Blueberry Cheesecake Candle By Kiss Air Candles!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while now you'll know I am absolutely obsessed with candles and home fragrances, particularly the ones from Kiss Air Candles which I've fallen in love with since I was introduced to them last year! Now that all of my festive scents have finally been burnt through it was time to freshen things up with this AMAZING Blueberry Cheesecake scent, and yes it does smell as good as it sounds!

If your new to Kiss Air Candles, they literally sell everything that will make your house smell incredible, theres wax melts, wax burners, tea lights, candles and reed defusers with so many scents to choose from. What I love about Kiss Air Candles is that all of their candles are made in small batches using natural soyabean (vegetable) wax, cotton wicks and the finest fragrances that are all vegan friendly as well as paraben and phthalate free. These raw materials work together to give the candles a cleaner burn (no soot here!), fabulous scent throw and an impressive burn time.
Sweet, foodie scents are always my favourites so I just knew Blueberry Cheesecake was
going to be a winner for me, the fragrance itself is made up of refreshing blueberry tones giving a light, fruity aroma that sits on a sweet creamy vanilla biscuit. It smells just like the real thing, you'll definitely be craving dessert whilst you burn this one thats for sure! Despite being quite sweet I never find it heavy or sickly which is good, it has that perfect balance between the fruity notes and sugary sweet notes, it just works! As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, it's also one of those candles that when you walk past it when its not even lit you get the most amazing whiff! The candle has an approximate burn time of 30 to 35 hours which is pretty good for a smaller sized candle, and I love the fact it comes in a glass jar as you can re-use it after your candle is burnt out!
If your looking for some new candles to burn this Spring then I cant recommend Kiss Air Candles enough, they have so many scents to choose from and Blueberry Cheesecake definitely gets my seal of approval, I'll be buying this one again thats for sure!

You can buy the Blueberry Cheesecake Candle HERE for £14.00.

A Wax Melt Advent Calendar?? Whiffy Wax 12 Days Of Christmas

Hey beaut's!

Advent calendars are huge now, gone are the days when we'd count down to Christmas with a teeny tiny chocolate that disappears in a single bite. Now more or less every beauty brand has a calender out, theres alcoholic calenders, stationary calenders and my favourite...the candle/wax melt calendar!
Now as you all know I'm a crazy candle ladie and I love my wax melts,  my house just has to be filled with festive scents at this time of the year so the Whiffy Wax 12 Days Of Christmas Advent Calendar is just a match made in heaven with me! Within the calendar you receive 12 1oz mystery scented wax melts - they are numbered 1-12 so you can have a quick search within your calender each day to find the corresponding wax melt for that day! As this is a 12 day calendar you have a couple of options on when you can open it, you could open it every other day from the 1st of December, that would then take up to Christmas Eve! You could wait until your 12 days away from the big day and then start it or you could be like me and just start opening it from the 1st of December until the 12th - I'm just too excited and impatient he he!
You do receive a scent list within your calendar that reveals each days fragrance if your struggling to guess and spoiler alert....I've listed all the scents below so if your going to buy this calender for yourself you might want to skip down he he.
The scents within the calendar are..
Mulled Wine & Berries.
Christmas Cake.
Vanilla Creme Brulee.
Berry Christmas Cake.
Blissful Spirit.
Salted Caramel & Pistachio.
Cranberry, Orange & Cinnamon.
Welcome Home.
Toasted Almond & Plum Crumble.
Raspberry Sloe Gin.
Vanilla Spice.
Chocolate Orange.
I have to say all of the wax melts really do smell divine and fill your home with a nostalgic Christmas fragrance. The quality of the Whiffy Wax melts is amazing, you literally need a small chunk of the wax to pop into your burner and that's enough to provide a big ole scent throw, I wouldn't say their overpowering but they do certainly pack a punch. The wax also melts pretty much instantly so your not waiting around for the scent to start working it's way around the house, I find that really handy when you've got someone popping over at short notice and you want your house smelling lush quickly! What I also love about Whiffy Wax is that all of their products are made entirely by hand using only handpicked quality ingredients, no machinery is used during the manufacturing process and the products use recyclable eco-friendly materials and soy wax.

The Whiffy Wax '12 Days Of Christmas' Advent Calendar is £15.00 and can be found HERE, you could also use my code HAYLEY20 to grab yourself 20% off all products, that would make the calender just £12.00, what a bargain!

Pumpkin Spiced Latte Candle By Kiss Air Candles

Hey beaut's!

It's officially my favourite time of the year again... Autumn!! Yayyyyyy! As you can probably tell I get stupidly exciting for this time of year, I just love the cold crisp days, autumn leaves, hot chocolates, knitwear, boots, pumpkin carving and of course spicy/warming candles, which brings me nicely onto the candle I've been burning away recently by Kiss Air Candles, I think your going to love this one ladies and gents!

Kiss Air Candles literally sell everything that will make your house smell incredible, theres wax melts, wax burners, tea lights, candles and reed defusers with so many scents to choose from.
I've been giving Kiss Airs Pumpkin Spice Latte candle a whirl and if your looking for something autumnal then look no further as this candle smells of all things autumnal in a jar! The fragrance itself is made up of a creamy, spicy mix of nutmeg and ginger with pumpkin and caramel on a sweet buttermilk base.....honestly it smells good enough to eat, just like an autumnal cake or sweet treat, it's divine! For me this scent has the perfect balance of sugary sweetness and warming spiciness, it creates such a cosy night in atmosphere too, so it's perfect for those Hocus Pocus evenings! As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, but it isn't an over powering scent or sickly which is good! The candle has 35 hour worth of burn time which is pretty good for a smaller sized candle, and I love the fact it comes in a glass jar with a black screw lid so you can re-use it after your candle is burnt out!

If your looking for some new candles this autumn then I cant recommend Kiss Air Candles enough, they have an entire autumn range out at the moment and the Toffee Apple scent is next on my wish list, I mean doesn't that just sound lush!

You can buy the Pumpkin Spiced Latte Candle HERE for £9.00.

Yankee Candle Spiced Apple Review - 50th Anniversary Re-Launch!

Hey beauts'!

It still blows my mind that Yankee Candle have been around since the Christmas of 1969!! I mean who knew that...I certainly didn't! So to celebrate the momentous milestone and Yankee Candle's 50th Anniversary they are re-launching some popular classics from back in the day! They actually done this a couple of months back as I reviewed the classic Lily Of The Valley scent, however as these anniversary candles are limited edition Lily Of The Valley is no longer available on the Yankee Candle website so I cant stress enough that if you want a limited edition candle get it now before they all go!
The new re-launch of the Returning Classics range consists of four gorgeous large jars from the 70's, and seeing as we are now in September and I'm officially aloud to get excited about all things autumnal I just had to try Spiced Apple! Spiced Apple is described as 'Our family recipe for apples seasoned with flavourful spices is brimming with down-home appeal' and wowza this candle smells good enough to eat! The candle itself has top notes of cinnamon sugar, cardamom and apple peels, middle notes of juicy macintosh, nutmeg, toffee, pecan and golden pear and base notes of clove and vanilla spice, making it essentially autumn in a candle. It's honestly a mouth-watering scent which is caramel-y sweet but not sickly because the spices really balance it out! I love the rich red colour of the wax too, it adds to that cosy, warm feeling that this candle has. As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, but it isn't an over powering scent which is good, and everyone that walks into my house loves the scent and instantly asks me what candle I'm burning which is always a good indication of a bloody good candle isn't it!

All of the Yankee Candle large jars have a burn time of between 110 – 150 hours and Spiced Apple is certainly lasting me well! If your really into your autumnal, cosy scents like I am then you definitely need to get Spiced Apple, it's got such a spiced toffee-apple element about it which is honestly divine, I cant get enough of this one and feel like I'm definitely going to have to stock up.

You can find the Spiced Apple Yankee Candle for £23.99 on the Yankee Candle website.

Whiffy Wax Candle & Wax Melts Review!

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while then you'll know that I love to scent my home and recently I gave some wax melts from Whiffy Wax a whirl and couldn't believe how good they where, the scent throw was amazing, they don't break the bank and the amount of scents they have to choose from in phenomenal, even my boyfriends been loving them! Whilst browsing on the Whiffy Wax website I noticed they actually sell designer wax melts that smell like your favourite perfumes, say what!!! Obviously I had to try these ASAP along with one of their jar candles!

Their are so many perfume inspired wax melts to choose from, I opted for.....
Daisy - Marc Jacob's Daisy perfume is one of my all time favourites so I just had to try this one, its fresh and super floral and honestly it smells EXACTLY like the perfume!
Ghost - This one is inspired by Ghost The Fragrance and again smells just like perfume, it's fresh and floral with hints of vanilla and apricot which give it a slight sweet kick which I love!
Decadence - This one is inspired by Marc Jacobs Decadence perfume and having never tried that scent before I didn't know what to expect, it's quite musky and woody and I could see a lot of men liking this one!
Narcisse - Inspired by Chloe Narcisse this one is dominated by daffodils. This scent is super  feminine, sweet, and slightly fruity, I absolutely love it!.
Whiffy Wax also sell candles which come in little glass jar's which are so cute and kitch, they have five different scents to choose from within the candle range and obviously my sweet, sugar loving self got the better of me and I picked out Warm Vanilla & Demerara to try! Warm Vanilla & Demerara is made up of notes of sweet brown sugar, vanilla and musk so as you can imagine it smells good enough to eat and the scent throw is great, it fills my entire house within minutes without being overpowering or sickly, I'm obsessed! The candles are available in two sizes, 60ml which is the smallest candle and has an approximate burn time of 13 hours, and theres a larger 120ml candle which has an approximate burn time of 25 hours. The smaller candle comes in at £5.00 and the larger one is £8.00 so again these are super affordable yet amazing quality!

I seriously cant wait for the Autumn/Winter scents to be released, as you know I'm a huge Autumn/Winter lover and my candle and wax melt addiction gets even bigger then, arhh I actually cant wait!

Whiffy Wax Melts Review

 Hey beaut's!

If you know me then you'll know that theres always a wax burner on or a candle burning in my house, I find it so comforting and relaxing not to mention the cosy vibes it brings as well as the added bonus of my house smelling incredible, so yeah - you can see I'm quite the addict! So you can imagine how excited I was when I recently got the chance to try some wax melts from Whiffy Wax, having not tried the brand before I was really intrigued!

Whiffy Wax literally sell everything that will make your house smell incredible, theres wax melts, wax burners, candles, room sprays, reed defusers, and carpet fresheners with so many scents to choose from. What I love about Whiffy Wax is that all of their products are made entirely by hand using only handpicked quality ingredients, no machinery is used during the manufacturing process and the products use recyclable eco-friendly materials and soy wax.

Whiffy Wax have soooo many scents to choose from whether you want bakery, fruity, fresh, floral, sweet, designer and luscious, theres literally a scent to suit everyone! My favourite scents are always anything sweet and foodie and also fresh and clean - and the melts I've been trying are certainly up there with my all time favourites! I have three fresh scents - Fresh Linen, Baby Powder and Cool Breeze and six sweeter scents - Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cinnamon Buns, Fluffy Bubble, Vanilla Crunch, Strawberry Shortcake and finally Citrus Pound Cake! Honestly these scents are right up my street, my favourites so far are definitely Fresh Linen, Strawberry Shortcake, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cinnamon Buns, they literally smell INCREDIBLE!

The quality of these wax melts is so good, you literally need a small chunk of the wax to pop into your burner and that's enough to provide a big ole scent throw, I wouldn't say their overpowering but they do certainly pack a punch. The wax also melts pretty much instantly so your not waiting around for the scent to start working it's way around the house, I find that really handy when you've got someone popping over at short notice and you want your house smelling lush quickly! I actually have the mini wax melts which provide 12 hours of burn time but personally I find they last sooooo much longer. The mini 1oz wax melts are £1.20 each or for better value you can get their Whopper Box of nine mega sized 2oz wax melts for £15.00.
I'm so impressed with these wax melts so far and it's made me really excited for - dare I say it - the Christmas scents, Whiffy Wax actually have some specific scents for Summer available right now but I can only imagine what epic scents they will have for Autumn and Christmas! I'm really interested in their designer scents too, who knew you could get a wax melt that smells of your favourite perfume, yup they have Lady Million, Daisy and Ghost, pretty epic right?!

Yankee Candle Lily Of The Valley Review - 50th Anniversary Re-Launch!

Hey beauts'!

Who would have thought Yankee Candle had been around since the Christmas of 1969??? I had no idea, shocking seeing as I'm a HUGE Yankee Candle fan and have been for as long as I can remember, but no; I had no idea! So to celebrate the momentous milestone and Yankee Candle's 50th Anniversary they are re-launching some popular classics from back in the day!

The 'Returning Classics' collection consists of seven gorgeous large jars and I've been giving one of the best sellers a whirl - Lily Of The Valley! Lily Of The Valley is described as 'like a bridal bouquet capturing traditional lily and subtle and soft green notes' which totally makes sense with the white coloured wax complementing the white and green colours of the lily of the valley flower. The candle itself has a top note of  lily of the valley, middle notes of rose and muguet and a base note of musk, making it a light floral candle with a hint of sweetness! What I love about this candle is the scent is so realistic and not fake in anyway, it honestly smells like you've walked into a secret garden full of flowers and of course lily of the valley, it's beautiful! As for the scent throw...it's very good and managed to fill the entire house very quickly and still lingered when it had been blown out, however it isn't a super strong or over powering scent which is good, and everyone that walks into my house loves the scent and instantly asks me what candle I'm burning which is always a good indication of a bloody good candle isn't it!
All of the Yankee Candle large jars have a burn time of between 110 – 150 hours and Lily Of The Valley is certainly lasting me well, I think because I find that the scent really lingers and fills the entire house I don't have to keep it alight four hours on end which is a bonus. If your into your floral candles then I cant recommend this enough, not only does it smells incredible I think it looks beautiful in the jar too! Of course if your into your sweet, fruity scents then the 'Returning Classics' collection has some of those for you to choose from as well, but Lily Of The Valley is an absolute winner in my opinion!

You can find the Lily Of The Valley Large Jar for £23.99 on Yankee Candle website.

Aequill Orange & Ylang Ylang Candle Review

Hey beaut's!

If you've read my blog for a while you'll probably know I'm a huge candle lover, I've even been given the name 'crazy candle lady' by my family, I'm just obsessed and literally have a candle burning everyday in my house because not only does my house then smell amazing  but I find candles are just so inviting and homely. I've been trying to move away from the autumnal, warming scents recently and have more Spring/Summer vibes going on because lets face it, I'm fed up of this cold miserable weather so anything that's going to give me a pick me up I'm all about right now and Aequill's Orange & Ylang Ylang Candle* has been doing just that!
The Orange & Ylang Ylang Candle is so lovely and smells quite classy and spa like, it contains Bergamot, Sweet Orange, Ylang Ylang and a Lavender essential oil blend which create such a calming, soft yet sweet scent which is right up my street. The orange within the candle is quite sweet and uplifting yet the ylang ylang and the lavender really have a calming effect, it's a great all rounder candle really! The scent throw is really good and fills the house within minutes of being lit but it's not overpowering in the slightest. The burn time is impressive too, I have the 100g travel size candle which claims to burn for up to 16 hours which is pretty good going for something travel sized hey!
What draws me in to Aequill's candles so much is their 'green' vibe, all of the Aequill candles are hand poured into 100% recycled - mouth blown glass jars with a non-toxic, lead free cotton wick, you can even send back your jars once you have burnt the candle and have them refilled at a discounted rate which I think is pretty epic and something I've never heard of before. I also love how the outer cardboard box is hand-stamped with a wax seal, it's such a lovely touch and looks so well presented if your buying the candle for a gift.
You can find the Aequill Orange & Ylang Ylang Travel Size Candle for £16.00 HERE or the larger 200g size for £26.00 HERE.

My Favourite Christmas Candles

Hey beaut's!

Its no surprise that I like a candle or 50 at this time of the year, theres something so cosy about having candles lit when it's dark and cold outside and it's something I actually look forward to when Autumn and Winter comes around. It's not all about the cosy vibes for me though, it's also about those yummy festive scents that we cant get throughout the year, so today I thought I'd share with you all my top 5!

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie - Christmas Cookie is actually up there with my all time favourite candle scents, it has a buttery rich, vanilla and sugar cookie scent which is so divine I could eat it, it's definitely the perfect candle for that person who likes sweet, sugary, food like scents.

Crabtree & Evelyn Noel - This one is seriously festive, it contains notes of fir tree branches studded with tangy citrus zest and mulled spices, it's literally all the traditional Christmas scents wrapped into one candle, the scent throw is seriously good too!

Home Bargains Gingerbread - I discovered this Gingerbread candle in Home Bargains last year and become obsessed so I was so happy to see they brought it bacj this year. Gingerbread is literally one of my favourite scents at this time of the year and this one smells exactly like you've got a batch of gingerbread men baking in the oven, my goodness its smells incredible! These are so affordable too at just £2.99 each for the large glass jars and I may have bought 8 of these so far this, I know I'm terrible!

Yankee Candle Christmas Eve - We buy a Christmas Eve candle to burn every year in our house on Christmas Eve, its become a tradition really and it just wouldn't be Christmas Eve without it now. I love how it subtly smells of all things Christmas, think vanilla, berries, cinnamon and nutmeg it's so lovely and isn't overpowering at all.

Yankee Candle Berry Trifle - Arhhh finally is Berry Trifle, another candle that smells good enough to eat. This one is a fruity yet sweet scent and raspberries and cranberries definitely comes through, theres a light vanilla fragrance too which comes from the vanilla cream but the berry scent is definitely what comes out on top and is the most recognisable, I bloody love anything berry scented!

Whats your favourite Christmas candle beaut's? I'd love to know!

Crabtree & Evelyn Christmas Gift's Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

Christmas is getting so close now I can almost smell it he he and I've got some more Christmas gift ideas for you today from Crabtree & Evelyn. I love Crabtree & Evelyn because not only do they do lots of gorgeous beauty gifts in some incredible scents but they also have foodie bits and pieces and even some lovely candles and reed defusers so theres certainly something to suit most on their website which I love, you can't beat getting lots of presents sorted at once can you.
Even though I've tried quite a few products by Crabtree & Evelyn before I was yet to try one of their candles so I had no idea what to expect. I've been burning their Noël Candle* and wow...it's honestly incredible! Not only does the heavy gold glass jar look super luxurious but the scent is seriously festive, it contains notes of fir tree branches studded with tangy citrus zest and mulled spices, it's literally Christmas in a candle. The scent throw is seriously good too, just as good as a Yankee Candle if not better, and at £16.00 it isn't too expensive for a decent sized candle.
The Pomegranate & Argan Oil Shower Bauble* (£12.00) is such a lovely stocking stuffer, not only is the design of it being an actual bauble super cute but it smells incredibly good too with juicy sweet notes of pomegranate coupled with fresh fig leaves, mmm beaut!

I've always been a HUGE fan of Crabtree & Evelyn's hand creams because they work wonders for me and really nourish my hands when their at their worst so I would highly recommend this Winter Hand Trilogy Cracker* (£12.00). The cracker includes three little 10ml hand creams perfect for popping into your handbag all in super seasonal scents, theres White Cardamon, my favourite Red Berry and Fir and Frosted Spicewood. I think this cracker would make a perfect gift or you could buy a few and put them on the Christmas table instead of the generic crackers.

You can find Crabtree & Evelyn's full Christmas Collection HERE.

The £3 Gingerbread Candle You NEED!

Hey beaut's!

It's no secret that I'm a crazy candle lady, my house is pretty much lit up with candles 24/7 during the Autumn/Winter months. Last year I got pretty addicted to the Gingerbread Candle from Home Bargains but it sold out pretty rapidly and I never got the chance to stock up, but to my surprise they have bought it back out this year so I wanted to shout it from the roof tops so that any of you gingerbread lovers out there can stock up like I did he he!

Now I did review this candle last year but just in case you missed it I thought I'd do a little updated version! This yummy Gingerbread Candle costs a teeny tiny £2.99, what a bargain hey, it's in a heavy glass jar and is the same size as the large Yankee Candles so it's seriously good value considering the Yankees are about £24.00 now! When you open the lid your met with the most amazing, strong 'gingerbread men baking in the oven' scent, my goodness its smells incredible but the real test with such an affordable candle is the scent throw, will it only be good for one burn, will it even smell at all??? Well the answer is yes it does, the scent throw is great and it's super recognisable throughout my entire house every single time I burn it, if you like sweet, warming, spicy scents your going to love this and trust me your going to be craving gingerbread so badly each time you burn this!

I love this candle so much that this year I made sure I stocked up and bought four large jars, yup that's right - four he he! If you haven't tried this beauty yet then get yourself to Home Bargains and grab one to try quickly as I think they will sell out fast again this year, they even have smaller jars for 59p and reed de-fusers too.

Have you tried this candle yet beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!

Zoella Gingerbread Village Candle Review

Hey beaut's!

When Zoella announced her lifestyle collection was going to contain candles I couldn't wait for it all to be released, you all know I'm a crazy candle lady after all. Out of all the candle scents Zoella launched there was one that really stood out to me and I just knew I had to have it straight away, that candle being Gingerbread Village!

Zoella's Gingerbread Village Candle is actually a Superdrug exclusive and carries the same scent as Zoella's gingerbread Christmas Collection. If your into your sweet and spicy scents then this candle will definitely be for you, it contains fragrant scents of ginger, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and oh my it literally fills my house with that 'gingerbread men baking in the oven' scent, it's divine! Packaging wise....The candle itself comes in a weighty glass tumbler style jar which I really like, it matches the decor in my house perfectly and I'm so happy that this collection seems slightly more grown up than her other existing collections.
Overall I'm so happy I picked this little beauty up, it's everything I want from a candle at this time of year and more, it's sweet, spicy, warming, has an amazing scent throw that fills my entire house within minutes and of course it makes the room I'm burning it in feel all cosy, it's definitly an Autumn and Winter essential in my opinion! I also think this candle in particular would make an amazing Christmas gift because it's so festive and would work well as either a stocking filler or as a secret Santa prezzie!

You can buy the Zoella Gingerbread Village Candle on the Superdrug website for £10.00 HERE.

The £3 Gingerbread Candle You NEED In Your Life!

Hey beaut's!

It's no secret that I'm a crazy candle lady, my house is pretty much lit up like Blackpool all year round, however during the Autumn and Winter months my addiction gets even worse and that's not only because I love that cosy feeling but because all of my favourite warm, spicy scents come back out and and I just have to have them all.

Last week my boyfriends parents went out for that day and came back with a couple of candles for me ( you see, everyone knows I'm a candle addict) one of which was in the scent Gingerbread, which I just HAD to share with you all today! This Gingerbread candle came from Home Bargains and cost a teeny tiny £3, what a bargain hey, it's in a heavy glass jar and is the same size as the large Yankee Candles so it's seriously good value considering the Yankees are about £22.00 now! When I opened the lid I was met with the most amazing, strong 'gingerbread men baking in the oven' scent, my goodness its smells incredible but the real test was when I actually burnt this, was it going to have a good scent throw seeing as it was such a bargain??? Yes is does, the scent throw is great and it's super recognisable throughout my entire house, I'm really impressed by it as I must admit I wasn't expecting anything major. If you like sweet, warming, spicy scents your going to love this and trust me your going to be craving gingerbread so badly each time you burn this!

Overall I'd say this is up there with one of my most favourite candles I've ever burnt and that's really saying something considering how many candles I go through! I'm just praying Home Bargains keep getting stock of this in up until Christmas because I need to go in there and stock up as I'm going to be so sad once this is gone, it does have a burn time of up to 95 hours but that's not enough, I need a burn time of forever ha ha.

Have you tried this candle beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know!
