I have something pretty amazing to share with you all today, a nail polish rental service! Yes you did read that correctly he he, thanks to the amazing Coloristiq* we can now rent some beautiful nail polishes every month, woohoo the days of dried up and unused nail polish are now over!
So your probably wondering how this genius invention works... Well each month you get the option to choose three nail polishes from the hundreds that are available on the Coloristiq website. They have a wide variety of nail polishes and shades to choose from by salon quality brands such as OPI, Essie, China Glaze and Morgan Taylor, which you can add to your Coloristiq Wish List. Then each month the three nail polishes on your Wish List will be delivered to you through your door by post, for you to use for 30 days, allowing you three paintings per bottle. Yes, that means nine applications per month, for an amazing £14.49! Once the month is up all you have to do is simply repackage the polishes, stick the return label included on the top of the box and pop it into your nearest postbox, theres no extra postage cost or queueing up for hours in your post office, its that easy and convenient.
The three nail polishes I received are all full size China Glaze polishes which where actually released just in time for Christmas last year, I love the fact that Coloristiq have all the current and new collections, its great. The first shade I got was 'Tip Your Hat' which is a gorgeous and glamous red creme shade, next I got 'Out Like A Light' which is a dark steel grey creme and lastly I got 'Chillin' With My Snow-mies' which would work amazingly as a top coat over the other two polishes, it contains small, medium and large matte white hex glitters which are suspended in a clear base, it gives the illusion of snowflakes on your nails which is so pretty for this time of year.
Overall I think this a pretty amazing idea, you get three full size, high end nail polish shades that you've chosen yourself so you know you will like the shades, theres nothing worse than getting random colours that you might not like which you see happen alot with other beauty subscription boxes, and you get to use them as much or as little as you'd like for 30 days, it's just brilliant! And don't worry, each bottle of nail polish will be cleaned by the Coloristiq team when it arrives back with them and before it is dispatched to the next Coloristiq subscriber, meaning the bottles will always be in perfect condition on their arrival.
