Merci Handy Refreshing Face Mist Review

 Hey beaut's!

Facial sprays and mists are huge right now and I for one am a total addict of them, theres nothing more refreshing than a facial spritz when it's hot and in the UK recently we've been lucky enough to have some pretty hot and muggy days and my Merci Handy Face Mist has been a handbag essential for me!

The Merci Handy Face Mists are available in three different scents but I have the Hello Sunshine* scent which smells like summer holidays in a can, it literally smells like a mixture of suncream and tropical fruits, it's lush! The aim of this mist is to instantly
refresh and hydrate the skin at any time or place but especially when it hot and I've been obsessed with mine ever since I got it, it really does instantly freshen me up, its such a nice feeling. The mist itself is super, super fine, it's actually described as a soft water cloud and that's exactly what it is, never soaks my face at all meaning I can even spray it over my makeup without disrupting it, and it never leaves a film or sticky feeling on my face either which I'm happy about, and because the Merci Handy mists are free from parabens and alcohol they aren't  drying on the skin at all which is a major plus for me.
Overall I love this little facial mist, it's perfect for when I want to freshen up throughout the day and the smell is seriously divine. It's also such a cute little 30ml size too so it fits into my handbag or makeup bag with ease so I can have it with me at all times!

Have you tried any of the Merci Handy Face Mists? Which scent is your favourite? I'd love to know!

The Merci Handy Face Mists are available from selected TOPSHOP stores and online at Topshop.com for £4.50 each!

Topshop Magic Liner Review

Hey beaut's!

I absolutely love a good ole winged liner look, I basically wear winged liner everyday without fail which means I've tried my fair share of liquid liners over the years, however I'm still always up for trying and experimenting with different liners and when I saw Topshop's Magic Liner was finally in stock in my local Topshop (I've been after it a while) I just had to buy it to try.

The Topshop Magic Liner in the shade Engraved has an ultra thin felt pen style applicator which is great for creating very sharp, precise lines and if you struggle with feline flicks then this eyeliner will really make things easy for you. The tiny nib works great for any detailed work and for creating very thin lines, which is nice for those days when you want a less dramatic eyeliner look or if you have small eyelids like myself, this eyeliner is great because it doesn't take up much lid space that thicker liners are prone to doing. The liner itself is very easy to use and control, the nib has a good amount of flexibility but is sturdy at the same time and applies really smoothly with no tugging at the skin or skipping which is great! The formula and pigmentation is great, its an intense jet black shade that has a slight shine to it once it's dried, and doesn't fade, smudge or flake on me through out the day, I was actually quite shocked at this liners lasting power, I don't know why but I imagined it would fade throughout the day and lose it's intensity but it doesn't at all. I had also read a couple of reviews on the Topshop website where some people experienced smudging but other didn't, but I've not once had experienced any what so ever, I don't know if that's down to me having dryer skin but once my liners on it ain't going now where he he.
Overall I'm so happy I finally got to try the Topshop Magic Liner because I bloody love it, it's jet black, easy to use, long lasting, doesn't smudge or flake, can create thin or thick lines and is affordable too, I'll definitely be repurchasing this bad boy for sure.

Have you tried the Topshop Magic Liner beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

You can find the Topshop Magic Liner for £6.50 HERE.

April Beauty Haul

Hey beaut's!

I hit the shops recently and decided to treat myself to some makeup bits and pieces that I've been wanting to try for such a long time, you know those bits that you always add to your online basket and then delete or I pick them up in the shop and then put them back again, well this time I thought 'sod it' and treated myself.
Something I've wanted for a while is Mac's Nylon Eyeshadow, the reason it's taken me until now to buy it is because I actually only wanted it for one specific thing... inner corner highlight! Seems pretty odd getting an eyeshadow for one purpose but honestly it's the prettiest 'frosty' inner corner highlight that lasts all day, I love it and I'm so pleased I bought it. Sticking with highlighter, I finally decided to cave and buy the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette and wow...I actually feel stupid for waiting so long to buy this, if your into super intense highlighter then you NEED to get this palette asap, I love it more than my Mary Lou-Manizer and that's really saying something. I'd also been lusting after the Topshop Magic Liner for a while but it was never in stock in my Topshop until the other day so I snapped that up pretty sharpish and so far so good. I then popped into Primark because I wanted to get another one of their amazing oval brushes, this time around I opted for the smaller one best suited for concealer and contouring.
I then popped into Superdrug and noticed their 3 for 2 offer across makeup was back on so it would of been rude not to get a couple of bits wouldn't it. I actually opted for three things from Barry M because I needed to repurchase my trusty Mist and Fix Dewy Makeup Setting Spray (review HERE), then I saw they finally had the Colour Correcting Wand for Dark Circles back in stock so I quickly grabbed that, and then if that wasn't good enough they also had the brand new Molten Metal Nail Paint shades in and Pink Ice just HAD to be mine.

Look out for some full reviews coming soon on each of these products beaut's but so far I'm loving everything I picked up.

What new makeup have you picked up recently? I'd love to know!

Autumn/Winter Boot Wishlist #1 ♥

Hey beaut's!

It's now starting to get very chilly here in the UK and I can almost smell Autumn in the air so it's time to stock up that winter wardrobe with cosy essentials starting with boots. I absolutely love boots, I just find they are so versatile and can generally go with any outfit from dresses with tights to jeans and even thick leggings with frilly socks, the list really is endless so I thought I'd put together a little wish list of a few pairs of boots I'm lusting after at the moment, and yes I do love a good ankle boot in the Chelsea style he he.

I love Barbour as a brand, I've had a pair of their boots and wellies in the past and the quality is just amazing so I'd highly recommend them. These heeled Chelsea Boots really caught my eye and are absolutely ideal for this season when you need to be practical but also incredibly stylish, personally I'd love to rock these with some super skinny jeans and an over sized, thick jumper as you'd still get that laid back vibe but the heel would give it that put together/smart look at the same time, as well as adding some height which I really need seeing as I'm shorty.

I adore these Lunar Leather Ankle Boots, they look so sleek and stylish and would be perfect for casual occasions but could easily be worn more dressy too. I love how the stretchy fabric at the side is slightly different to your average Chelsea style of boots too, love them!

I love a good couple of pairs of knee length boots for when it's super cold because not only do they looks gorgeous but they keep your legs so warm too ha ha. This Pia design by Jones Bootmaker is so minimalistic and just has a gunmetal grey chain link around the back, these are very similar to a pair of boots I had last year and I lived in them so I'm keen to get some just like them so I'm super happy a came across these and saw the design is current.

Rieker Boots (Shoetique £102.00)
These Reiker Boots in brown made it onto my wishlist because I love buckle detailing on boots and just like the black knee high boots above they are so practical and keep your feet and legs all toasty when it's super cold.

I'm a sucker for the classic looking heeled Chelsea boots and these ones from Topshop have literally stolen my heart. Again they can be styled in so many ways and are a definite staple to have in your boot stash.

Lastly I couldn't resist adding these brogue style of ladies boots, they are quite different for me as I think they look slightly masculine but that really gets outfit ideas flowing in my head and I just want to style them so girlie, ohhh just imagine these with some frilly socks or thick knitted tights and a skirt.

What boots are on your wish list this Autumn/Winter beaut's? I'd love to know.

Hey beaut's!

Another...Beauty Wishlist! ♥

Hey beaut's!

It's that time again... I know, I know, I'm beauty/makeup wishlist obsessed at the moment but theres always so many gorgeous looking bits that I want, plus the fact that I'm a makeup and beauty addict doesn't help either ha ha! Firstly I've got my eye on a couple of Barry M's new releases, their Sunset nail polish range was released last week and looks amazing, I have already picked one of the shades up to try but I really need the top coat for it's concpet to work, the range is basically aimed at getting salon worthy gel nails at home without the need of a lamp to cure your nails, yup I'm all over that concept he he. Another new release by Barry M is their afterglow bronzer, theres a light and dark version to collect and I'm just interested to see how they perform. Next we have a new release from the ever so fabulous Makeup Revolution, this time around they have brought out an ultimate brows kit that includes everything you need to create amazing, show stopping brows and I need to try that beauty! Other things I'm absolutely lusting after include some Topshop makeup, L'Oreal's eyeshadow palette which looks stunning and Soap and Glory's Micellar Water. I hope you like the things on my wishlist beaut's, please let me know if you have any of them too.

Casual Outfit I'm Lusting After! #2 ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I thought I'd share with you all another outfit that I'm currently lusting after, I done a post like this back in February and really liked switching things up abit and adding a little bit of fashion to my blog so I thought I'd do it all over again today. This time around I've gone for something super cute and super casual, sometimes I like nothing more than to just chuck on a pair of jeans with a baggy t-shirt and trainers and I've found a couple more pieces that fit perfectly into that cute/casual category that I need in my life. I hope you like it as much as I do beaut's...

Outfit I'm Lusting After #1 ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I thought I'd share with you all an outfit I'm currently lusting after, I've never really done this style of post before so I thought I'd switch things up and add a new edition to my blog, I might do these post on a weekly basis, as let face it us ladies are always lusting after tones of clothes aren't we ha ha. This outfit I'm after at the moment is a nice transitional outfit from Winter to Spring, the ripped-high waisted skinny jeans from Topshop are huge this season and look great with any outfit as they can be dressed up or down, the crop top from New Look I thought was so pretty and because the jeans have the high waisted factor their shouldn't be to much belly out at all he he. The blazer style jacket also from New Look, adds the warmth and really makes the outfit look more smart and grown up and could be used during the day and night. I absolutely love block heel ankle boot's, I think they'd work perfectly with this outfit and are practical as they keep your tootsies nice and warm and I thought the RayBan's would be a nice finishing touch as hopefully we will have a nice sunny spring this year ha ha.

I Can Feel The Love Can You Feel It Too ♥

Hey beaut's!

Valentines Day is fast approaching so today I thought I'd put together a post of all the Valentines themed goodies that I love the look of and that I'm lusting after at the moment. So let's start with the Valentines Lush Collection,  isn't it just gorgeous, I'm always lured in by Lush's limited edition collections so I need to make an emergency order very soon before its too late. The Prada Candy Gift Set is just so girlie and beautiful and I absolutely fell in love with the scent last year, I've since used up my entire bottle so I'd love to have another bottle in my life. The little black love heart shorts from Topshop are a must have for me, high waisted shorts really suit my shape and these would be perfect to wear right now with tights and boots. Next I thought I'd add a few makeup items that I'm lusting after right now that fit perfectly with the Valentines theme. The Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 107 is such a stunning red  shade and I seem to have lost mine so I definitely need to repurchase that beauty, I'm also after one of the Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts Blushes and the gorgeous Models Own Diamond Luxe nail polish, so pretty!

So today I thought I would share with you all a few of my Autumn/Winter essentials...

Tanya Burr Nail Polish in New York Night
Plum, Dark Purple and Berry Red nails polishes are a must during the Autumn/Winter months and this one by the lovely Tanya Burr is perfect, you could also team it with sparkly tops coats to add abit of glitz and pizazz!

Topshop Pom Beanie
How cute is this beanie, I need it, I want it, I have to have it!

Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palette in Flawless
You are probably all sick of me going on about Makeup Revolutions Flawless Eyeshadow Palette but I'm just so in love with it. The palette contains 32 gorgeous neutral eye shadows with a mixture of matte, shimmer and glitter finishes, its just prefect!

Makeup Revolution Lipstick in Rebel With A Cause
If you have a spare £1 rolling around in the bottom of your handbag then take it into Superdrug and buy yourself this lipstick, its the perfect berry red shade for the Autumn/Winter and feels so nourishing on the lips, its also a great dupe for MAC's Rebel, ohhh!

Parka Coat from BHS
A cosy Parka is a must for me during the Autumn/Winter and I have one from last year that I absolutly love that looks identical to this one from BHS, I just love the leather sleeves and cosy hood, plus the colours go with everything and most importantly it keeps me snug!

Red Heart Print Dressing Gown from New Look
You always need that one snugly piece of nightwear that you just cant be without when its super cold and for me its has to be my Primark fleece pj bottoms and a super soft dressing gown and this one from New Look is gorgeous!

Topshop Red Ankle Socks
I'm a massive fan of wearing ankle boots during the Autumn/Winter months and I love teaming them with cute little ankle socks that peek out the top, I literally have loads in all different styles and colours, however I need to get these cuties from Topshop.
Black Ankle Boots from New Look
As I said before I love me some ankle boots at this time of the year and I'm lusting after these biker style, grungy boots from New Look, in fact I might even order them after I finish this post he he.

Cinnamon Stick by Yankee Candle
I am literally a crazy candle lady at this time of the year... Yup I already have 6 Christmas Yankee Candles ready and waiting to be burnt but Cinnamon Stick is a favourite of mine every year, its just so warming, inviting and makes your house smell so cosy.

Christmas Jumper Fun on Christmas Day

Hey girlie's!!!

Today I thought I'd do abit of a fun festive post as I just couldn't resist sharing my love for some cute Christmas Jumpers that I've had my eye on!!!

I know lots of us girlie's have different traditions on what we like to wear on Christmas Day, It could be a PJ day, a casual day, a dress up day, which is what I usually do, but this year I'm embracing the Christmas Jumper!!!

I mean, whats not to love about a Christmas Jumper, their cute, snugly and they are great at concealing the massive food baby that I will have on Christmas Day ha ha.

Here are some of my Christmas Jumper picks for this Christmas Day....

I love this gorgeous knitted sequin present jumper from Topshop, it is quite pricey being £59.00 but I think if your wanting to splash out this Christmas this is definitely the jumper for you.

How adorable is this!!! I love the fact that this jumper from New Look isn't too in your face and doesn't really scream Christmas although you still know its for Christmas time wear.

As soon as I saw this jumper I immediately bought it!!! You may or may not know I'm slightly obsessed with watching the film Home Alone so this 'Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal' jumper is right up mu street and just had to be mine. I got mine from Boohoo for £15.00.

I love cute little reindeer's, I generally buy anything with cute little reindeer's on or fawns, I'm terrible, i just cant resist the cuteness ha ha. You can find this Rudolph Reindeer jumper on chiarafashion.co.uk for £14.95.

I thought this was quite a girly option with its sweet little love heart pattern, the back of the jumper is also completely covered in little red love hearts too! It's also think you could get away with wearing this throughout winter as it not too Christmas crazy ha ha. You can get the jumper from shelikes.com for £16.00.

And there you have it, some Christmas Jumper Fun!!! I hope you liked this quick festive post and don't forget it not too late to join in and embrace the Christmas Jumper trend ha ha.

Are you going to wear a Christmas Jumper on Christmas Day??? Id love to know!!!
