I think its fair to say that Micellar Waters have taken the skincare world by storm and lots of us beauty bloggers have been loving them too. I've tried and tested Superdrugs B.Pure Micellar Water and L'Oreal's Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution so it was only fair that I gave Garniers offering a whirl as well. I actually bought my bottle of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water from Savers for £2.99 after a friend recommend that I bought it from there, I couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was considering its a whopping 400ml bottle and my local Boots and Superdrug sell it for £4,99, gotta love a beauty bargain!!!
Garnier claim their hypoallergenic micellar cleansing water cleanses, soothes and acts like a magnet with it's cleansing agents capturing and lifting away the days impurities and makeup, with no need to rub at your delicate skin whilst removing, the 400ml bottle also promises to give us up to 200 uses, sounds pretty amazing right?
I just have to say I blooming love this little beauty... Firstly out of all the micellar waters I've tried I favour Garniers packaging the most, the large rounded bottle is easy to hold and the cute pink lid is great for dispensing just enough product onto your cotton pad so I don't find myself wasting product like I did when using L'Oreal's offering. The Micellar Cleansing Water itself is super gentle on my sensitive skin and doesn't irritate my eye area at all, removing every trace of eye makeup without me having to rub or be harsh towards my eye area, I've even been testing out a waterproof mascara recently and you know how hard they can be to remove sometimes but this little lovely by Garnier makes light work of it. It's also great at taking lip products off without drying out your lips which is a bonus for when you've worn a vampy lip and it has slightly stained. The cleansing water doesn't have much of a fragrance to it which is fine by me as some perfumed products hate my skin, I've not experienced any breaks out whilst using the cleansing water either, if anything I feel like my skin has improved as it constantly feels refreshed, soothed and lovely and soft.
I've been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for exactly 2 weeks now, morning and night, and as you can see from the picture above Ive hardly used up much product at all, I can see I'm really going to get my moneys worth out of this and will certainly be repurchasing it. I have wanted to try Bioderma for a while now but after trying this and loving it so much I don't think I'm going to bother now he he. As far as comparing this to L'Oreal's Micellar Water... I honestly don't see a huge difference in how they both work but I'd say Garniers is better value for money as you get so much product that stretches a long way, I also much prefer how Garniers Micellar Water dispenses as L'Oreal's did tend to just shoot out uncontrollably causing alot of wastage. Overall Garnier come out on top for me, I just love the stuff!!
Have you tried Garniers Micellar Cleansing Water beaut's?? What did you think?? Id love to know.

Aww that good to hear hun :) I think the Garnier is alot better value than the L'oreal one but I cant see much of difference between the 2 xoxo
DeleteI've been using this for a good 3 weeks now and I'm loving it. It doesn't quite match up to Bioderma but for the price I think its incredible. I got a super cheap introductory offer in Superdrug too. I'm really into vampy lips at the moment.

Oh really? Have you tried placing the cotton wool pad over your eye for a few seconds and then sweeping away, that's what I do and it works a treat, it just allows the micellar water to dissolve the makeup more if you hold it over xoxo
DeleteGreat review I'll have to try this out as I've wanted to for a while & I'll pick it up from savers xx
ReplyDeleteThank you sweetie xoxo
DeleteI tried this out recently, but think I still preferred L'Oreal. My skin didn't feel quite as soft or refreshed with Garnier for some reason. The lid is definitely better though! xx
