Freedom Makeup HD Eye Foils Reviewed & Swatched!

Hey beaut's!

I've been really into eyeshadows with a foil finish at the moment, and when I was browsing  all the makeup in Superdrug on my lunch break recently I saw that Freedom Makeup had released their very own packets of eye foils, obviously being the makeup addict that I am I just had to buy a packet to try and I'm so glad I did because I love them!
Freedom Makeup have a few colour variations of eye foils to choose from but I opted for the Metallic 1 set, this includes 5 magnetic eyeshadows pans all in a beautiful mix of neutral and warm tone foil finish shades. The reason I opted for this set was because for me it's really versatile, I love wearing warm toned shades all throughout Summer and Autumn/Winter so I knew I'd get the most use out of these particular shades. The pans actually come sat in thin plastic packaging but their designed to go into Freedom's #ProArtist customisable magnetic palettes, I have a Z Palette with a few Makeup Geek shades in so I've popped mine in their and they fit perfectly and securely!
The formula of these foil shades are stunning, each shade is intensely pigmented, buttery soft to swatch and apply beautifully with either a flat brush, fingers or you cam spritz your brush with some fixing spray for a super intense foil finish. I actually like using my finger to pop the shades on and then I blend out with a brush, they blend out so easy as well with basically no fall out and stay super intense all day!
I'm so happy these caught my eye in Superdrug, I absolutely love them and these shades are so on trend right now, the warm tones make me think of the Urban Decay Heat palette or those Huda Beauty Textured shadows, their so pretty! And if the quality of these shades wasn't good enough then the price will knock your socks off, their only £5.00 a pop! Yup that's right, it makes each foil shadow £1.00 each, how amazing is that! If your into foil shades or warm tones your going to love these shadows as much as I do!

You can find all of the Freedom Makeup Eye Foils for £5.00 each HERE.

48 Eyeshadows for £15 | Freedom Black Arts Pro Artist Pad

Hey beaut's!

I love a good ole neutral eyeshadow palette and when I saw Freedom's Black Arts Pro Artist Pad in the goody bag that I got from Makeup Revolution's 2nd Birthday bash I instantly fell in love, I just had to review it for you all today so that you could all enjoy its gorgeousness as much as I do!
The Freedom Black Arts Pro Artist Pad comes packaged just like an iPad, it honestly looks like you have an iPad sat inside a leather effect case but instead when you open the case it's eye shadows inside and not an iPad he he. Personally I love the packaging, it's quite sturdy and so different and contains a decent size mirror which is always appreciated!
Within the palette are 48 (yes I did just say 48) gorgeous neutral eyeshadows in a mix of matte, satin, metallic and shimmery finishes, trust me this palette will have you oohing and arrhhing when you open it for the very first time as that's exactly what I was doing he he. The shades range from light to dark with mostly warmer tones making up the palette with a few cooler shades thrown in for good measure too, theres literally every neutral shade you could ever need or wish for within this palette, it's so pretty!

The quality of each eyeshadow within the Freedom Black Arts Pro Artist Pad is so good and left me so impressed, they are packed full of pigmentation, all buttery soft to swatch, easy to work with and blend out a treat and they last great on my oily eyelids without any creasing or fading for most of the day which is a major bonus for me.

Overall I've been absolutely loving this palette and really cant knock it at all, it's perfect for any makeup beginners or for anyone looking to grow their collection like myself, and can you believe it's only £15.00, yup that's right, £15.00 for 48 eyeshadows, what a beauty bargain!

Freedom Pro Studio Strobe Cream Reviewed!

Hey beaut's!

Strobing seems to be huge at the moment and I'm actually really getting into the trend, its all about getting the perfect glow and enhancing your features by using only a highlighter and natural light. I recently gave Makeup Revolutions offering a go and absolutely loved it so I was keen to see how their sister brand Freedom Makeup's Strobe Cream fared!

Freedom's Pro Studio Strobe Cream (£8.00) is a radiance enhancing product that can be used either under or on top of your foundation or mixed together with your foundation to make your skin appear healthy, dewy and glowing. Personally my favourite way to use this Strobe Cream is by using it all over my face underneath my foundation, I love that glow from within look and that's exactly what you get from this. The formula actually comes out as a thick white cream at first but then melts into the skin transforming into an ivory/pink pearlescent sheen on my skin once it's blended in, their are some ever so slight pink glittery particles that run through the strobe cream which at first I was slightly worried about because disco ball images popped into my head, but actually once my foundation is blended in over the top all you can see is a glowy effect and it isn't glittery at all. When I compared both the Freedom Makeup Strobe Cream and Makeup Revolutions Strobe Cream there really wasn't any difference at how each product worked, it's basically just the colour of the sheen that's different, Makeup Revolutions strobe cream is more warm and golden and Freedom's is cool and pearlescent so really your favourite would just depend on what look you like to go for really!
Overall I do really like this little beauty and have been using lots underneath my foundation recently, it makes such a nice dewy, radiant base and just makes my features pop and look more highlighted, I love it! As I said before this strobing cream can double up as a cream highlight that sits over your foundation which I've found looks equally as pretty when blended with a brush, and I think a pea sized amount mixed into my foundation in the summer months will look incredible and super illuminated so I'll definitely be giving that whirl!

Have you tried the Freedom Pro Studio Strobe Cream yet beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know.

Freedom House of GlamDolls Palette in Vintage Doll Review

Hey beaut's!

As some of you may know I'm a HUGE Freedom Makeup fan, the brand is very similar to the much loved Makeup Revolution which is actually because they are created by the very same people, so I always expect the same bargain prices as Makeup Rev but a whole new world of stunning makeup to choose from with Freedom Makeup. Recently we saw the launch of some exciting new palettes from Freedom and I couldnt to try one and review it for you.
Freedom Makeup have recently paired up with the House of Glamdolls to release four new #Glamacademy palettes, theres 'Vintage Doll' which I'll be reviewing for you all today, 'Spirit Doll', 'Exotica Doll' and 'Fairy Doll', all of which offer different sets of shades to create an entire look (minus foundation) which I think is amazing and so convenient for travelling purposes because everything can be found in one place.
The Vintage Doll Look palette* is inspired by “the timeless glamour of Old Hollywood and pin up beauty to reveal your ultimate siren“ and is totally up my street in terms of looks that can be created and the shades that come with it. The palette comes packaged in a glossy black plastic case with a large mirror inside which is always much appreciated. Inside theres a total of 23 shades to play with including 2 blushers, 12 eye shadows in a mixture of matte and shimmer finishes, 1 highlighter, 4 brow powders and 4 lipsticks, wowza that's a whole lot of products right there.
In terms of the quailty and formulation of this palette there are some things that I love and some things that I was quite dissapointed with. So lets start with the positives, I absolutly love the two blushes within the palette, they come in the shades Retro and Glamour which I think are super pretty and completment my skin tone really well and blend out beautifully with my Real Techniques Blush Brush. The four Brow Powders are also a hit with me, the only shade that I can actually use for my brows is Taupe but that doesnt mean I neglact the other 3 shades, oh no no no, they double up as awesome eyeshadows and I have been using them a lot through my crease to add defintion. The highlighter within the palette is in the shade 'Starlight' which is a silvery/white irrideant colour, it looks super pretty on the cheek bones and can be built up as much as you like and it doesnt contain chunks of glitter which is a major bonus for me, the only negative with the highlighter is that it comes in a narrow pan in the palette which makes it hard to pick up with a brush. The eyeshadows are slightly hit and miss for me, most of the shades are well pigmented but I did find some of the shimmer shades had quite a lot of fall out when I was playing around with them and I did get some slight creasing with the shimmer shades too however, I have really enjoyed the matte shades and the brow shades work really well as eyeshadows too. And lastly, the lip shades, their are four to choose from ranging from a classic red going darker as you go a long, these are probably what I was most dissapointed with, I was expecting something more opaque but instead they are more like a glossy, tinted balms.

Overall as you can see I do really like this palette and the idea behind it is amazing, it's just a shame about the lipsticks and a few of the eyeshadows, however the brow shades, highlighter, matte shadows and blushes are amazing and I've been using them on a daily basis so I certainly havent written this palette off in terms of makeup bag status at all. The palette is priced at just £8.00 which I think is such a bargain for what you get and it's such a great idea when it comes to traveling too.

Have you tried any of the Freedom House of GlamDolls Palettes beaut's? What did you think? I'd love to know.

Freedom Makeup Pro Studio Priming Water Review

Hi beaut's!

Priming waters and sprays seem to be everywhere at the moment and are proving to be really popular and effective in the beauty world however.... most of them aren't budget friendly so I was really pleased to see that Freedom Makeup have their very own offering that is extremely affordable and I was super keen to try it.

The Freedom Makeup Pro Studio Priming Water* (£6.00) is a stunning lightweight primer that can be used to either provide the perfect base underneath your makeup or on top of your makeup like a finishing spray for extra highlight and dewy-ness. So does this little beauty work you may be wondering... in a word YES! I've absolutely been loving this priming water and how it makes my skin look and feel, to apply the priming water all I do is after popping on my usual moisturiser I just spritz 4 sprays onto my skin, 2 going downwards from the top on my face to my chin and the 2 going across from ear to ear, I like spritzing it in that way so I know all my skin has had some priming water love, I then wait a few seconds for the priming water to settle in slightly and I usually fan myself with my hands to speed up the process he he. The priming water feels so refreshing and lightweight and adds a dose of moisture to the skin because of it's added multi-vitamins and creates a really nice dewy base to work on, the spray wont reduce or fill in pores but is great for boosting radiance and revitalising your complexion. I feel like when I use the Freedom Priming Water my makeup seems to blend out better and the overall finish of my base makeup looks a lot more perfected than usual,

I also love using the priming water after I've applied all of my makeup, kind of how you would use a setting spray, it just adds more radiance to the skin and reduces that flat, matte, powdery look which I do hate. I would probably say someone with slightly dryer skin like myself will benefit more from this priming water because of its hydrating qualities and the fact that its adds radiance to the skin, that being said as the priming water does contain glycerin which is a key ingredient in keeping things set onto the skin and making your makeup long lasting so I think oily skin types shouldn't rule this priming water out either.

You can find the Freedom Pro Studio Priming Water on the Freedom Makeup Website or in selected Superdrug stores for just £6.00, what a beauty bargain!

Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette Review ♥

Hi beaut's!

You may have seen that back in June we said a big hello a new makeup brand in town named Freedom Makeup. I've actually been using quite a few their makeup products recently and have been super impressed by the quality, one product in particular that I've been obsessed with which I didn't think I would be too fond at first  is their Pro Correct Palette, so I thought I'd review it in full for you all today.

The Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette* (£5.00)  is described as being a “Makeup Artist’s Secret Weapon” and contains 6 rectangular shaped correctors that are to be used underneath your makeup to conceal, tone and illuminate the skin leaving you with a nice even base to start your face makeup.
Each funky shade within the Pro Correct Palette has a specific use, the Yellow is perfect for hiding purple and blue under eye circles, veins and can help lighten dark complexions. The Purple shade is great for eliminating any unwanted yellow undertones on your skin, so if you suffer with a pasty, dull, yellow complexion you will love this purple concealer shade. The Green shade neutralises the colour red, so if you have any redness on your face or an annoying zit and any acne scars this shade will really help you out. The Pink/Salmon shade is ideal for brightening around the eye area and masking signs of fatigue, great when the signs of a rough nights sleep really show he he. The Orange shade is perfect for people with darker skin tones looking to hide dark circles or other spots with deep discolouration. And lastly the White shade within the palette is great for highlighting and adds natural luminosity to the complexion.
I really have been loving this little palette, each colour does a great job of what's its been made to do and they are all super creamy and blend out a dream. My most used shades are the Yellow and the Green, I have such dark under eye circles in the mornings and it usually takes me layering 2 concealers to really get rid of them but when I use the Yellow shade within the Pro Correct Palette it helps soooo much. The Green shade has been a godsend for the redness around my nose in the mornings and due to being slightly hormonal recently I've had a few red, horrid looking spots that I've just wanted to banish a this little palette has really helped me out.
Overall I think the Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette is absolutely fabulous and for just £5.00 you really cant go wrong, what a beauty bargain he he. The only negative I would have to say about this palette isn't about the product itself (because I loveeee it) but that there is no directions on or within the palette that explains how to use each shade, if I was a beginner to makeup I honestly wouldn't have a clue how to use this palette so it's quite lucky that I'm a makeup addict and know how to use each shade already.

What do you think of the Freedom Makeup Pro Correct Palette beaut's?? Will you be buying it?? I'd love to know.

Don't forget I'm currently giving away two Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick's, you can enter the HERE.

Today I have a very exciting post for you all. I'm pretty sure you have seen the buzz on Twitter and Instagram surrounding the gorgeous new makeup brand in town, that makeup brand being Freedom Makeup London. Freedom is described as being a professional makeup brand with high quality products at affordable prices, which is just what I bloomin' well love he he. You have probably noticed that Freedom Makeup are very similar to the much loved makeup brand Makeup Revolution, that's because they are actually created by the same people, so expect the same bargain prices as Makeup Rev but a whole new world of stunning makeup to choose from woohoo.

Anywhoooo lets get onto my first impressions of some of Freedom Makeups gorgeous new makeup items....

Pro Conceal & Correct Palette in Light* £5.00

Firstly we have the Pro Conceal & Correct Palette in Light, this little palette contains 6 rectangular shaped concealer shades that help conceal and correct your skin. All 6 of the concealers are very creamy, super blendable and the quality of the entire palette feels really good. I've been using my Pro Conceal & Correct Palette for a number of different things over the last week or so, firstly I've found the shades are great for any pin point concealing on blemishes and spots, secondly I've been using one of the shades with an angled brush to really sharpen up my winged liner and around my brows and thirdly this palette works a dream for cream highlighting. Freedom Makeup offer another 3 palette shades to choose from and I'm after one of the darker palettes next to cream contour with.

Pro Glow in Pink Cat* £2.50

Freedom Makeups Pro Glow is a multiple shade blush which helps to brighten the complexion and generally make you appear more dewy and healthy. Their are 3 other shades to collect in the Pro Glow range which are quite bronzy looking where as the shade I have 'Pink Cat' is the pinky one of the bunch. When I swatched Pink Cat I swirled my finger around the cute leopard print effect to pick up all the shades and literally fell in love with the colour, its a pinky/peach shade that has a subtle shimmer glow to it which I adore and will be perfect for wearing this summer, arrhh its such a gorgeous product.

Pro Eyebrow Kit in Medium-Dark* £3.50

The Pro Eyebrow Kit is amazing, it literally contains everything you need to achieve the perfect HD brows, theres 3 blend-able eyebrow powders which you can use alone or mix and match to create the correct shade for you, whether you want to go natural or stronger the choice is yours. Theres also an eyebrow wax which will help shape the brows and keep any pesky unruly brows at bay, a double-ended mini brush and the cutest little tweezers I've ever seen, all of which is in a convenient large mirror compact.

Pro Pink Lipstick Collection* £1.00 Each of Buy All Five For £4.00
Freedom Makeup have done a pretty amazing thing with their lippies, theres such a great selection of shades to choose from, theres wearable everyday shades to the more wacky out there shades that will certainly be a makeup artist dream and they are all just £1.00 each. Freedom Makeup have also made their lipsticks into collections of five however you only pay £4.00 which is such a bargain and basically you get a lippie for free, and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I love a free lipstick ha ha. I have the Pink Collection which is for all the girlie girls out there and ranges from baby pink, peachy pink and even a raspberry pink. I haven't tried all the shades yet but so far I've found them super creamy and moisturising and so pigmented so I'm expecting very good things from Freedom's lippies.

Pro Impact Nails Les Nudes Collection* £1.00 Each
And lastly I've been trying the Freedom Pro Impact Nails Les Nudes Collection Polishes, these are such classy, sophisticated shades that are so easy to wear. I've only managed to try 2 of the 6 shades in the Les Nudes Collection so far, the second shade on the top row which is a stunning pinky mauve and the third shade on the bottom row which is a gorgeous rose gold shade, both of which applied lovely and have a lovely formula that's opaque are 2 coats. So if your nude nail polish kinda girl then your going to have to treat yourself to this collection and at £1.00 a bottle you really cant go wrong.

Overall I'm so impressed by everything I've tried from Freedom Makeup so far, the quality of everything seems so good and the price is just incredible, I absolutely love a beauty bargain!
