March Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

I cant quite believe its that time again.... Monthly favourites time!!! I
know we all say this every month but honestly I cant believe how quick the months are going, its crazy... At least we can look forward to some sunshine, warmer days and pretty flowers now that it's officially spring, yayyy!!! Anywhoo today I thought I would share with you all the makeup and beauty products I've been loving throughout March, so here goes....

Marc Jacobs Daisy
Oh how I love this perfume...I was only introduced to Marc Jacobs first iconic perfume Daisy about a month ago and ever since I've been addicted to it and have been wearing it most days. Daisy is such a light, easy to wear fragrance and has an amazing fresh, floral scent with a hint of sweetness in there too, making it the perfect daytime spring/summer fragrance. Daisy is definitely going to be my go to spring/summer scent also can we just take a moment to appreciate how pretty the bottle is, ohhh!!

Nanshy Flat Top Buffer Brush
I must admit I'm quite particular when it comes to my base makeup brushes and I usually stick to my Real Techniques Buffing Brush all the time but after giving my dressing table a good sort out recently I rediscovered my Nanshy Flat Top Buffer Brush, so I decided to use it again and I fell straight back in love with it! I just love the finish that the buffer brush leaves, my foundation is always completely even and so well blended, it also makes my foundation feel more lightweight on the skin but I think that could be down to the brushes capability to blend so well. I would highly recommend this brush if you looking to achieve that perfect, flawless base... Ohhh I just love it!!

NAKED 3 Palette
Without a doubt the NAKED 3 Palette has been my ultimate favourite for this year so far as I've been using it pretty much everyday since I got it last Christmas, its just perfect for everyday wear and the shades are just so beautiful, I also think this will be a great little palette to use during Spring/Summer as its packed full with gorgeous rose-hued shades. You can check out my full review of this palette here.

Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder
This well and truly deserves a spot on my favourites this month and every month to be honest as it's just amazing!!! Ive been using this setting powder more of less everyday since the end of October last year and I still have more than half of my tub left which I think is pretty impressive already ha ha. What I love the most about this translucent powder is that it does exactly what it says on the tin, its sets your makeup into place all day!!! The finish the powder leaves is incredible, its makes my skin look completely flawless and buffs away imperfections, theres no visible shine or oiliness throughout the whole day, it allows my base make up to stay in place all day with no need for any touch ups and its not even visible on the skin so no one can even notice you've used a powder and you don't have to worry about it caking up. You can check out my full review here if you like beaut's.

Collection Cream Puff in Cotton Candy
As I've recently been switching up my lips products for Spring and I've been finding myself reaching for my Collection Cream Puff alot. I just love its natural, muted pink shade which seems to just go with everything and it applies super easy too so its great for any on the go touch ups or applications. It does set to a moisturising matte finish which isn't drying at all which is a bonus and lasts on me around 3ish hours which I think is amazing!!! It's literally in my handbag all the time now ha ha.

YSL Baby doll Mascara Sample
You may know that a while back I got a free goody bag when I purchased 2 makeup items from the Debenhams website and within my goody bag was a sample of the gorgeous YSL Baby doll Mascara... Well I have to say it's blooming lush!!! It does a great job at separating my lashes and gives them lots of oomph and volume, it never clumps, smudges or transfers and the wand is fabulous for getting to those hard to reach lashes too. I will be doing a review on this soon so keep your eyes peeled girlie's ha ha.

What have been your favourite beauty products to use throughout March beaut's??? I'd love to know!!!

January Favourites ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

I cant quite believe its that time again.... Monthly favourites time!!! How has the start 2014 been for you all??? I honestly cant believe how quick the time is going already, its crazy... Anywhoo today I thought I would share with you all my favourite beauty products I've been loving throughout January... So here goes.

Urban Decay 'Naked 3' Palette
Without a doubt the NAKED 3 Palette has been my ultimate January favourite, I've been using the palette everyday since I received it at Christmas as its just perfect for everyday wear and the shades are just so beautiful. You can check out my full review of this palette here.

Milani Sunset Duo's Blush & Bronzer in Sunset Breeze
I actually received this duo as a gift back in the summer last year from my friend Harriet (please check out her blog and show her some love he he) and I have recently rekindled my love for it again. The bronzer part of this duo is completely matte so its been great to use for contouring and to generally give me a nice healthy looking glow in this dull horrible weather we have in the UK at the moment, Ive also been loving the little blush part of this duo too, it's got micro glitter particles running through it so I have to use it sparingly but it gives me a nice pop of colour on the cheeks which I love.

Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara

Again, like the NAKED 3 Palette this Urban Decay Mascara was another Christmas present that I've become obsessed with using. It's one of those all rounder mascara's that does everything I want and need from a mascara, it lengthens, curls, separates, theres no flaking or smudging and it doesn't budge all day, it's just perfect!!! You can check out my full review of this little beauty here.

B.Quick 4-in-1 Cleansing Wipes
I bought these wipes on a whim as they where on a half price offer, and now I absolutely love them. I only use them in the mornings just to give my skin abit of a refresh from cleansing properly the night before but they make my skin feel so clean and soft and most importantly they don't irritate my sensitive skin or make my eyes sore which most wipes do apart from the Simple ones.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
I'm a massive Soap & Glory fan but surprisingly I hadn't tried their Sugar Crush brand until just recently and the Body Scrub in particular is amazing. It's crammed full of smashed brown sugar and macadamia grains and exfoliates the skin amazingly, Its also really zingy and fresh which I love using in the mornings to wake me up abit and make me feel all refreshed.

What's been your favourite beauty products throughout January??? I'd love to know!!!

Urban Decay 'NAKED 3' Palette | Review ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

Today I'm back with a review for you all, but not just any review, oh no no no, but a review of the new, beautiful Urban Decay 'NAKED 3' Palette!!!

So in December Urban Decay sent us beauty bloggers into abit of a spin when we found out they where launching a new palette in their 'NAKED' range, when I saw the very first pictures of the palette I instantly feel in love and knew that the palette just had to be mine. I had mentioned to my boyfriend that I really wanted the palette but I honestly didn't think that I would get it as it seemed to sell out really quickly, but there I was on Christmas morning opened my very last present from my man and to my amazement it was the NAKED 3 palette, eeekkkk I squealed so much ha ha, I cant tell you how excited I was.

Firstly the 12 totally new rose-hued neutral eye shadows come in a gorgeous rose gold metal case with a good size mirror inside the lid, I prefer this packaging so much more to the cardboard packaging my original 'NAKED' palette has as the newer packaging shuts completely secure and looks like it will be so much easier to wipe clean. As I said the palette contains 12 eye shadows, 3 of which are matte and the rest of the palette is made up of shimmers and metallic's, the packaging also holds a lovely double ended crease/shadow brush and Urban Decay have also thrown in 4 samples of their best selling primers, with each primer pod estimated to last you a week, what a brucie bonus!!!

Now onto the stunning shades....
Strange - "a very pale neutral pink matte eyeshadow, great for highlighting the brow bone“.
Dust - “a very shimmery pale pink with iridescent micro-glitter, be warned the glitter particles fall out everywhere“.
Burnout - “light peachy shade “.
Limit - “light dusty rose matte eyeshadow that would be great used as a base“.
Buzz - “a metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter“.
Trick - “a metallic copper shimmer with micro-sparkles running through it, again another shade where the glitter particles fall out quite bad“.
Nooner - "a matte pinky mauve shade, again great used as a base or blend out shade“.
Liar - “metallic mauve shimmer“.
Factory - “brown satin shade with pinky undertones“.
Mugshot - “metallic shimmery taupe shade“.
Darkside - “a deep mauve-greyish shade“.
Blackheart - “smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle“.

As you can see this is very much a pinky toned palette with a variety of shades that can take you from day to night, I love the fact NAKED 3 contains 'all new' shades too, as theres no worry of doubling up on eye shadows you might already have from previous NAKED palettes. All the shades in the palette are lovely and soft with an easy to blend formula and have great pigmentation, even the matte shades, and if you really want that wow factor from the metallic shades then using your brush damp can make all the difference, this is something I personally love to do for a night out make-up look. Also I just have to touch upon the shade names, I mean how great/quirky is 'Nooner' and 'Mugshot' he he.

Overall Urban Decay have triumphed again, the NAKED 3 palette is everything I thought it would be and more. The palette is priced at £37.00 making each eye shadow £3.08 which I think is an absolute bargain for the high end quality, also the fact you get the extras like the brush and the primers I think its very much a great value for money palette.

What are your thoughts on the NAKED 3 palette beaut's??? I'd love to know.

What I Got For Christmas 2013 ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

Today I thought I'd join in on the 'What I Got For Christmas' bandwagon, personally I love reading these type of posts and seeing what lovely gifts everyone receives, I know this is abit of a love/hate post so I just want to add a little disclaimer that in no way am I bragging/ showing off, I'm a super lucky lady to receive all the lovely gifts I got and I really am grateful and thankful!!! Anywhoo lets get going....

Beauty/Make-Up/Perfume

Firstly let me just squeal in excitement at the fact my boyfriend Michael managed to get me the Naked 3 Palette...Eeeek!!!!! Words cannot describe how much I'm in love with this palette, its just so beautiful!!! Michael also got me the gorgeous Ted Baker Large Make-Up Bag, I've been lusting after one for a super long time so I'm thrilled to have one, its so cute!!! My Mum & Dad then surprised me with some MAC goodies & a Urban Decay Mascara,  it just goes to show my Mum doest actually switch off when I talk to her about make-up constantly ha ha bless her.
Bath Sets
I'm a huge Soap & Glory lover, everything about the brand is amazing in my eyes so I was super thankful for these 2 beaut's. My Mum & Dad got me the 'Once Upon A Lime' Set which smells absolutely incredible, its so refreshing and will definitely wake me up when I have my morning shower. The 'Bright and Bubbly' Set was from Michael and contains 4 miniature Soap & Glory classics and a body buffer, this little lot is definitely going to keep me going for a while.
Electrical
Michael spoilt me so much this year bless him as the 'Remington Pearl Pro Curler' was a gift from him also, this past year I've really got into curly/wavy/textured hair so I'm super excited to try out this bigger barrelled curler and see what looks I can create. The 'Oral-B Electric Toothbrush' and 'Paloma Floral Lamp' where gifts from Michael's parents, after using the electric toothbrush I actually cant believe how nice your teeth feel afterwards compared to when you use a standard toothbrush, its bizarre but great ha ha.
Candles
If you know me you will know I'm obsessed with Yankee Candles, I always have them burning everyday in my house, I'm such a crazy candle lady he he!!! I received a medium 'Beach Walk' candle from my Auntie, I must admit it's never really caught my eye when buying candles in the past, but my goodness it smells incredible!!! My Mum and Dad kindly got me a Christmas Samplers Selection, they know how much I love my Christmassy scents ha ha and Michael's parents bought me the large Apple Spice candle which again smells incredible.

Slippers
Oh my... How stinking cute are these slippers from Next!!! My Mum and Dad got these little beaut's for me and they are literally the softest most cosy slippers that my feet have ever seen ha ha.

Blogging Goodies
I actually couldn't believe my eyes when I opened up this... a Portable Photo Studio!!!!! How amazing!!!!! I've been lusting after lighting for my blog pictures for a while as taking blog photos at this time of the year is impossible so this present has just answered alot of my prayers ha ha, I love the fact that the set is all portable, making it so easy and lightweight to carry around and if I only want to use the lights out of the set I can or If I just need the tripod etc. I'm really looking forward to having a play around/photo session soon and hopefully my picture quality will improve. Major boyfriend points for Michael for treating me to this ha ha.

So that's most of my gorgeous gifts, my goodness I'm a lucky girl!!! I also received some comical stocking filler gifts, a tonne of chocolate that I think will last me a lifetime ha ha and this year me and Michael received quite alot of money so we will be treating ourselves in the sales I'm sure!!!

What did you get for Christmas beaut's??? Leave me your links below as I'd love to see.
