£9.99), this one is so adorable because it hangs like a little beauty bauble, oh I love! Inside this cutie you will find a Pomegranate Lip Balm, Lip Shimmer in Peony and a Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus. All three are enriched with Shea Butter, Vitamin E and fruit oils to moisturise the driest of lips and add a pop of luminescent colour.

Burt's Bees '#BringBackTheBees' Coconut & Pear Lip Balm

Hey beaut's!

Did you know that we rely on bees for nearly 1/3 of our entire food supply? So when bees are in trouble we are too! So this Summer Burt's Bees are getting involved and are helping #BringBackTheBees by teaming up with International supermodel Winnie Harlow. To raise awareness of this serious issue Burt's Bees have given their popular Coconut & Pear Lip Balm a limited edition face lift, for every purchase of the limited edition Coconut & Pear Lip Balm Burt's Bees will plant 5,000 bee-friendly wildflower seeds, how amazing is that!
The Burt's Bees Coconut & Pear Lip Balm* is lovely, it's a super moisturising lip balm which combines juicy extract of vitamin-rich pear with creamy, hydrating coconut oil. The light formula, with shea butter, gives my lips a huge dose of moisture leaving them smooth and soft whilst also preventing any chapping or flakiness. As I expected the smell and taste of this lip balm is so good, just like coconuts with a tiny hint of pear, yum! Not forgetting that it's also 100% natural and contains no phthalates, parabens, petrolatum or SLS.
So if your after a new lip balm or just a bee lover in general why not grab yourself one of these lip balms up, it's for such a good cause after all! You literally cant go wrong with a Burt's Bees lip balm either, their my absolute favourite brand for lip balms because they actually work on the surface of the lips as well as deep down.

You can find the Burt's Bees '#Bring Back The Bees' Coconut & Pear Lip Balm for £3.99 HERE, and for more information about this campaign you can find Winnie Harlow's video HERE.

What's On My Bedside Table?

Hey beaut's!

I love a bit of bedside beauty these days, there was often times in the past where I'd forget my night cream and wake up with the driest face, or my hand cream would be stashed in my handbag so I'd forget to apply it before bed (more like I couldn't be bothered to get out of bed to get it he he) so I now have everything I need right before bed on my bedside table, that way I can add my potions and lotions right from my bedside he he.
The first two products that have to be on my bedside table are my beloved Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep and my Clinque Pep Start Eye Cream, if these two aren't right next to me before bed I simply forget to apply them, and seeing as my skin loves this duo so much forgetting them can not be an option. The Skin Sleep nourishes my skin so much overnight and leaves me with a fresher complexion in the morning, it's a great night cream if you wake up to really dull skin because it combats that straight away! The Pep Start Eye Cream is so thick and moisturising and although it's meant to be a morning eye cream I love using it at night instead because it soothes my tired eyes but also makes my eyes appear brighter in the morning, it feels so luxurious too like I'm really treating my eyes he he.

I also have to slather my lips with lip balm right before I go to sleep otherwise I wake up with super dry lips and my all time favourite is the Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. I have loads of these lip balms in all different scents because the formula is so nice and does a great job at long term moisturising, I hate those lip balms that only make your lips feel nourished for half an hour, I like one that will keep my lips soft and ready for lipstick for hours and Burt's Bees does just that. Finally I HAVE to have hand cream on my bedside table at all times, my hands get sooooo dry, I'm so hard on my hands day to day so at night I whack a thick layer of Soap & Glory's Hand Food on, I actually put so much on that it doesn't sink in straight away but I think that works best for me as it nourishes all night then.

What are your bedside beauty essentials beaut's? I'd love to know!

Burt's Bees Beeswax Christmas Bauble Review

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen that a couple of weeks ago I shared some of Burt's Bees 2016 Christmas gifts that would be perfect for either stocking fillers or secret Santa prezzies, if you missed the post you can check it out HERE. Within that post was a super cute Burt's Bees Christmas Bauble, and because I loved it so much I thought it deserved it's very own post!

Burt's Bees actually have two Christmas Baubles this year but the one I have is the Beeswax Gift Set Christmas Bauble (£6.99). Inside the bauble you will find a Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint and a Mini Hand Salve, both of which are essentials during the autumn and winter months. The lip balm within the bauble is soooo nice, it's 100% natural and gives my lips a huge dose of moisture leaving them smooth and soft whilst also preventing any chapping or flakiness. Because the balm contains peppermint it does have a mint scent which tingles the lips when you first apply it, personally I love the tingling sensation, I feel like it plumps my lips slightly and creates a great base for lipstick. The mini hand salve within the bauble is so handy to have in my handbag at this time of the year, it  hydrates rough, dry hands with  botanical oils, herbs and beeswax leaving them soft and conditioned, it works great as a cuticle balm too.
Overall I absolutely love this little bauble, it's the perfect little Christmas tree decoration that becomes a gift and will certainly keep your hands and lips nourished this Christmas.

The Burt's Bees Beeswax Gift Set Christmas Bauble is available HERE.

Christmas with Burt's Bees

Hey beaut's!

Can you believe theres only 75 sleeps until Christmas so I thought it would be the perfect time to do my very first Christmas gift guide. I'm kicking things off with some super cute bits from Burt's Bees which would make the most amazing stocking fillers or secret Santa gifts!

First up I have the Burt's Bees Beeswax Gift Set Christmas Bauble (£6.99), isn't this just the cutest thing you've ever seen! Inside the bauble you will find a Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint and a Mini Hand Salve. This is the perfect little Christmas tree decoration that becomes a gift and will certain keep your hands and lips nourished this Chrismas. The Burt's Bees Beeswax Gift Set Christmas Bauble is available HERE.
Next up is Nature's Kiss Gift Set (£9.99), a cute little gift that contains the perfect duo to keep those lips not only moisturised and nourished this winter but with a slight hint of colour and shimmer at the same time. Within Nature's Kiss you get a Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in the shade Sedona Sands, this is a chubby stick style lip product that feels like a lip balm on the lips but it has added pigment to it so you get a wash of colour on the lips too, it's a really lovely product. Theres also a Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in the shade Peony, this is much like the lip crayon as it's a lip balm with a hit of colour but instead of bold pigment like the lip crayon the lip shimmer has more of a glistening sheen to it, this would look so pretty on a real cold, frosty day and would be an great little gift for any makeup or beauty lover! The Nature's Kiss Gift Set is available HERE.
Lastly but in no means least is the Burt's Bees Beeswax Bounty Gift Set (£12.99), this is a lip balm lovers perfect gift because it contains four of Burt's Bees 100% natural lip balms in a variety on yummy scents, theres everything from Beeswax, Pomegranate, Mango and my favourite out of the four Vanilla Bean, mmmm lush! These are so nourishing on the lips and the fact you get found in this set means you can have a lip balm on you at all times, your handbag, makeup bag, pocket and even your desk! The Burt's Bees Beeswax Bounty Gift Set is available HERE.

Makeup Revolution I ♥ Makeup I ♥ My Lips Lip Balm Collection

Hey beaut's!

I have some exciting news for you all today, firstly some of my favourite, affordable makeup brands such as Makeup Revolution, I ♥ Makeup and Freedom Makeup have all been merged together on a brand new website named Tam Beauty, this means you can shop all of the brands together on one website and only have to pay the one shipping fee woohoo. Secondly I have a pretty cool new launch to share with you all from I ♥ Makeup, this time around they have launched a collection of  five different lip balms named I ♥ My Lips that are just £2.99 each.

The I ♥ My Lips Lip Balm's* come packaged in colourful rubberised, bullet shaped casings with the balm itself being an easy to use rounded shape somewhat similar to those EOS Lip Balms. What I will say about  these packaging wise is after a few hours of me receiving these from Makeup Revolution I was playing around with them and testing them out on myself and I just suddenly realised none of mine had a barcode on or an ingredients list so I assumed mine must off been missing some sort of cardboard outta packaging? After checking the website out I was right, they should have come in cardboard packaging so I was a bit miffed that I had got all excited when they arrived and I immediately tried all of mine out after realising they where not securely packaged. I would assume if you bought these they would come securely packaged but I felt I needed to add this information within my review just in case.
Packaging drama aside, like I said I did try all of the balms out before realising so I can tell you my honest thoughts on these. The I ♥ Makeup I ♥ My Lips Lip Balm Collection consists of five different scented lips balms, theres Cool Vanilla, Wild Strawberry, Blueberry Crush, Mint Sorbet and Raspberry Fizz, they do all smell incredibly nice with Raspberry Fizz and Wild Strawberry being my favourite scents within the collection. Each balm is said to replenish, hydrate, soften and protect your lips and when you very first apply them they really do make my lips feel lovely and soft and moisturised but there definitely isn't a long lasting effect with these, for instance I wouldn't say these would keep your lips feeling nourished for hours but if your looking for a moisture boost there and then these are great for that, they make good lip balms to prep your lips with before you apply a lipstick too.
Overall and in all honesty I'd say these are OK but nothing ground breaking, I do absolutely adore Makeup Revolution and I ♥ Makeup and theres nothing much from them I can usually grumble over but... the packaging drama was slightly annoying for me as I think they should have arrived securely sealed but the balm itself was OK for an immediate moisture boost and they are handy to have in your handbag or pocket because they are small and compact. I must add I loved all of the scents, they are so fragrant and very realistic and it makes the balms very pleasent to apply thats for sure!

Have you tried the I ♥ Makeup I ♥ My Lips Lip Balm Collection beaut's? What did you think?

Jelly Belly Lip Balm Tin Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a very exciting review for you all containing a selection of Jelly Belly Lip Balms... Sweeties and beauty don't usually collide but they do now and I'm drooling over these jelly bean flavoured lip balms.

The Jelly Belly Lip Balm Tin* (£12.00) contains 6 lip balms in total in a variety of mouth watering Jelly Bean flavours, theres Strawberry Jam, Very Cherry, Tutti-Fruitti, Bubblegum, Blueberry and Green Apple. Each lip balm smells and tastes so yummy and is sure to be a winner for anyone who likes something sweet and sugary, I was expecting the lip balms to taste slightly plasticy but they didn't thank goodness, instead they actually make you crave Jelly Beans as they taste so similar so I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing ha ha.
The quality of each lip balm is really very good, sometimes you can find that the idea of a product that looks amazing in the packaging can out way the actual quality of the product itself, but I've found all of the lip balms work really well at moisturising and nourishing my lips leaving them silky smooth and make a lovely base for my lipsticks to go over too. None of the lip balms leave a tint to the lips they literally apply clear, which is probably a good thing otherwise the Blueberry and Green Apple flavours could leave your lips looking very colourful indeed ha ha.
Overall I absolutely love these little lip balms, they do the job when needed, are so bright, fun and eye catching and have become a handbag staple for me. My favourite flavour out of all of the six has to be Very Cherry, its just so juicy smelling and really reminds me of the smell of red vines, don't get my wrong I do LOVE all of the flavours but Very Cherry has been the one I've reached for the most.

The Jelly Belly Lip Balm Tin is available in store at Claire's Accessories.

Retro Kellogg's Rice Krispies Lip Balm Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a very exciting review for you all in the shape of a Kellogg's Rice Krispies Lip Balm*... Breakfast and beauty don't usually collide but they have now and I'm drooling over it, I mean this kitch collaboration between Kellogg's and MAD Beauty is just genius isn't it.
The lip balm packaging looks amazing and sports that vintage 70's look and features the legends which are snap, crackle and pop. The scent and taste of the Rice Krispies balm itself is so yummy and sure to be a winner for anyone who likes something sweet and sugary, it has a kick of banana which tastes and smells just like those foam banana's you get in the sweet shop, oh my goodness I love it. The quality of the lip balm is really very good, sometimes you can find that the idea of a product that looks amazing in the packaging can out way the actual quality of the product itself but this lip balm certainly works well. It moisturises and nourishes my lips leaving them silky smooth and it makes a lovely base for lipsticks to go over too.
Overall I absolutely love this little beauty and not only does it look incredible it works well too and has become a handbag essential for me. The Kellogg's lips balms also come in the Frosted Flakes edition which I have and theres a Coco Pops edition available too, and what's best is that they are all an affordable £2.99 a snap, crackle and a pop to he he.

What do you think of the Kellogg's Retro range beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

Blistex Happy Lips Mango Lip Balm Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

I'm always on the hunt for a new lip balm that really moisturises my lips well, so when I saw Blistex had launched a couple of new lips balms in their Happy Lips range I just knew I had to try one.

Their are two lip balms to collect in the Blistex Happy Lips range, Strawberry and Mango, I opted for the Mango just because I've never had a Mango flavoured lip balm before so I thought I'd try something new instead of the more typical Strawberry flavour. I'm so glad I went for the Mango flavour because it smells and tastes amazing, exactly like tropical, exotic, ripe Mango and doesn't seem artificial in the slightest, you can literally smell it the entire time it on your lips, its amazing and sooo tasty he he.
The formula of the balm itself is intensively moisturising and contains Vitamin E to really keep your pout looking smooth and feeling soft and hydrated. I never find this balm greasy in any way just super nourishing and great at either prepping the lips before lipstick or generally when you have sore, dry/chapped lips, it just smooths everything out. I must add that the Blistex Happy Lips Lip Balms also contain SPF15, this is good to know when your going to be out in the sun or on holiday. The packaging is bright, fun and travel friendly, it actually really reminds me of the Maybelline Baby Lips packaging wise however the formula is heaps better.
Overall I absolutely love this Blistex Happy Lips Mango Lips Balm, so if you’re looking for a cute fruity hydrating lip balm that you can pop in your handbag for on the go ready for the Autumn/Winters months them I'd highly recommend this little beauty!

The Blistex Happy Lips Mango Lips Balm is £2.49 and is available in Boots and Superdrug.

Zoella Kissy Missy Lip Balm Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

I'm pretty sure if your into watching beauty, fashion and lifestyle related video's on YouTube that you've all heard of Zoella (Zoe Sugg) before, I started reading her blog and watching her video's years ago and since then she's had so much success and released her own pampering range named 'Zoella Beauty' you go girl ha ha. I did buy a couple of things from the Zoella Beauty line last year and really enjoyed using them and recently Zoe has launched a brand new 'Tutti Fruity' line with Summer in mind, obviously I had to treat myself to a couple of things from the line so I decided to pick up the Scrubbing Me Softly Soothing Body Scrub (review coming soon), Bath Lily and the Kissy Missy Lip Balm which is what I'll be reviewing today!
The Kissy Miss Lip Balm (£3.00) comes in a cute plastic pot with a screw lid that has the Zoella logo adorned on it, it's the perfect size for your handbag/makeup bag and the screw lid stays on really well so you don't have to worry about it coming undone what so ever. The balm itself is a lot different than I expected, I was thinking it would have the texture of Vaseline but it doesn't what so ever, instead its quite a hard, solid balm that requires you to work your finger on the surface to kind of melt it. Once applied on the lips it feels lovely and smooth and so moisturised, I think it will be really beneficial during the winter months when your pout is really dry and needs a boost of moisture.
One of my favourite things about this lip balm is the pigmentation, it's so opaque and looks like you've applied lipstick to your lips not a lip balm, you can either apply one thin layer of the balm for a subtle pink tint or two thin layers will give you a fully opaque, hot pink pout which is so girly and fun. The colour does leave a slight stain on the lips so it wears really well and lasts for hours. As for the scent... The balm is enriched with extracts of Acai and Blueberry and is suppose to have the Tutti Fruity scent that flows through out the entire new collection however I don't get that at all, instead all I get is vanilla, it actually smells a lot like a MAC lipstick to be honest which smell amazing so that's good enough for me.

Overall I do really like Zoella's Kissy Missy Lip Balm, it's great to throw in your handbag for on the go and I love how moisturising and nourishing it is, I would say that I think it is aimed more towards the younger generation but that doesn't bother me or take away from the fact its a good lip balm so yeah, I really like it!

What are your thoughts on Zoella's new Tutti Fruity beauty range? I'd love to know beaut's!

January Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

Finally I'm back doing my beauty monthly favourites!!! It's been a few months since I shared my last beauty favourites so I thought I'd get back on the bandwagon. I cant quite believe how quick January has whizzed past, it honestly scares me that the months go by so quick! Is anyone else not feeling this cold winter weather anymore? Don't get me wrong I love Autumn and the festive build up but I'm totally over winter now, bring on the Spring, warm sunshine, blue sky's ad pretty flowers ha ha.

Anywhoooo today I thought I would share with you all the makeup and beauty products that I've been loving throughout January, so here goes....

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel + Rock Star Soap
To be totally honest I've been completely obsessed with Lush for the past few months and have been using their bubble bars/bath bombs in every bath I've had, but two things I've continued to use over and over during January is their Snow Fairy Shower Gel and Rock Star Soap. The Snow Fairy Shower Gel just smells incredible, it literally fills my bathroom with its sweet, bubblegum, candy floss scent and makes my skin smell just as scrummy ha ha. The Rock Star Soap I have used soooo much but it honestly never goes down, I can see it lasting me ages, I use it mainly to soap up my legs and under my arms before shaving and it works really well and shares that same gorgeous scent as Snow Fairy. Arhh I just love them both so much.

Makeup Revolution Pro Makeup Brushes
A few weeks ago Makeup Revolution finally launched their makeup brushes, this is something I've been waiting eagerly for and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that. I've been using the brushes constantly  since I've had them and even though I do have my favourites I definitely think this is a collection most should try whether your a beginner or not. I obsessed with the Contour Brush and Stippling Brush, they are amazing and I cant seem to put them down he he. Check out my full review of the collection HERE beaut's!

Cheryl's Stormflower Eau De Parfum
I actually received the gorgeous Cheryl's Stormflower perfume for Christmas and have been using it alot ever since. The perfume itself is a perfect everyday fragrance, it's very fruity with notes of mandarin and nectarine yet it isn't overly orange-tastic as you may expect, however I do find it very tropical smelling too which I love. The bottle is also stunning and looks lovely on my dressing table. I have done a full review on Stormflower which you can find HERE.

Urban Decay Subversion Eye Lash Primer
Eye Lash Primers are something I've never ever tried before, I've just always thought they'd be pretty pointless until I received a little sample of Urban Decays Subversion Primer with my Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. I can honestly say I think I'll always use this little beauty before applying my mascara now because I find it makes such a difference, it makes my mascara go on so smoothly and makes my lashes look thicker, longer and they feel so much stronger too. I use this primer with any mascara not just the Urban Decay one that it came with, and each mascara performs so much better when I've applied the primer before hand, I'm 100% going to be buying the full size of this amazing product.

Beauty UK Glacier Gloss in Plum & Have a Go
I think the Glacier Glosses are quite new to Beauty UK but they promise a high impact shine and intense colour payoff and their certainly not wrong as I blooming love this gloss. Plum and Have a Go has literally been on my lips for most of January, it's not sticky like you would expect a gloss to be, it's super moisturising and the shade is just so pretty, all in all it's super comfortable to wear and it hasn't left my handbag for ages.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Fresco
I've been using my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation alot during the last couple of months and I seem to have fallen in love with it all over again. It really is a fantastic foundation, the coverage is amazing yet it still feels lightweight on the skin and it just makes my skin look perfect and  i've also noticed that it seems to prolong all of my makeup, keeping it in place all day. If you haven't tried the Double Wear foundation yet I'd urge you to do so as it's worth every penny.

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm Superfruits
I got this Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm in my January Glossybox and have been obsessed with it ever since. The balm itself is 100% natural and packed full of oils so it has super moisturising qualities and generally makes me lips feel super smooth and nourished, it also smells incredible and tastes amazing which is an added bonus, it really reminds me of those little sweets called Love Hearts.

L'Oreal Mythic Oil
Hair oil's have never really been my thing until I tried L'Oreal's Mythic Oil, this stuff is lush. It's enriched with a special blend of avocado and grape seed oil, which seem to nourish my dry ends so much. I used 2-3 pumps of the Mythic Oil on my towel dried hair as I love to blow dry it in and then I use 1 pump on a daily basis on my dry hair, the formula just seems to spruce my hair up leaving it looking shiny, feeling nourished and supple, it seems to define my curls/waves too which I love!

What have been your favourite beauty products to use throughout January beaut's??? I'd love to know!!!
