What I Got For Christmas 2018

 Hey beaut's!!!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and stuffed your faces with all the pigs in blankets and chocolate because I know I did! I'm so sad Christmas is all over for another year though, I absolutely love the build up and the pretty decorations but hey, today I thought I'd keep things slightly festive and join in on the 'What I Got For Christmas' bandwagon, personally I love reading these type of posts and seeing what lovely gifts everyone received. I was so lucky this year and received some lovely gifts from my family, boyfriend and friends and I really am grateful and truly thankful for everything I got! Anyway lets get going...
So lets kick things off with makeup, their wasn't actually much makeup on my Christmas wish list this year which is a first for me, but the one thing I had been longing for was the Huda Beauty New Nude Palette, and seeing as it's a hefty £56.00 I knew it would be something I would never buy myself but my boyfriend Mike treated me to it and I'm so thankful because look how stunning it is! As Mike knows what a makeup addict I am he also got me a Benefit set which was exclusive to Boot's this year, it's has some great full size bit's in it as well as some travel sized goodies so I cant wait to start using them! My Mum and Dad then got me the Too Faced Under The Christmas Tree Set which has a whopping three palettes inside as well as a travel sized Better Than Sex Mascara, my Mum done so well bless her, she stalks my Instagram for ideas apparently LOL!
My Mum and Dad also picked me up the Soap & Glory The Mask Force Five Set, the Christmas Edition Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and a Lush Bath Bomb Gift Set, all of which I absolutely adore so thank you so much Mum and Dad, they also got me some Topshop Joni Jeans but I completely forgot to photograph those, oops!
One thing I couldn't believe my boyfriend Mike got me was the Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall Lego set, this is something I've often seen in shops and said to Mike I'd love to build it and he only went and got it for me bless him, I'm actually half way though making it already because isn't Lego addictive....I have a strange feeling Lego building could be my new hobby LOL! Mike also picked me up a bottle of Jimmy Choo Blossom perfume too because he knows it's my go to fragrance for Spring/Summer so I'm now stocked up with a big 100ml bottle!
My bestie Kate knows me so well, she got a Yankee Candle bauble because I'm such a candle addict, a baking cook book because one of my main hobbies is baking and the Maybelline Line and Prime Gift Set which is just me all over, thanks so much girl! And finally Mike picked me up a new hand whizzer, this was actually on my Christmas list as the last hand whizzer I had literally blew up a couple of months a go so I was in desperate need of a new one! He also got me the most precious Beauty and the Beast music box which you wind up yourself and it plays the Beauty and the Beast theme song, I LOVE this so much and haven't stopped winding it up since I got it!
So that's all of my gorgeous gifts I received this year beaut's! I also received some tins of chocolates and biscuits that I think will last me a lifetime ha ha and I received some money too so I think a shopping trip will be in order very soon I'm sure!!!

What did you get for Christmas beaut's?? Leave me your links below as I'd love to see.

Hey beaut's!

Over the past year or so I've really got into Pixi as a brand and their skincare has gone down an absolute treat with me so far however.... theres still a few Pixi skincare goodies I've be longing to try and their Best Of Bright Kit is not only a great way to try out more products without committing to the full size but also it would make the most amazing Christmas present!
Pixi's Best Of Bright Kit* contains three of Pixi’s best-loved ‘Glow’ products, and I mean who doesn't love glowing skin, I know I do! Staring is this set is the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser (15ml), the cult classic Glow Tonic (30ml) and the Pixi Glow Mud Mask (15ml), all of which are discovery-sized!
This sets aim is to reveal your best skin in three easy steps by cleansing, exfoliating and treating so lets start with cleansing and the Glow Mud Cleanser, this little beauty contains clay and glycolic to remove dead skin cells, detoxify pores and to draw out impurities to reveal radiant and brighter skin. Then theres the ridiculously popular Glow Tonic, this stuff has been raved about for years and I have no idea why I've waiting so long to try it, containing glycolic acid it gently exfoliates the skin removing dead skin cells and leaves the skin instantly looking brighter! The set is then made complete by the Glow Mud Mask, this is a 15-minute facial in a tube and I love it, it's the perfect way to restore luminosity to lacklustre or winter-ravaged skin and works wonders on congested, dull looking skin.
This trio together really does make my skin look and feel amazing, I cant stress enough how much brighter, fresher and healthier my skin now looks after finishing all three of these deluxe samples, and I've already got a full size bottle of the Glow Tonic on the go, it lush stuff!

Christmas Beauty Baubles 2018

Hey beaut's!

Their are sooooo many beauty baubles out this Christmas, brands have seriously upped their game and I'm loving them all so I just had to share a few of my favourites with you all today. Personally I think beauty baubles work amazingly well as stocking fillers or for secret Santa's, their all super festive because of their bauble design, reasonably priced and still great little gifts at the same time that most beauty lovers would enjoy. My favourites out of all the baubles that I've featured in this post would have to be the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Champagne Pop Mini Highlighter, this is such a popular highlighter and the fact it comes in bauble form this year is pretty epic! I also love that Urban Decay have jumped on the bauble bandwagon with their all nighter setting spray and Benefit have launched LOADS of baubles this year featuring most of their cult classics like the Hoola Bronzer, their mascara's and even some of their blushes! I also love to little Real Techniques baubles, their so cute and super affordable at just £6.00 each!

DIPTYQUE Surprise Pocket Do Son & Tuberose £38.00

Will you be gifting any of these baubles this year beaut's? Which one is your favourite? I'd love to know!

Zoella Lifestyle Christmas Collection Revealed!

Hey beaut's!

A couple of weeks ago you may have seen that I done a little post on the Zoella Beauty Christmas Collection which you can find in Superdrug, if you haven't seen it yet you can check out my post HERE. The beauty collection looks pretty epic and left me chomping at the bit for the reveal of Zoella's new lifestyle collection which is always available in Boots, lucky for me as I was scrolling through the Boots website I came across quite a few of their Christmas gifts and Zoella's was on there, hurrayyyy.

The theme of the lifestyle collection looks very pretty this year, it has a botanical feel which is so Zoella and I'm totally living for the dark blue and baby pink colour way Zoe has got going on! As far as the gifts go it looks quite similar to last year but obviously everthings been updated, the mug this year contains two caramel hot chocolate sachets which I think is a nice addition and looks more like a gift set than just a mug, theres a trio lunch box set which looks cool, I actually got the duo tins Zoella bought out last year and I still love them. The candles are back with new scents of Hot Chocolate and Midnight Wonder but so far their isn't matching reed diffusers like there was last year but that could well be because their not on the website yet! Their are a few newbies within the collection too like the pink fluffy slippers, cosy socks and mittens and headband set which all looks super cute! Prices start from £6.00 up to £20.00 so theres certainly a gift for everyone whether you want something big or small, and don't forget these are all in Boot's classic 3 for 2 Christmas offer which we all love!

You can find the entire Zoella Lifestyle Christmas Collection HERE.

Will you be buying any of the Lifestyle Christmas range beaut's? What have you got your eye on? I'd love to know!

Zoella Beauty 'Cosmos' Christmas Collection Revealed!

Hey beaut's!

It's that time of year again.... Yup, dare I say it....Christmas is just a mere few months away and I for one am totally excited, I absolutely adore Autumn/Winter and Christmas and seeing all the pretty gifts in the shops gets me so excited, so when I was browsing the Superdrug website yesterday and came across some Christmas gifts by Zoella I literally had love hearts in my eyes and had to share them with you all today! The collection is called 'COSMOS' and consists of 11 gifts so far, I have no idea if more will be added but there are 11 gifts currently on the Superdrug website to choose from!

The theme of the collection looks very galactic which I'm totally living for and the scent that seems to be popping up in most products is vanilla and peppermint which is right up my street, I hoping its going to be like the vanilla scent from Yankee Candles Christmas Cookie mixed with a candy cane, that would be dreamy! As far as the gifts go it looks quite similar to last year with the mini perfume set, the roller ball set, then theres the fragrance itself, the hand cream is back and the large mega box with most items in is there too! Prices start from £5.50 up to £40.00 so theres certainly a gift for everyone whether you want something small or big, don't forget though we often see a dip in prices once the collection has been out a month or so - so it's likely the prices will indeed be reduced slightly!

So what do you think of the Zoella Cosmos Christmas Collection beaut's? I'd love to know! I'm certainly looking forward to the reveal of her lifestyle collection in Boots now!

Check out the Zoella Cosmos Collection HERE at Superdrug or HERE at Feel Unique!

June Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

June has been a bit of a poo month really, a close family member has been poorly and it's generally been crap, but on a brighter note I'm currently on holiday from work and the weather is bloody gorgeous so theres always that! A favourite I have to add in before we get down to beauty business is Love Island, oh how I'm addicted! I actually re-watched series 1 and 2 on Netflix before series 4 started (why oh why isn't series 3 on Netflix?) and I've been hooked to series 4 ever since it came on, I must admit it has been a slightly slow start but I feel like things are really heating up this week, I also detest Adam and Meghan, ewwww!
Firstly this month I have been loving my Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara again, I'm doing that thing where I'm trying to use makeup within my makeup collection before going out and buying something new, and as I'd finished my Tanya Burr mascara I decided to whack this beauty back out and I've really been loving it! It volumizes and lengthens as it separates which is just what I like and it doesn't flake or smudge on me, hurrah!
Scent wise this month I've been obsessed with my Zoella Gelat'Eau Body Mist, in fact I've nearly finished my bottle now! The scent of this mist is so nice for this time of the year, think slightly floral, fresh and edible (but don't actually spray it in your mouth he he) it's lush!
My lips have been having a real dry spell recently so out came the Clarins Lip Oil to the rescue, it leaves a shiny, non-sticky finish on the lips which is so nourishing and gives my lips that dose of moisture they crave! I have a feeling I'll be buying lots of this stuff during the colder months too, I really want to try one of the tinted, scented ones next!
Leighton Denny's Street Dance has been my go to for the last couple of months really, it has a clear base but is jam packed with all different sizes, shapes and colours of glitter, and after a couple of coats it literally takes any coloured manicure to a whole new level, it's stunning!
I've only just recently been using my Joan Collins lippie in the shade Bella because I had totally forgotten about it 'silly me', but I had to include it within my favourites because it looks so bloody pretty! It's a delicate peachy nude and for me it's the easiest way to switch my lip colour up for the Summer without going too bold!
My final favourite this month is from Zoella again, it's her Shower Sauce Body Wash from the same Gelato range as the body mist above! This stuff has the same gorgeous scent as the perfume, it's so summery and lingers on my skin for hours after use, for me it smells of all things Summer within a body wash!

What have you been loving this month beaut's? I'd love to know!

My Spring/Summer Nail Polish Picks By Barry M

Hey beaut's!

I cant believe I'm finally saying this but the Spring weather has finally arrived here in the UK...wait, what....shocking right lol! It's been absolutely glorious and hit 28 degrees where I live last week which was just immense and long overdue! Seeing as it's been so lovely I decided to get my favourite Barry M Spring/Summer nail polish shades back out and share them with you, I'm pretty much obsessed with Barry M's nail polishes, their so affordable, great in quality, they last well on my nails and the choice of shades and finishes they have is incredible.
(From left to right Prickly Pear, Dragon Fruit, Flamingo, Mint Green, In A Heatbeat, Pinktail, Jellyfish)
Firstly I love Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine Collection because the glossy finish is just everything and it's a really hard wearing formula, my two favourite shades are Prickly Pear which is a pastel lavender/lilac shade and Dragon Fruit which is a candy pink shade with hidden micro shimmers within it, arh they both so pretty! My next favourite is Barry M's Coconut Infusion in Flamingo, this is a bright coral which is a great one if you want your nails to really pop and it looks fabulous against a tan. Then we have Barry M's Nail Paint in Mint Green, this is a gorgeous pastel mint green shade that makes my nails look fun and vibrant and it's the only shade of green I really wear on my nails to be honest. Next is Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry in In A Heart Beat, this is such a pretty colour, sometimes it looks pink then salmon then peach and because it's in the Speedy Quick Dry range it's a great one for gals who are on the go or just hate waiting for polish to dry like me because this one drys in a flash. The final two shades are from Barry M's Under The Sea Collection which is a pretty epic collection for Spring/Summer, I have the shades Jellyfish - a gorgeous lilac with a baby blue/turquoise duo-chrome shift and Pinktail - a salmon-pinky -coral which has a stunning gold duo-chrome shift to it. These two do need some building up to be completely opaque but it's so worth it as the effect is gorgeous!
What are your favourite nail polish shades from Barry M to wear during the Spring and Summer months beaut's?? I'd love to know!

Getting Your Feet Spring & Summer Ready!

Hey beaut's!

It's finally Spring which hopefully means warm and sunny days are on the way, well I'm keeping my fingers and toes firmly crossed anyway as it's currently raining cats and dogs out there as I type this, anywho moving on......Now seems the right time to get pampering those tootsies and get them looking their best ready for the pretty sandals to come back out, oh how I'm longing for the days I can whack on some flip flips without even thinking and walk out the door, c'mon sun!
The first essential for me to get my feet looking half decent is getting rid of any dry, hard skin and my Scholl Express Pedi does this in a matter of seconds, I actually got mine for Christmas last year and I cant believe I didn't buy myself one before hand, it buffs and smooths out the skin on my feet so quickly and the results really last. It's pain free too which surprised me as I thought it would hurt and I find it somewhat relaxing if I'm honest he he.
After the gross dead skin is gone I love to nourish my feet with my favourite foot moisturiser - Soap and Glory's Heel Genius! I've been using this stuff for years because it actually works and lots of other foot creams I've tried before talk the talk but definitely do not walk the walk like Soap and Glory's Heel Genius! It keeps my feet extremely soft, smooth and moisturised and you can even use it as an overnight treatment if you apply a thick layer to your feet before bed and sleep in some cotton socks, it works a treat I tell ya!

Finally after giving yourself a cheeky pedicure your going to need some pretty sandals to wear and the latest addition to my sandal collection are these gorgeous Casey Bronze Metallic Studded Slip On Sandal Sliders* by XY London. These pretties are so comfy and easy to just slip on and they go with literally anything whether it be mini dresses, shorts, skinny jeans, maxi dresses, you name it they work. I also love the colour of these, the bronze effect sometimes looks gold, rose gold or even copper depending on the lighting, I always tend to go for bronze/gold sandals in the Spring/Summer as I find them so versatile so much nicer than wearing Black!
You can find the Casey Bronze Metallic Studded Slip On Sandal Sliders for £19.99 HERE, they are also available in Black, White and Silver!
