You may have seen over the last couple of weeks that I've started a new little blog series named My Top 5, so far I've shared my top 5 concealers, my top 5 brow products and my top 5 cream blushers, but today I thought I'd share with you all my top 5 beloved mascaras that I just couldn't be without and that I'll always repurchase.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
 Firstly is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, this is probably the best high street mascara I've found which really is a bold statement, it's just so amazing! I actually waited a good few months after this launched to try it because me and Maybelline mascara's never usually get a long for some odd reason but the Lash Sensational is amazing, it's much like Benefits Roller Lash and gives me so much length, separation and curve to my lashes but also volumises and defines at the same time without any clumping or smudging at all, I love it! 

Benefit They're Real Mascara

I love the Benefit They're Real Mascara and I go back to it time and time again, it makes my lashes look so full and long as well as separating every lash, even those tiny inner corner lashes, and the formula is jet black which I love. I can always rely on They're Real for not smudging and its really build-able meaning you can really layer the mascara up with quite few coats and I never get any clumps or flaking at all. I would definitely label the Benefit They're Real Mascara as one of my holy grail makeup products that I think everyone should try.

MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara

I actually got the MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara as it's so popular for being used on your lower lashes because of its very slim wand and I love it, the tiny bristles get to the smallest of lashes and it doesn't run or smudge at all, it's also great at getting to inner corner lashes and fanning out your lashes at the edge of your eye. I'd highly recommend the Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara if you have small lashes that you want to make the most of or if your looking for an amazing lower lash mascara, this baby will do the trick!

Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara

I fell in love with the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara last Summer and have repurchased it again since then because I love it that much. The application process is very quick and easy with this mascara, that's where the 1 seconde part of the title and the unique brush with spherical bristles comes in, you literally achieve instant volume and length with just one to two strokes, theres no faffing around with building up coats of the mascara for volume or length it's just instantly there which I love, and theres not a single clump in sight. This is definite a high street hit that I'll happily keep repurchasing!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

The Perversion Mascara claims to leave you with bigger, blacker, badder looking lashes and I have to say they are pretty much on point with that description, if you want thick, long and inky black lashes you need this mascara in your life. I do find this mascara performs better with the Subversion Primer that I actually got with mine as part of an offer but once that ran out I was still left impressed with long thick lashes that didn't smudge of clump, so I'd highly recommend giving them a go.

Benefit Real Cheeky Party Kit Review

You may have seen if you read my What I Got For Christmas post that my boyfriend generously got me the Benefit Real Cheeky Party Blushing Beauty Kit for Christmas, even though this kit sadly isn't available anymore I couldn't not do a post on it because I'm seriously in love with it and have used it everyday since Christmas Day, plus you can buy all the products within the kit separately and theres nothing limited edition within the kit so I thought I'd give it a 'cheeky' review, did you see what I did there he he!

Firstly lets talk packaging, I thought Benefits Christmas line was so fun this time around and I loved the Real Cheeky Party's bright green and pink polka dot party theme. The kit itself comes in a very sturdy tin and the products are set into a thick foam base that again is really secure. Within the kit is 8 products in total including four powder blushes, a bronzer, a highlighter, a gel eyeliner and a mascara, below is the full rundown....

 Dandelion - a pretty soft peach with a hint of pink and a minute golden shimmer-sheen running through it, I can see Dandelion being the perfect Spring time blush! Rockateur - a deep dusky rose colour, this has been my go to blush most days recently, I absolutely love it! Sugarbomb - a peachy-pink shade with a subtle golden sheen, this is quite a glowy blush that will come in handy in the Summer months and could even be used all year round when I want a real glow to my cheeks. Lastly for blushes is CORALista  - a peachy coral shade with pinky tones and a frosted, gold finish. The perfect shade for the Spring and Summer. Their is another powder within the Cheeky Party Kit but this time its in the shape of the ever so popular Hoola Bronzer, a medium brown bronzer shade with a matte finish. I've actually been using Hoola to contour with everyday since I got it and love it, I think it's quite a universal bronzer shade that would suit most and it blends out beautifully. Each square powder has 5 grams worth of product in instead of the usual 8 grams which is what the full size boxes contain. 

Next up is the sample size of the Watt's up! Highlighter, this is a champagne coloured highlighter that has a cream to powder finish, it does need a slight bit of warming up with my finger in the pan but it looks beautiful on the cheekbones and down the centre of my nose. Lastly within the kit is two makeup products that claim to help achieve bigger, sexier eyes, theres a deluxe sample of the They're real! Push-up Liner and a deluxe sample of the They're real! Mascara. I already knew I loved the mascara as I have the full size and love how long and separated it makes my lashes look but I was keen to try the Push-up Liner after hearing so many positive and negative things about it, my first impression of it are its super black, easy to apply but only if I pop the gel on the back of my hand and then pick it up product with the applicator, without doing it that way I did find it slightly time consuming to apply and lasting power is incredible, to the point of me thinking it was super glued to my eyes, my god it's a bugger to remove!

Overall I've been getting on with this little kit so well, I had been lusting after Benefits boxed blushes and the Hoola bronzer for years but their £23.50 price tag always put me off but this way I've been able to try so much Benfit makeup and have loved it all.

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick Review + GIVEAWAY! ♥

I have an extremely exciting post for you all today, firstly I'm reviewing the Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick* in the shade Innocent (£20.00) and secondly I have 2 more of the Estée Lauder Lipsticks to give away to you beauties thanks to the amazing Cosme-De website. If you haven't heard of Cosme-De before it's basically a beauty lovers dream ha ha, it is an online shopping site that sells all things beauty, skincare, fragrance, haircare plus much more, they  stock brands such as Benefit, Bioderma, Clinque, Bobbi Brown, YSL, NARS and that's just to name a few so theres certainly plenty of choice on the website. Anywhooo onto the lipstick review... The Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick claims to keep my lips moisturised without compromising the colour payoff, this was very interesting for me as I love moisturising lipsticks but always find they lack in the pigmentation department and go on very sheer, so I couldn't wait to put this lipstick to the test and let me tell you beaut's, the results are just WOW!

As I said before the shade I have is Innocent which is a gorgeous coral/nude shade, perfect for everyday wear during the Summer or even on a night out when your eye makeup is more dramatic. The formula of the Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick is just amazing, it's so soft, smooth, creamy and feels luxuriously comfortable and lightweight on the lips. The pigmentation is amazing for such a moisturising lipstick and lasts a good 4-5 hours on my lips without any feathering and leaves no sticky feeling on the lips either.

The design of the lipstick overall is great, the lipstick bullet itself has a slim shape which sculpts the curves of your lips for easy, effortless application and the slim, navy packaging looks so chic and luxurious and comes complete with an innovative, magnetic closure that clicks the cap securely shut, this I must add is so addictive as I just love the sound and feeling of that click ha ha.

Overall I absolutely love this Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick, it's certainly got me lusting for more as it ticks all the boxes for me, moisturising, pigmented, creamy texture, gorgeous colour, great lasting power, pretty packaging with an addictive magnetic cap, what more could a girl ask for from a lipstick he he.

These Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers are something I couldn't wait to try, they seem to be the queen of eyelash curlers in the beauty world don't they? On first impressions these curlers are really good and I definitely think if you have very flat, straight lashes you'd really benefit from these little beauties as they really do lift and curl the lashes extremely well. Personally I have quite curly lashes anyway but I find after using these bad boys my lashes really are lifted and appear a lot longer than they actually are which is a huge bonus for me, I have quite small eyes you see so anything that can open them up more is always a winner for me. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch* in 01 Luminous Radiance £25.00

The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat is another very popular product in the beauty world and is something I've been dying to try. After using this little golden beauty for a few weeks  I can definitely see why it's so popular because it's blooming amazing! The tiny light particles and mineral extracts within the formula really help to create light, luminosity and radiance to all of the places on the face that need it. I found that on me the Touche Éclat literally banishes the dark shadows underneath my eyes, adds a gorgeous highlight to the cheekbones, brow bone and down the nose, and it can really trick the eye when used around the contours of the lips because it can make them appear fuller and more pouty which I really like when I'm wearing lipstick. It's also really travel friendly and fits in any handbag/makeup and the packaging is just to die for, it just looks so luxurious doesn't it.  

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara* £12.00 

I've always thought bottom lash mascara's where abit of a fad if I'm honest, I've never really had a problem with any mascara smudging on my lower lash line before so I kind of thought whats the point, until now! The cute little Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara wand honestly gets to every single tiny bottom lash and makes my lower lash line appear alot fuller, it has honestly found lower lashes that I didn't know existed ha ha. As well as being fantastic for those lower lashes it's also great at getting those hard to reach inner corner lashes on my top lash line, not to mention it's staying power is incredible, it literally doesn't transfer, move or flake all day, I've fallen in love with this little cutie.

Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara | Review

Hey girlie's!!!

Ive got a mascara review for you all today and my goodness its a good'un!!! I seem to have a massive mascara addiction, I just love them!!! So a big well done to my Mum for picking out this beauty for me as part of my Christmas presents ha ha. I have rather small eyes so I'm always after a mascara that will really lengthen my lashes to make my eyes appear bigger and more open, so say hello to Urban Decay's Supercurl Curling Mascara!!!

Firstly I'm just going to dive straight in and say this is actually the best mascara I've ever tried, I'm so impressed!!! The Supercurl Mascara is infused with conditioning ingredients, with Glycoprotein to help thicken lashes, Moringa Seeds to help define a curl, plus Meadow foam Seed Oil and Shea Butter to condition, smooth and nourish lashes, so as you can imagine with all of those combined it makes a pretty amazing mascara!

The applicator/wand has a plastic brush which usually I'm not a fan of as they can be very hard and scratchy upon application however... the supercurl brush is curved meaning as you apply it, it coats your lashes easily, evenly and allows you to wriggle at the root of your lashes without poking your eye out! 

The lasting power of this mascara is also incredible, the curl never drops, there's never any flaking or smudging, your eyelashes never go rock hard either and my mascara always looks the same when I'm about to remove it in the evening as it did in the morning after I applied it so overall this Supercurl Mascara really does tick all the boxes for me!!!

The mascara retails for £15.00 which personally I don't think is too bad for a high end mascara, considering some drugstore mascaras can be up to £12.99 nowadays. Id certainly recommend this mascara to anyone who likes that wide eyed look or if you have a mascara addiction like me then you definitely need this bad boy in your life ha ha.

China Glaze | Loft-Y-Ambitions Review

Hey girlie's!!!

I seem to go nail polish crazy in the Autumn, and I just cant seem to resist a good berry tone shade, so say hello to China Glaze Loft-Y-Ambitions*.

Loft-Y-Ambitions* is a gorgeous deep, Burgundy shade perfect for this time of year, it also has ever so slight micro shimmers running through it that are only really visible in the bottle and not on the nails. You may notice this shade is very similar to Short & Sassy but without Short & Sassy's strong metallic sheen. Loft-Y-Ambitions applies really well without any bubbling or streaks and needed 2 coats to be completely opaque. The only downside to this polish is how darn fast it chipped, I used a standard topcoat and it was only on my nails 2 days before they could of done with completely re doing, I would definitely recommend a very good/strong top coat with this polish otherwise I'll think you'll be disappointed with its lasting power.

Overall I adore Loft-Y-Ambitions gorgeous autumnal colour but its lasting power really lets it down for me. I will just have to remember to apply a really good top coat when I use this shade again.
