Lush 'Sale' Haul

Hey girlie's!!!

I'm back with a Lush 'sale' haul for you all today, I hope I'm not the only one who sprung out of bed at 9am on Boxing Day to check out all the online sales ha ha, I cant resist a good bargain!!! I absolutely love Lush but only tend buy it on a special occasion, its not something that I buy all year round but the fact they have a 50% sale at Christmas means that its a super special occasion for me and I treat myself to a few bits...

So here's the irresistibly cute, sweet smelling treats I picked up...

Magic Wand Bubble Bar £2.47
The Magic Wand is one of my all time favourites... It smells incredible, it's just like the Snow Fairy Shower Gel but in Bubble Bar form, I think it super cute too, just swish it around the bath until you have your desired amount of bubbles then store it somewhere safe and dry until your next bath.

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar £1.32
Another absolute favourite of mine and another Snow Fairy inspired bubble bar, I actually bought 3 of these as I love them so much, its sweet shop scent is so addictive plus your bath water goes baby pink, cute!!!

The Comforter Bubble Bar £2.25
I love The Comforter, I usually get about 3 uses out of  it as its so big, it has a very distinctive sweet blackcurrant scent to it which is just incredible and your bath water goes bright pink and super bubbly too.

Christmas Eve Bubble Bar £1.47
I remember buying one of these a few Christmases ago and it made my bath water go a gorgeous sea green colour (sounds horrible, but it isn't) and was full of bubbles so I cant wait to use it again.

The Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar £1.47
How cute is this little chap, awwww!!! He's so cute I don't want to use him ha ha. He has a strong citrus/musky scent and I can imagine the bath water is going to turn a gorgeous sky blue colour with lots of bubbles.

The Melting Snowman £1.12
As cute as this little melting snowman is, he smells horrible to me and if I was in the actual store instead of online shopping I wouldn't of picked him up. The scent it very deep, musky and manly so my boyfriends actually going to use him as he loves the scent.

Cinders Bath Bomb £1.22
I'm not a huge fan of bath bombs, you might have been able to tell as my haul is full of bubble bars but I just cant resist Cinders. Its got an amazing Cinnamon/Spicy/Zesty scent to it, its such a festive fragrance, it also contains popping candy that sounds like the crackling of a fire when it goes in the bath which is pretty cool although I have had a few duds in my time, I thinks its just the luck of the draw really, you need to pick a good one ha ha. The only downside to Cinders is your bath water can turn a horrid pale yellow (pee pee) colour ha ha but if you just ignore that, its lovely!!!

So that's all the Lush goodies I picked up in the sale, all with 50% off, what bargains!!! I do love a good ole Lush bargain!!!

Did you hit the Lush Christmas Sale this year beaut's??? What treats did you pick up???

Urban Decay 'NAKED 3' Palette | Review ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

Today I'm back with a review for you all, but not just any review, oh no no no, but a review of the new, beautiful Urban Decay 'NAKED 3' Palette!!!

So in December Urban Decay sent us beauty bloggers into abit of a spin when we found out they where launching a new palette in their 'NAKED' range, when I saw the very first pictures of the palette I instantly feel in love and knew that the palette just had to be mine. I had mentioned to my boyfriend that I really wanted the palette but I honestly didn't think that I would get it as it seemed to sell out really quickly, but there I was on Christmas morning opened my very last present from my man and to my amazement it was the NAKED 3 palette, eeekkkk I squealed so much ha ha, I cant tell you how excited I was.

Firstly the 12 totally new rose-hued neutral eye shadows come in a gorgeous rose gold metal case with a good size mirror inside the lid, I prefer this packaging so much more to the cardboard packaging my original 'NAKED' palette has as the newer packaging shuts completely secure and looks like it will be so much easier to wipe clean. As I said the palette contains 12 eye shadows, 3 of which are matte and the rest of the palette is made up of shimmers and metallic's, the packaging also holds a lovely double ended crease/shadow brush and Urban Decay have also thrown in 4 samples of their best selling primers, with each primer pod estimated to last you a week, what a brucie bonus!!!

Now onto the stunning shades....
Strange - "a very pale neutral pink matte eyeshadow, great for highlighting the brow bone“.
Dust - “a very shimmery pale pink with iridescent micro-glitter, be warned the glitter particles fall out everywhere“.
Burnout - “light peachy shade “.
Limit - “light dusty rose matte eyeshadow that would be great used as a base“.
Buzz - “a metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter“.
Trick - “a metallic copper shimmer with micro-sparkles running through it, again another shade where the glitter particles fall out quite bad“.
Nooner - "a matte pinky mauve shade, again great used as a base or blend out shade“.
Liar - “metallic mauve shimmer“.
Factory - “brown satin shade with pinky undertones“.
Mugshot - “metallic shimmery taupe shade“.
Darkside - “a deep mauve-greyish shade“.
Blackheart - “smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle“.

As you can see this is very much a pinky toned palette with a variety of shades that can take you from day to night, I love the fact NAKED 3 contains 'all new' shades too, as theres no worry of doubling up on eye shadows you might already have from previous NAKED palettes. All the shades in the palette are lovely and soft with an easy to blend formula and have great pigmentation, even the matte shades, and if you really want that wow factor from the metallic shades then using your brush damp can make all the difference, this is something I personally love to do for a night out make-up look. Also I just have to touch upon the shade names, I mean how great/quirky is 'Nooner' and 'Mugshot' he he.

Overall Urban Decay have triumphed again, the NAKED 3 palette is everything I thought it would be and more. The palette is priced at £37.00 making each eye shadow £3.08 which I think is an absolute bargain for the high end quality, also the fact you get the extras like the brush and the primers I think its very much a great value for money palette.

What are your thoughts on the NAKED 3 palette beaut's??? I'd love to know.

2013 Haircare Favourites ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

So we may have waved goodbye to 2013 but we can still appreciate a few products we've loved throughout last year cant we? So today I thought I'd do a little round up of a few hair  products that have become either favourites of mine or staple products that I repurchase over and over and cant live without otherwise my hair would be... well just awful ha ha!!! I've already put up my 2013 Beauty Favourites which you can read here ,I could of put lots of products in this post as I really have loved alot of  hair products in 2013 but here are the handful I have chosen, and be warned I do love me some VO5 ha ha....

Rana Argan Oil
Ive been growing out my hair throughout 2013 and leaving my hair alot longer between trims so the ends tend to split quite bad and also the added fact I use heat on my hair quite often means my hair does need some treatment and a little pick me up, thank goodness for Rana Argon Oil!! I love to use the oil as a before shampoo treatment, I just spritz it all through my hair thoroughly the leave for 40 minuets and shampoo out, it leaves my hair feeling really smooth, shiny and the ends looked so much more healthier.

VO5 Heat Protect Styling Spray
A heat protect spray is essential for me as I use heat on my hair most days and VO5's offering is my all time favourite, it smells incredible, it doesn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy and it protects up to 230 degrees which I think is really good and whats best is its super affordable!!!

VO5 Give Me Texture Tousled Style Spray
I adore this stuff!!! If you curl or wave your hair this little beauty will be your best friend forever. Ive been curling my hair quite often, its just the style I seem to love at the moment and this spray seems to really help with the effects. I literally curl my hair, put a few pumps of the tousled style spray into my hands and then use my hands like a comb and run it through my hair, not only does it get away any frizz but it just adds more texture and oomph to my hair. I even use this on second/third day hair and it will literally bring your curls/waves back to life like you've just re curled your hair when you actually haven't, its amazing!!!

VO5 Plump It Up
I only discovered this is October but I just couldn't leave it out, its incredible! I hate backcombing my hair as its such a chore, not to mention how much it damages your hair but I do love abit of added volume at my roots so this stuff is like magic in a can for me ha ha. You simply give the can a good shake before use then spray evenly on dry hair, including your roots, I then rub and jujj where I've sprayed the backcombing spray and then your left with loads of volume, your hair is honestly huge, its also great for up doo's too, whoop!!!

L'Oreal Studio Matt & Messy Salt Spray
Whenever I want to achieve messy beachy waves I reach for this L'Oreal beauty every time. You can either use it on dry or damp hair, give it a good scrunch and then voila, you have beachy waves within minutes, its so easy and great for the summer too.

Tigi Bed Head Headrush
This stuff is great if your hair is looking and feeling really dull, its adds so much shine and makes your hair look freshly washed and as with most Tigi products it smells gorgeous!!!

And there you have it, a few hair products that really have made a difference on my hair during 2013.

What have your haircare favourites been during 2013??? Leave me you links if you've done a similar post as I'd love to read it.
