Birchbox November 2013

Hey girlie's!!!

It's that time again... Birchbox time!!!! Ha ha... I was really looking forward to receiving this months box as this is just my second Birchbox after I unsubscribed from Glossy box, so I'm still getting used to it, I absolutely loved last months box which was my first box and I have to say I love this months box too, woohoo I'm one happy Hayley!!!

Anywhooo onto the little treats I received inside my November Birchbox...

Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara
If lasts months Laura Mercier treat wasn't enough, Birchbox have now thrown in the Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara!!! The mascara claims to be smudge free and lengthening for a wide eyed, fluttery look, sounds fabulous doesn't it? The wand itself is very slim so I think its going to be great to get to those hard to reach lashes and will be great for the lower lashes too. Im super exciting to try the mascara that's for sure, it feels like such a treat so thank you Birchbox. The full size of the mascara retails for £18.50.

Chella Highlighter Pencil 1.4g
I must admit I've never heard of Chella before, but I'm really happy I got their Ivory Lace Highlighter. You can use the highlighter pencil on your brow bone, cheekbones and the inner corners of your eyes but what I particularly like to use the pencil for is on the waterline to give you that natural awakened eye look, I did this straight away after opening my box and loved it, obviously with it being a highlighter your probably not suppose to use it on your waterline but it worked fine on me with no reaction, I do love getting the most out of my products ha ha. The highlighter pencil retails for £15.95.

Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Lotion 30ml
Ive heard alot about Molton Brown but I've never tried anything from them but I'm looking forward to giving their newly reformulated body lotion a go, it smells amazing and is great for this time of year, as we all need a nice body moisturiser in the winter months. The full size of the body lotion retails for £18.00.

Weleda Replenishing Oat Shampoo 18ml
Another product I'm super excited to try is the gentle replenishing oat shampoo, the shampoo contains nourishing organic jojoba oil which will smooth, reduce breakage and improve suppleness. I'm really expected good things for the shampoo as I've tried Weleda products in the past and loved them. The full size of the shampoo retails for £8.95.

English Laundry Eau De Parfum 2ml
I must admit I did do abit of a grumpy huff when I saw a perfume sample in my Birchbox, perfume samples do usually annoy me however this one from Christopher Wicks smells gorgeous, its notes include quince, jasmine petals and musk. The full size of the perfume retails from £16.00.

Lifestyle Extra- Pukka Herbs Selection Of Teas
I love the little extras Birchbox throw in, to me it just seems like your getting alot more for your money which is always good. This months lifestyle extra is very appropriate for this time of year as its a selections of Pukka Herbs Tea, I received the three cinnamon tea, perfect for the Autumn/Winter, the gorgeous earl grey tea and the elderberry & echinacea tea, all of which are organic. I'm definitely putting the kettle on in a minute he he. The Pukka Herbs Tea retails for £2.29.

Beauty Goodie- Birchbox Pencil Sharpener
I was so happy to see this little sharpener in my Birchbox as it's just what I needed. I haven't got a pencil sharpener big enough for my chubby style eyeshadow crayons as I just haven't got round to buying one and its been so frustrating, I'm over the moon now as I can sharpen until my hearts content ha ha.

Overall I'm super happy with the contents of my second Birchbox , every single thing in my box I like and I know I will get use out of everything too.

What did you get in your Birchbox this month girlie's??? I'd love to know.

St Grape Product Review + Giveaway Information

Hey girlie's!!!

Today I'm back with an exciting review on some gorgeous products from St Grape*. St Grape are a Canadian brand that thrive in producing natural skincare products which are all handmade using the ancient processes. If you have sensitive skin there really is no need to worry as St Grape promote healthy skin so their products will help sooth and condition dry sensitive skin including eczema and psoriasis.

I firstly have to touch upon the packaging of the St Grape skincare products, Its absolutely beautiful. You can really tell each product has had alot of thought going into its packaging whether its been dressed with a bow or has been wrapped in gorgeous floral paper, each product has something to offer with its packaging. Even just to look at, these look like beautiful gifts, perfect for Christmas that is fast approaching!!!

Now onto my thoughts of the St Grape products...

Exotic Soaking Salt 600g*

How pretty does the Exotic Soaking Salts look, firstly the salts are baby pink so I'm completely sold just by that factor ha ha. The salts are 100% natural, enriched with pure essential oils and are made with Himalayan mineral pink sand which is the purest form of salt on earth, wowza!!! What I love about the Exotic Soaking Salts is that they can be used in a few different ways, which is always a bonus for me as I love a multi use product. Firstly you can pop 3 cups of the salts into your bath water if you want a calming, soothing bath, this is great for tired/aching muscles, also if you have trouble sleeping using these salts in a bath before bed can really relax you. You can also pop 1 cup of the salts into a foot bowl and soak your tired aching feet for around 20 minuets, personally I love this method as I'm constantly on my feet at work. Lastly you can use it for massage purposes, simply fill the little drawstring bag provided with the salts, wet the bag and massage over your whole body with the bag, it feels amazingggg!!!! As for the salts scent... It has a very strong minty menthol fragrance, great for any of those winter colds and blocked noses as it really does clear everything. The 600g bottle of the Exotic Soaking Salts retails for £15.00.

Ancient Foot Scrub 500g*

A foot scrub is something I've never really used before but after using St Grapes Ancient Foot Scrub I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. The scrub itself is made up of sea salt granules and natural essential oils, it feels quite dry in the tub but once you start using it on your feet the oil disperses leaving your feet feeling soft, soothed and relaxed. Like all of the St Grape products the smell is just incredible, it has strong luxurious soapy scent that lingers for a super long time. The scrub is really easy to use, simply moisten your feet then rub the scrub all over and rinse off with warm water, I personally love using the foot scrub after I've soaked my feet in the salts, it honestly feels like a spa treatment at home. The 550g tub of the Ancient Foot Scrub retails for £25.00.

Aqua Bliss Bath Scrub 150g*

I literally adore St Grape's Aqua Bliss Bath Scrub, it feels like such a treat. When you pop the scrub into your hand it feels slightly like wet sand in texture and is very gentle with no harsh, sharp scrub particles inside, the texture of the of the scrub as you scrub it over skin is very light, not too abrasive yet it still feels like your giving your skin a good exfoliate, afterwards your skin is left feeling super soft and polished. The smell of the scrub, well..... Its gorgeous, it has quite a strong soapy scent that lingers on your skin for ages afterwards. Its great if your using the scrub in the bath too as when you rinse you skin free from the scrub it leaves your bath water slightly bubbly and the scrubs scent stays in your bath water, its honestly like heaven. The 150g tub of the Aqua Bliss Bath Scrub retails for £12.00.

Invisable Skin Massage Oil 120ml*

I was super excited to try the Invisible Skin Massage Oil as I've really been getting into oils at the moment. Ive actually been using the Massage Oil as more of an luxurious body oil/moisturiser as its fair to say my boyfriend is rubbish at massages ha ha. I love the fact that the Massage Oil is 100% organic, its also enriched with pure essential oils and leaves you with an immediate moisturising feeling, its super silky lightweight formula leaves your skin feeling so supple and smooth with its citrus scent left lingering. I also found a little bit of the massage oil really does go a long way so the bottle is going to last you quite some time and isn't wasteful at all. The 120ml bottle of the Invisible Skin Massage Oil retails for £25.00.

Overall I absolutely love all four products I've been road testing, they have all fast become products I use more or less on a daily basis. Each product feels super luxurious, spa like, very high end and alot more expensive than they actually are. I love how every product I tried left a gorgeous lingering scent on my skin, even my boyfriend commented on how lovely I smelt after using the products. They are all packaged beautifully and not to mention they look gorgeous sitting in your bathroom too. They honestly feel like an absolute treat to use and I would highly recommend St Grape if your looking to have girly pamper nights, if you want to sooth tired aching muscles or like I've mentioned before they make lovely gifts.

You can buy all of the St Grape products I've reviewed in this post plus many more skincare products on the St Grape website .

Have you tried anything skincare products from St Grape before??? What did you think??? I'd love to know.

Primark Haul | November 2013 ♥

Hey girlie's!!!

Recently I went out to do abit of Christmas shopping and surprise, surprise I just couldn't resist having a snoop around in Primark for myself!!! As everyone loves a good ole Primark haul I thought I'd share with you all what lovelies the few things I picked up!!!

Eyelash Wine Cardigan £12.00

This cardigan has to be the softest most snugly cardigan ever!!! I love the fact it's also slightly over sized, I don't know about anyone else but I always like my winter jumpers and cardigans to be that little bit bigger. I just think the colour of this cardigan is gorgeous and would spruce up a boring outfit a treat. Primark have this cardigan is loads of different colours too so theres a shade for everyone.

Faux Leather Collar Jumper £12.00

I practically sprinted to this jumper when I saw it, I love it so much!!! I think this will look super cute tucked into a little skirt with tights and I've already tried this on with some jeans and popped my Black blazer over the top and it looked great and was so so warm!!! They also has this in a festive green shade but obviously I went with the wine shade as its my favourite winter colour.

Festive Cosy Footlets £2.50

How stinking cute are these little slippers, they are so cosy and warm its unbelievable, they also have the matching nightwear to go with them but I bought some from Primark last year that are identical so decided not to get the nightwear. If you like little footlet slippers as much as I do then be warned, Primark have loads of cute designs, I wanted them all!!!

Christmas Printed Fleece Throw £5.00

I needed a nice fleecy throw to wrap up in when I'm just chilling on the sofa watching my soaps and this one was just too cute to leave, I must admit Primark do the best festive bits and bobs ever!!! This will also be fab to throw over my sofa when my Christmas decorations go up, making my lounge extra festive!!! They also have cushions in the exact same design which I will be going back for very soon he he.

Over The Knee Socks £2.50 Each

I love knee high socks in the winter, they are perfect to just scrunch down so they just pop out of the top of your ankle boots. I needed a couple of new pairs so I just grabbed a grey pair and an extra thick cream pair.

Red Cushions 2 Pack £7.00

There's nothing really exciting to say about these cushions apart from I needed some more 'scatter' cushions for my sofa's ha ha.

I did get 2 large bags worth of stuff from Primark but the other bits where for my boyfriend and I picked up a few cute Christmas prezzies too which I cant show in case some sneaky peeking eye see them he he. I honestly could have spent an absolute fortune in Primark this week if they had my size in everything I liked, they had so much nice new stock in.

Have you been to Primark recently girlie's??? I'd love to know!!!
