April Beauty Favourites!

Hey beaut's!

April has been a pretty good month to be fair, we kicked things off with Easter where I gorged on so much chocolate until I felt rather queasy, then recently we had some pretty epic weather, I'm talking a week of bright blue skies and temperatures in the mid-high 20's, yessss...although it's kind of ironic because as I'm typing this it's absolutely peeing it down but lets forget about that for now!
This month's favourites consists of a couple of oldies but goodies and one or two new products that I've fallen in love with! Firstly I've been reaching for my Makeup Geek eye shadows constantly this past month, the top three shades have been on my eyeballs everyday and create a stunning warm toned look. The first shade In The Spotlight goes in my inner corner, the second shade Cosmopolitan goes on my lid and the third shade Cocoa Bear has been warming up my crease, arhh I love these three shades together, I've actually reviewed and swatched all three hereNext up is my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in Light/Medium (wow that was a mouthful), not only does this bronzer smell good enough to eat because it smells just like milk chocolate, but it's completely matte and blends like an absolute dream! I'm not a huge fan of a shimmery bronzer so as soon as I got this beauty back in March and whacked it on my face I was obsessed, I'd highly recommend it if your after a good quality matte bronzer!
Sticking with Too Faced, I bought the Hangover Replenishing Face Primer after loving a sample of the stuff, this primer is perfect for me because it really hydrates, smooths, and brightens my skin creating the perfect base for my foundation, and it doesn't have that horrible silicone feeling like some primer's I've used has! I also picked the Tanya Burr Selfie Lash Mascara up around 3 weeks ago because Superdug had reduced it to just £3.99 so in true HaySparkle tradition it went straight in my basket! I'm so glad I finally bought it because it's actually a very good mascara, it's so buildable and once it's set it doesn't budge, flake, run or transfer all day. I always find Tanya's makeup very hit and miss but this is an absolute hit from me!
Revolution's Fast Base Stick Foundation is next on my list of favourites, this is so quick and easy to use because you simply draw it all over your face then blend in with a sponge or makeup brush, and because it's so creamy it blends like a dream and super quickly! The coverage is great too and although it's super duper dewy once it's set with a powder your good to go! Finally this month I've been obsessed with bright coral nails and my Barry M Coconut Infusion Nail Paint in Flamingo is perfect for that! It really makes my nails pop and the Coconut Infusion formula is one of my all time favourites, it's nice to know your nails are getting some benefits from wearing nail polish he he.

What have you been loving this month beaut's? I'd love to know!

Fashionably Late April Beauty Favourites

Hi beaut's!

It's monthly favourites time again....Yet another month has whizzed past in a blink of an eye, I know I say this most months but I actually cant believe how quick this year is going, I feel like it's going to be Autumn again before we know it, it's just craziness.
This month I've been reaching for my Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette LOADS, it's just the perfect palette for this time of the year and I love that fact that theres so many shades that I can just pop all over my lid, blend out and go, its so quick an easy to use. Another palette that has literally stolen my heart and changed my highlighting life is Sleeks Solstice Palette, oh my goodness it's the prettiest most intense highlighting palette I've ever used and leaves such a radiant glow and luminous polish to my skin. You definitely need to give this highlighting palette a whirl if you haven't already, it's the best £9.99 you'll spend trust me! The ever so popular Milani Luminoso Blush hasn't left my little cheekbones this past month either, it's so stunning and I can now see why theres always been so much hype surrounding this blusher, it's gorgeous!

For nails this month I've been loving iZ Beauty's pastel polishes in the shades Wild Sage, Wisteria Lane and Lily Romance, their the perfect spring colours and the quality of each polish is amazing! My final favourite this month had to be the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer, it's pretty much full coverage, once it's set it doesn't move or crease at all and it really brightens up my under eye area camouflaging my horrendous dark circles. It's amazing and I cant believe I've waiting so long to give a whirl!

What are your favourites at the moment beaut's?? I'd love to know

April Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!

Its that time again.... Monthly favourites time! I cant quite believe how quick April has whizzed past, I know I probably say that every month but it honestly scares me that the months go by so quickly! I don't have too many favourites this month mainly because a lot of them where the same as last month and I've only really switched a couple of products up this month, plus I was ill a few weeks back so putting makeup on was the least of my worries he he! Anywhoo onto the few things I've been loving this month beauty wise!

Firstly this month I have fallen completely in love with Barry M's new Coconut Infusion Nails Paints, they are made with a whole new formulation that blends together both coconut water and coconut oil to gently hydrate and nourish the nails, how awesome is that! I have three shades from the collection so far but my favourite and most worn is Aloha, it's a gorgeous a hot pink that wears beautifully, arhhh I love it so much!

Next is the stunning GWA (Girls With Attitude) Makeup Brushes, I actually won six of these a few months back on a Twitter giveaway and have been completely obsessed with them since I got them. Not only do they look gorgeous with their purple ombre bristles, rose gold accents and wooden handles but the quality is amazing too, I definitely want to grow my collection of these.

I've been loving theBalm's Mary Lou Manizer and it fast became a must in my everyday makeup routine, it's just absolutely stunning and packs an all mighty highlighted punch, I honestly think people on space could see the glow from my cheekbones when I'm wearing this baby ha ha!

For concealer it's been all about Rimmel's Match Perfection for me, the formula is just amazing, it's so lightweight, great coverage, long lasting and doesn't crease under my eye area at all, I cant believe I waiting so long to try it!

For blush and bronzer this month I've been reaching for my Benefit Hoola and Rockateur from my Real Cheeky Party Blushing Beauty Kit that I got last Christmas, Hoola is such a great bronzer to bronze and contour with on my skin tone and Rockateur is the most beautiful deep dusky rose blusher. I forgot how much I actually loved this palette, it literally sees me through all the seasons too!

You may be shocked at my brow favourite this month, it isn't my holy grail HD Brows Kit.... SAY WHATTTT! I decided to buy Freedom Makeup's Duo Brow Powder in Taupe recently because my HD Brows Kit is coming to an end and I hear such good things about Freedom Makeup brow products as they are supposed to be good dupes of Anastasia Beverly Hills. After giving this brow duo a whirl over the last few weeks I'm so impressed, it works amazingly and blends with my brow hairs so naturally and Freedoms shade range is literally on point, theres so many to choose from and Taupe matched up to me so well! Best of these little duo's are only £3.00 each, beauty bargain alert!

My last favourite this month is my trusty Vichy Idealia Eyes Cream! This is such a good eye cream, when I use it I notice the skin around my eyes is silky smooth and more plump which makes my eye makeup sit more comfortably and most importantly theres no concealer creasing which is just brill... My dark circles also appear reduced as the illuminators within the cream instantly make my eyes appear more awake and fresh in the mornings, it's really moisturising too! I'd highly recommend this if your looking for an amazing eye cream!

April Beauty Favourites ♥

Hey beaut's!!!

I cant quite believe its that time again.... Monthly favourites time!!! I know we all say this every month but honestly I cant believe how quick the months are going, its crazy... At least it's not so dull now that we are in the middle of Spring, I'm absolutely loving the sunshine, warmer days and pretty flowers at the moment, it lovely!!! Anywhoo today I thought I would share with you all the makeup and beauty products I've been loving throughout April, so here goes....

Tanya Burr Lip Glosses
Arrrhhh I've been wearing these lip glosses everyday since I got them, they are just so pretty and have amazing quality. What impresses me the most by the lovely Tanya Burr's glosses is the gorgeous formula, it unlike any formula that I've tried from a gloss before, it's ultra glossy, super moisturising and best of all non sticky. You can find my full review with lots of pictures and me wearing each shade HERE.

Avene Skincare Samples
At the beginning of April I found a website that allows you to 'try before you buy' on certain high end skincare brands, all you had to do was pick 5 (free) samples and pay the £3.25 delivery fee, theres no subscription or catch so I quickly added 5 Avene goodies into my basket and checked out ha ha, I do have a whole post dedicated to this which you can take a look at HERE. I have actually used most of my little samples up now and I have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed using them all and can now safely purchase some Avene skincare products without worrying that I'm wasting my money on something I may not like. Out of all my samples I particularly liked the Gentle Purifying Scrub and the Soothing Hydrating Cream. Look out for an updated post on how I got on with all the products I picked up beaut's.

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine 'Dragon Fruit' Nail Paint + Barry M Limited Edition 'Birthday' Nail Paint
My favourite nail polish this month has to be 'Dragon Fruit' from Barry M's Gelly Hi-Shine range. I found the little beauty hidden away in my nail polish collection from last year and once I whacked it back on my nails I fell in love with it all over again, its just so perfect and pretty for spring time wear. I also couldn't resist adding the new limited edition 'Birthday' nail paint to my April favourites, even though the polish has only been out a few weeks I love it so much already that it thoroughly deserves a spot on my favourite this month, it looks fab on its own across all my nails, it's lovely on toes and can be used as an accent nail colour too, it's such a gorgeous versatile polish.

Benefit Stay Don't Stray in Light/Medium
Me and primers never usually get on as I suffer from oily eyelids and I find primers usually make them worse however...  Ever since I received this little sample of Benefit's Stay Don't Stray in a Birchbox a few months back my eyelids have calmed down so much, its fab. Benefit's Stay Don't Stray is a stay-put primer for concealers and eye shadows, so if you have problems with your concealer creasing under your eyes or creasing eyeshadow, this could be the primer for you girls. It just completely smooths out and neutralises my eyelids ready for my eyeshadow and I find my eyeshadow stays put all day, doesn't crease, blends out easier and the colour pay off is much better once I've used this primer, I cant recommend it enough.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves Mascara
I don't really want to go into too much detail about this mascara in this particular post as I have a full review for you beaut's coming soon but there's no way I could miss out Rimmel's Rockin' Curves in my April Favourites as I've been obsessed with this mascara since the beginning of March when I bought it. I cant believe how much curve and volume its gives my lashes, its amazing!

Sleek Face Form Contouring & Blush Palette in Light
The Sleek Face Form kit is always making its way into my favourites because I just use it and love it so much, especially at this time of the year. Just recently I've been loving the Spring trend of wearing a wash of highlighter over my lids and then using my contour shade to blend and define my crease, its such a beautiful, easy to achieve look and it's great knowing that the makeup I'm wearing is bang on trend he he. Ive not only been loving  my contour kit for my eyes but I've been using it constantly to sculpt and highlight my face as well as using the gorgeous coral/rose gold blush which again looks fabulous on the cheeks for spring/summer.

What have been your favourite beauty products to use throughout April beaut's??? I'd love to know!!!
