NEW Soap & Glory Bath Bombs and Dry Skin Balm Reviewed!

 Hey beaut's!

Soap & Glory totally win at bath and body products don't they, I mean who doesn't love to sing in the shower with a Sugar Crush shower gel and an exfoliating sesh with their Breakfast Scrub, I know I do! Lately Soap & Glory have taken things up a notch, we've recently seen them release a range of gorgeous makeup and toiletry bags and now they've only gone a bought out bath bombs and a dry skin balm, say whattttt!!!
Fizz-A-Ball Bath Bomb* £4.00 Each

The Fizz-A-Ball Bath Bombs are probably my favourite things that Soap & Glory have launched in a while, I've been waiting for them to put their incredible scents into bath bombs and finally they've gone a done it, yay. There are three bath bombs in the Fizz-A-Ball Collection - the Original Pink scent of rose and bergamot for a pure pampering bath, Smoothie Star with a sweet vanilla musk scent for a relaxing bath and Sugar Crush with a sweet lime zest scent for an uplifting bath. I've actually tried the Original Pink and the Smoothie Star bath bombs and both are so lovely and definitely follow the same scents of the shower gels and scrubs, each bath bomb is a decent size - I'd say the same size as a round Lush bath bomb like sex bomb or dragons egg, and they fizz away really well leaving the water a baby pink colour with silver glitters running through it. If you love a good bath and pamper session and are a fan of all things Soap & Glory then you HAVE to give one of these bath bombs a try, what more could you want on a cold Autumnal evening than to pop one of these beauties into the tub and relax!
Melty Talented* £5.00

Melty Talented is a dry skin balm that can be used in a multitude of ways, whether you have dry lips, nails, knees, elbows, hair tips or basically anywhere that feels like it needs a moisture boost this little balm will lend a helping hand! The formula itself contains coconut and almond oil, mango butter and vitamin e so as you can imagine it's so nourishing and smells incredibly good (just like coconuts), it does have an oily texture as your working it in but that soon sinks in a feels lovely! I also love the fact it comes in a handy little tin because it fit's into my handbag perfectly and can keep me moisturised on the go!

You can find the Fizz-A-Ball Bath Bombs HERE and the Melty Talented Dry Skin Balm HERE at Boots!

Soap & Glory Get Into The Smooth Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

I'm a HUGE Soap and Glory fan and every year when their Christmas collection launches in Boot's I can not wait to go in and see it all and this year's offerings certainly don't disappoint! I do have a couple of reviews on this years Soap and Glory gifts here and here but a few weeks ago I was actually lucky enough to win a twitter giveaway, and won the Get Into The Smooth Gift Set so I thought I'd give that a cheeky review too.

Within the Soap & Glory Get Into The Smooth Gift Set (£7.50) you get three of  Soap & Glory's best selling body buttercreams - Smoothie Star, Sugar Crush and The Righteous Butter all of which are in the 50ml size, perfect for travelling or popping into your handbag for any on the go moisturising. All of these body buttercreams have always been favourites of mine because they are luxuriously thick and creamy, so moisturising and nourishing especially if you have drier skin, which is why these are great for me because I'm a drier skinned gal and the scents are divine too and they really linger on the skin.
My personal favourite scent is Sugar Crush, this one is sugary sweet and packs a powerful lime punch, its also loaded with Shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil, a super refreshing triple whammy of lime oil, kiwi juice water, and smoothing lime tree blossom extract so as you can imagine it's a zesty one. The Righteous Butter is more girlie and has the original pink scent of sugar rose and bergamot which is lush, it has a very dry skin formula containing softening Shea butter and aloe Vera and again is perfect for the driest of skins. Finally, Smoothie Star is an almond and sweet vanilla scented body buttercream that has a lightly whipped formula and is loaded with as many moisturisers as Soap & Glory could physically pack in, it features pistachio oil, almond oil, Shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil, wowza that a lot of moisturisation there he he.
Overall I think this set is awesome and it would be the perfect gift under the tree or as a stocking filler for anyone who's either a huge Soap & Glory fan or if their new too Soap & Glory this set is a great way of being able to test out three products at once.

Will you be buying this extremely moisturising set for anyone this Christmas? I'd love to know beaut's!

Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Breakfeast Scrub | Review

Hey beaut's!

Ive really been getting back into my body care recently... Yup, I'm guilty of being a lazy bum when it comes to body care and it's not until the weather starts warming up abit that I start getting back into having silky soft, moisturised skin, and a great way to start is by prepping your skin with a gorgeous body scrub... So say hello to Soap & Glory's Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub!
Soap & Glory's Breakfast Scrub is part of the award winning 'Smoothie Star Collection' which consists of a Body Milk £10.00, Body Buttercream £10.50 and of course the Body Scrub £8.00 which is what I'm reviewing for you all today. I must admit the Breakfast Scrub has been a favourite of mine for years so I noticed straight away that they've renamed it slightly by adding 'Smoothie Star' and changed the packaging too, not to mention they've now added an all new maple fragrance, yum! This must of happened quite recently as it wasn't like that the last time I bought a tub. Anywhooo... Let me start by saying how amazing the Breakfast Scrub scent is.... Honey, banana, golden sugar, natural cupuaçu bio scrubs (from the cupuaçu tree, part of the cocoa family), oatmeal, almonds and shea butter are all ingredients that make up this scrub and oh my goodness, just imagine the smell of yummy pancakes in the morning drizzled with either golden syrup or maple syrup and wham, that's your scent! It literally smells so good I could eat it, don't worry as temping as it is I have not tried it ha ha.
The breakfast scrubs consistency is quite thick and slightly sticky at first but is fine once you work it over your skin, and is crammed full with the perfect sized scrub granules, I am usually quite fussy when it comes to a body scrubs texture, I don't like them to be too abrasive so that your skin is left all red yet a like it slightly gritty so you can actually feel it doing something and Soap & Glory have it spot on, it mostly feels like sugar granules with some sea salt granules popped in for good measure, it just feels like what I expect from the perfect body scrub to be honest.
The way I like to use the scrub is by getting a small handful of the scrub, rub it between the palms of my hands and then rub in circular motions all over my damp skin, paying attention to my most dry areas like my knees and elbows etc. As I said before the scrub does feel slightly sticky when you first get a generous handful out of the tub but as it washes off it turns into what I'd call a milky formula. Afterwards my skin feels super soft, perfectly polished and smelling insane, yup that gorgeous scent does linger on your skin aarrhhhh!!

Overall I absolutely love this scrub and will definitely continue to repurchase over and over. It's great for prepping your skin for summer or if you need a good exfoliate before fake tanning this would work amazingly. I also love that the breakfast scrub doesn't over exfoliate nor does it dry my skin out with is a major plus, it's just perfect.

You can get a massive 300ml tub of the 'Smoothie Star' Breakfast Scrub for £8.00 from Boots and Soap & Glory are always on a 3 for 2 offer too so you can really indulge if you like!

Have you tried this gorgeous scrub?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!
