Nuxe Best-Seller Christmas Gift Set Review

Hey beaut's!

Today I have a gorgeous Christmas gift set to share with you by the luxurious French skincare brand Nuxe, this set would not only go down an absolute treat with any skincare or indeed Nuxe lover but it's also a great way to introduce someone to the brand and the world of luxury skincare.
As the name would suggest the Nuxe Best Seller Gift Set* (£20.00) contains a trio of Nuxe's best selling products which will thoroughly pampered the skin this festive season. Firstly theres the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Golden Dry Oil (50ml) - This is a really popular, iconic oil which is enriched with a gorgeous blend of plant oils that nourishes, softens and illuminates the face, body and hair all in one go. I've been using this oil since the very second I got it and honestly it works wonders, and anyone with dry skin like myself will really benefit from it because it's so nourishing. As this is a golden oil it does contain tiny shimmering mineral particles which give radiance to the skin and hair for a healthier, glowing look. I can see this bottle lasting such a long time because the smallest amount of this oil goes such a long way.
Also in the set is the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Honey Lip Balm (15g) - This lip balm contains a combination of honey, plant oils, shea butter and grapefruit that all work together to nourish, repair, soothe and protect even the driest and most damaged lips. This stuff is honestly like magic for my lips, at this time of the year pretty much nothing helps my lips but this lip balm by Nuxe has really worked and impressed me a lot, it's so moisturising and feels so smooth in the lips and the taste and scent of grapefruit is such a nice treat. Finally and completing this set is the Nuxe Prodigieux Precious Scented Shower Oil (30ml) - This shower gel actually has an oil-gel formula and is infused with a beautiful sunshine scent and golden shimmer. Now when I saw that this shower oil contained shimmer I was slightly weary because I thought I was going to come out of the shower looking like a disco ball however... the shimmer is actually really subtle and delicate, great to use over the festive season for sure.
Overall I think this is such a lovely gift and definitely something any skin care lover would adore, it's such great value too at just £20.00 for the set which for luxury skincare really is a bargain.

You can find the Nuxe Best-Seller Christmas Gift Set (£20.00) on the Escentual website HERE.

Beauty Christmas Crackers 2016

Hey beaut's!

Their are sooooo many beauty Christmas crackers out this year, brands have seriously upped their game and I'm loving them all so much that I just had to share my top picks with you all today. Personally I think beauty crackers work amazingly well as stocking fillers or for secret Santa gifts, their all super festive because of their cracker design, reasonably priced and still great little gifts at the same time that most beauty lovers would enjoy. I also love how you can now get full boxes of crackers too, I think these are great if your hosting a Christmas meal with your best friends a bit before Christmas, they just make such a nice change to normal crackers done they. My favourites out of this bunch would have to be the Essie nail polish cracker and the Soap and Glory set of crackers. The Essie cracker contains four full size nail polishes in gorgeous wintry shades perfect for the festive/party season, theres even a glitter shade within the four too, and the Soap and Glory set contains 6 crackers with a mini Soap and Glory favourite inside, theres a mini hand cream, foot cream, a couple of shower gels, a body scrub and a body butter, how amazing is that!

October Glossybox Review | Pop Art Collector's Edition

Hey beaut's!

So its that time again... Glossybox time!!! This months 'Pop Art' themed box is certainly an eye catching one, I mean just look at it he he, I love it! I also noticed again this month that  Glossybox have not only decided to just ditch the monthly glossy magazine but they've now ditched the product card too, I actually received mine as an email instead of in my actual box which seems abit bizarre, but I guess it means less waste and all that jazz he he.

Anywhoo lets see what I received inside my 'Pop Art' Glossybox...

Nuxe Creme Fraiche® De Beaute Mask | Full Size | £19.50
Nuxe is a brand we seem to see alot of in Glossybox but usually its in the form of those dreaded oils that I never get on with, so the fact that this month we have a full size face mask to play with makes me very happy he he. The mask is described as a 24hr moisturising mask which hydrates and soothes the skin, instantly reducing discomfort and redness, and leaves the skin looking radiant and relaxed, arrhh I cant wait to give this a go.

Etre Belle Cosmetics Lip Lift Peel | Full Size | £12.95
When I saw that this little product was called a lip lift peel I was a little scared ha ha, but in actual fact its a lip exfoliator, which always comes in handy especially at this time of the year when my lips need a little extra TLC. All you have to do to use the Lip Lift Peel is massage a small amount on the lip area in gentle circular motions. After one minute, thoroughly remove with a dampened cotton pad. The gentle formula is said to remove dead cells and refines the skin’s surface for perfectly soft lips, lovely!

So Susan Cosmetics Flutter Mascara | Full Size | £14.95
I'm really excited to try this So Susan Flutter Mascara, I mean fluttery eye lashes sounds lush doesn't it. The intense carbon-black mascara is said to be formulated with hyaluronic spheres which help you achieve the darkest, curviest lashes possible.

Ciate Nail Polish in Talent Scout | Full Size | £9.00
I love Ciate nail polishes, the formula and quality is just so good not to mention how pretty the bottles look on my dressing table he he. The shade I got is perfect for this time of year and I can see myself using it alot over the next couple of months.

Yves Rocher Quelques Notes d'Amour Perfume | Sample | £33 for 30ml
Uhhh perfume samples always annoy me in beauty boxes but at least this Yves Rocher offering is in a mini 5ml bottle instead of those 1.5ml tubes we usually get. It smells nice so I'll definitely use it up but it really does annoy me when we get perfume samples.

Rimmel London BB Cream Matte in Light | Sample | £6.99 for 30ml
This multitasking 9-in-1 skin perfecting makeup cream by Rimmel has a natural formula which contains kaolin, witch hazel and salicylic acid for a flawless matte look. I don't really know if I'll get much use out of this because I have dry skin, so anything mattifying is a no go for me, It looks like a great little BB cream though.

Overall I absolutely love this months box, I love the fact we got so many full size products and the 2 little sample aren't that bad either, if I had an oily or normal skin type I would of loved the BB Cream too, all in all another great box from Glossybox, woohoo!

What did you think of this month's box beaut's?? I'd love to know.

Glossybox June 2013 | Review

After coming home from work on Saturday to see my Glossy box had been delivered i was super excited but..... if I'm being totally honest my excitement was short lived as I'm not that impressed with this months box atall. There's only 2 things in this months that I'm excited to try and know i will use hhhmmm, anyway on to what was inside.

Figs & Rouge Coco Rose Lip Balm Rrp £5.00

I'm super happy i got this as not only do i love Figs & Rouge as a brand but i love the fact that their products are 100% Natural. I adore the packaging, not only is it super cute but its really convenient too as i hate putting my fingers into those tinned lip balms so this is definitely the hygienic option. The lip balm itself is lovely and moisturising and provides you with a light tint to the lips, it also smells lush.

Helen E Cosmetics Shimmering Eye Powder In Shade 26 Rrp £5.00

I wasn't really jumping for joy when i saw this as i don't really like Helen E products, i don't  find the quality to be that good and the packaging is awful too. The eye shimmer itself is quite pigmented but i don't see how this fits into the 'Summer' theme that Glossy box have gone for this month, its a very dark slightly duo chromed blue/dark grey which isn't my cup of tea I'm afraid.

Nux Huile Prodigieuse OR Rrp £34.00

Another product that I'm not that crazy about, I've never really got into the whole dry oil craze as i really do hate how they feel on my skin. I did pop a small amount of this multi purpose oil on the back of my hand just to see what it was like, it added a slight golden glow to my skin but wasn't shimmery or glittery what so ever, even though it appears to look very shimmery in the bottle. It's probably great for someone who enjoys oils but sadly i don't.

Mememe Long Lasting Nail Gloss In 67 Graceful Rrp £5.00

The colour of this really lets it down for me unfortunately, its a real nude pinkish colour which would be OK for french manicures but i have very small short nails so i could never have a french manicure on my natural nails. I think if the colour would of been a spring/summer shade it would have been perfect.

Monu Hydrating Moisturiser Rrp £29.95

Finally something i actually like ha ha. This moisturiser is lovely and also has the added bonus of SPF 15 which i thought was good. I found it sat really nicely under my foundation and didn't slip at all, it also smells really fresh which i love. I also thought the sample size of 30ml was really generous considering the full size is 50ml so that's a little Brucie bonus.

On a whole i think this months box was pretty pants when you compare it to previous boxes, I'm hoping this is just a blip and Glossy box will be back on form next month.

What did you think to this months box girlie's???

Love Hayley xXxXx
