Partylite Spring Collection Reviewed

I have another candle post for you all today, yes I know, I know, I'm such a candle addict but I just love the cosy, warm atmosphere they provide in your house as well as making your home smell absolutely incredible. This time around I've been trying out a selection of the PartyLite Spring Collection that can also double up as a Mother's Day Gift Guide because these candles and accessories would makes amazing Mother's Day gifts!

The PartyLite Spring Collection is so pretty, it's filled fresh, floral and fruity scents in lots of delicate pastel shades and size variations so theres certainly something for everyone. Firstly I've been giving the GloLite Large Jar (£21.50) in the scent Berry Blossom* a go,  this is one huge, double wicked candle that not only looks super pretty with it's lilac wax and shimmering GloLite technology but it smells incredible too. The scent of Berry Blossom is really sweet and juicy, theres sun-ripened berries runing through this scent and a touch of jasmine and sometimes I get a slight sweet pea vibe too, it's honestly gorgeous so the fact that it has a burn time of a whopping 50-60 hours pleases me a lot.

Next up I was really excited to try the PartyLite Decorative Fragrance Sticks* (£12.95 for a pack of 5), these really intrigued me because usually you would have to burn incense sticks but with PartyLite's offering theres no flame or liquid oil required, you just pop the rolled paper fragrance sticks into a holder and the scent lasts up to 30 days, how amazing is that! I've been giving the Peony scent a whirl which is so nice, it smells just like Peony petals mixed with peachy notes. The scent throw is really impressive for something that doesn't burn, I have mine in the SmartScents White Ceramic Flower Holder* (£9.95) on a shelf at the bottom of my stairs and you can literally smell the Peony scent all the way up my stairs and as soon as you walk into my house, it's lovely. All you need to do is use 1-2 sticks for a small area or 3-5 sticks for larger spaces, the sticks also divide so you snap them in half but for a shorter length than the 30 days.

Then theres the super pretty Butterflies Porcelain Tealight Pair* (£28.95), these are so lightweight and delicate sporting lilac and pink butterflies painted on the front and can be used to either pop votives or tea lights in. As well as looking pretty from the outside the inside of the holders have been painted too which really reflects the shimmer of a tea light or votive and looks super pretty. Talking of tea lights I've been popping the Wild Lemongrass Tea lights* (£6.95 for a pack of 12) into my Butterflies Holders, the scent of these is super strong and if you like the smell of lemon sherbets then you'll love this particular scent from Partylite. Each tea light has an impressive 4-6 hours burn time and really kicks off that fresh lemon scent. 

Overall I'm so impressed with the few things I've tried from the PartyLite Spring Collection, everything smelt and looked amazing and I'm certainly going to be getting some bits for my Mum to try for Mother's Day!

Partylite Christmas Candle Review + GIVEAWAY ♥

I have another candle post for you all today, yes I know, I know, I'm such a candle addict especially at this time of year when the weather gets colder and you just want that cosy, warm atmosphere in your house. This time around I've had the chance to review a selection of the Partylite Christmas Collection and to give away everything I mention in this post to one of my lucky followers, eeekkk how exciting!

The Partylite Christmas Collection features lots of traditional fragrances that capture the spirit of Christmas and lots of cute festive decorative pieces that just enhance that Christmassy vibe. Firstly from the Christmas bundle is the Reminiscent Scented Mini Jar Candle Trio* (£24.95) which contains three very festive scents including Iced Snowberries (white) which as the name would suggest smells strongly of winter berries with a hint of sweetness, Crimson Berry (red) which combines fruity berries, sweet caramel and spicy notes which is so yummy and totally my favourite and lastly the trio ends with Emerald Balsam (green) which totally makes your house smell like you have a fresh Christmas tree inside, it's also a very fresh and clean scent too which I really enjoy. Each candle comes in a gorgeous decorative glass jar that has different sized frosty snowflakes adorned all over and looks so festive. The candles have a burn time of 20-30 hours each and they really do throw out a good amount of scent, literally minutes after lighting these candles the scent starts wafting through my entire house and you can really smell it without it being too strong or overpowering. Then theres the gorgeous Enchanted Woodland Votive Hurricane* (£27.95) this comes with a silver metal base, a glass votive holder and a metal cylindrical hurricane which sits on the base and has the enchanted woodland theme etched onto it, once you light a votive inside this looks so pretty and warming, I love it! 

Next up is the Snowflakes Glass Tea light Trio* (£19.95) which are new to Partylite this year, these are so fun to decorate with over Christmas as they come in the festive red, gold and silver colours which can match your decorations and can hold either your votives or tea lights perfectly. And lastly but in no means least is the Iced Snowberries Votives* (set of 6) this is one of the scents from the Reminiscent Scented Mini Jar Candle Trio and smell just like winter berries. Each votive has a burn time of between 8-11 hours which is amazing for votives and the scent throw is medium on these, not too over powering but definitely noticeably divine.

Partylite Halloween Candle Review + Giveaway ♥

I have another candle post for you all today, yes I know, I know, I'm such a candle addict especially at this time of year when the weather gets colder and you just want that cosy, warm atmosphere in your house. This time around I've had the chance to review a selection of the Partylite Halloween Collection and give away everything I mention in this post to one of my lucky followers, eeekkk how exciting!

The Partylite Halloween Collection has been inspired by Mexico's Day of the Dead and features lots of bright colours, spooky decorative pieces and haunting named scent's. Firstly from the Halloween bundle is the Glolite Large Jar* (£21.50) in the scent Hocus Pocus. This is one huge, double wicked candle that not only looks amazing with it's neon wax and purple skulls print but it smells incredible too. The scent of Hocus Pocus is slightly citrus with a coconut and praline twist, it's honestly gorgeous so the fact that it has a burn time of a whopping 50-60 hours pleases me a lot. Then their is the Glolite Colour Changing Candle Base* (£9.95), this goes hand in hand with the large Hocus Pocus Jar and is so much fun, it does require 3AAA batteries but is so worth it, it's actually quite memorising to watch all of the pretty colour change and makes your candles glow and light up. And if your a fan of the Hocus Pocus scent like I am then Partylite also do a pack of 12 Tea Lights* (£6.95) in the eye catching neon yellow and purple colours that match the large jar perfectly. Each tea light has an impressive 4-6 hours burn time and really kicks off that gorgeous Hocus Pocus scent.

Next up is the Autumn Glow Votives* (£12.00 for a set of 6) which are hands down my absolute favourites, the scent is so autumnal, just think warm spiced apples, pine and cinnamon and that's exactly what you get from these little beauties. Each votive has a burn time of between 8-11 hours which is amazing for votives and the scent throw is medium on these, not too over powering but definitely noticeablely divine. Lastly but in no means least is the pair of Skeleton Votive/Tea Light Glass Jars Holders* (£19.95), these are so fun to decorate with over Halloween and can hold either your votives or tea lights perfectly.

Partylite Beach Fun Mini Jar Candle Trio Review

If you've read my blog for a while you'll probably know I'm a huge candle fan, I'm just obsessed and usually have a candle burning everyday in my house because not only does my house then smell amazing everyday but I find candles are just so inviting and homely. As you may have seen the other week I've recently been testing out some candles by Partylite, I  loved their  Forbidden Fruits Mini Jar Trio (review here) so today I thought I'd share my thoughts on their Beach Fun scent.

The Partylite Beach Fun Scented Mini Jar Trio* (£24.95) is as you'd expect  gorgeously summery and refreshing making them perfect to burn at this time of year. The three candle glass jars have a cute beach theme with little fishies, beach balls and suns painted on, and the colours of the candle wax itself just scream summer to me. 

The first candle within the trio is Poolside Passion, this one smells really tropical to me and the mango, rum and lime scents really do come though. Next we have Beach Baby, again another tropical scent but this time pineapple and creamy coconut are immediately detected, I have to admit this is my favourite scent out of the three, the coconut just smells divine and the look of the candle itself is just so pretty. Lastly we have Skinny Sipping, this one is really refreshing and has a definite blend of grapefruit and green apple in there. I'd say the scents overall really remind me of cocktails and I'm guessing that's what Partylite had in mind with this Beach Fun Collection because the scents really so have that summer cocktail vibe which is absolutely lush! Each candle has a burn time of 20-30 hours and really throws out a good amount of scent, literally minutes after lighting these candles the scent starts wafting through my entire house and you can really smell it without it being too strong or overpowering. I tend to burn each candle for around 2 hours and I find that's enough for the scent to linger in my house for hours afterwards which is a major bonus and means you get so many uses out of each candle.

Overall I'm so impressed with the Partylite Beach Fun Mini Jar Trio, they really feel and look like such luxurious candles and they're definitely comparable to some of the higher end brands I've tried, not to mention they make my house smell absolutely amazing! Partylite Forbidden Fruits Mini Jar Candle Trio | Review ♥

If you've read my blog for a while you'll probably know I'm a huge candle fan, I'm just obsessed and literally have a candle burning everyday in my house because not only does my house then smell amazing everyday but I find candles are just so inviting and homely. I've recently been testing out the Forbidden Fruits Trio by Partylite so of course I thought I'd share my thoughts with you all today.

The Partylite Forbidden Fruits Mini Jar Trio* (£24.95) is as you'd expect gorgeously fruity and exotic smelling making them perfect to burn at this time of year. The three wax candles come in gorgeous decrotaive glass jars that can easily be reusing as either a makeup brush holder, cotton bud holder or for my cotton wool pads, but to be honest the list is endless for the amount of uses the jar's have. 

The first candle within the trio is Pomegranate Passion, this has an obvious pomegranate scent but I also get hits of raspberry, apple and vanilla whilst burning this one, it's super yummy. Next we have Blackberry Boudoir, this has rich, deep wild-berry notes and it's quite woody and musky too. Lastly we have Fig Fatale, I love any candle with a fig scent as they just smell incredible and this ceratinly doesnt dissapoint, it also has that velvety vanilla kick to it which is really nice. Each candle has a burn time of 20-30 hours and really throws out a good amount of scent, literally miutes after lighting these candles the scent starts wafting through my entire house and you can really smell it without it being too strong or overpowering. I tend to burn each candle for around 2 hours and I find thats enough for the scent to linger in my house for hours afterwards which is a major bonus and means you get so many uses out of each candle.
