E.L.F Eyelid Primer In Champagne | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

I'm always on the look out for a good affordable eyelid primer as i have such oily eyelids so when i made a recent E.L.F order i decided to give their 'Eyelid Primer' a go, i opted for the shade Champagne although there are three other shades you can choose from which are Sheer, Pearl and Golden.

'Champagne' is a taupe shade that blends out very sheer but has loads of glitter particles running through it that aren't visible until you start blending, the worst thing is some of the glitter particles do drop down onto your face which is slightly annoying. Putting the glitter disco ball effect aside... the primer does really perform well, it held my eyeshadow in place really well and never creased at all which is something I'm surprised at considering how oily my eyelids can get. I noticed my eyeshadow lasted a good 8 hours until it wasn't as vibrant as before but there still wasn't any creasing so for me that's brilliant. The consistency of the primer id say is very silky and thin and easy to work with minus the glitter problem.

All in all i am really happy with this primer considering how little it costs i really didn't hold out much hope for it to be honest, the primer is priced at £1.50 but i ordered mine when E.L.F had 60%off everything on the website meaning i only paid 0.60p for it, now you cant grumble at that price can you?

Have your tried any of the E.L.F Primers??? What did you think???

Revlon Nail Enamel In 'Popular' | Review & Swatches

When making a recent Fragrance Direct order i decided to pick up another Revlon nail polish as I'm a huge fan. I decided to get ' 230 Popular', its a pale pink with silver hexagon shaped glitters and minute silver shimmers throughout it.

The pictures don't do it any justice, its such a pretty glittery polish.

The reason i love Revlon's nail polishes so much is not only are there so many shades to choose from ( around 50 i think ) but the formulation is fabulous, i find they all apply smooth with no streaking, dry relatively quick and are quite long lasting.

As you can see from the swatches to get a full opaque look from 'Popular' you need around 3 coats but u can also create a real pretty subtle nail with just 1 or 2 coats. I personally love using this as a glittery top coat, it just looks so pretty.

As you can see i used 'Popular' as a top coat on various different nail polish shades and i think 'Popular' looks pretty on them all.

I'm definitely glad i picked this shade up as a good glitter polish is right up my street, it was also an absolute steal at just 99p, oooshh.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush | Review & Swatches

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently I've been trying to add more cream blushes to my blush collection, I find in the Spring/Summer months i steer away from powder products and opt for more cream based products for that more dewy look. Id heard alot of good things about 'Max Factor's Miracle Touch in Soft Pink' so i decided to pick one up for myself and give it a go.

My first impressions of this before even opening it was how basic that packaging was, it has a plastic screw lid that likes to unscrew itself when it's in your makeup bag or handbag and it's the kind of packaging that i think will break very easily.

The blusher itself happens to be amazing, it has such a soft, creamy formula that almost feels like a balm and it just blends out onto the cheeks a treat, its in no way a cream to powder finish blush nore is it too creamy that it just slips off your face during the day, its just the most perfect finish that leaves you looking healthy and dewy.

I found this blush to have great pigmentation, you only need a small amount and you can build the blush up as much as you like for your desired look. The lasting power is also great, on me it lasts a good 7 hours before i think i could use a touch up which i think is fab.

I love the fact this shade 'Soft Pink' has no shimmery particles running through it all, I'm really not a fan of that. As for the other colour's in the collection id say they are quite limited, The Max Factor stand in my Superdrug only stocked 3 other shades of this Miracle Touch Blush so I'm not sure how many colours their are in the whole collection or if its just the 4 that they do, I have to say none of the other colours really tickled my fancy so id say 'Soft Pink' is the way to go ha ha.

These blushes retail for £6.99 which i think is great for an amazing quality blush, i can definitely see this blusher being a staple in my everyday makeup routine for a while.

Have you tried this blush??? What did you think??

Essie Nail Polish Review | Off The Shoulder & We're In It Together

Hey girlie's!! So recently i made another cheeky Fragrance Direct order, their prices are just so good that you cant go on their website for a nose without making an order. So here's two of the beauties i picked up.

We're In It Together is a gorgeous pale pastel pink with ultra fine purple/blue pieces of shimmer running through it. The formula of this polish is great, it applies evenly with no streaks or patches and dries rather quick too. As far as pigmentation goes id say you need a good 2 coats for a complete opaque finish. This is definitely a gorgeous spring time shade.

Off The Shoulder is a pink/raspberry colour with a slight yellow undertone to it. The pigmentation is great, you only need 2 coats for a completely opaque finish. Like 'We're In This Together' the formula is great and has a high shine finish when it dries so you could skip a top coat if you wished. I think this is a great summer colour and would look fabulous on toe too.

I absolutely love these polishes, i can now see why there is so much love for Essie as the quality of their polishes is amazing. I got these at a complete steal for £1.99 each, saving me £6.00 per polish as they are usually priced £7.99 each in Boots 'BARGAIN'.

Have you tried these shades?? What did u think???

30 Day Snap #6 | Lunch In The Sun

Hey girlie's!!!

So its day 6 of the 30 Day Snap today. If your a little confused as to what the 30 Day Snap is you can find all the information in full here.

Today was another long day at work for me and another day that i missed out on having some fun in the sun, but..... Where there's a will there's a way, so i decided to grab a chair and perch myself out on the loading bay with my Heat Magazine and caramel iced donut and catch some rays. It wasn't the most glamorous of  location's but it made the day a little bit better.

Please leave your links below if you are also taking part in the 30 Day Snap, id love to read your post's too.

Sleek Face Form Review ♥

Hey girlie's!!!! Ive been wanting to get my hands on the Sleek contouring kit for ages but if I'm totally honest i don't seem to go big on the ole contouring or highlighting malarkey until spring/summer or nights out, so since the sun is now starting to slowly appear i thought id treat myself to the little Face Form palette which now comes with a blusher too, yay.

Pictures taken with flash on.

The packaging is the usual for Sleek with they're matte black palette with 'Sleek' written on the top, as you open the palette you get a good sized sturdy mirror which i think is fab for when your on the go.

The Face Form palette comes in 4 different shades, Fair, Light, Medium and Dark, i opted for the Light palette as with contouring i sometimes think if i go too dark i can look muddy so for personal preference i go a little lighter. The palette contains a matte brown contouring powder, a champagne coloured highlighter and a coral/rose gold shimmery blush ,I am told this blush is a dupe for the famous NARS Orgasm but i have no idea if it is as I'm not lucky enough to own that 'YET'.

All the powders in this palette are extremely pigmented, easy to blend and really soft to the touch, i did find when swatching the contour colour that it was slightly chalky in the pan but it doesn't transfer to the face like that at all, so no problem there. The highlighter is gorgeous and gives a glowing shimmer to the skin and is in no way glittery and wont make you look like a disco ball, thank goodness. The blusher is definitely one for the summer for me, its not something id wear any other time to be honest but its still a lovely product and again has a nice shimmer to it and is not glittery at all.

The price of this palette is £9.99 which i think is amazing considering your getting 3 different  products and if any of my other Sleek makeup is anything to go by then i know this palette will last forever, for me its another win for Sleek.

Have you got this palette?? What did you think???

Review: Stila "In The Light" Eyeshadow Palette

After receiving this gorgeous palette as a gift last year its fair to say I'm in love with it. The  first thing i absolutely loved about this palette was the colour range, every single colour in this palette is right up my street and id wear every single one of them, they can take you from a day look to an evening look in minuetes.  The second thing i love is the quality of the eye shadows their selves, the pigmentation is amazing and the consistency is great too.

In the palette itself you get 12 eye shadows, 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades also as a little Brucie bonus you get the Stila "Smudge Stick Waterproof  Eye Liner" in Damsel. The matte eye shadows are very soft and have that  silky smooth feeling and the shimmer shades have a lovely creamy feel and are really easy to blend, both are very highly pigmented.  The fact this palette comes will a full size eyeliner is just fab as you get to try out another Stila product that you might not of even bothered to look out for in the future let alone try. The eyeliner is amazing, it applies really easily the pigmentation is amazing and the staying power is great, once its on its on, there's no budging it, however you do get a few minuetes to smudge it out of your going for that look. The colour itself is a dark matte brown with no shimmer or glitter running through it which is great if your looking for an alternative to black eyeliner. On a whole i think this palette is such great value for money, its £25 for 12 great quality eye shadows and an equally as great eyeliner, which on its own is priced at £14 so all in all the palette gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

You can buy this palette from Boots, or check out some online retailers like ASOS and FeelUnique.

From left to right, Bare (matte), Kitten (shimmer), Bliss (matte) , Sunset (shimmer) and Standstone (matte).

From left to right, Champagne (shimmer), Gilded Gold (shimmer), Luster (shimmer), Night Sky (shimmer) and Ebony (matte).

Damsel Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner.
