Hey beaut's!
I have a subscription box review for you all today but it's a subscription box with a difference.... it contains yummy food and drink, so say hello to Degustabox*. Degustabox works very much like how beauty subscription boxes work, for £12.99 a month (postage included within the £12.99 price) you will receive 9 to 14 surprise food/drink products, many that are completely new to the market! So if your a bit of a foodie like myself and you love subscription boxes your going to love this beaut's! Anywhooo onto what yummy treats I received in my October Degustabox, any keep reading until the end for a great discount code...
9BAR £2.49
Firstly this month we have 9Bars, these are great to throw into your lunch box or can be popped into your handbag for when you want a snack on the go but you want to be slightly healthier. The original carob hit version is packed full of super seeds such as sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and hemp seeds which together will give you that added energy boost that you might need.
Ciro Passata and Chopped Tomato's £2.25
Next we have a bottle of Ciro Pasatta and a tin of Chopped Tomato's, both are perfect for creating pasta sauces or being a base for chilli's and spaghetti bolognese sauces all of which get eaten a lot in our house so these wont last long.
Nudie Snacks x 2 £1.29 each
Nudie's Snacks are toasted coconut chips that are made from 100% natural ingredients and are said to be a great alternative to crisps. I must admit these do sound interesting and they now come in two all new flavours, Salt and Vinegar and Thai Sweet Chili, I cant wait to give them a go and see what they are like.
Kabuto Noodles £1.99
I've actually received some Kabuto Noodles in a Degustbox before and if I remember rightly they where super tasty, the noodles are basically like pot noodles on steroids ha ha, they are healthier, tastier and of course very convenient to just throw into your bag for work.
Chip Strips x2 £2.00 each
These Chip Strips sound amazing and I have a feeling they might be slightly like Pringles which I love but are just differently shaped, mmm yummy!
Lorina Coconut Lime £1.49
Lorina is a premium french lemonade that uses 100% natural ingredients and is free from any artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, the coconut and lime flavour I received sounds really refreshing and I cant wait to try it.
Geeta's Chutney and Curry Paste £3.10
Next up is couple of goodies from Geeta's, firstly theres the Korma Curry Paste which I must admit I probably wont use because I like a nice spicy curry and a Korma just wont cut it for me and secondly theres a Lime and Chili Chutney which is said to have a rather fiery kick to it which I think will be perfect for dipping.
The Snack Organisation Freeze Dried Fruit £1.00
The first of two things from The Snack Organisation is this bag of Freeze Dried Apricot, this can be used to snack on or you can sprinkle it on top of yoghurt's, ice cream or cakes and is actually 1 of your 5 a day.
The Snack Organisation Rice Crackers £1.00
The second yummy treat from The Snack Organisation are these lightly salted rice crackers, these are great or dipping when you have people round for a movie night and you could even use the Geeta's Chutney from before as I bet they taste great together.
Liberation Foods £2.00
If your nuts about nuts then this bag of oven baked salted cashews and peanuts will be right up your street, again these are great to pop into a little bowl to snack on whilst watching a movie or your favourite TV show.
President Voucher £2.00
Lastly this month Degustabox have given use a President Unsalted Butter voucher worth £2.00 which will come in handy when I do some baking next that's for sure.
Overall I love Degustabox, I think it's such a great take on a subscription box, I love the whole element of a food surprise and getting excited about what meals or cakes I can whip together, it's fab! You can find Degustabox on Twitter and Facebook for more information, pictures and promotions.
Degustabox have kindly given me a NEW discount code for all of my beautiful readers, all you have to do is pop BLDEG15 into the promotional code box and you'll receive a whopping £6.00 discount when registering. And don't worry beaut's, theres no commitments with Degustabox meaning you can cancel your subscription free of charge before the 10th of any month, but I mean why would you cancel monthly surprise treats ha ha!
What do you think of the Degustabox concept beaut's?? I'd love to know your thoughts.
This looks like an awesome box! I've never seen a subscription box with food, that's pretty neat.
