My Favourite Christmas Candles

Hey beaut's!

Its no surprise that I like a candle or 50 at this time of the year, theres something so cosy about having candles lit when it's dark and cold outside and it's something I actually look forward to when Autumn and Winter comes around. It's not all about the cosy vibes for me though, it's also about those yummy festive scents that we cant get throughout the year, so today I thought I'd share with you all my top 5!

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie - Christmas Cookie is actually up there with my all time favourite candle scents, it has a buttery rich, vanilla and sugar cookie scent which is so divine I could eat it, it's definitely the perfect candle for that person who likes sweet, sugary, food like scents.

Crabtree & Evelyn Noel - This one is seriously festive, it contains notes of fir tree branches studded with tangy citrus zest and mulled spices, it's literally all the traditional Christmas scents wrapped into one candle, the scent throw is seriously good too!

Home Bargains Gingerbread - I discovered this Gingerbread candle in Home Bargains last year and become obsessed so I was so happy to see they brought it bacj this year. Gingerbread is literally one of my favourite scents at this time of the year and this one smells exactly like you've got a batch of gingerbread men baking in the oven, my goodness its smells incredible! These are so affordable too at just £2.99 each for the large glass jars and I may have bought 8 of these so far this, I know I'm terrible!

Yankee Candle Christmas Eve - We buy a Christmas Eve candle to burn every year in our house on Christmas Eve, its become a tradition really and it just wouldn't be Christmas Eve without it now. I love how it subtly smells of all things Christmas, think vanilla, berries, cinnamon and nutmeg it's so lovely and isn't overpowering at all.

Yankee Candle Berry Trifle - Arhhh finally is Berry Trifle, another candle that smells good enough to eat. This one is a fruity yet sweet scent and raspberries and cranberries definitely comes through, theres a light vanilla fragrance too which comes from the vanilla cream but the berry scent is definitely what comes out on top and is the most recognisable, I bloody love anything berry scented!

Whats your favourite Christmas candle beaut's? I'd love to know!

Blogmas Day 24 - Yankee Candle 'Christmas Eve' Review

Hey beaut's!

It's blogmas day twenty four which can only mean one thing, it's finally CHRISTMAS EVEEEEEEEE! I'm soooo exiting that it's finally Christmas Day tomorrow but first I have ANOTHER Christmassy candle review for you all, I know, I know I'm a total candle addict at this time of the year, I just love how cosy and warm it makes the house feel and the festive scents are the best. Today's review is pretty fitting really because it's all about Yankee Candles Christmas Eve scent, we buy this one every year in our house, its become a tradition really.

Christmas Eve is described as 'traditional holiday scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums, and candied fruits' and I have to say it does smell subtly of all things Christmas, think vanilla, berries, cinnamon and nutmeg it's so lovely. The scent throw of Christmas Eve I would say is quite light and subtle and not overpowering in the slightest, great for someone who likes candles but doesn't like a strong scent throw. This one does fill the entire house but in a light way giving bursts of all things festive as it burns, also can we just appreciate how Christmassy the wax and jar looks, I love it! All of the Yankee Candle medium jarred candles claim to provide 65 to 90 hours of true fragrance enjoyment and Christmas Eve certainly does just that!

Finally I just want to wish all of 'you'my gorgeous followers and blog readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Thank you so much for all the blog support over 2016, I cant explain how happy it makes me.

Have a sparkling Christmas beaut's, enjoy every second of it!!!

Yankee Candle Christmas Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

As soon as Boots put their 3 for 2 Christmas shop live online and in store they do a *Star Gift* each week, this is always something big and slightly more pricey that they usually drop down to half price for a limited time and I managed to bag an absolute bargain when they put their big Yankee Candle Christmas Gift from £45 to £23! Of course being the candle addict that I am I snapped this gift set up for myself pretty quickly, but I thought I'd share with you all whats inside because it's such a great Christmas gift idea, you could even buy it to split the gifts up as a couple of stocking fillers and what not!
Within the Yankee Candle Christmas Gift Set which is exclusive to Boots theres 1 Christmas Eve Medium Jar Candle, 1 Winter Glow Small Jar Candle, 2 Cosy by the Fire Votive Candles, 2 Bundle Up Votive Candles, 1 pack of Christmas Eve Yankee Candle Tea Lights and 1 pack of Christmas Cookie Yankee Candle Tea Lights, all together these would cost a whopping £49.16 if bought separately so getting the set for £23.00 was such a steal.
The scents within this set are all what you would expect, super festive....Firstly theres Christmas Eve which not only looks very Christmasy from the jar but smells subtly of all things Christmas too, think vanilla, berries, cinnamon and nutmeg it's so lovely and not overpowering in the slightest. Winters Glow has more of an outdoors vibe, it's smells fresh and like spruce trees, it's definitely a proper festive smell. Then we have Cosy By The Fire, this one contains a warm mix of ginger, clove, and orange combined with woody notes to give the snap of a crackling fire and the comfort of a hot aromatic drink beside it, I find this one more autumnal than Christmasy but it's still nice. Bundle Up also has that outdoors vibe for me too of festive trees and freshness but theres also clean linen notes within it too which I guess is pretty apt when your 'bundled up' in layers of clothes when it's cold he he. Finally we have Christmas Cookie, this is a hugely popular scent for Yankee Candle at Christmas and rightly so because it smells gorgeous, it has a buttery rich, vanilla and sugar cookie scent which is so divine I good eat it he he, definitely the perfect candle for that person who likes sweet, sugary, food like scents.

Overall I'm so happy I picked this bundle up from Boots, it was such a bargain and even though I think it's gone back in price now I think it such a nice Christmas present for any candle or Yankee Candle addict!

Did you manage to pick this bargain up beaut's? I'd love to know!

Lush 'Sale' Haul

Hey girlie's!!!

I'm back with a Lush 'sale' haul for you all today, I hope I'm not the only one who sprung out of bed at 9am on Boxing Day to check out all the online sales ha ha, I cant resist a good bargain!!! I absolutely love Lush but only tend buy it on a special occasion, its not something that I buy all year round but the fact they have a 50% sale at Christmas means that its a super special occasion for me and I treat myself to a few bits...

So here's the irresistibly cute, sweet smelling treats I picked up...

Magic Wand Bubble Bar £2.47
The Magic Wand is one of my all time favourites... It smells incredible, it's just like the Snow Fairy Shower Gel but in Bubble Bar form, I think it super cute too, just swish it around the bath until you have your desired amount of bubbles then store it somewhere safe and dry until your next bath.

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar £1.32
Another absolute favourite of mine and another Snow Fairy inspired bubble bar, I actually bought 3 of these as I love them so much, its sweet shop scent is so addictive plus your bath water goes baby pink, cute!!!

The Comforter Bubble Bar £2.25
I love The Comforter, I usually get about 3 uses out of  it as its so big, it has a very distinctive sweet blackcurrant scent to it which is just incredible and your bath water goes bright pink and super bubbly too.

Christmas Eve Bubble Bar £1.47
I remember buying one of these a few Christmases ago and it made my bath water go a gorgeous sea green colour (sounds horrible, but it isn't) and was full of bubbles so I cant wait to use it again.

The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar £1.47
How cute is this little chap, awwww!!! He's so cute I don't want to use him ha ha. He has a strong citrus/musky scent and I can imagine the bath water is going to turn a gorgeous sky blue colour with lots of bubbles.

The Melting Snowman £1.12
As cute as this little melting snowman is, he smells horrible to me and if I was in the actual store instead of online shopping I wouldn't of picked him up. The scent it very deep, musky and manly so my boyfriends actually going to use him as he loves the scent.

Cinders Bath Bomb £1.22
I'm not a huge fan of bath bombs, you might have been able to tell as my haul is full of bubble bars but I just cant resist Cinders. Its got an amazing Cinnamon/Spicy/Zesty scent to it, its such a festive fragrance, it also contains popping candy that sounds like the crackling of a fire when it goes in the bath which is pretty cool although I have had a few duds in my time, I thinks its just the luck of the draw really, you need to pick a good one ha ha. The only downside to Cinders is your bath water can turn a horrid pale yellow (pee pee) colour ha ha but if you just ignore that, its lovely!!!

So that's all the Lush goodies I picked up in the sale, all with 50% off, what bargains!!! I do love a good ole Lush bargain!!!

Did you hit the Lush Christmas Sale this year beaut's??? What treats did you pick up???
