What's On My Bedside Table?

Hey beaut's!

I love a bit of bedside beauty these days, there was often times in the past where I'd forget my night cream and wake up with the driest face, or my hand cream would be stashed in my handbag so I'd forget to apply it before bed (more like I couldn't be bothered to get out of bed to get it he he) so I now have everything I need right before bed on my bedside table, that way I can add my potions and lotions right from my bedside he he.
The first two products that have to be on my bedside table are my beloved Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep and my Clinque Pep Start Eye Cream, if these two aren't right next to me before bed I simply forget to apply them, and seeing as my skin loves this duo so much forgetting them can not be an option. The Skin Sleep nourishes my skin so much overnight and leaves me with a fresher complexion in the morning, it's a great night cream if you wake up to really dull skin because it combats that straight away! The Pep Start Eye Cream is so thick and moisturising and although it's meant to be a morning eye cream I love using it at night instead because it soothes my tired eyes but also makes my eyes appear brighter in the morning, it feels so luxurious too like I'm really treating my eyes he he.

I also have to slather my lips with lip balm right before I go to sleep otherwise I wake up with super dry lips and my all time favourite is the Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm. I have loads of these lip balms in all different scents because the formula is so nice and does a great job at long term moisturising, I hate those lip balms that only make your lips feel nourished for half an hour, I like one that will keep my lips soft and ready for lipstick for hours and Burt's Bees does just that. Finally I HAVE to have hand cream on my bedside table at all times, my hands get sooooo dry, I'm so hard on my hands day to day so at night I whack a thick layer of Soap & Glory's Hand Food on, I actually put so much on that it doesn't sink in straight away but I think that works best for me as it nourishes all night then.

What are your bedside beauty essentials beaut's? I'd love to know!

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream Review

Hey beaut's!

I've pretty much been obsessed with trying out all different types of eye cream recently, I have quite a dry, tired under eye area and dark circles are always a problem for me so I'm always on the hunt for the perfect eye cream which led to me to try the Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream, Ive been using this for around a month and a half now and thought it was finally time I shared my thoughts on it with you all.

The Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream claims to hydrate, brighten, and perk our eyeballs up leaving us looking wide awake in just 3 seconds, and lets face it we always want to look perkier and more awake in the mornings don't we. To apply the cream all you have to do is pop the funky little ball tip up with your thumb, gently squeeze a small amount of the eye cream onto the ball applicator tip (a little goes a long way with this), swipe the tip in circular motions around the eye area, including your eye lids and then use your fingers just to gently tap in any excess cream until its completely absorbed. The cream can be used twice a day, morning and night and you can even reapply throughout the day if your eye area is feeling extremely dry.
As far as formula's go this is lovely and I really have no complaints, it has a rich, thick, creamy texture that melts into the eye area within seconds without feeling oily or greasy, and I can definitely feel a cooling sensation whilst it's being absorbed too, this sensation is great at de-puffing and soothing the eye area in the mornings. I also love how this cream really helps brighten up my under eye area making it look less dark and dull and it hydrates brilliantly leaving a great base for makeup such as my concealer, it just makes everything a lot smoother and reduces creasing.

Overall I have been obsessed with this eye cream from Clinique, I've noticed that my eye area is much more nourished, smooth and brighter and it's certainly a step I NEVER miss in the mornings now, I also love using this at night too because it feels so luxe and like I'm really treating my eyes he he.

Have you tried the Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

Clinique All About Moisture Set | Christmas Gift Guide

Hey beaut's!

I'm back today with another gift idea for any ladies in your life who are into skincare. Skincare is quite a personal thing but the Clinique All About Moisture Set* is suitable for all skin types, however I think it would be best suited for anyone with a dryer skin type like myself, or if your skin tends to suffer during the winter months then this set would be great to perk your skin back up not to mention its a very lux gift set indeed.
The Clinique All About Moisture Set contains...

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Gel-Creme 75ml (Extra Large Size)
This stuff is gorgeous, the lightweight cream-gel claims to comfortably plump the skin and gives you mega hydration for a full 24 hours and I have to agree. A little bit of this cream-gel certainly goes a long way and it almost instantly soaks into the skin so theres no waiting around before you can apply your makeup which is a bonus, Ive found after using this moisturiser for a while it's made my skin so soft, super moisturised, somewhat firm, alot more vibrant and my flaky patches are no existent.

Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief 30ml (Sample Size)

This is a pretty impressive little bottle of goodness for your skin, it's an Aloe activated water facial spray that's perfect to pop into your handbag for on the go when your skins abit thirsty and needs a moister boost. I like to use the facial spray best when I'm having an extremely dry day, this happens to me alot when it very cold and windy out as there is alot less moisture in the environment, I simply hold it at arms length, close my eyes and gently spritz over my face then using my fingers I lightly tap it into my skin. It instantly replenishes my thirsty skin, restores moisture, soothes and leaves my skin soft and smooth without distracting any of my makeup, its also oil free so any oily skin suffers wont get caught with an oily surge if they use this either.

Clinique All About Eyes Serum 15ml (Full Size)

I love a good eye serum and this one certainly is a beauty. The Clinique All About Eyes Serum contains a de-puffing eye massage roller ball which helps massage away bags, refreshes, and hydrates puffy eyes on contact not to mention its super cooling and really wakes the eyes up in the mornings, especially if kept in the fridge which I'd highly suggest for best results. The Serum itself has that same cream-gel formula which sinks in around the delicate eye area beautifully and feels very nourishing, it really helps reduce my dark circles, brightens and soothes and all in all works great! It's also oil-free, non-irritating and Ophthalmologist tested.

Overall I think this would be an amazing luxurious gift for that special lady in your in life that you'd like to splash out on abit this year, whether it be for your Mum, Gran, Girlfriend, Sister or Auntie etc I think this gift set would be greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all ages.

You can find the Clinique All About Moisture Set on the Cosme-De.com website for £57.00, if you haven't heard of them before it's basically an online shopping site that sells all things beauty, skincare, fragrance, haircare plus more, they stock brands such as Benefit, Bioderma, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Estee Lauder and that's just to name a few so theres certainly plenty of choice on the website. Cosme-De are actually based in Hong Kong but ship worldwide for FREE on every order (whoop), their website is very clear and easy to use and all you have to do to get your preferred currency is scroll at the bottom of the website and click the little drop down box to choose, simple!
