Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Fragrance Trio Review + GIVEAWAY

If you've followed my blog for a while it will be no surprise to you that I LOVE Lacoste's fragrances and I even reviewed their L.12.12 Pour Elle Sparkling Fragrance not that long ago HERE, but today I have a very exciting post for you all, not only will I being reviewing the Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Trio* but I'll be giving a whole set away too, how amazing is that!

 Lacoste's three new scents are inspired by the freedom of movement and elegance of the classic tennis skirt, and reflect the three moods of a Lacoste woman – natural, elegant and sparklingly playful.

The first perfume within the set is Lacoste's Pour Elle Natural, this comes in a gorgeous mint green bottle and as the name would suggest is a very natural, clean scent that's uplifting and warm at the same time. Then we have my absolute favourite Lacoste Pour Elle Sparkling, it's so sweet, girlie and playful and I think the pretty pink packaging really reflects that too. Macaron and Cotton Candy are at the heart of this fragrance so as you can imagine when wearing this you smell good enough to eat, however even though this is such a super sweet scent I never find it sickly and the fruity top notes and musky base notes really do help to balance this fragrance out! And lastly but in no means least is Lacoste's Pour Elle Elegant, this one is described as uplifting, authentic, and warm. I think this is quite an all rouder scent meaning I think most people could wear and enjoy it, it's quite clean and fresh whilst also being lightweight and not overpowering at all, a great day time scent for sure! Jord Sully Wood Watch in Green Sandalwood | Christmas Gift Guide + E-Gift Card GIVEAWAY!

Today I have a really exciting review/Christmas gift guide for you all featuring a very unique and beautiful looking watch made by a company called Jord. Jord are a US brand that don't just make any old watches but instead they make ladies and men's wood watches, yup that's right, all of their watches are made from natural and sustainably sourced wood from around the world, pretty amazing right. I'd honestly never seen a wooden watch before until I got the gorgeous Cora Series in Koa & Rose Gold a few months ago and quickly fell in love. Theres so many designs, woods and colours to choose from on the Jord website and this time around I opted for the Jord Sully Series in Green Sandlewood* ($139/£89) for my boyfriend, a unisex watch that I think would make an amazing Christmas present for any loved one, it's just so lovely. 

When the Sully watch arrived it was beautifully packaged in an amazing, well made, pale wooden box with a sliding lid, the watch was then nestled inside the box over a little tweed jewellery pillow which just looked adorable and adds an extra special touch when your giving the watch as a gift. The Jord Sully watch is available in 4 different colour designs, as I said before I opted for the Green Sandalwood design which is made from natural green sandalwood that has been hand finished and pretreated with tung oils, I think its a super versatile design and would suit men or woman. The watch itself is battery operated, has scratch resistant mineral glass on the watch face,  fastens at the back with a stainless steel deployment buckle with push buttons which are easy to open and close and as a whole the watch is relatively lightweight too.

With Jord being based in the US it's good to know they ship internationally, and they aim to ship orders within 1-3 days via tracked USPS shipping, I actually kept tracking my watch which I found really quite fun. One of the many things that really blew me away about Jord is when ordering your watch you have the ability to have the watch re-sized for a $10/£6 fee, I think that is so good, I have quite small wrists and every watch I've ever owned has always been too big for me, so the fact you can have this done before your watch even arrives is pretty impressive. The extra links that were taken out are still included in the wooden box too.

Partylite Christmas Candle Review + GIVEAWAY ♥

I have another candle post for you all today, yes I know, I know, I'm such a candle addict especially at this time of year when the weather gets colder and you just want that cosy, warm atmosphere in your house. This time around I've had the chance to review a selection of the Partylite Christmas Collection and to give away everything I mention in this post to one of my lucky followers, eeekkk how exciting!

The Partylite Christmas Collection features lots of traditional fragrances that capture the spirit of Christmas and lots of cute festive decorative pieces that just enhance that Christmassy vibe. Firstly from the Christmas bundle is the Reminiscent Scented Mini Jar Candle Trio* (£24.95) which contains three very festive scents including Iced Snowberries (white) which as the name would suggest smells strongly of winter berries with a hint of sweetness, Crimson Berry (red) which combines fruity berries, sweet caramel and spicy notes which is so yummy and totally my favourite and lastly the trio ends with Emerald Balsam (green) which totally makes your house smell like you have a fresh Christmas tree inside, it's also a very fresh and clean scent too which I really enjoy. Each candle comes in a gorgeous decorative glass jar that has different sized frosty snowflakes adorned all over and looks so festive. The candles have a burn time of 20-30 hours each and they really do throw out a good amount of scent, literally minutes after lighting these candles the scent starts wafting through my entire house and you can really smell it without it being too strong or overpowering. Then theres the gorgeous Enchanted Woodland Votive Hurricane* (£27.95) this comes with a silver metal base, a glass votive holder and a metal cylindrical hurricane which sits on the base and has the enchanted woodland theme etched onto it, once you light a votive inside this looks so pretty and warming, I love it! 

Next up is the Snowflakes Glass Tea light Trio* (£19.95) which are new to Partylite this year, these are so fun to decorate with over Christmas as they come in the festive red, gold and silver colours which can match your decorations and can hold either your votives or tea lights perfectly. And lastly but in no means least is the Iced Snowberries Votives* (set of 6) this is one of the scents from the Reminiscent Scented Mini Jar Candle Trio and smell just like winter berries. Each votive has a burn time of between 8-11 hours which is amazing for votives and the scent throw is medium on these, not too over powering but definitely noticeably divine.

Partylite Halloween Candle Review + Giveaway ♥

I have another candle post for you all today, yes I know, I know, I'm such a candle addict especially at this time of year when the weather gets colder and you just want that cosy, warm atmosphere in your house. This time around I've had the chance to review a selection of the Partylite Halloween Collection and give away everything I mention in this post to one of my lucky followers, eeekkk how exciting!

The Partylite Halloween Collection has been inspired by Mexico's Day of the Dead and features lots of bright colours, spooky decorative pieces and haunting named scent's. Firstly from the Halloween bundle is the Glolite Large Jar* (£21.50) in the scent Hocus Pocus. This is one huge, double wicked candle that not only looks amazing with it's neon wax and purple skulls print but it smells incredible too. The scent of Hocus Pocus is slightly citrus with a coconut and praline twist, it's honestly gorgeous so the fact that it has a burn time of a whopping 50-60 hours pleases me a lot. Then their is the Glolite Colour Changing Candle Base* (£9.95), this goes hand in hand with the large Hocus Pocus Jar and is so much fun, it does require 3AAA batteries but is so worth it, it's actually quite memorising to watch all of the pretty colour change and makes your candles glow and light up. And if your a fan of the Hocus Pocus scent like I am then Partylite also do a pack of 12 Tea Lights* (£6.95) in the eye catching neon yellow and purple colours that match the large jar perfectly. Each tea light has an impressive 4-6 hours burn time and really kicks off that gorgeous Hocus Pocus scent.

Next up is the Autumn Glow Votives* (£12.00 for a set of 6) which are hands down my absolute favourites, the scent is so autumnal, just think warm spiced apples, pine and cinnamon and that's exactly what you get from these little beauties. Each votive has a burn time of between 8-11 hours which is amazing for votives and the scent throw is medium on these, not too over powering but definitely noticeablely divine. Lastly but in no means least is the pair of Skeleton Votive/Tea Light Glass Jars Holders* (£19.95), these are so fun to decorate with over Halloween and can hold either your votives or tea lights perfectly.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick Review + GIVEAWAY! ♥

I have an extremely exciting post for you all today, firstly I'm reviewing the Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick* in the shade Innocent (£20.00) and secondly I have 2 more of the Estée Lauder Lipsticks to give away to you beauties thanks to the amazing Cosme-De website. If you haven't heard of Cosme-De before it's basically a beauty lovers dream ha ha, it is an online shopping site that sells all things beauty, skincare, fragrance, haircare plus much more, they  stock brands such as Benefit, Bioderma, Clinque, Bobbi Brown, YSL, NARS and that's just to name a few so theres certainly plenty of choice on the website. Cosme-De are based in Hong Kong but ship worldwide for FREE on every order (whoop), they're website is very clear and easy to use and all you have to do to get your preferred currency is scroll at the bottom of the website and click the little drop down box to choose, simple!

Anywhooo onto the lipstick review... The Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick claims to keep my lips moisturised without compromising the colour payoff, this was very interesting for me as I love moisturising lipsticks but always find they lack in the pigmentation department and go on very sheer, so I couldn't wait to put this lipstick to the test and let me tell you beaut's, the results are just WOW!

As I said before the shade I have is Innocent which is a gorgeous coral/nude shade, perfect for everyday wear during the Summer or even on a night out when your eye makeup is more dramatic. The formula of the Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick is just amazing, it's so soft, smooth, creamy and feels luxuriously comfortable and lightweight on the lips. The pigmentation is amazing for such a moisturising lipstick and lasts a good 4-5 hours on my lips without any feathering and leaves no sticky feeling on the lips either.

The design of the lipstick overall is great, the lipstick bullet itself has a slim shape which sculpts the curves of your lips for easy, effortless application and the slim, navy packaging looks so chic and luxurious and comes complete with an innovative, magnetic closure that clicks the cap securely shut, this I must add is so addictive as I just love the sound and feeling of that click ha ha.

Overall I absolutely love this Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick, it's certainly got me lusting for more as it ticks all the boxes for me, moisturising, pigmented, creamy texture, gorgeous colour, great lasting power, pretty packaging with an addictive magnetic cap, what more could a girl ask for from a lipstick he he.

Barry M Make Me Blush Cream Blusher Review ♥

Has anyone else noticed how Barry M have stepped up their makeup game recently?? Being totally honest I've never really given Barry M's makeup a second look until a few months ago when I bought and fell in love with their little contour palette, I'd always buy their nail polishes religiously but I'd always skip past their makeup but this year they have launched some very pretty things that I just had to buy. The first thing I decided to pick up was their Make Me Blush Cream Blusher in Rhubarb Crumble and I absolutely love it! 

Barry M's Make Me Blush Cream Blusher (£4.49) comes in the cutest pink and white plastic packaging that's covered in little love hearts, it's just so girlie and sweet and lures me in every time, it also has a twist up mechanism at the bottom to push up the product meaning theres no need for a sharpener woohoo. As I said before I opted for the shade Rhubarb Crumble which is a pretty, light pink shade which is ideal for creating that everyday rosy glow, their are two other shades in the collection, a peach shade and a dark pink but Rhubarb Crumble was by far my favourite out of the three. The formula of Barry M's Make Me Blush Cream Blusher is gorgeous, it's infused with a fruity vitamin E punch, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter which makes the blush a dream to work with, it literally glides on giving a beautifully even coverage and blends out an absolute dream with either the warmth of your fingers or with a brush .

The pigmentation of Rhubarb Crumble is very strong but it blends out subtly, you could easily keep applying layers until you get the intensity your looking for but personally I love that subtle look. The finish of Barry M's Make Me Blush Cream Blusher is semi matte but looks extremely dewy on the cheek, it's odd because when I swatch it on the back of my hand it's obvious it has a cream to powder finish but on the cheeks it doesn't look matte at all, just dewy, healthy and glowing.

Overall I absolutely love this little cream blush stick, it's just so quick and easy to use, adds a subtle pop of colour to the cheeks and lasts a good 6 plus hours on me which I think is amazing, it can even be doubled up as a lip balm to add a nice sheer pop of colour.

 The Nanshy 'Gobsmack Glamorous' Face Makeup Brush Set (£34.95)  is the stuff of base makeup dreams, it contains five full size brushes each having super soft, lush, anti-bacterial, cruelty-free bristles that are held by robust metal ferrules on top of ergonomic Onyx Black handles (pearlescent white handles also available) and can be used with mineral, liquid and cream makeup. 

Blush & Bronze Brush

The Blush & Bronze Brush is my new favourite brush for when I'm getting my bronzed goddess on ha ha, it just applies bronzer in such a flawless, even way, I love it! It has lovely dence, angled bristles that help you achieve a lovely contoured look as well as blush up those cheeks, personally for me I find it abit large to apply blush but I know for some it would work brilliantly. The Blush & Bronze Brush is actually a set exclusive and is not available in the Gobsmack Gorgeous Set which is good to know. 

Angled Airbrush Brush

The Angled Airbrush Brush can be used in numerous ways, firstly it's a great liquid foundation brush and makes easy work of getting into any nooks and crannies, you can either use it in buffing motions for and even application or use the angled edge to layer up over areas that might need more coverage. Secondly it work well with setting powders, again the angled edge really helps push the product in and really seal that makeup into place without it looking heavy or to overdone. 

Flawless Foundation Brush

The Flawless Foundation Brush is an amazing brush, I already own it singly with the pearlescent white handle and use it religiously with lighter coverage foundations and BB/CC creams, it works best with those sort of products because it leaves such even yet lightweight coverage to the skin. It's great for those minimal daytime makeup looks 

Buffed Base Brush

The Buffed Base Brush is easily my favourite brush out of the collection, if you love a good buffing brush to buff in your foundation then trust me, this is a brush you need in your life. The Buffed Base Brush just seems to buff in my foundation in seconds leaving not a single streak or cakiness in sight, just flawless, even, dewy looking skin. Arhhh I love this brush so much. 

Conceal Perfector Brush

The Conceal Perfect Brush is a pointed brush with a soft rounded tip which is best used in specific targeted areas to apply and blend any concealer, foundation, and even tinted moisturiser such as under the eyes and around the nose. It's shape also makes it a great brush to use with setting powder to set the under eye area, it just moulds itself perfect to the shape of the eye and sets the area completely without a heavy, cakey look or feel.
