Sleek MakeUP CC Cream Review

Hey beaut's!!

Now that the Summer has finally arrived in the UK I thought it would be the perfect time to try out another CC Cream, so today I have Sleeks offering to share with you all.

Sleek's CC Cream* comes in 4 different shades Fair, Light, Medium and Dark and claims to boost radiance and mattify shine and the long-lasting complexion corrector cream also claims to treats and conceal imperfections, sounds pretty great right!?
The shade I have is in Light, which I have to say is pretty dark for something that claims to be light and I think I could definitely of got away with the fair shade, that being said Light is OK for me in the summer months when I have abit of a tan going on so it's not too bad but just bare that in mind if you decide to try it out. The formula of Sleeks CC Cream is very nice and great to work with, it's extremely moisturising and nourishes the skin and combats dull and uneven skin tones leaving you with a beautifully fresh, even complexion. The CC cream also contains vitamin C which helps to protect your skin against damage caused by free radicals, it also reduces fine lines, wrinkles and improves skin elasticity and if that wasn't enough it also has an SPF 29 making it perfect to take away with you on holiday or throughout the Summer months. The coverage of the CC cream is medium but buildable however you'd still need to use some concealer on any dark blemishes or spots. The finish of the CC Cream I really do favour, it's somewhat matte but still has a dewy-ness about it too,  it's unique colour adaptive technology really helps the CC creams blending ability making it feel like a second skin and really does combat redness, the technology also makes the skin appear brighter and enhances the skins natural radiance, whilst keeping any shine at bay!
Overall as far as CC creams go this really is a good'un and since we've been in the middle of a heatwave in the UK recently its really been under the ultimate test and passed with flying colours... It's been amazing at keeping any shine to a minimum and I really love that the finish isn't full on matte and flat looking, it doesn't cling to any of my dry patches and blends in relatively quick, it doesn't ever look cakey or oily on my skin and the added SPF has been a complete bonus recently... Yes the shade is slightly too dark for me when I've not got a tan but the colour adaptive technology really does well at blending in with my skin tone and when using a small amount I can just about get away with it when I'm not so tanned. As for the packaging... It holds 25ml's of CC cream and really isn't that exciting and the plain white part of the packaging does get grubby quickly but in the end it does the job!

You can find the Sleek CC Cream on the Sleek MakeUP website for £8.99 or in selected Superdrug stores.

Have you tried the Sleek CC Cream beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know.

Sleek Californ.I.A Blush By 3 Palette | Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

With Summer fast approaching I think its the perfect time to switch things up in my makeup bag and introduce more cream based products and of course get some beautiful coral shades in there too, and the perfect place to start is Blusher, so say hello to the gorgeous Californ.I.A Blush By 3 Palette*.
The Sleek Makeup Californ.I.A Blush by 3 Palette is one of two new blush trio compacts that launched this Spring from our friends at Sleek, bringing the current Blush By 3 total to 8 gorgeous palettes (that's a heck of alot of blushes he he). The Californ.I.A  Palette which I'm reviewing for you all today contains 3 gorgeous peachy/coral toned, cream blushes which are all inspired by all things California! Think, the sun, beaches, surf life, the heat, arhhh it just makes me feel all warm thinking about it!
Firstly I'm just going to jump right in and say I love this palette, it's just absolutely stunning! Like I said before all the of the three blushers in the Californ.I.A palette are cream in formula and have such a soft, creamy texture which allows them to blend out an absolute dream, I like to use my finger to pick up my chosen blush (my finger literally melts into the silky smooth blush arrhh) then pop the colour onto the apples of my cheeks so that I resemble a clown ha ha and I then take my Real Techniques Buffing brush to blend the blush all out onto my cheeks, I find that, that particular brush just seems to work amazingly with Sleeks cream blush offerings and blends effortlessly in seconds. As for the blushes pigmentation... It's great! They apply to the cheek the exact same shade as they look in the actual palette but blend out to a very subtle finish allowing you to build up as much colour to your cheeks as your heart desires, so if you want a natural look you can create that with ease or if your want something more vibrant you can achieve that with ease too.
Now onto the shade rundown...

♥ OC- A pinky toned coral with an ever so slight luminous look to it and has a slight lustre finish.

♥ The Surf- A pale golden peach with lots of minute golden shimmers running through it. This shade works beautifully as a highlight shade, especially if your rocking a summer tan and had a luminous finish, it's so pretty and delicate.

♥ Newport Peach- A coral shade with abit more depth to it than the other two shades in the palette, I wouldnt say this shade is as luminous as they other two but it still looks beautifuly dewy and fresh on the cheeks.

The lasting power of each blush is amazing, they last on my skin a good 7-8 hours without fading or moving and feel so lightweight, just like a second skin. The finish that all 3 blushes leaves is very much dewy, healthy and luminous, so if your looking for a cream to powder blush then these wont be for you, but if you want that healthy, sun kissed , holiday look for the summer then the Californ.I.A Palette will be right up your street.

Overall I'm majorly impressed with Sleeks Californ.I.A Palette, your getting 3 amazingly pigmented cream blushes, which honestly replicate high end quality for the price of £9.99 which makes each blush come in at around £3.33 which is an absolute bargain in my opinion. So girls, if your looking for some cream blushers for the Summer with peachy/coral tones this is the kiddo hehe!

Have you tried the Californ.I.A Blush Palette before beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts on it!

Sleek MakeUP Eyebrow Stylist in Medium | Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

I've really been getting into my eyebrow products at the moment, I'm usually a brow powder girl and to be honest I've never really experimented much with many brow products in the form of pencils or wax but recently I've been giving the Sleek Eyebrow Stylist* a go and I have to say I love it!
Sleek Makeup's Eyebrow Stylist (£5.99) is available in three shades Light, Medium and Dark so there should be a shade to suit most brows woohoo, and for any of you brow fanatics out there it's said that Sleeks offering is an exact dupe for the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil which retails at a whopping £26.00, so your making a great saving with Sleeks offering. The very first thing that stood out for me when opening the Eyebrow Stylist was just how practical the packaging is, it's quite a basic, plain black, plastic packaging but has that 'sleek' feel to it and then it gets better because it combines a unique angled pencil on one end, with a styling/blending brush on the other end to help groom those brows into place, so you literally have everything you need for your brows in one little pencil, it's great!
The Eyebrow Stylist also has a very intreaguing yet unique angular tip which I've never really seen before within a brow pencil. The angler tip can be used either on it side, using the slanted, flat edge to fill in larger area's of the brow with broad strokes and the pointed tip is great for more defining strokes and outlining your brow. I must add, another fabulous thing about the Stylists  packaging is that is has a twist up mechanism, so no need for sharpening which means the unique shape of the pencil will never be ruined, genuis!
I find when using the pencil it applies quite soft making it easy to create a natural look but of course you can build that colour up to have those brows as bold as you like! As for the Stylists formula... It's completely matte, quite creamy and smooth which I like as certain brow pencils I've tried in the past have been really hard, stiff and rather drying but Sleeks offering is nothing like that at all. The lasting power of the brow pencil on my brows was really good, my makeup is always applied quite early in the moring and when ive gone to remove my makeup in the evenings my brows still look groomed yet natural and thats without using a brow gel or fixer over the top, so the lasting power gets a big thumbs up from me.

Overall Im majorly impressed  with Sleeks Eyebrow Stylist and the Meduim shade matches  perefctly with my hair and brow shade. If your looking for a practical, afforadble, great quality brow pencil, that applys easy and had a super smooth formula this is the kiddo for you!

Sleek MakeUP's Eyebrow Stylist retails for £5.99 and is availble in selected Superdrug and Boots stores and of course online at www.sleekmakeup.com.

Have you tried the Eyebrow Stylist before beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts on it!

Sleek Pomegranate Blush Review | Perfect For Autumn

Hey girlie's!!!

Ive been on the hunt for that go to Autumn blush for a while now, i wanted something with that pop of colour that would give me that cute flush to the cheeks without looking like a clown or a disco ball he he. Finally i found myself this little gem 'Sleeks Pomegranate Blush'.

Pomegranate is a berry/raspberry shade with a slight metallic sheen to it however... Once its applied to the cheek it gives you that cute flush that you get when its really cold outside in the winter time, its just such a beautiful blush. When i saw the metallic sheen i was slightly worried it would be too much but i must admit the metallic sheen is only ever so slight, i can hardle notice it to be honest. You don't have to worry about this blush being glittery in anyway either as there's no noticeable micro glitter particles running through the blush itself.

As with most of Sleek Blushes 'Pomegrante' is super smooth in texture and isn't powdery in the slightest,  it's easy to blend and packed full of pigments, a little really does go a long way with this blush so be careful not to load your brush up too much. I also adore the packaging, it comes in Sleeks standard black 'sleek' looking packaging that feels lightweight yet durable and opens up with a nice mirror inside which i always think is a nice touch for any on the go touch ups.

Overall I'm super happy to have this beauty of a blush in my life, I can tell its going to be well and truly loved by me over the Autumn/Winter months.

You can buy your Sleek Pomegranate Blush in selected Superdrug stores and on the Sleek website for £4.29.
