August Non Beauty Favourites

Hey beaut's!

Can you believe I haven't done a non beauty favourites since May... I know, naughty Hayley! Anywho theres been quite a few things I've loved throughout August non beauty wise so I thought I'd share them with you all today!

Stranger Things

Firstly I have been obsessed with the Netflix series Stranger Things, I've actually finished the first season now and wow, I loved it! For those of you who haven't seen it, it's a thrilling drama which is set in 1983 where a lady named Joyce 12-year-old son goes missing, she then launches a terrifying investigation into his disappearance with the local authorities. As they search for answers, they unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries involving secret government experiments, unnerving supernatural forces, and a very unusual little girl. It has a slight goonies feel whilst also being slightly creepy but  I was absolutely hooked from the very first episode, I would highly recommend giving it a go if you haven't already!

My Birthday

It was my birthday on the 31st of August so naturally I had to include it in my favourites. I honestly had the best birthday this year even though I was dreading being another year older. I got totally spoilt by my boyfriend, friends and family and it was actually a magical day! Anddd for once it was hot and sunny on my birthday, usually it pours with rain so I was lucky this year!

The Great British Bake Off

Arhhh the bake off...How I love the bake off, it's literally one of my favourite TV shows and I'm so happy it's back! We've had cake week and biscuit week so far which where brilliant and had me drooling, I cant wait for the rest of the episodes now!

Day at the Races

My final favourite was my day at the races with my girls Amie and Kate from Kates Closet. On the 26th August we went to Newmarket race course which isn't too far from home to enjoy the races and Little Mix concert, and aside from my birthday I have to say this was one of my favourite days in August as well as this year. We had so much fun, the atmosphere was electric, Little Mix where amazing live, the weather was warm and dry and I even won £50 on my very first bet at the actual races, all in all it was an amazing day that I'll certainly treasure!

May Non Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

You may remember that last year I added a new little monthly feature to my blog in the shape of non beauty favourites, and silly me I didn't keep up with it, so I thought it was about time I got back on the non beauty favourites waggon he he.

The Walking Dead

I think my absolute favourite this month has to be The Walking Dead! After the shocking cliff hanger at the end of season 6 I had no idea how to cope without any Walking Dead in my life until October, so I thought I would re watch all of the seasons in the hope that they would tide me over until the new season starts however... A month late and I have finished the entire six seasons again, theres literally something about The Walking Dead that just has me hooked, it's definitely my favourite TV show for sure, roll on October for season 7!
Skinny Dip Beetle Phone Case

 My second non beauty favourite this month has to be my new phone case from Skinny Dip! It's a holographic case that turns into so many different metallic colours when you move it and the light catches it, it goes blue, purple, rose gold, green, pink you name it, it's so pretty and I'm obsessed with it at the moment!

Snapchat

I was slightly late on the Snapchat bandwagon but now I'm rather addicted, I honestly cant tell you why but I am just obsessed and have been using it a lot during  May! H&M Heart Shaped Sunglasses

Can we take a moment to appciate how gorgeous these sunglasses are.... I wanted a pair of heart shaped sunglasses so badly last year but couldn't find a pair a truly liked until this year when I spotted H&M had some in their Coachella festival range so I bought them immediately! I love these so much and have been wearing them at every opportunity I can he he!

Pinterest

I feel like I've finally found my feet on Pinterest, I absolutely love it and I've become rather addicted over the last few months. I could literally spend hours looking through and pining all the gorgeous pictures of different varieties, I especially love the baking and cooking ones at the moment. The Big Bang Theory

Since finishing The Walking Dead I've been watching The Big Bang Theory from the beginning and oh my goodness it doesn't matter how many times I've watched an episode it just has me in absolute stitches! Sheldon literally makes the show for me, hes so funny and cracks me up constantly, honestly beaut's if you haven't watched this show before your seriously missing out!

October 2015 Non Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

I cant believe its favourites time already, where are the days, weeks and months going, it's crazy! I must admit I'm absolutely loving this time of the year and I actually hate how fast it's going, I seem to literally embrace all things Autumn/Winter so much that I just want it to all last longer hehe. Anywhooo onto my current lifestyle favourites....

Christmas Catalogues

I'm kicking my October non beauty favourites off with Christmas Catalogues, I just love them! I get sooooo excited when I start seeing these out in the shops because you then know Christmas is well and truly on it's way and that the shops have started stocking pretty gifts. Who else circles everything that they like the look off and then casually leaves the books open around the house he he, I do!

Pumpkin Picking

I love going Pumpkin picking and oddly it's only become a tradition for us over the last couple of years but I always look forward to going now. I just love buying all the unusual pumpkins and gourds that you cant find anywhere else and then going home and decorating my living room with them for Halloween. 

Carving Our Pumpkins

I always looks forward to carving our pumpkins and I'm so happy with how ours turned out this year, I done the witch and my boyfriend Michael done Frankenstein and the general pumpkin face, it was so much fun although I do hate the 'empting it out' part where the seeds fly everywhere and the wet, stringy pumpkin gunk sticks to your hands and arms, uuhhh gross!

Adele - Hello

Shes back, yessssssss! I absolutely love Adele and have been waiting patiently for her comeback for so long, I love her new single Hello and have it constantly on repeat in my house at the moment. Bring on the release of her new album, I bet it will be so good!

One Tree Hill

Arrhhh One Tree Hill is probably my favourite TV show ever!!! Even though series nine, which finished a few years ago, was the last in the series it hasn't stopped me getting my box sets out and watching them a lot recently. I love nothing more that getting into bed nice and early all snuggled up and having a One Tree Hill marathon, and Autumn/Winter is certainly the perfect time to do just that!!!

Pretty Little Liars

Got a secret, Can you keep it? He he... Pretty Little Liars is by far my most favourite thing in August, I saw everyone on Twitter talking about the show and having never watched it before I wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I started watching the very first season a few weeks ago and now I'm hooked, yup I love it! I'm now half way through season 2 and so far have avoided all the spoilers after A was revealed a few weeks ago in the current season, so please nobody ruin it for me he he.

My Birthday

It was my birthday on the 31st of August and even though I do hate being a year older I absolutely loved my birthday. My day was spent all snuggled up in the warm because of the weather, our plans to go into Norwich for the day where squashed by the torrential rain so instead it was a day filled with movies, Monopoly, food and lots of birthday cake, all with the people I loved the most! 

We ♥ It App

I'm absolutely addicted to the We ♥ it app on my phone, I could literally spend hours upon hours scrolling through all the pretty pictures and quotes. I guess you could say it's slightly like Pinterest but instead of pinning things and making boards you 'heart' the pictures you like and they will be added to your canvas and you can post them on your social media until your hearts content, never the less it's a cute little app that I love!

Liquid Glitter and Star iPhone Case

Just look at how pretty my phone case is, arrrhhh I love it so much. I first saw the liquid glitter phone cases agessss ago when I was watching a YouTuber and back then they where quite pricey but I recently had a look on eBay and got this one for just over £3.00 including the postage which I thought was amazing! I'm so happy with it and I could literally spend hours tilting it at every angle watching all the silver glitter and hot pink stars floating around, it definitely worth every penny if you look all things sparkly like I do.

February Non Beauty Favourites ♥

 Anyway lets get down to business ha ha.....

Eastenders

 I'm pretty sure every ones been glued to Eastender's recently, the 'Who Killed Lucy' storyline has been going on for nearly a year and finally during their 30th Anniversary and Live Week we found out it was..... Bobby! I have literally been saying for the last few weeks that I thought Jane was covering up for Bobby, I cant wait to see where the storyline goes from here, also who else was in complete shock when Cathy stepped out of that Black cab!!  

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

This month was a very good month indeed because my local Tesco have started selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts! I cant tell you how many years I've actually wanted to devourer a Krispy Kreme Doughnut, so you can imagine how excited I got when the word got out that my Tesco store had started stocking them. I literally sprinted out to get my first pack and they may have been pricey but they are oh so worth it, so thank you Tesco ha ha.

If I'm being honest I'm not a huge book reader, but when I heard Tanya Burr was releasing a book covering lifestyle, beauty and baking I knew it would be right up my street and I would just have to buy a copy, I mean beauty and baking all in one book... I'm sold ha ha! So far I'm really been enjoying the book, it's definitely more suited to my age as most Youtubers bring out books that are more targeted towards the younger generation, it's been so nice to read more about Tanya's life aswell as makeup, beauty and baking too. I will be doing a full review on the book so keep your eyes peeled for that beaut's! 

Breaking Bad

I know, I know I'm very late to the Breaking Bad party ha ha... Me and my boyfriend always like to have snugly nights where we watch a TV series and we usually end up staying up ridiculously late if we get hooked on them, this time around we decided to give Breaking Bad a go and yup, we are obsessed! We only started watching season one about a week ago and we have already completed that and are now half way through season 2, see I told you we are obsessed ha ha.

Hey beaut's!

So it's that time again... Non beauty favourites time!! I've really been enjoying sharing my non beauty favourites with you all, it's so nice to add something a little bit different to my blog each month and I personally think it's a great way for me to look back and see what I was loving non beauty wise throughout the year.

 Soooo... lets get down to business ha ha.....

Prison Break

I'm going through a phase at the moment where I'm re-watching loads of TV shows that I love season by season, last month I completed the entire 5 seasons of The Hills and this month it's been all about Prison Break! Man I love this show, every episode ends on a cliffhanger which makes me stay up super late as I literally cant turn it off not to mention Michael Scofeild and Sucre are very nice to watch if you get what I mean ha ha. I'm already half way through Season 4, which is the last season (sad face), so if you have any recommendations of what I could watch next do let me know he he.  

Flipz Pretzels

My food addiction this month is easily these yummy Flipz Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels, I used to be hooked on them when I was little and then all of a sudden they disappeared, but then a while ago when I visited my Mum we went into her local Tesco and to my absolute delight there is a whole American Food aisle, so now every time I go over my Mums I buy another bag ha ha, they are just soooo scrummy!

Summery Days & Gardening

Yayy, finally in May we have seen some gorgeous sunshine and warmer weather, and in Norfolk we had what they call a 'mini heatwave', so of course this made me very happy, it just felt so nice to get my sandals and summer dresses back out, and that feeling of not being cold is just great! The warmer weather had also meant that I've been pimping up my garden ha ha, in the summer I'm a garden girl and in the winter I'm a baking girl so  of course I went straight out and bought everything from, flowers to compost to solar lights and even wood chip ha ha, I'm so happy with how my little gardens looking now, the final result is totally worth the time and effort.

My Little Mermaid PJ's

Oh my goodness, I think these are literally the best pyjamas in the world. They where £8.00 from Primark and I literally squealed out loud in the shop when I saw them and they want straight in my basket. I haven't stopped wearing these since I got them, they're just so comfy, cute and Disney, what's not to love he he. 

Girly Night Out

This month I had a long overdue girls night out and it was lovely, 6 of us just went out for some yummy food, some drinks and of course lots of girly chats and it was soooo nice, I'm definitely going to make it a more of a regular thing from now on, it's nice to let your hair down from time to time isn't it! I just had to add this picture from that night of an extremely scrumptious dessert ( don't worry it was shared ha ha), you may have seen it on my Instagram but if not I've added it here just to make your mouth water he he, it's basically the most amazing dessert I've ever seen!!

April Non Beauty Favourites ♥

You may remember back at the end of January I added a new little monthly feature to my blog in the shape of non beauty favourites, I'm really enjoying the new little addition and will continue to keep doing these type of posts every month, I also think it's a great way for me to look back and see what I was loving non beauty wise throughout the year.

The Hills

I used to be addicted to The Hills way back when it started in 2006 and watched all the seasons without fail, I even watched the spin-off shows like The City and Audrina and recently I've become totally addicted once again. It started a few months back when I caught one of the episodes being randomly shown on MTV and then I decided I'd start watching The Hills all over again from season 1, I've literally been watching all the episodes back to back and I've just finished season 5 so Ive been making my way through them pretty quick ha ha. I also have the biggest girl crush on Lauren Conrad and all her Chanel handbags arrhhh!!                        

We ♥ It

I'm some what addicted to my little We ♥ it app on my phone, I could literally spend hours upon hours scrolling through all the pretty pictures and quotes. I guess you could say it's slightly like Pinterest but instead of pinning things and making boards you 'heart' the pictures you like and post them on your social media until your hearts content, never the less it's a cute little app that I love!

Frozen

Frozen is slightly taking over my life right now ha ha, I'm not even ashamed that I'm in my 20's and love it so much, who cares ha ha! Not only do I think the movie is super cute but  I'm addicted to the soundtrack too, and listen to it all the time, man are those songs catchy ha ha.

Lorde-Team

I do love abit of Lorde, I love how different her sound and style is and this song 'Team' in particular has been on repeat in my house throughout April. If you haven't heard it yet check out the video HERE.

Fresh Flowers

Now that Spring is finally upon us I have been going slightly gaga over having fresh flowers in my house at all times, I mean don't get me wrong I always love the look of flowers in my house but never do I usually have fresh flowers every week, well until now ha ha. They also come in handy when I take pictures for certain blog posts as they look all pretty in the background he he.

Non Beauty Favourites | March

Hey girlie's!!!

You may remember back at the end of January I added a new little monthly addition to my blog in the shape of non beauty favourites, I thought as it was a new year and all the jazz I'd add something new to my blog, I'm really enjoying the new little feature and I also think it's a great way for me to look back and see what I was loving non beauty wise throughout the year.
 Anyway lets get down to business ha ha.....

Spring

Firstly, this month I've been loving the first signs of spring. We've been getting some brighter, slightly warmer days in the UK recently and I love it. I'm always out walking my pooch Alfie so to see some of the tree's blossoming and the daffodils coming out in bloom is so pretty, it's also great not having to feel freezing cold all the time too.

Hollyoaks

I've always been a massive Hollyoaks fan and I watch it everyday without fail, but how amazing has it been this year.... The story lines have been incredible, so many twists and turns and the Spring 2014 trailer that got released 2 weeks ago looked amazing!!! If you haven't seen it already then you can watch it HERE. Who else is wanting Finn to finally get his comeuppance, and whats going to happen when Joe Rosco wakes up? Will Maxine finally be able to escape from horrible Patrick? Arhhh I cant cope ha ha!  

Bastille Bad Blood Album

I love the Bastille album, it's one of those albums that's so easy to listen to no matter where you are or what your doing, my favourite songs are Flaws, What Would You Do, Things We Lost In The Fire and Oblivion.

Frozen Soundtrack 

It's no secret I love abit of Disney, I mean who doesn't? This month I've been loving Frozen and the Frozen Soundtrack, it's just so catchy and super cute. Me and the girls at work have even been playing the soundtrack there ha ha, I love Let It Go and Do You Want To Build A Snowman he he, I seem to be singing it all the time, I even wake up with the songs stuck in my head. 

Cadburys Mini Eggs

Every Easter I'm the same, I get addicted to Creme Eggs first which was last month and then I move on to Mini Eggs and this month I've been going mini egg mad, it doesn't help that I practically work next to a Poundland store that sells the big bags for £1.00 and you cant just eat 1 or 2 oh no no no, you have to eat the whole bag! Ooopsie!! 

My Little Pony PJ's

If you read my recent Primark Haul you would have noticed I picked up these cute PJ's, I absolutely love them and find myself washing them constantly so I can just keep wearing them everyday ha ha, they are so soft and comfortable, and great to lounge around in too. They definitely have to be my favourite Primark purchase so far!

Beyonce

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I literally adore Beyonce, she is pretty much perfect isn't she? And this month I just haven't stopped listening to her latest album 'BEYONCE'. The 14 songs on the album are fabulous and extremely catchy, I also love the fact she made a music video for every song too, I have to say my favourite/most listened to songs on the album are Pretty Hurts, XO, Blue and Drunk In Love, what are yours beaut's?

Creme Eggs

I seriously have a unhealthy addiction to Creme Eggs. I'm the same every year, as soon as they hit the shops I'm there buying silly amounts ha ha, I buy them singly, in multi packs and even the miniature packs ha ha, just call me the crazy Creme Egg lady ha ha.

Pinterest

February has been the month that I've finally found my feet on Pinterest, and now I love it and its become rather addictive. I could literally spend hours looking through and pining all the gorgeous pictures of different varieties. Brit Awards 2014

Arhh I look forward to this every year, I love the Brits...  This years awards was so good and I thought most of the performers where good too, of course I loved Beyonce's performance but I also loved Katy Perry, Ellie Goulding, Bruno Mars and Bastille with Rudimental.

Non Beauty Favourites | January

Hey girlie's!!! 

I'm back with something slightly different today and something I've never actually done on my blog before and that's a NON beauty favourites post. As it's a new year and all that jazz, I thought I'd switch things up abit and add a new monthly feature to my blog, I hope you girlie's all like the idea. 

One Tree Hill

Arrhhh One Tree Hill is probably my favourite TV show ever!!! Even though series nine, which finished last year, was the last in the series it hasn't stopped me getting my box sets out and watching them alot recently. I love nothing more that getting into bed nice and early all snuggled up and having a One Tree Hill marathon, and January has certainly been the perfect month do just that!!!

Weekly Planner

I'd been after a weekly planner or organiser for ages, I just wanted to make sure 2014 was going to be an organised year for me in the blogging world, my Mum bless her, found a cute weekly planner and kindly bought it for me and I have to say girls, if you don't have one, you need one. It's helped me dramatically with my blogging schedule and to be honest I write everything and anything on there that I need to do or remember, it's brilliant!!!

Celebrity Big Brother

I have been obsessed with this years CBB, don't get me wrong I watch every single series no matter how good or bad it may be ha ha but wow... This years CBB has been a corker!!! The arguing has been hilarious, I've never wished so much for a couple as much as I do for Sam and Ollie and Lee Ryan from Blue has shown the nation he's an absolute rat!!! I was really routing for Dappy or Ollie to win but I'm still happy Jim took the crown... I bet Linda was furious ha ha.

Yankee Candles
I'm pretty sure if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will know I'm slightly addicted to Yankee Candles and this month has been no different, I got quite alot of candles for Christmas but that hasn't stopped me buying some more throughout January ha ha, I just cant resist he he. I literally burn Yankee Candles everyday in my house and at the moment I've been loving 'Beach Walk', It smells amazing and its rather refreshing after all the Christmas spicy scents. I really cant wait to start buying the spring/summer candles though, I particularly like the look of Bunny Cake, Summer Scoop and Sweet Pink.
