MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter | Review ♥

 Hey beaut's!

Finally... After months of waiting, lusting and craving the MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter is now mine, woohoo. This highlighter must be the best highlighter in the world as I've been trying to buy it since before Christmas and no matter what Superdrug I go in it's always sold out. This honestly feels like finding willy wonka's golden ticket ha ha, it's just so precious. The highlighter itself comes from MUA's 'Undress You Skin' collection which consists of a Flawless Primer, Illuminating Foundation, Radiant Under Eye Concealer and of course the gorgeous Highlighting Powder, they all have the same claim, to give us a flawless, radiant complexion, oohhh!
The Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (£3.00) comes housed in sturdy plastic packaging, with the base of the compact being white and the lift up lid being transparent and holds 7.5 grams of product. The highlighter looks rather impressive in the pan, it has a wavy/swirly effect that really does look too pretty to put a brush in and use he he.
The Highlighting Powder is a lightweight baked powder that's packed full of pigment and is designed to provide a radiant soft-focus effect to transform your complexion with luminescence shimmer, I like the sound of that ha ha. The shade of the highlighter is a gorgeous pearly, pinky silver which is a shade I don't own amongst my other powder highlighters so it's nice to have something slightly different to try. The highlighter blends out lovely and sits on the skin beautifully, its so subtle and natural looking when blended over the skin however it does contain some ever so slight shimmery particles but nothing to over the top or disco ball like thank goodness. The way I like to use and apply the highlighter is buy swirling my Real Techniques Setting Brush in the pan, tapping off the excess and popping the highlighter on my brow bones, cheeks bones, down my nose, on my cupids bow and something I've been addicted to doing whilst using this highlighter is taking a small brush and applying some of the powder onto my inner corners of my eyes to brighten them up, it looks so pretty and really does finish off any makeup look perfectly. It lasts on my skin a good 5 hours or so, before I notice that I could apply some more which given what a bargain it is isn't bad at all.
Overall I absolutely love this highlighter and I'm so happy I finally managed to get my hands on it. I mean whats not to love, it looks super pretty in the packaging and on the skin, it's blends out lovely, works well on all the areas I like to highlight and is an absolute bargain at just £3.00.

Have you tried this highlighter yet beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know.

  1. I'm on the hunt for a nice highlighter so might have to take a look at this one. It looks a bit too shimmery for me maybe but that could just be the lighting. I like that's a pink shade though! :) x

  4. That looks super pretty! The packaging looks kinda cheap, but the product looks amazing! I bet it would make an amazing eye shadow too, especially as a base for glitter maybe?
