Technic Brush Cleaner Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

I think most of us guys and gals hate cleaning our makeup brushes, don't get me wrong I love it when my makeup brushes are all clean and sparkling, but it's the actual lengthy cleaning process that has me rolling my eyes resulting in me always putting it off, so anything that I can find to make that process quicker is a must try for me, so that's what lead me to trying the Technic Brush Cleaner!

The formula of the Technic Brush Cleaner is a clear, hard balm that instantly cleanses and conditions your makeup brushes leaving them with a fresh cucumber fragrance which is just divine! And because the balm is compact into it's packaging it makes it mess free and travel friendly because you don't have remove anything and theres nothing runny inside that could leak out, you just open the lid and your good to go!
To use the balm and get squeaky clean makeup brushes in seconds, yes I mean seconds all you have to do is wet your dirty brush and gently place it into the solid brush cleanser giving it a swirl around until it starts to foam, this will then remove the dirty residue before your eyes super quickly, then rinse your brush under the tap and lay flat to dry. I did notice that I had to repeat the process twice over with my face brushes but I feel like that's because foundation and concealer really gets deep within your brushes, my eye makeup brushes where a doddle to clean though! Once you've finished cleaning your brushes you will notice that the top of the balm will be slightly grubby and will probably have some makeup residue left on it, so all you have to do is just run the balm under cool water and pat dry with kitchen towel and the the balm will look like new again.
I must admit these type of makeup brush cleaners are my absolute favourite because their just so quick and easy to use, I have one by Makeup Revolution that I also love but Technics offering is cheaper at just £3.99 which is an absolute steal for something that is actually very good! I think the balm type cleaner is a must try for anyone who hates the job of cleaning their brushes as much as I do because honestly this really does speed the job up! I've also tested this out with my beauty blender and it worked really well with that too, I swirled my beauty blender around on the balm a few times and rinsed then repeated the process a couple of times and then my blender was good as new!

You can find the Technic Brush Cleaner for £3.99 HERE.

My New Favourite Foundation Is £2.99 - I Can't Beleive It Either!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while you will know I'm quite the Technic Cosmetics fan, not only is their makeup super affordable but I've found some absolute gems along the way! Of course every now and again I'll come across a product I'm not as keen on but most of the time they come up trumps and they certainly did when it came to their Pro Finish Serum Foundation!
I'll admit I can be super picky with my foundations and although I do use mostly drugstore foundation I wouldn't usually touch one that's as cheap as £2.99, as my immediate thought would be 'that will be rubbish' but wow Technic have shut me up this time as their Pro Finish Serum Foundation is my new favourite!

The foundation comes in six shades which yes - that is a bit naff - theres three lighter shades, Porcelain, Ivory and Beige and three darker shades, Mocha, Honey and Chestnut! I actually have to mix shades Porcelain and Ivory together to get my perfect shade, so it's definitely all about mixing and matching with this foundation!
The foundation itself has a natural, dewy finish, with a light yet buildable coverage that is long lasting yet super lightweight, I literally feel like I'm wearing nothing when I have this foundation on, it's really lovely. After giving this a good test  I have to say the resemblance this Technic Foundation has to MAC's Face and Body Foundation is uncanny, it's just like it. It has a thin, water like constancy which is so easy to build up if you wish, and it has that 'your skin but better' look to it which I love! It also never creases on me and NEVER goes cakey which is a major plus, I think that's because it's just so lightweight on the skin! So if your after a Face and Body dupe... Technic is where the parties at!
(From top to bottom...Porcelain, Ivory and Beige)
I think this a great all rounder foundation too meaning it would work well during all times of the year, it's a great choice for the Spring and Summer months because of how lightweight it is then in the winter months the serum formula really helps with the dryness we can suffer from and it gives the skin an ever so slight healthy glow! For £2.99 a pop you really cant go wrong, I'm completely shocked at just how much I like this foundation and how good it actually is! What a beauty bargain!

Have you tried this foundation beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

The Brow Duo I'm Currently Loving!

Hey beaut's!

I absolutely love doing my brows these days, it's strange really because I used to hate doing my brows and would rarely do anything with them but now I find it so satisfying getting them perfect and on point, no makeup look is complete without a pair of gorgeous brows after all is it!

Although I do love the look of a perfect pair of brows I'm much more into the fluffy, natural look and this little duo from Technic Cosmetics have been perfect for that! The Technic Arch Envy (£3.50) is great for adding in definition, it has this amazing 'three hair stroke tip' making it so easy to add hair-like strokes which look super natural, it really gives the illusion of thicker brows! The staying power is amazing too, I never have any problems with fading and when I swatched this on my hand it took ages for me to wash it off, all day in-fact! The only negative I have to say about this brow definer is that I've used it up so quickly, so I don't think you get that much product inside, but aside from that I love it!

The Technic Clear Brow Gel (£4.00) is the secret to getting your brows fluffy, the small wand grabs every little hair and sets it in place all day long, if you want textured fluffy brows always brush the product upwards which is what I do to the start and middle of my brows, obviously you don't just have to use this gel to make your brows fluffy, it does indeed set your brows and the product you have used in your brows in place. What I love about this particular brow gel is that it doesn't set hard or go crispy/flaky, it's very natural feeling which is must for me when I look for a brow gel.

If your looking for some new products for your brows that wont break the bank then I really cant recommend these enough, especially that brow gel, it's quickly become my new favourite!

Technic Cosmetics 'Invite Only' Eyeshadow Palette!

Hey beaut's!

Can we all just take a second to appreciate how STUNNING the new Technic Cosmetics Invite Only Eyeshadow Palette is, I mean I don't think I've ever seen a prettier, affordable palette if I'm honest! It's safe to say I couldn't wait to get this little beauty onto my eyeballs, and the fact it looks extremely similar to my Huda Beauty New Nude Palette had me intrigued too!
The Technic Cosmetics Invite Only Eyeshadow Palette contains 15 beautiful shades with a mixture of pinks, berries and neutral tones to play with, there 8 matte shades, 4 foiled shimmers, 2 pressed glitters and 1 metallic and wowza theres some show-stopping shades within this palette I tell ya!
For a £6.00 palette the formula of all the shades is pretty good, the mattes have a nice amount of pigmentation and blend out really softly which I like, as for the foiled shimmers.....wow - those beauties feel as soft as butter, they do appear foiled on the lid and they do sparkle too but I would say not as sparkly as the Huda Beauty palette, but hey your saving yourself some serious dosh with this palette so it's to be expected really. The pressed glitters are lovely, I find using my finger or a damp flat eyeshadow brush applies these best,  there is a little fall out with the glitters but again I expect fall out from any glitter shadow I wear so it wasn't a biggy! Lasting power was good too, I suffer with the dreaded oily eyelid so it always worries me that the cheaper shades will breakdown but they didn't, the only thing I did notice by the end of the day was a little creasing!

Overall if your looking for an affordable palette I cant recommend this one enough, the foiled shades are the star of the show for me as I was honestly shocked at just how well they looked and performed, I was expecting a glittery mess if I'm being completely honest but the foiled shades are actually so dreamy! The mattes are lovely too, they blend out and build up softly which I like and I didn't find them chalky which is always a bonus! For £6.00 you really cant complain, what a bargain!

New Releases From Technic Cosmetics!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while now you will know I'm a HUGE Technic Cosmetics fan, not only is their makeup super affordable but it's really good too. Something else I love about Technic is that their always working on new projects and releasing some amazing new collections and I've been testing out a few brand new products by Technic over the last month or so that I just have to share with you!

Technic Colour Max Face And Eyes Palette In Show Stopper* £6.00
This little palette is perfect if your going off on your holidays or if you like your makeup bag to be quite lightweight, it's a multi-use palette that contains four eyeshadows, a blusher, a highlighter and a bronzer! The four eyeshadows within the palette are all warm toned - super wearable shades for day or night, theres two matte shades and two metallic's which all blend easily with only a little fall out and they look so nice on the eyes around this time of the year! The blush, bronzer and highlighter all work beautifully, their well pigmented and blend with ease and I have to say the highlighter is absolutely blinding, I love it!

Technic Mega Blush Quad* £4.00
Another great little palette if your on your travels or if you like a nice selection of shades all in one place is this little Mega Blush Quad, it contains four all matte shades in different tones of pink to add a nice pinky flush to the cheeks! Again these pick up on the brush well, they blend really easily with very little fall out, they are buildable which I like because if you have an over pigmented blush you can end up looking like a clown and ruining your base makeup but these shades aren't like that at all, and for £4.00 you really cant go wrong,

Technic Shade Adjusting Highlighter Drops* £5.50 + Get Gorgeous Liquid Highlighter in Bloom* £4.50
These little highlighting drops have to be my favourite things, I'm all glowy skin and a few drops of this gorgeous stuff mixed in with my foundation creates the perfect dewy, radiant skin, ahh its lovely! You can also use them alone as a liquid highlighter and at the moment I've been loving mixing them in with my body moisturiser or sun cream to give my body that all over Summer glow! Honestly beaut's if you don't have any liquid highlighter drops in your collection you need some pronto!

Technic Prism Luna Rocks*

The Luna Rocks are a brand new addiction to Technic's popular Prism range, their essentially individual little square rocks of pale lilac, baby pink and white highlighter! They remind me on bronzing pearls my mum used to have when I was little, I used to be totally obsessed with them and now I can get them in highlighter form I'm pretty shook!! To use the Luna Rocks all you have to do is simply swirl a damp or dry brush around the rocks and then go to town on your face and body and get that glow going, these rocks look particularly good dusted on your shoulders and collar bone!

Technic Lip Primer* £4.00
This lip primer is an essential for me, I pop it on my lips whilst I apply my makeup and it preps my lips to perfection ready for me to pop on my chosen lip colour. The primer itself contains aloe vera and vitamin e which really softens and nourishes the lips and creates the perfect canvas for any lip product but especially dryer formula's like liquid lipsticks and matte lippies!

Technic Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powders* £4.50 each

Oh my, I think I've saved the best until last, how frickin' stunning are these highlighters! If you know me you'll know I'm not happy unless I am laced in highlighter and these really don't disappoint! Theres four shades to collect...Canary Diamond - this one looks icy white in the pan but when applied it has a beautiful golden shift to it, Perwinkle - a stunning violet highlighter with a pink shift to it, Virtuoso - this one is a super intense silver it almost looks like a foil sheen and lastly theres Galaxy Girl - this one is a cross between a galactic blue but with a lilac shift! Each highlighter comes in a sturdy plastic compact with the cutest star and moon raised design within the pan, they certainly look pretty cool. They have a super blendable formula which glows on the cheeks so nicely, theres a tiny amount of shimmer within each highlighter but nothing crazy, I love them!

You can find all of Technic's new launches along with the rest of their products on their website HERE. Also look out for full reviews and swatches on each product coming on my blog soon!

Technic Cosmetics Prism Collection!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while you will know I'm a HUGE Technic Cosmetics fan, I can never resist their makeup because not only is it super affordable but it's actually really good too. Recently I've been giving their Prism Collection a whirl and wow it's beautiful, the collection contains glowing unicorn creams, galactic glosses, stray eyed eyeshadow creams, magic princess powders, an incredible rainbow highlighter and the jazziest croc-like iridescent makeup bag all of which are perfect for babes who want that popular unicorn glow all day long!
Firstly can we all just take a moment to appreciate how cool the Prism Rainbow Highlighter* (£3.99) is, it contains five highlighter segments that have been pressed together to create a rainbow effect and more importantly a unicorn glow. You can use the segments separately with a small brush if you wish but I like to swirl a brush through all the colours because it creates a very pretty icy lilac shade, it does contain quite a bit of micro glitter but hey if your using a rainbow highlighter I expect to go all out with glitter and sparkle so I'm happy with that!

Next up we have the Prism Unicorn Highlighting Cream* (£4.99) and the Prism Unicorn Horn Cream Highlighting Sticks (£2.50)*. The Unicorn Highlighting Cream in Star Light might look gold in the packaging but wow this stuff blends out to be the sparkliest makeup product I've ever owned, it contains so much gold, lilac, silver, blue and green micro glitter which I think would look seriously insane blended over the body at festivals or parties, I just cant get over how much it sparkles! The Unicorn Horn Cream Highlighting Sticks have the most beautiful duo-chrome shift to them as well as containing super sparkly micro glitter, I actually really like using these on the cheek bones because the duo-chrome effect is stunning and they blend like a dream without being sticky!

The Prism Princess Powders* (£6.00) are highlighting powders that come in a little quad palette, the shades within the quad can be used to highlight with or if you spritz your brush with some setting spray you can use them as eye shadows too. The formula of these shades aren't as soft to the touch as the Rainbow Highlighter, they have a kind of baked feel to them but the glow and sparkle still really comes through!
Next Up is the Prism Starry Eyes Eyeshadow Cream in Celestial* (£1.99), this can be used alone or on top of eyeshadow to create a iridescent, sparkly pop of colour! Celestial looks white in the packaging but once swatched it turns into an pink and purple iridescent sheen, it's so pretty and I'd even use this as a highlighter!

Finally I've been trying out the Prism Galactic Glosses in Ariel 4 Eric* and Aurora* (£1.99). These glosses are made with a special iridescent pigment that creates a gorgeous lustre finish, you can wear these alone but I think they work better as lipstick toppers and can create epic lip looks. Ariel 4 Eric is a sheer purple colour which is mainly made up of purple micro glitters and Aurora is an icy blue shade which is more opaque than Ariel 4 Eric and doesn't contain as much glitter it has more of a glossy sheen.

Overall this collection has been an absolute hit with me, I like to leave a trail of glitter everywhere I go - hence my blogs title being HaySparkle - so this is the perfect collection for me! I think it would work so well for the upcoming festival season and for summer parties, I love how verstile each product is too, you can literally use everything on your body, face, eyes and lips, it's such good value!

New Launches By Technic Cosmetics + Swatches!

Hey beaut's!

I've talked a hell of a lot about Technic Cosmetics over last few months on haysparkle.com and that's because I've really fallen in love with the brand, some of their products are now my makeup bag essentials so when they launch new pretties I cant wait to get my hands on them, lucky for me they have recently launched some gorgeous looking bits which I've been giving a whirl!
The first two newbies are Technic's VIP Colour Wave Eye & Cheek Palettes in Bronzed Bae* and Fairy Tale* (£6.99)! These are soooooo pretty, each palette contains five little wave segments of soft, baked colour which double up as eyeshadows where you can use each little segment separately, or you can swirl a brush through all the colours and use them as pretty epic highlighters. I've been using Bronzed Bae loads because it's so easy to use on an everyday basis and the highlight that the first 2 shades within Bronzed Bae creates is absolutely stunning! Fairy Tale is much more of a fun, daring palette, I absolutely love it because it just reminds me of unicorns and all things pretty and used together as a highlighter it's just 'wow', I've never rainbow highlighted before but it looks so cool on the cheek bones. You can also use both of these palettes wet or dry and really up the pigment and hi-shine if you wish but they do work really well dry in my opinion!
I think it's absolutely genius that Technic have launched their very own Shade Adjusting Collection, it so hard to find the perfect shade of foundation these days so any lightening or darkening drops that you can easily buy are a winner. As well as the light and the dark drops Technic also have Shade Adjusting Highlighter Drops* (£2.99) which I've been obsessed with! I'm all about glowy skin and a few drops of this gorgeous stuff mixed in with my foundation creates the perfect dewy, radiant skin, in the Spring/Summer months these drops are going to be an essential for me.
Finally we have the Technic Shadow Sticks*, I LOVE eyeshadow sticks because their so quick and easy to use, you can simply scribble the colour on your eyelids and either use your finger or a brush to blend the colour out and your ready to go! I have the shades Frosting - an icy white perfect for highlighting the brow bone and inner corners, After Midnight - a deep blue/black with tiny silver sparkles running through it, Rose Gold - my favourite shade out of the four and the one I've been reaching for the most, as the name would suggest and its a pretty rose gold/copper shade and finally I have Chocolate Fondant - a super wearable metallic bronze! All four of these shades are super pigmented, blend out beautiful and can be worn alone if your in a bit of a pinch or they work great as base/primer shades for powder shadows, Frosting really helps bright eyeshadows pop too!

Are you a fan of Technic? Which products are your favourite? I'd love to know!
