Yankee Candle Alpine Christmas Collection!

Christmas is now within touching distance and one brand that I just couldn't be without at this time of the year is Yankee Candle. Not only do I buy their candles as gifts but I have to stock up on their festive scents for myself, Christmas just isn't Christmas without a Yankee Candle or two burning around the house!

This year Yankee Candle brought out their Alpine Collection which features 6 brand new scents - After Sledding, Alpine Mint, Alpine Morning, Evergreen Mist and finally the two scents I have are Pomegranate Gin Fizz and Candlelit Cabin. I'm absolutely obsessed with Pomegranate Gin Fizz already, it contains notes of Cranberry, Sparkling Pomegranate, Fresh Lime and Festive Orange, this one is fruity yet festive as it smells like the perfect Christmas tipple! Candlelit Cabin has notes of rustic pine and warm spices, this is more of a fresh festive scent, imagine walking outside of a frosty morning through Christmas tree's, yup it's lush and definitely a more traditional alpine scent! 

Yankee Candle also have the option to personalise your large jars now which I think us amazing, you simply choose your favourite scent then you can upload a photo, or choose from Yankee Candles edits and you can also add your own personal message! I think this is such a lovely idea and makes a cute keep-sake to anyone your gifting it too, the personalised large jars are usually £24.99 but at the moment if you use the code PD20 you can get your personalised candle for £20.00! 

This collection is perfect for creating that cosy, festive atmosphere throughout your home and as always I found that the scent throw of both of these candles amazing, they both fill the entire house with their scent very quickly and still linger when they have been blown out which is always a bonus! As always the Yankee Candle large jars have a burn time of between 110 – 150 hours, so you get plenty of  use out of them!

Dr.Lipp Christmas Gift Sets

Christmas Gift Guide For Her!

One of the main struggles we have at Christmas is knowing what on earth to buy our loved ones and friends, and with just 34 sleeps to go until the big day (scary hey) it's about time we all get that Christmas shopping started pronto! So today I thought I'd put a little gift guide together and share a few gifts that have been tried and tested that I think make perfect presents, most of which are pretty affordable although there is one more pricey 'main present' thrown into the mix.

Sticking with liquid lipsticks the Technic Lip Locker Matte Lip Set comes with 10 mini liquid lipsticks in nude, pink, red, plum and berry shades making it the ultimate gift for liquid lippie fans, best of all it's only £5.99 which is an absolute steal! The Technic 'The Glitz' Eyeshadow Set (£2.99) has to be my favourite though, it contains 4 glitters in Silver, Gold, Copper, and Cranberry which are perfect for the festive season and the quality is pretty good too! You can use them as eyeshadow toppers, in your inner corners or as liquid eyeliner, I love them!

If you have a wax melt lover on your hands then I cant recommend the Whiffy Wax Whopper Box (£20.00) enough, the box contains 9 2oz mega melts all of which are in festive scents and they all look beautiful, the detail and glitter within the melts in this box is seriously stunning! The quality of the wax melts is amazing too, I've tried quite alot of Whiffy Wax melts before and they melt melt so quickly filling your house with the gorgeous scent really quickly and you only need the smallest amount of wax for a really good scent throw too.

If you want to splash out on a main present or if you have a skincare junkie in the family then the PMD Clean Pro would make an amazing gift! Lastly something that's more universal and an AMAZING gift in my opinion is a pet portrait by Portrait Pals. Portrait Pals is an artist marketplace selling charitable pet portraits and bespoke gifts. How it works is you choose from a range of artists depending on the style of portrait your after, upload the photo of the adorably cute pet that you want turning into a portrait and then wait for the artist to do their thang! The artist I went for was the amazing Lauren Pilgreen, she done a incredible job at creating my portrait of Alfie, doesn't he look cute! I think this sort of gift is amazing for any pet owner of any age, and I think it such a special gift as the person receiving it will know you've really put a lot of thought, love and effort into their gift!

The Ultimate Christmas Gift - Prestige Christmas Tradition Hamper Reviewed!

Hands up who's started their Christmas shopping....I finally have! Usually by this time I have most of my Christmas shopping done but I'm quite behind this year, I'm not worrying though as I do have a plan. The Best Beauty Baubles and Crackers 2019!

Christmas in the beauty world is bigger than ever now, not only do we have thousands of skincare gifts, makeup sets and beauty advent calenders to choose from but we also have lots of baubles and crackers too. Personally I think beauty baubles and crackers are a fab idea, whether your wanting them for a stocking filler, secret Santa gift or even something fun for you and your girls to open on a girlie Christmas dinner night - beauty baubles and crackers are such a winner, and today I thought I'd share a few fab ones that I've spotted lately!

I think my favourite crackers so far this year  have to be the ZOEVA Caramel Melange Cracker which comes in at £21.00, it contains a gorgeous mini palette which has six super wearable shades within it and two makeup brushes which I think is pretty epic in terms of a cracker. The YSL Cracker is my other favourite, yes this one is a bit more luxurious and it's on the more pricey side of things at £35.00 but the contents is so good, you get Mini Black Opium Perfume which is one of YSL's best sellers and one of my all times favourites scents especially for this time of the year, theres also a Mini Curler Mascara, Mini Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick and a Mini Instant Moisture Glow makeup base, it's epic!

My favourite beauty baubles this year have to be by Pixi, I think this might be the first year Pixi have done beauty baubles and they actually have a few to choose from, theres one with a mini glow tonic but my favourite is their Best Of Bright Set, it contains a mini Glow Mud Cleanser, mini Glow Tonic and a Glow Mud Mask, it's the perfect bauble for any skincare lover and if their new to Pixi they get to try an entire mini regime and could end up falling in love with a new skincare routine!

Theres so many beauty crackers this year and I think their such amazing presents, whether your wanting them for a stocking filler, secret Santa gift or even something fun for you and your girls to open on a girlie Christmas dinner night - beauty crackers are such a winner, and I have one by NUXE to share with you today and 'spolier alert' the hand cream within this cracker is soooo good!

Festive Reds Christmas Gift Guide 2018

I cant believe Christmas is just a mere nineteen days away, it's going so quick isn't it, anyway I thought I would do another cheeky Christmas gift guide today and carry on my 'Festive Reds' tradition that I've done for the past couple of years. I've gone for a mixture of smaller cheap Christmas gift ideas which you could pop in for stocking fillers or secret Santa gifts, and then some bigger bits for under the tree ranging from affordable to a couple of more luxury prices.

So lets kick things off with more affordable options starting off with a good old pair of cosy socks, these are the ultimate stocking filler which everyone loves and can get some use out of! I also love how massive the beauty bauble and beauty crackers trend has got, personally I think both work amazingly well as stocking fillers or for secret Santa gifts, their all super festive because of their cracker or bauble design, reasonably priced and still great little gifts at the same time that most beauty lovers would enjoy. I also love how you can now get full boxes of beauty crackers too, I think these are great if your hosting a Christmas meal with your best friends just before Christmas, they just make such a nice change to normal crackers don't they. 

Then theres pj's, these are perfect Christmas gifts for Mums or anyone really for that matter, you literally cant go wrong with a cosy set of pj's can you, I also love that most pj's, onsies and dressing gowns are reasonably priced but when their wrapped up they look huge under the tree ha ha! If your after something a little bit bigger and maybe your wanting to spend a bit more then perfume gift sets are great, as well as the epic makeup gift sets you can buy these days! Candles are another great gift for Christmas, theres hundreds of brands and scents too choose from and I think they can work as quite a unisex gift! If you have a tea or coffee lover that you need to buy for then a nice mug is definitely going to go down a treat, I love all the festive ones that are out at this time of the year!
