Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara Review

Hey beaut's!

Back in March whilst browsing in Superdrug before I started work - ya know as you do - I happened to see all of the Tanya Burr makeup was reduced including her latest 'Selfie' collection, I had wanted to try the Selfie Collection for a while but the price and the fact I always find Tanya's makeup to be a bit hit and miss put me off but when I saw that the mascara was just £3.99 I just had to try it, I also grabbed the brow pencil too for just 99p, what a bargain!
As I said before I've always found Tanya's makeup pretty hit and miss and in all honesty I wasn't expecting much at all from this mascara, it claimed to achieve the perfect selfie-ready look with drama and separation but that's all I could find on this beauty before trying it, so their wasn't any super bold claims here. The mascara itself comes in gold and black packaging which I really like, it also looks super pretty rolling around on my dressing table which is always a bonus he he. The wand is long, thin and rubberised with quite spiky bristles, I've always said I'm not the biggest fan of rubber/plastic wands but this one isn't too bad all at, although it is quite bendy (I'm guessing with the intention to get to hard to reach lashes) and I have had a couple of mishaps during application where it's bended into my eye slightly so just be cautious of that!
The formula of the Selfie Lash mascara is really nice, it's super black, very lightweight on the lashes and doesn't dry hard. It applies so well and is mega buildable, you can literally pop coat upon coat of this stuff on without a single clump in sight and I love that, it allows you to have your lashes more natural with one or two coats or you can really build up to a dramatic look. I like my lashes to be quite long and lifted and this mascara achieves that well after around 3 coats, it separates my lashes too which gives a fluttery effect and this stuff lasts like no other, I cant actually believe that it doesn't flake, smudge or transfer because that's exactly what I was expecting to be honest. I can literally put this on a 7am before work and when I take it off at 8pm it's still standing strong, it's bloody amazing!
Overall I really cant recommend this mascara enough, if your looking for something to lengthen, separate and lift your lashes without a single clump, smudge or flake in sight then Selfie Lash could be the one for you. As far as I'm aware all Superdrug stores have reduced Tanya's makeup to clear for some reason, I'm not sure if everything is being repackaged as I cant find anything about it online, however you can still find the Selfie Lash Mascara on Feel Unique for £5.95.
