October Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

October is my all time favourite month, everything is just so autumnal and cosy and Christmas is creeping ever closer which I love, mind you I don't like how quick this month has gone, I'm such an autumnal gal so I would like to cling onto October for a litter longer than 31 days he he! Anywho....it's favourites time again so I thought I'd share what makeup and beauty bits and pieces I've been loving throughout October, theres some good'un's beaut's!
I have fallen completely in love with my Morphe Fall Into The Frost Palette recently, I may have only had this little beauty for a few weeks but I've been using it every single day without fail and the quality has really impressed me! The palette contains 35 gorgeous warm toned shades that go hand in hand with autumn and the pigmentation and blendability is seriously insane, it's hard to believe the palette only costs £23.00, what a beauty bargain!
YSL's Black Opium has been my favourite scent all throughout October, its so warm, musky and sexy and it will be perfect for the winter months ahead and the party season too. I've been slathering on Zoella's Winter Wonder Hand - Hand Cream all day everyday recently, yup it's that time again when my poor hands get all dry but Zoella's offering has been keeping all the dryness at bay so far, and it smells incredible which is an added bonus! Going back to the eyes, L'Oreal's Paradise Mascara hasn't left my lashes, oddly when I first tried this back in August I wasn't that bowled over by it, I mean I thought it was a good mascara but it smudged and transferred on me which was annoying so I found myself not reaching for it much. Then fast forward to October, I tried it out again and I've had no transferring or smudging what so ever, I'm putting this down to the mascara possibly drying out a bit since I last used it but whatever it is I'm happy because it works perfectly now! Finally for lips I've still been loving Revlon's Black Cherry Lipstick although I've been pairing it with the Collection Lip Liner in Damson and they work so well together, they are the perfect combo for Autumn that's for sure and I even rock Damson alone sometimes too.

What have you been loving this October  beaut's?? I'd love to know!

October Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

It's that time again.... Monthly favourites time! Wow hasn't this month gone quick, I know I say that every month but I cant quite believe how quick these months are whizzing past! I'm literally in my element at the moment because it's my favourite time of the year, every things super autumnal now and theres Christmas vibes everywhere, eeeakkk I love it! This months beauty favourites really do have autumn in mind, I'm loving berry shades so much at the moment and my makeup bag and nail polish stash are full of those yummy hues!
My first favourite this month was a no brainer really, it just had to be the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. This palette may only come complete with four shades but oh my those four shades are gorgeous and work so well either used all together or used separately, the shades are all warm-toned neutrals that lean more towards red and copper tones and are stunning for this time of the year, not to mention the quality of these shadows is insane! Sticking with the eyes I've also been loving my Maybelline Color Tattoo is Metallic Pomegranate, it's a stunning cranberry shade with gold glitters suspended within it and is perfect for a quick wash of colour on the eyelid when your in a rush, or it creates the perfect long lasting base for eyeshadows to sit on top of.

Base makeup wise I've been obsessed with using my Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation with my Real Techniques Multi Sculpting Sponge, these two go hand in hand together to create a lightweight, natural look which is perfect for everyday and then I just use my Maybelline FIT Me Concealer on any blemishes and underneath my eyes. This Maybelline concealer is so so good by the way, it's super creamy and bendable with great coverage and doesn't move at all throughout the day, I love it!

For lipstick this month I have been wearing all sorts but one lippie that I've been wearing the most out of them all is MAC's Syrup! Syrup is a muted pink with sheer plummy tones running through it, great for someone who wants to wear a berry/plum lip but doesn't want to go too bold, it's a lustre finish too which I love at this time of the year because its creamy and moisturising so it's perfect for when my lips are that bit dryer.

For my nails I've been sticking to the same two polishes all month and that's Barry M's Raspberry and Copper Mine, this is such an autumnal duo that looks super pretty, I use Copper Mine as an accent nail colour on my thumb and ring finger and then Raspberry goes on the rest of my nails, I love it!

Finally my last favourite this month is the Zoella Hungry Hands Hand Cream, I was so exited about this release and it certainly didn't disappoint, it's such a lovely hand cream that nourishes and soaks straight into the skin, not to mention it smells absolutely incredible! Check out my full review HERE beaut's!

What have you been loving this month beaut's? I'd love to know!

9BAR £2.49
Firstly this month we have 9Bars, these are great to throw into your lunch box or can be popped into your handbag for when you want a snack on the go but you want to be slightly healthier. The original carob hit version is packed full of super seeds such as sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and hemp seeds which together will give you that added energy boost that you might need.

Ciro Passata and Chopped Tomato's £2.25
Next we have a bottle of Ciro Pasatta and a tin of Chopped Tomato's, both are perfect for creating pasta sauces or being a base for chilli's and spaghetti bolognese sauces all of which get eaten a lot in our house so these wont last long.

Nudie Snacks x 2 £1.29 each
Nudie's Snacks are toasted coconut chips that are made from 100% natural ingredients and are said to be a great alternative to crisps. I must admit these do sound interesting and they now come in two all new flavours, Salt and Vinegar and Thai Sweet Chili, I cant wait to give them a go and see what they are like.

Kabuto Noodles £1.99
I've actually received some Kabuto Noodles in a Degustbox before and if I remember rightly they where super tasty, the noodles are basically like pot noodles on steroids ha ha, they are healthier, tastier and of course very convenient to just throw into your bag for work.

Chip Strips x2 £2.00 each
These Chip Strips sound amazing and I have a feeling they might be slightly like Pringles which I love but are just differently shaped, mmm yummy!

Lorina Coconut Lime £1.49
Lorina is a premium french lemonade that uses 100% natural ingredients and is free from any artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, the coconut and lime flavour I received sounds really refreshing and I cant wait to try it.

Geeta's Chutney and Curry Paste £3.10

Next up is couple of goodies from Geeta's, firstly theres the Korma Curry Paste which I must admit I probably wont use because I like a nice spicy curry and a Korma just wont cut it for me and secondly theres a Lime and Chili Chutney which is said to have a rather fiery kick to it which I think will be perfect for dipping.

The Snack Organisation Freeze Dried Fruit £1.00
The first of two things from The Snack Organisation is this bag of Freeze Dried Apricot, this can be used to snack on or you can sprinkle it on top of yoghurt's, ice cream or cakes and is actually 1 of your 5 a day.

The Snack Organisation Rice Crackers £1.00
The second yummy treat from The Snack Organisation are these lightly salted rice crackers, these are great or dipping when you have people round for a movie night and you could even use the Geeta's Chutney from before as I bet they taste great together.

Liberation Foods £2.00
If your nuts about nuts then this bag of oven baked salted cashews and peanuts will be right up your street, again these are great to pop into a little bowl to snack on whilst watching a movie or your favourite TV show.

President Voucher £2.00
Lastly this month Degustabox have given use a President Unsalted Butter voucher worth £2.00 which will come in handy when I do some baking next that's for sure.

Overall I love Degustabox, I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.

Degustabox have kindly given me a NEW discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop BLDEG15 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a whopping £6.00 discount when registering. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise treats ha ha!

What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts.

October Glossybox Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossy box time!!! This month Glossy box  have an ‘Autumn Spell’ themed box for us all which contains an impressive five full size products that claim too illuminate our complexion and treat our skin to the TLC it deserves on those colder days. I'm so happy with the contents this month, I love the fact everything is full size and I'll definitely get use out of every single thing in my box which is always a bonus!
So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil | Full Size | £15.00
The first product in this months box is the So Susan Haute Light Highlighting Pencil, this peach-hued creamy crayon can be used in numerous different ways to either highlight with on the brow bones, cheek bones and down the centre of the nose or you can run it along your lower waterline to make your eyes appear bigger and more awake, it's also quite a nice size crayon to use on the cupids bow to make your lips appear more plump and the inner corners of the eyes to brighten, it really is a nifty little pencil.

Talika Photo-Hydra Day Cream | Full Size | £24.85
Next up is the Talika Photo-Hydra Day Cream which claims to be a deeply hydrating moisturiser which also soothes and calms the skin, it also contains hyaluronic acid which helps plump and prime the skin. I cant wait to use this when the weather gets really cold because that's when my skin gets super dry and crys out for a moisturiser like this.

Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge | Full Size | £6.50
I was soooo happy when I saw this Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge in my box, I've been obsessed with makeup sponges recently and wont use anything else to blend my foundation and concealer in so this couldn't have arrived at a better time really. If you haven't used a beauty blender/makeup sponge before all you have to do is submerge it in water until it doubles in size, squeeze the excess water out and stipple/bounce away, you'll be left with an airbrushed, flawless finish and then you'll be addicted like I am he he.

Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara | Full Size | £17.95
Then we have the Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara, I actually received this mascara in original (no curl) in a Glossy box last year and I actually didn't like it but I'm definitely not going to let that stop me trying their 'Curl' edition this time around, hopefully this one will be much better than the other.

Lanolips Golden Ointment Dry Skin Salve | Full Size | £17.99
Lastly this month we have the Lanolips Golden Ointment Dry Skin Salve which is a multi-purpose balm that contains medical grade Lanolin, Manuka Honey and Vitamin E which gently soften and soothe dried out skin. I think this will be very similar to the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream as it can be applied anywhere on the body even the lips and is extremely moisturising, a definite handbag essential throughout the Autumn and Winter if you ask me.

What did you think of this month's box beaut's?? I'd love to know.

October Beauty Wishlist ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I'm back with another beauty wish list of all the things I'm lusting after this October in the beauty world. Firstly their seems to be a Youtuber boom at the moment with Fleur De Force releasing a beauty range, and then the lovely Tanya Burr and Zoella have both added brand new products to their collections so I definitely want to try some of those, in particular I'm after Zoella's new hand cream as I think it will be perfect for popping in my handbag at this time of the year and Tanya Burr's new blush, bronze and highlight trio looks gorgeous and is a must try for me. Sticking with youtubers... Pixiwoo have put together another gorgeous Real Techniques brush set for Christmas called The Deluxe Gift Set, it contains 5 brushes in total 2 of which I believe are set exclusives and theres even a white clutch bag to store your brushes in. Rimmel have also released a couple of new products recently that I'm interested in trying, firstly theres their Super Curler mascara which sounds fab and I want to see what their 'The Only 1' Lipsticks are all about. Something else that has caught my recently is the Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette, it just looks absolutely gorgeous and includes two baked highlighting powders, one luxurious cream highlighter and one silky shimmer powder highlighter, and the packaging in rose gold so we'll say no more he he.
