New Look Pure Colour Makeup | Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Recently I've been seeing a lot of fashion stores releasing their very own makeup and beauty lines, and being the makeup addict that I am I just couldn't wait to give some of them a go, the latest range I've come across is Pure Colour by New Look! Pure Colour is said to be New Looks solution to stylish yet cost-effective cosmetics, available now in 120 stores across the UK and online at newlook.com. With 100-pieces of makeup to choose from such as lipsticks and glosses to face powders and nail polishes, and even makeup tools it's safe to say theres something for every makeup loving gal out there in this collection.
I've been road testing four makeup products from the Pure Colour range and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised at just how good and pretty they are.
Pure Colour Lipstick in Burgundy* £3.99

I absolutely love a red lip and this Pure Colour Lipstick in Burgundy just ticks all the boxes for me, it super creamy on the lips and is extremely moisturising because its enriched with vitamin E, the pigmentation is amazing and I find it lasts a good 4 hours on me before it starts to fade slightly in the centre of my mouth. The design of the lipstick bullet itself is great at prise application and the end of the bullet actually has a curve to it so which just hugs the lips allowing it sweep on beautifully.

Pure Colour Liquid Lip Gloss in Sweet Rose* £3.99

Next I gave New Looks Liquid Lip Gloss a go, now I usually really dislike lip glosses because of their horrendous sticky texture but new looks offering is surprisingly not sticky at all, what I will say though is that it does have quite a thick, gloopy texture that can sometimes feel abit heavy but that's only if you apply a bit to much gloss to the lips so less is more with this product. The shade I got 'Sweet Rose' is a 'your lips but better' kind of shade which contains some very minute glitter particles but I find it's the perfect shade for everyday wear and does look super pretty and delicate on the lips, as for lasting power... I'd say it lasts around an hour on me which isn't necessarily long lasting at all but I find most glosses wear off quickly anyway. Overall I do really like this gloss and think it's the perfect partner for your handbag for an on the go glossy look.

Pure Colour Eyeshadow Palette in Warm Nudes* £4.99
I must admit I wasn't expecting much from this Warm Nudes Eyeshadow Palette but in actually fact I love it and have been wearing it everyday since I got it so that shut me up didn't it ha ha. The palette itself contains five well pigmented eyeshadows all of which have a gorgeous metallic finish, the shades are all very warm in tone but are still quite sutle which look stunning during these hot Summer months but can easily be worn all year round. I also think these shades are so easy to wear and could definitely take you from day to night, you could just apply a wash of any of the first four shades within the palette all over your lid and then use the darkest shade to add all the definition and smokiness.

Pure Colour Eyeshadow Pencil in Brown* £2.99
And lastly we have the Eyeshadow Pencil in Brown, this little beauty is super creamy, well pigmented and long lasting and can be worn alone on your lid for a quick wash of colour or it can be used as a base for when you want to achieve a smokey eye look. Personally for me I love using the eyeshadow pencil for adding definition to my lower lash line, it so quick to use I just swipe it along my lower lash line and either use a pencil brush or my finger just to blend it in, it literally takes seconds to use and look so pretty.

Have you tried any of the New Look Pure Colour Collection beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know.

Don't forget I'm currently giving away a Nanshy 'Gobsmack Glamorous' Face Makeup Brush Set, you can enter the giveaway here.

Hey beaut's!

Today I thought I'd share with you all another outfit that I'm currently lusting after, I done a post like this back in February and really liked switching things up abit and adding a little bit of fashion to my blog so I thought I'd do it all over again today. This time around I've gone for something super cute and super casual, sometimes I like nothing more than to just chuck on a pair of jeans with a baggy t-shirt and trainers and I've found a couple more pieces that fit perfectly into that cute/casual category that I need in my life. I hope you like it as much as I do beaut's...

Party Season Must Haves!

Party Season Must Haves!
Hey beaut's!

Today I thought I'd talk about all things Partyyyyyy! Yes.. the festive season is upon us and it's time to get glamed up for those Christmas/New Year Party's. There's something so nice about going to Christmas/New Year's parties, I just love the fact that everything is all sparkly and covered in sequins, it literally takes glitz and glam to another level which I absolutely love, so today Ive picked out a few of my favourite things fashion and beauty related for the party season!

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Ruby Red Slippers
I was lucky enough to receive this nail polish in a Glossybox yonks ago and luckily still have some left in my nail polish collection and I just had to include it in this post. It’s honestly the perfect shade for the party season, its a burgundy-black base with small glitter particles mixed with larger, hexagon-shaped glitter.

Ippolita Jewellery
I love massive statement rings on evenings out, I've chosen a ring here as rings are my preference but any statement jewellery is a must for the party season, it just depends on your outfit whether you go for earrings, necklace or a ring.

Anya Hindmarch Clutch Bag
How stunning is this clutch bag... I bought one very similar to this for my Christmas party's that I've been too and absolutely love it, I mean you just have to have a gold glittery clutch at this time of year don't you??

Short Sleeve Cocktail Dress
I'm in actual love with this sequin dress from New Look, it's just stunning and so easy to wear, just throw on some black heels and curl your hair and voila.. perfection! They also have this dress in gold which is equally as stunning.

Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp Palette
Wow this Charlotte Tilbury palette is amazing and features the perfect shades for this time of the year, the mixture of captivating crimsons to sumptuous rose golds compliment each other so well. This palette is definitely going on my lust list, it's just too beautiful not to own.

Faux Fur Coat
It's absolutely freezing right now in the UK and finding a coat to keep you warm that goes with your party outfit is a nightmare, however a faux fur coat is always a winner, it keeps you so snug and warm whilst looking bang on trend.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss In Enchanted Forest
The lovely Tanya Burr has released some brand new lip gloss shades for us all just in time for the party season and one of the new gloss shades 'Enchanted Forest' caught my eye straight away, it looks like the most beautiful, glossy, dark berry red shade, arrhh I need it in my life.

Black Ankle Strap Shoes
These party shoes from New Look are perfect for any festive party, they aren't too high so odds are they wont hurt your feet too much if your doing lots of dancing and they'll be easy to walk in too, they have a nice subtle glittery strap across the front which will go with most outfits and they generally just look lovely.

Ardell 'Demi Wispies'
No party makeup look would be complete without some gorgeous false lashes and these popular Demi Wispies by Ardell would work amazingly, they dramatic enough but not to over the top and heavy looking.

And there you have it beaut's, just a few of my Party Season Must Haves... What are yours?? I'd love to know.

Festive Reds | Christmas Gift Guide

Festive Reds | Christmas Gift Guide
Hey beaut's!!!

Since there are only 31 sleeps until Christmas, eeeeekkk yup, that's right just 31 sleeps... I thought I'd do another Christmas gift guide with a girlie festive red theme, I actually done one of these last year and really enjoyed doing it so I thought I'd do another he he. I've gone for a mixture of cute bits you can pop in for stocking fillers and then some bigger bits for under the tree. I hope you enjoy!!!
Marc Jacobs 'Dot' Perfume
Marc Jacobs perfumes always make great gifts, not only do his perfumes smell incredible but the packaging of all Marc Jacobs perfumes are cute and look that extra bit special.

Lush Santa's Lip Scrub £5.50
Everyone loves abit of Lush for Christmas don't they... And I think this Santa Lip Scrub would be an amazing stocking filler, it's cola flavoured and can be licked off once you've polished your lips, yum!

Christmas Jumper from Boohoo £15.00
I just couldn't do a Christmas gift guide without a classic Christmas jumper, it just had to be done. There are loads to choose from at the moment in all different retailers but I chose this cute reindeer and snowflake one from boohoo because I think you could get away with wearing it after Christmas for a short while too.

Tanya Burr 'Enchanted Forest' Lip Gloss £6.99
The lovely Tanya Burr has some brand NEW releases for all of us just in time for Christmas and one of the new gloss shades caught my eye straight away. Enchanted Forest looks like the most beautiful dark berry red shade which would be perfect for the festive season and I think it would make the perfect stocking filler.

Red Cheque Pyjama Top and Shorts £7.99 each
This pyjama set from New Look is absolutely gorgeous! Tartan is really in this year and I just love the dark shade of this particular tartan print on this cute little set. I think pyjama's are an absolute winner when it comes to Christmas prezzies and if your not to keen
on the little shorts then New Look actually do the same print in long bottoms too, so its quite nice that you can mix and match.

Heart And Stripe Slipper Socks £3.99
Everyone loves some cute snugly socks for Christmas and these fluffy heart/striped ones from New Look are just so cute.

Yankee Candle 'Holiday Magic' £13.00
It wouldn't be a haysparkle gift guide without the appearance of a festive candle, as you may know from my Instagram I'm a candle addict he he. I chose Yankee Candle's 'Holiday Magic' as it just sounds so Christmasy and I can only imagine it smells simply incredible.

Iris & Edie Red Slipper Boots £18.00
Slippers are an absolute essential for this time of year and something everyone loves, nobody likes cold tootsies do they! I think these little bootie style slippers from Debenhams are lovely and perfect to use after Christmas too as they aren't overly festive looking.

Red Fair Isle Hot Water Bottle and Socks Set £12.00
A hot water bottle is something nice to give to someone who really loves their snugly duvet days or if your anything like me, I like to pop it in the bed to make the inside of my bed nice and warm before I get in it ha ha. This set from Debenhams actually comes with matching fluffy socks which I think is a really nice touch.

Models Own Diamond Luxe Heart Red £4.99
And lastly.. Another prefect stocking filler for any beauty lover is a pretty nail polish and my goodness this Models Own Diamond Luxe nail polish is a goodun! The nail polish itself is infused with real diamond dust which is just flipping amazing and theres 10 shades to choose from in the collection so theres a shade to suit all!

I hope you enjoyed another Christmas gift guide from me beaut's and I hope it's given you a few idea's on what to get the ladies in your life, whether it be for your family or friends.

Pretty Pastels ♥

Pretty Pastels

Hey girlie's
I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I'm super happy spring is finally on it's way, I love the lighter evenings, sunny days, blue skies, pretty flowers and of course the pretty pastel colours, in fact I'm pastel mad at the moment, so today I thought I'd do a little post on all the cute pastel pieces that have caught my eye recently....

Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Little Duck and Mini Marshmallow's both £5.99
Ohhh how stunning is Tanya Burr's new nail polish and lip gloss collection! Little Duck and Mini Marshmallow's have particularly caught my eye within the collection and are both perfect spring, pastel shades. Ive recently seen Tanya tweeting and instgraming pictures of her nails whilst wearing these two
shades and they look gorgeous on the nail and they seem completely opaque too, also how cute are the shade names, it completely lures me in he he.

Barry M Silk Nail Paint in Meadow £3.99
The Barry M Silk Collection is stunning, I recently purchased Blossom and Pearl and even though 'Meadow' is quite similar to Tanya Burr's Little Duck, the silk finish is what I'm lusting after with this one. I just love the semi matte look, its so different and unique, I need the rest of the collection in my life for sure.

Floral Crown Headband | New Look £3.99
I love it when all the floral headbands come back into stores, they are essential for any upcoming festivals and can really finish off an outfit! Also if you having a boring hair day you can always make your hair stand out from the crowd by wearing one of these.

Floral Vest Top by Mango £28.00
I fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it, I love floral prints and  pastel shades so this is like a match made in heaven for me. There's so many outfit's you can create with this top too, you could wear it casual or for evenings out, tuck it into shorts, skirts and jeans, you could wear it more loosely over jeans and so on, I defiantly need it in my life ha ha.

Pink Double Pocket Coat | New Look £55.00
Oh my.... Isn't this coat stunning! I think its essential to have a pretty spring time coat to reach for on those chilly mornings or days that we get in the UK. New Look also have this coat in a mint shade to which is just as gorgeous as the pink he he.

Barry M Pretty Pastels Eyeshadow Trio £5.99
I must admit pastel eye shadow's aren't usually my thing but for spring I'm going to give them a go. I love the shades in this little trio, and as it's just the 3 shades in this palette it's not too overwhelming if your not used to using pastel shades like me, it kind of breaks you in slowly he he.

Polka Dot Ankle Socks | Dorothy Perkins £3.00
I love frilly little ankle socks and a big trend this year is to get your jelly shoes out and team them with frilly ankle socks, I think these blue and white polka dots socks are just so cute for this season and you can really wear them with most shoes and outfits cant you?

Pink Floral/Lace Skirt | New Look £19.99
And finally this pretty skirt, which I think will look fabulous all throughout spring and summer... Wearing it high waisted with a cute silky camisole tucked in would look gorgeous, you could even wear it for evenings out too, it's so versatile.

And there you have it beaut's, a few pretty pastel bits and bobs that have caught my eye recently that I think will look super pretty during spring time!

What pastel  fashion pieces or makeup goodies are you lusting over this spring?? I'd love to know.
