Soap & Glory Get Into The Smooth Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm a HUGE Soap and Glory fan and every year when their Christmas collection launches in Boot's I can not wait to go in and see it all and this year's offerings certainly don't disappoint! I do have a couple of reviews on this years Soap and Glory gifts here and here but a few weeks ago I was actually lucky enough to win a twitter giveaway, and won the Get Into The Smooth Gift Set so I thought I'd give that a cheeky review too.

Within the Soap & Glory Get Into The Smooth Gift Set (£7.50) you get three of  Soap & Glory's best selling body buttercreams - Smoothie Star, Sugar Crush and The Righteous Butter all of which are in the 50ml size, perfect for travelling or popping into your handbag for any on the go moisturising. All of these body buttercreams have always been favourites of mine because they are luxuriously thick and creamy, so moisturising and nourishing especially if you have drier skin, which is why these are great for me because I'm a drier skinned gal and the scents are divine too and they really linger on the skin.
My personal favourite scent is Sugar Crush, this one is sugary sweet and packs a powerful lime punch, its also loaded with Shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil, a super refreshing triple whammy of lime oil, kiwi juice water, and smoothing lime tree blossom extract so as you can imagine it's a zesty one. The Righteous Butter is more girlie and has the original pink scent of sugar rose and bergamot which is lush, it has a very dry skin formula containing softening Shea butter and aloe Vera and again is perfect for the driest of skins. Finally, Smoothie Star is an almond and sweet vanilla scented body buttercream that has a lightly whipped formula and is loaded with as many moisturisers as Soap & Glory could physically pack in, it features pistachio oil, almond oil, Shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil, wowza that a lot of moisturisation there he he.
Overall I think this set is awesome and it would be the perfect gift under the tree or as a stocking filler for anyone who's either a huge Soap & Glory fan or if their new too Soap & Glory this set is a great way of being able to test out three products at once.

Will you be buying this extremely moisturising set for anyone this Christmas? I'd love to know beaut's!

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub Review

Hey beaut's!

When it comes to body care I'm quite a lazy bum! However... when I find something I really enjoy using, that doesn't break the bank, that does exactly what I'm looking for and more its a whole different story, and now that Summer is finally here and theres chance that I may be exposing more skin than usual I like to make sure I'm all exfoliated and Summer ready and that's where Soap & Glory's AMAZING Sugar Crush Body Scrub* comes in.
I'm a HUGE fan of Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush collection and was quite shocked that I hadn't reviewed their body scrub yet on my blog because I've gone through so many tubs of it, but hey ho it's better late than never I suppose he he. The Sugar Crush Body Scrub is crammed full of smashed brown sugar, macadamia grains and sea salt which all work together to gently yet effectively exfoliate and polish the skin, theres Almond Oil in there too which really nourishes and moisturises the skin leaving it silky smooth and extra soft, so say goodbye to those dry elbows and knees, flaky patches and get super prepped skin before that fake tan application too he he. Of course this body scrub has that popular Sugar Crush scent running through it which I absolutely adore, it's sugary sweet, really zingy and super fresh which I love using in the mornings to wake me up a bit and make me feel all refreshed.
I like to use the Sugar Crush Body Scrub about 2-3 times a week just to keep my skin super polished, I like to take a small hand full of the scrub and rub it in circular motions over my body focusing on my legs and my arms mostly. Afterwards I simply rinse and then wash with shower gel as normal and this will also remove any sugar granules left behind.

You can buy the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub HERE for £8.00!

Have you tried anything from Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Collection beaut's? What product is your favourite? I'd love to know.

What I Got For Christmas 2015 ♥

Hey beaut's!!!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas, I'm so sad its all over for another year but today I thought I'd join in on the 'What I Got For Christmas' bandwagon, personally I love reading these type of posts and seeing what lovely gifts everyone receives. I must have been a very good girl this year as I received lots of lovely gifts from my family, boyfriend and friends and I really am grateful and truely thankful for everything I got! Anywho lets get going...

Firstly I received some gorgeous beauty related gifts from my boyfriend Michael, we live together so he knows first hand how much I love my makeup and beauty and he certainly done well this year didn't he! Firstly he bought me one of my all time favourite perfumes Ghost Deep Night, then the Benefit Real Cheeky Party Gift Set that admittedly I've been going on about for ages, the MAC Pigments Gift Set from their Holiday Collection and the Lush Christmas Candy Box because he knows I'm obsessed with Lush and to be honest he loves a good ole Lush bath too so I'll be good and share that gift set with him he he. As well as all of those lovely gifts Michael also got me a dress which I wore Christmas day, some slippers, boots and a bobble hat all from New Look and lastly there was one big, slim box under the tree right at the back and when I quickly unwrapped it I revealed a Laptop! Yup he totally spoilt me and I'm so so lucky.
My Mum and Dad really spoilt me too and bought me some lovely gifts including the gorgeous Pandora Princess Ring which can you beleive is my very first Pandora jewellery item and I'm so so in love with it. They also got me the Soap and Glory The Zest A Girl Can Get Gift Set as my Mum knows I love Soap and Glory and the Sugar Crush scent is my favourite, they also picked me up a new Oral B Electric Toothbrush which I did actually ask for when they asked if their was anything I wanted because my one that I've had for years broke so I was desperate to get a new one. Finally my Mum bless her knows how much I love my makeup brushes and picked me up the Real Techniques Bold Metals Collection which I used for the first time yesterday and oh my goodness those brushes are like makeup brushes on steroids, they are amazing!
My girls treated me to some lovely gifts too including more Soap and Glory and The Great British Bake Off Cookbook, thank you Kates Closet he he! And my friend Amie got me a Yankee Candle Votive Cracker and Votive Holder, some So Snug Cosy Socks and a variety of M&Ms, yummy! I also received another Yankee Candle set off of my Auntie too as she knows I'm a crazy candle lady he he!
So that's most of my gorgeous gifts, my goodness I'm a lucky girl!!! I also received a tonne of chocolate and biscuits that I think will last me a lifetime ha ha and this year me and Michael received some money so I think a shopping trip will be in order very soon I'm sure!!!

What did you get for Christmas beaut's??? Leave me your links below as I'd love to see.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream | Review ♥

Hey beaut's!!!

I've got to be honest, when it comes to body care, I'm quite a lazy bum! However... when I find something I really enjoy using, that doesn't break the bank, that does exactly what I'm looking for and more its a whole different story, and with Summer on the way and the chance that I may be exposing more skin than usual I like to make sure I'm all moisturised and Summer ready and I have found something that I just adore... Say hello to Soap & Glory's Body Buttercream from the Sugar Crush Collection.
Soap & Glory's Body Buttercream is part of the popular 'Sugar Crush Collection' which consists of a Body Wash £6.50, Body Scrub £8.00 and of course the Body Buttercream £10.50 which is what I'm reviewing for you all today. Firstly let me start by saying just how amazing the Sugar Crush scent is, it's so sugary sweet and packs a powerful lime punch ha ha. Also as the body buttercream is loaded with shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil, a super refreshing triple whammy of lime oil, kiwi juice water, and smoothing lime tree blossom extract you can only imagine how nice it smells. Personally I think the citrus twist is great, it's extremely re-energising and wakes you up a treat when used in the mornings he he, I never find it overpowering or sickly either.
The body buttercreams consistency is extremely thick, actually luxuriously thick so it's fantastic for us girlie's with very dry skin, for knees and elbows and generally for any of us beaut's who want gorgeously soft, moisturised skin. I like to apply the body buttercream to slightly damp skin when I've just gotten out of the bath or shower, it just feels like such a treat and is now an automatic thing that I do straight after bathing, of course it feels just as nice to slather the buttercream onto dry skin and moisturises just as well but I just prefer rubbing it into my dry skin. As the consistency of the buttercream is so thick I did worry it would take a super long time to absorb into my skin but I was pleasantly surprised as it seems to just melt into my skin beautifully and absorbs very quickly, so thankfully you don't have to stand around for ages waiting for it to dry! The moisturising feeling doesn't wear off quick either, my skin honestly feels super soft and moisturises all through out the day and I always get hits of the Sugar Crush scent during the day to which is lovely.
Overall I absolutely love this body buttercream, its something I enjoy using and doesn't feel like a chore to apply and whether you use the Sugar Crush collection all together or separately it feels like such a treat.

Have you tried Soap & Glory's Sugar Crush Collection beaut's?? What product is your favourite?? I'd love to know.

January Favourites ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

I cant quite believe its that time again.... Monthly favourites time!!! How has the start 2014 been for you all??? I honestly cant believe how quick the time is going already, its crazy... Anywhoo today I thought I would share with you all my favourite beauty products I've been loving throughout January... So here goes.

Urban Decay 'Naked 3' Palette
Without a doubt the NAKED 3 Palette has been my ultimate January favourite, I've been using the palette everyday since I received it at Christmas as its just perfect for everyday wear and the shades are just so beautiful. You can check out my full review of this palette here.

Milani Sunset Duo's Blush & Bronzer in Sunset Breeze
I actually received this duo as a gift back in the summer last year from my friend Harriet (please check out her blog and show her some love he he) and I have recently rekindled my love for it again. The bronzer part of this duo is completely matte so its been great to use for contouring and to generally give me a nice healthy looking glow in this dull horrible weather we have in the UK at the moment, Ive also been loving the little blush part of this duo too, it's got micro glitter particles running through it so I have to use it sparingly but it gives me a nice pop of colour on the cheeks which I love.

Urban Decay Supercurl Curling Mascara

Again, like the NAKED 3 Palette this Urban Decay Mascara was another Christmas present that I've become obsessed with using. It's one of those all rounder mascara's that does everything I want and need from a mascara, it lengthens, curls, separates, theres no flaking or smudging and it doesn't budge all day, it's just perfect!!! You can check out my full review of this little beauty here.

B.Quick 4-in-1 Cleansing Wipes
I bought these wipes on a whim as they where on a half price offer, and now I absolutely love them. I only use them in the mornings just to give my skin abit of a refresh from cleansing properly the night before but they make my skin feel so clean and soft and most importantly they don't irritate my sensitive skin or make my eyes sore which most wipes do apart from the Simple ones.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub
I'm a massive Soap & Glory fan but surprisingly I hadn't tried their Sugar Crush brand until just recently and the Body Scrub in particular is amazing. It's crammed full of smashed brown sugar and macadamia grains and exfoliates the skin amazingly, Its also really zingy and fresh which I love using in the mornings to wake me up abit and make me feel all refreshed.

What's been your favourite beauty products throughout January??? I'd love to know!!!
