Blogmas Day 2 - My Favourite Festive Nail Polishes

Hey beaut's!

Welcome to blogmas day two! I'm really embracing Christmasy nails at the moment so I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you all my favourite nail polishes that I always whip back out for the festive season!
Firstly I have my Ciate nail polish in the shade Sand Dune, this is such a stunning true gold shade that goes on super smoothly, dries very quick and wears really well, I tend to use this as more of an accent nail shade on my thumb and ring finger. Next up is probably my favourite nail polish for the festive season out of all the polishes in this post and that is Barry M's Red Glitter. Red Glitter is made up of tiny red specs of glitter that are suspended in a transparent liquid so you do need to layer up a couple of coats for full opacity and let me tell you it's totally worth the couple of coats because it's the most sparkly, Christmassy red glitter that you'll ever set your eyes on. My next pick is again from Barry M but this time it's their Molten Metal nail paint in the shade Copper Mine, this is a gorgeous copper-toned polish which is crammed with multi-tonal shimmer that catches the light beautifully, I use this one again for accent nails however it looks lovely all over the nails too. My favourite Christmas red shade that contains no glitter or shimmer is the China Glaze nail polish in Tip Your Hat, it such a glamours red and super festive. I sometimes like to top Tip Your Hat  with my next pick which is Essie's Summit Of Style, this one an antique goldish/bronzish glitter top coat which contains large hex shaped glitters and smaller flecks that are suspended in a clear base, it's the perfect sparkly top coat for the festive season. Finally I have Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine nail paint in Sparkling Ruby, this one is a gorgeous red glitter shade that has a subtle golden shimmer effect running through it, such a festive shade.

All of the nail polishes above apply like a dream without any bubbling or streaking and last a good amount of time on the nails, if I had to pick a favourite brand of nail polish that I featured in this post I'd have to go for Barry M, I honestly don't think you can beat them for the price and the quality can you, their polishes really are amazing and theres so much shade choice too isn't there!

What are your favourite nail polishes to wear during Christmas beaut's? I'd love to know!

  2. These are gorgeous colours. Glitter nail polish is an absolute pain to remove - good luck with that! I always use Rimmel polishes, they're just the absolute best.

    Lovely post.
