NOTD - Leighton Denny Wanderlust SS19 Collection!

Hey beaut's!

When it comes to nails Leighton Denny are where the parties attttt...They have so many pretty colours and finishes to choose from and their new Spring/Summer collection 'Wanderlust' is just gorgeous!

The Leighton Denny Wanderlust Collection consists of six shades all of which have been inspired by the high-life, memorable locations and summer sun, theres everything from nudes, red, gold and even a deep nautical navy to feast your eyes 'or should I say nails' on! I've been giving the shade 'Im In VIP*' a whirl which is a soft, cream pastel nude and I have to say I'm surprisingly in love with it because NEWSFLASH... I had never really worn a nail polish this light or this nude before, I just thought it wouldn't suit me but how wrong was I! It's a such a versatile shade that goes with anything and looks very clean and classy, it will also look epic with a tan and make those tootsies look mega cute too!
The formula of 'Im In VIP' is nice but it does need around 3 thin coats for complete coverage on my nails, the first couple of coats can be a little streaky but it doesn't bubble up at all and it drys really quickly which is always a bonus for me, especially when 3 coats are needed. Lasting power was really good though, I'm really heavy handed at work and at home with housework and what not and these kept up really well and didn't start chipping away until 3-4 days of wear which is really good for me, that's without a top coat too.
I really like the look of all the shades within this collection which is rare for me, I'm definitely going to need the coral and the gold shade that's for sure! Have you tried any of the shades from this collection beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

You can find the Leighton Denny Wanderlust Collection HERE.

Morgan Taylor's NEW 'The Colour Of Petals' Spring Collection Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

Fancy whacking some nail polish on your nails which are super duper pretty and perfect for Spring? Well you just might be in luck because Morgan Taylor's new collection - 'The Colour Of Petals' - is indeed drop dead gorgeous and Spring ready!!!

The 'Colour Of Petals' Collection is Morgan Taylor's new collection for Spring and contains five gorgeous shades that will leave pretty pink love hearts in your eyes every time you glance at your nails. The shade range in this collection is inspired by the soft and subtle colours of spring flowers and blossoms and I think it's so , so pretty! Theres everything from pretty pinks, toned-down nudes, a pop of peach and a purple all in pastel tones, their such classic shades for spring which I think all of us gals need in a our nail polish collection!
Here's the shade rundown.....
* Merci  Bouquet - A pastel lilac with a creme finish.
* Gardenia My Heart - A dusty pinkish -lilac again in a creme finish.
* I Feel Flower-ful - A very light pink with an almost beige undertone and creme finish.
* Young, Wild & Free-sia - A soft, light peach with a creme finish.
* Follow The Petals - A light peachy-pink with a gorgeous pearl finish. This is my favourite shade as you might be able to tell below.
* Strike A Pose - The perfect pastel pink with a creme finish.
The formula of the Morgan Taylor nail polishes within this collection are really nice, their all completely opaque after 2-3 coats and apply evenly and smooth without any bubbling or streaking and they don't take too long to dry either which is such a bonus because I hate waiting for nail polish to dry, well...dont we all. The lasting power is really good, I got a good 4ish days wear out of mine before I noticed some chipping and wear and tear, I'm quite heavy handed at work and at home doing washing up and housework all the time so a solid 4 days is good for me!
If your looking for some pretty pastels to add into your nail polish collection this Spring I think the new 'Colour Of Petals' collection is a must try, I've also found in the past that pastels can be a little hard to apply and look streaky but these don't at all, I've been pleasently surprised!

You can find the Morgan Taylor 'Colour Of Petals' Nail Polish Collection on Sally Beauty HERE for £10.99 each.

Nail Of The Day - My Favourite Autumnal Shade!

 Hey beaut's!

It's been absolutely ages since I popped a nail of the day post up and since I've fallen head over heels in love with a particular Barry M nail paint shade recently I thought it was about time I jumped back on the nail of the day bandwagon!
It's no secret I love a Barry M nail paint, to be honest I'd go and far as saying their my all time favourite brand for nail polishes and their shade Berry Cosmos has been my absolute go to on my hands and feet just recently, in fact as soon as it's chipped I remove it a re-apply it straight away - I've been loving it that much! Berry Cosmo is a stunning rich, deep plummy purple which just screams autumn/winter to me and because it's quite a dark shade it's perfect for Halloween too!
I find two thin coats is enough to achieve full opacity and I never experience any bubbling or streaking during the application process which is a bonus, in terms of lasting power I'd say I get a good 3 days wear out of Berry Cosmos until I notice some chipping, I think that's pretty good for a £2.99 polish on someone who's really heavy handed like I am at work and at home! If your looking for a pretty autumnal nail polish shade that wont break the bank I cant recommend Berry Cosmos enough, it's definitely one to have in your nail polish stash that's for sure!

Whats your favourite nail polish at the moment beaut's? I'd love to know!

Leighton Denny 'Winter Garden' Nail Polish Review

Hey beaut's!

I have been loving doing my nails recently, I've been faking it a lot with my handy press on nails by KISS which I love but over the last couple of weeks theres been one nail polish shade I've been obsessed with painting onto my nails... Leighton Denny's Winter Garden!
Winter Garden* is actually from Leighton Denny's new A/W collection, the Heritage Collection! The Heritage Collection is inspired by the beauty and tradition of the British countryside during the autumn and winter months and consists of six stunning shades which reflect the inspiration. I have to say Winter Garden is my favourite shade out of the collection, it's a stunning raspberry pink shade with a lovely glossy shine which is not only great for this time of the year but I can see myself getting loads of wear out of it all year round!
Formula wise... Winter Garden is super opaque and only takes two thin coats for complete coverage on my nails, when it goes on it isn't streaky at all and it doesn't bubble up either and it drys really quickly too which is always a bonus for me because I hate waiting for my nail polish to dry. Lasting power was really good too, I'm really heavy handed at work and at home with housework and what not and my nails didn't start chipping away until 3ish days of wear which is really good for me. Overall I'm totally obsessed with this shade and can see myself getting so much wear out of it, and that super glossy finish is EVERYTHING!!!

You can find the Leighton Denny Winter Garden Nail Polish for £12.00 each HERE.

Party Season Nails By KISS!

Hey beaut's!

The party season is fast approaching and it's time to start prepping for those Christmas parties. There's something so nice about going to Christmas parties isn't there, I just love the fact that everything is all sparkly and covered in sequins, it literally takes glitz and glam to whole new level which I absolutely love, it's all about the perfect dress, heels, makeup and nails isn't it, speaking of nails.... today I thought I'd talk all about easy, fuss free nails that will add that finishing touch to any party look in less than a minute!

KISS imPRESS Press On Nails are literally the easiest and quickest way to finish off any look, gone are the days of waiting for polish to dry or for that glitter top coat that looked pretty at the time but was a bitch to remove, yup these nails are fuss free because all you have to do is peel off the backing and stick them on your natural nails, simple! My favourite set at the moment are the Shimmer* set (£7.99), this set is made up of 30 nails in total 24 are in a stunning light pink shade and then theres 6 white glitter striped accent nails, all of which have a gorgeous glossy gel finish. Theres lots of different sized nails to pick from in the set so you can mix and match to get the best fit and once stuck on these babies will last a good couple of days depending how heavy handed you are.
The Swept Away* (7.99) nails are perfect paired with a little black dress, I love pairing a red lip and red nails with an LBD! These cuties are in the most gorgeous, festive shade of red with a mix of black polka dot accent nails, again theres 30 nails in total so you can mix and match for the most comfortable fit! Both sets of these imPRESS nails where a great length and shape for me too, I naturally have short, square nails so something that's a little bit longer than my own nails in the same sort of shape works best for me so these are perfect.

You can find KISS imPRESS Press On Nails For £7.99 in Superdrug HERE.

Elegant Touch Chrome Collection Review

Hey beaut's!

I haven't been blessed with the best natural nails, mine are so short, square and stubby so I love to fake it from time to time and Elegant Touch are always my first port of call, they just have so many pretty designs and colours to choose from that I can never resist and their new limited edition Chrome Collection is just stunning!

The Elegant Touch Chrome Collection consists of four gorgeous designs perfect for keeping our nails on trend without the faff of buffing on chrome powders! I've been giving two of the four sets a whirl recently and I am totally obsessed with them, one of the sets in particular called Chrome Kisses leaves me with love hearts in my eyes every time I look at them, their so pretty!
The Chrome Kisses* set have the popular stiletto shape with the most gorgeous peachy-pink holographic finish, in some lights they even look rose gold, I love them so much! The other set I have are the Molten Madame* set, these again have the stiletto shape and have a pearly/oyster colouring with a pinky holographic mirrored finish, these are perfect if you want more of an understated chrome nail!
Each set come completes with 24 nails in 10 different sizes so you can mix and match to get the best fit for you, theirs also some nail glue and a buffer to make the application process quick and easy amd their so comfortable once their on too!

Overall these are such a winner for me, as I said before my nails are so short and never grow and theres no way I'd be able to achieve these stunning designs just with nail polish, so if your looking for some gorgeous chrome nails this Autumn/Winter then give these a whirl, especially my favourite Chrome Kisses!

You can find the the Elegant Touch Chrome Collection for £9.95 & £8.95 HERE.

Halloween Nails by Leighton Denny!

 Hey beaut's!

Who else is super excited for all things Autumnal, roll on crunchy leaves, cosy jumpers, boots with cute socks, candles oh and Halloween... Speaking of Halloween, can you believe it's something like 50 more sleeps to go, time is just flying by like a witch on her broomstick isn't it (see what I did there hehe)... Anyway I'm going off track now, I've recently been giving three Leighton Denny nail polishes a whirl that are perfect for creating a spooky manicure.
The first shade that I've been trying out is Maneater*, this new shade from Leighton Denny is pretty much a Halloween staple, it's a wet-look glossy jet black shade that will add some spooky drama to those nails. I love how this shade applies, usually blacks can be pretty tricky to get opaque but two thin coats was all this needed and it was as dark as night, I love it. The next shade is Caught Red Handed*, this is a bright, iridescent red that gives a 'naughty but nice' impression. I feel like this shade could easily take you from Halloween to Christmas because it's such a striking red, it look fab on toe nails too. Finally we have Miss Behavin*, this is the most gorgeous enchanting midnight blue shade. It's the deepest shade of blue I own which has a hint of shimmer and sparkle to it, despite being quite mystical it's actually pretty too.
Formula wise... these three are lovely, they are all super opaque and only take two thin coats for complete coverage on my nails, when they go on they aren't streaky and they don't bubble up at all and they dry really quickly too which is always a bonus. Lasting power was really good too, I'm really heavy handed at work and at home with housework and what not and these kept up really well and didn't start chipping away until 3-4 days of wear which is really good for me.

Overall I really like all three of these polishes by Leighton Denny, for such dark shades they performed and applied so well and definitely add a spooky element to any manicure. Have you tried any shades from Leighton Denny beaut's? Which would you suggest? I'd love to know!

You can find the Leighton Denny Nail Polishes for £12.00 each HERE.

Quick and Easy imPRESS Press-On Manicure

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while now your'll probably already know that I bloody love imPRESS false nails, they have soooo many designs, lengths, shapes and pretty colours too choose from not to mention the application and removal process is so quick an easy, so I couldn't wait to give a couple more sets a whirl.
The first set of imPRESS nails that I couldn't wait to put on my nails where the Flash Mob* set. This set is made up of 30 nails in a gorgeous white design with an oval shape, theres some silver glitter nails to use as accents and even the cutest white nails with love written on them with a little pink heart, their so adorable. I have to say glitter press on nails are the way forward, I love having glittery accent nails but I'm always put off because it's so hard to remove glitter polish but these beauties save the day in that department.
The other imPRESS set I got are the Next Wave* set, again this set has 30 different sized nails to play with in mix of hot pink, chevron and silver glitter accent nails in an oval shape in a one-step gel finish! Theres lots of different sized nails to pick from so you can mix and match to get the best fit and once stuck on these babies are super durable so you can get the longest wear out of them.
Both sets of these imPRESS nails where a great length and shape for me too, I naturally have short, square nails so something that's a little bit longer than my own nails in the same sort of shape works best for me. I'd definitely recommend imPRESS nails if you have shorter nails, their super easy to wear and you can actually do things with them on, not like other nails I've tried which have been far too long for me. Their glue free and damage free too meaning you can apply them and remove them anywhere within a couple of minutes, making them a holiday/festival must have!

Are you a lover of press on nails beaut's? Which design is your favourite? I'd love to know!

You can find these imPRESS False Nails in Superdrug nationwide from 26th July for £7.99.

Barry M NEW Molten Metal Nail Paint in Pink Ice Review

Hey beaut's!

Barry M recently added five new nail polish shades to their existing Molten Metal Collection and I couldn't wait to check them out seeing as I was such a big fan of the shade Copper Mine from last years collection. All five of the new shades are stunning and range from blue metallics to a bright gold and theres even a black metallic that's been thrown in for good measure, but there was one shade that stood out to me the most that I knew I just had to buy to try first which was Pink Ice.
Pink Ice is the most stunning metallic shade for Spring/Summer, it's a pinky-rose gold foil looking shade with silver shimmers that catch the light beautifully. The formula of Pink Ice is lovely, it applies evenly and smooth without any bubbling or streaking and dries super quickly too which is such a bonus as I hate waiting for nail polish to dry. Their are two things that really surprised me in a good way about this nail polish, the first being just how long it lasts on my nails with just two thin coats, it was honestly on my nails a good 4-5 days before I noticed some slight wear at the very end of my nails and I had no major chipping what so ever! The second was just how easy it was to remove, shimmery -metallic or glitter polishes are such a pain to remove usually but I honestly had no trouble what so ever with this.
Overall I really cant recommend the Barry M Molten Metal nail polishes enough, the quality is so good and the shade Pink Ice is just so pretty on the nails, I also love teaming it up with pastel pink nail polishes at the moment and using it as my accent nail polish colour, it looks lush!

Have you tried any of the new Barry M Molten Metal Nail Paint shades beaut's? Which is your favourite? I'd love to know!

You can find Pink Ice along with the rest of the Molten Metal Nail Paint Collection for £3.99 HERE.

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while now you probably already know that I bloody love KISS and imPress false nails, they have soooo many designs, lengths, shapes and pretty colours too choose from not to mention the application and removal process is so quick an easy, so I couldn't wait to give a few more sets a whirl.

The first set of nails from KISS and imPRESS that I couldn't wait to put on my nails where the Symphony* set, these are so pretty and perfect for Spring. The set is made up of 24 nails in a mix of pastel pink and silver glitter striped nails, theres lots of different sized nails to pick from so you can mix and match to get the best fit and once stuck on these babies are waterproof so you can get the longest wear out of them. The other imPress set I got are the Bright as a Feather* set, again this set has 24 different sized nails to play with in a gorgeous dark blue glitter design, I have to say glitter press on nails are the way forward, I love having glittery nails but I'm always put off because it's so hard to remove glitter polish but these beauties save the day in that department. Both sets of these imPress nails where a great length and shape for me too, I naturally have short, square nails so something that's a little bit longer than my own nails in the same sort of shape works best for me.

My Spring Nail Polish Picks By Barry M

Hey beaut's!

Spring is finally just around the corner so it's time to switch things up in our wardrobes, makeup bags and our nail polish stash, say goodbye to all the dark dreary colours and hellloooo to all the pretty pastels and brighter shades. Today I thought I'd share with you all my favourite Barry M nail polishes that I like to wear during this pretty season, I'm pretty much obsessed with Barry M's nail polishes, their so affordable, great in quality and last well on my nails.
My first go to shade for Spring is Barry M's Nail Paint in Mint Green, this is a gorgeous pastel mint green shade that makes my nails look fun, vibrant and against a tan it looks insane. My next pick is my Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Dragon Fruit, this is a candy pink shade with hidden micro shimmers within it, it's so springy and girlie which I love and the Gelly Hi Shine formula is incredible, the super glossy finish is so reminiscent of gel nails and they last really well on my nails too. Another Gelly Hi Shine I love is Prickly Pear, this one is a pastel lavender/lilac shade, oh my goodness I love this one soooo much. My next favourite is Barry M's Coconut Infusion in Flamingo, this one is my go to shade if I want something more vibrant as it's a bright coral, it's a great one if you want your nails to really stand out. The coconut infusion formula is also one of my favourites from Barry M so I hope they bring more shades out for this Spring/Summer. Then theres the Limited Edition Superdrug Nail Paint in Festival Fever, this ones quite similar to Dragon Fruit but it's a smidge darker and has pretty gold shimmers running through it, I've been wearing this one constantly at the moment, I beleive it is still available on the Superdrug website too depite being limited edition. Lastly is Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry in In A Heart Beat, this is such a pretty colour, sometimes it looks pink then salmon then peach and because it's in the Speedy Quick Dry range it's a great one for girls who are on the go because it drys in a flash.

What's your favourite nail polish shade for the Spring beaut's?? I'd love to know!!

Easy 'At Home' Press On Nails by KISS

Hey beaut's!

I've always loved the look of false nails, they make your look complete and super polished but getting them done at the salon not only costs a fortune but damages your naturals nails so much, but the brands KISS and imPRESS have put a stop to all that with their easy application and removal press on nails with soooo many designs, lengths and pretty colours too choose.
The first set of nails from KISS and imPRESS that I couldn't wait to put on my nails where from the Short Accent Collection in Bells and Whistles*, this particular collection is great for me because I have naturally short, square nails so something that's a little bit longer than my own nails in the same sort of shape works best for me. The Bells and Whistles design is made up of 24 nails in a mix of dark matte navy blue and a gorgeous gold glitter, theres lots of different sized nails to pick from so you can mix and match to get the best fit and once stuck on these babies are waterproof so you can get the longest wear out of them. So far I've had my imPRESS manicure on all weekend and not lost a single nail, I've done housework, washing up, been in the shower and their still going strong so I really rate these.
The second set I have are the KISS Gel Fantasy Nails in Freshen Up* (7.99), these are absolutely stunning and definitely look like salon nails. Within this set you get 24 coral coloured nails with a stunning silver glitter gradient on them, what I love about this set so much is that not only are they super glossy and look just like gel nails but again they are squared off at the tips and the medium length isn't too long for me either. With this particular set you get two options for the application process, theres nail glue so you can glue the nails on if you wish, or theres 24 mega adhesive tabs so you can apply them just like the imPRESS ones - which is my favourite way and definitely better for the nails because you can just peel them off safely once your done with them.
Overall I've been loving these nails by KISS especially the navy/gold glitter imPRESS ones,
their such good quality nails and theres so many designs to choose from, and I found the application and removal process so quick an easy, even quicker than when I paint my nails as you don't have the annoying dry time. I also think it's great that they cater for people with more petite nails and the lengths and finishes are never ending.

Are you a lover of press on nails beaut's? Which design is your favourite? I'd love to know!
