The Biscuiteers Vintage Love Letter Valentines Tin

Valentines Day is fast approaching and if your partner is a bit of a foodie/ biccy lover like me then I have just the gift from Biscuiteers that will not only put a smile on their face but will have their tummy grumbling too.

The Biscuiteers Vintage Love Letter Collection* comes in a beautiful metal tin - decorated with a cute, vintage love letter theme, it reminds me so much of a tin I had when I was little that I kept all my memories in such as cards, photo's, letters, shells from the beach, concert tickets etc, if it was a memory it went into my tin and you could definitely re-use this tin to do the same, it's such a sweet idea!

Within the Vintage Love Letter Tin are 9 yummy vanilla biscuits which all carry on the vintage love letter theme, their are cute little love hearts, love letters in different sizes, a post box and even a Dove carrying a love letter which is my personal favourite biscuit. All of the nine biscuits within the tin have been handmade with the finest ingredients and hand iced which personally I love, the time and effort which has gone into each biscuit is amazing and being the keen baker that I am I know how hard icing like that can be. Because every biscuit is hand iced you can get your biscuits personalised which means you can make your tin that extra bit special for your loved one!

The biscuits come in three layers within the tin and are wrapped beautifully with tissue paper and stuck down with a small blob of icing to keep each biccy in tact, everything is so well thought of. Overall I think this is such a cute yet different idea for Valentines Day and lets face it - who doesn't like some yummy biscuits with their tea, I know I certainly do!

Soap & Glory Hello Super Spa Review - Christmas Gift Idea

Yankee Candle Christmas Gift Set Review

As soon as Boots put their 3 for 2 Christmas shop live online and in store they do a *Star Gift* each week, this is always something big and slightly more pricey that they usually drop down to half price for a limited time and I managed to bag an absolute bargain when they put their big Yankee Candle Christmas Gift from £45 to £23! Of course being the candle addict that I am I snapped this gift set up for myself pretty quickly, but I thought I'd share with you all whats inside because it's such a great Christmas gift idea, you could even buy it to split the gifts up as a couple of stocking fillers and what not!

Within the Yankee Candle Christmas Gift Set which is exclusive to Boots theres 1 Christmas Eve Medium Jar Candle, 1 Winter Glow Small Jar Candle, 2 Cosy by the Fire Votive Candles, 2 Bundle Up Votive Candles, 1 pack of Christmas Eve Yankee Candle Tea Lights and 1 pack of Christmas Cookie Yankee Candle Tea Lights, all together these would cost a whopping £49.16 if bought separately so getting the set for £23.00 was such a steal.

The scents within this set are all what you would expect, super festive....Firstly theres Christmas Eve which not only looks very Christmasy from the jar but smells subtly of all things Christmas too, think vanilla, berries, cinnamon and nutmeg it's so lovely and not overpowering in the slightest. Winters Glow has more of an outdoors vibe, it's smells fresh and like spruce trees, it's definitely a proper festive smell. Then we have Cosy By The Fire, this one contains a warm mix of ginger, clove, and orange combined with woody notes to give the snap of a crackling fire and the comfort of a hot aromatic drink beside it, I find this one more autumnal than Christmasy but it's still nice. Bundle Up also has that outdoors vibe for me too of festive trees and freshness but theres also clean linen notes within it too which I guess is pretty apt when your 'bundled up' in layers of clothes when it's cold he he. Finally we have Christmas Cookie, this is a hugely popular scent for Yankee Candle at Christmas and rightly so because it smells gorgeous, it has a buttery rich, vanilla and sugar cookie scent which is so divine I good eat it he he, definitely the perfect candle for that person who likes sweet, sugary, food like scents.

Overall I'm so happy I picked this bundle up from Boots, it was such a bargain and even though I think it's gone back in price now I think it such a nice Christmas present for any candle or Yankee Candle addict!

I think that The Body Shop do the most amazing gifts, they smell great, look great and most importantly the quality of the products is brilliant, and the Ginger Manicure & Moisture Duo certainly doesn't disappoint. The set includes a Ginger Hand Cream 30ml and a Nail File that has the cute ginger bread men design on it. I really don't think you can go wrong with this duo, I mean everyone needs hand cream at this time of year don't they?? 

Burgundy Mohair Mix Cable Knit Bobble Hat £5.99
I absolutely love these cute little bobble hats from New Look this year, so much so that I have actually bought myself 2 of them in different colours already ha ha. They are so soft and snugly and not itchy whilst on your head at all, and best of all they keep you nice and warm!!!

Real Techniques Setting Brush £6.99
Make-up brushes are sure to be a winner for any beauty/make-up lover, the reason I opted for the Setting Brush by Real Techniques is because I think its definitely a brush you would end up needed in your make-up brush collection but not a brush you would necessarily buy immediately yourself. The Real Techniques brushes are also amazing in quality and for £6.99 from thehut.com I think its perfect to pop in as a stocking filler.

Small Yankee Candle Jar in Red Apple Wreath £8.39
Now who wouldn't like a Yankee Candle in their stocking... I know I would!!! Red Apple Wreath is a mixture of sweet apples, cinnamon, walnuts and maple and as you can imagine it smells incredible!!! I think a candle makes a good all rounder present too, that most people would enjoy.

Cadburys Dairy Milk Winter Wonderland Chocolate Bar RRP £1.00
I couldn't do a stocking filler post without adding some chocolate, a stocking wouldn't be a stocking without some sort of sweet treat inside!!! The Cadburys Winter Wonderland Bar is the best of both worlds as its a mixture of milk chocolate and white chocolate in a cute Christmas Tree shape, yum!!!

Cath Kidson Christmas Mug RRP £6.50
How lovely is this Cath Kidson mug!!! I love Cath Kidson in general and I'm always lured in by the vintage floral designs but the Christmas mug lured me in even more. I think as the mug is Christmas themed your more likely to remember it through the years and you may cherish it that little bit more he he. I'm sure a brew tastes lovely from it too he he.

Liz Earle have bought out some lovely gifts this Christmas and I think their Christmas Star is just lovely. You receive a gorgeous, long-lasting Strengthening Nail Colour in Moment in Time which is sure to surprise and delight, don't worry they're are other shades to choose from.
