Miners Cosmetics NEW Strawberry Tin o 'Tint | Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Recently the lovelies over at Miners Cosmetics, very kindly sent me one of their NEW Strawberry flavoured Tin o'Tint lip balms to try so I just had to share my thoughts with you all. I'm already a huge fan of Miners Cosmetics Tin o'Tint lip balms, Cherry being one of my absolute favourites but if you haven't heard of them before they are specially designed lip balms which tint 'n' care at the same time. The award winning range is made up of 7 delicious shades, Cherry, Watermelon, Vanilla, Pink Grapefruit, Cocoa Bean, Mango and the brand new Strawberry edition, all of which have an added moisturising formulation, claiming our lips will be left feeling soft and smooth with a hint of gorgeous colour, sounds great to me and perfect to have in my handbag on the go.
The very first thing that caught my eye about the Strawberry Tin o 'Tint was just how cute the packaging is, it is quite youthful looking but I love it, it's one of those balms that when you get it out of your bag to use your friend is like 'Ohh whats that? That looks lovely', it's very eye catching indeed. The generous 12g of product is placed inside a nice sturdy tin with a secure pull off lid which is very reminiscent to the Vaseline tins although Miners offering is slightly bigger and taller. The formula of the Tin o 'Tint balm is quite hard in the pan, certainly alot harder than a Vaseline balm and I find you need to work your finger on the surface of the balm to 'warm it up' slightly before it's easy to apply onto the lips. Once on the lips it is slightly sticky but has that smooth feeling at the same time, it's not an unbearably sticky where your hair gets stuck to your lips but I do notice that it has that tacky feeling to it. The pigmentation of the balm is rather impressive, it's a gorgeous classic red shade to swatch and on the lips it creates a light red sheen and certainly makes my lips look more plush ha ha. The smell of the balm is seriously yummy, it smells just like a punnet of Strawberry's it's so scrumptious, as for lasting power... I can definitely feel the balm on my lips for a good hour or so but can feel the moisturising benefits for a good couple of hours after which is nice.
Overall I think the NEW Strawberry Tin o 'Tints is great, and perfect to just chuck in your handbag for on the go or if your going for a more natural makeup look the Tin o 'Tint works well. I just love the fact that they give your lips that dose of moister and add a pretty, glossy tint all at the same time and the scent is literally insane, I love it!

You can buy the Tin o 'Tint collection from the Miners Cosmetics website for an impressive £2.99 each.

Have you tried any of the Tin o 'Tints?? What flavours do you have?? I'd love to know.

Throughout the tour Miners Cosmetics will be running lots of incredible competitions on their Twitter and Facebook pages, with prizes including exclusive Limited Edition NVS Tin o 'Tins signed by the band and even tickets to the gigs so make sure you check those out beaut's!

The Tin o' Tint tinted lip balm's by Miners Cosmetics are specially designed to tint 'n' care. The award winning range is made up of 6 delicious shades, Cherry, Watermelon, Vanilla, Pink Grapefruit, Cocoa Bean and Mango, all of which have an added moisturising formulation, claiming our lips will be left feeling soft and smooth with a hint of gorgeous colour, sounds great to me and perfect to have in my handbag on the go.

Spring/Summer 2014 with Miners Cosmetics!

Hey girlie's!!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you some top Spring/Summer makeup picks by Miners Cosmetics! Miners Cosmetics is a sophisticated yet feminine makeup brand aimed at girls and women who love cosmetics and like to experiment with the latest looks and trends. Miners Cosmetics product portfolio ranges from show stopping Eye shadows, Pencils and Liquid Liners to mouth watering Lip Colour, Glosses and the award winning Tin o’ Tint, not forgetting Nail Colours that are available in an array of trend inspired shades, so there's certainly something all of us makeup and beauty lovers would enjoy!

This Spring/Summer Miners Cosmetics have teamed up with Hayley Sparkes, a top beauty expert and guru who makes regular appearances on ITV's This Morning, as Hayley is now the brands ambassador she has handpicked some of her makeup loves for Spring/Summer and I'll be sharing my thoughts on them for you today!

Fresh Faced Powder in Soft Sand* £3.99
This season is all about creating a fresh faced look which doesn't mask your natural skin tone and what better way to achieve that is by using Miners Cosmetics paraben free 'Fresh Faced Powder'. The Fresh Faced Powder is available in 3 shades and claims to be completely matte and can be used to create a natural base on its own or used as a setting powder over foundation. I have to say after using this powder both ways I'm really impressed, it's completely matte like the claim suggests an does an excellent job at eliminating shine and keeps those oily areas under control  it also evens out the skin tone nicely, I don't find it cakey at all and when used on its own it has great coverage, it wont cover every blemish but it does an amazing job.

Maxi Waterproof Mascara* £3.49

Whether your swimming, sunbathing or just abit hot and sticky in the heat a waterproof mascara is essential in the summer, I mean no one wants to look like a panda ha ha! Even of I am on holiday I do always like a wear a good waterproof mascara throughout the day as I have quite small eyes so I find mascaras really do help open then up and look bigger, I must admit this mascara didn't give me as much oomph as I'd like from a maxi mascara but the staying power really does stand out, I had the mascara on my lashes all day long and it never budged, transferred, smudged or flaked and even after my evening shower it was still in place, don't panic though, it is easily removed with a micellar water or cleanser he he. Overall I think it's a fab little mascara for your holiday's, it will certainly stay in place.

Matte Effect Lipstick in Wonderland* £3.99
The quickest and easiest way to be on trend with your makeup during spring/summer 2014 is by rocking a matte coral or Orange lipstick, this gorgeous shade 'Wonderland' is packed full of pigment and even though its matte I find it surprisingly creamy upon application and doesn't drag on the lips at all. As for lasting power... This baby stayed put for around 3-4 hours and that with me eating and drinking which I think is great for such an affordable lipstick. Overall I love this beauty and I think the colour is absolutely beautiful.

Nail Colour in Jezebel* £2.99
I absolutely love this nail polish, the hot pink colour is gorgeous and perfect for the summer, the formula reminds me very much of the Barry M Nail Paints so if you like them you'll love Miners Cosmetics offering! I found 2 thin coats gave me a nice opaque and rather glossy finish and the lasting power was also quite impressive, I started getting the odd chip on the 4th day of wear.

And there you have it... My thoughts on Hayley Sparkes for Miners Cosmetics top Spring/Summer picks. Overall I have to say these product have amazing quality for such an affordable prices and will definitely get you through the trends without breaking the bank. I don't think I can actually choose 1 product of out the 4 that I tried that I really disliked, the only thing I would change is that I'd love the mascara to give me some more volume and length but that's just personal preference.

Have you tried any of these makeup products from Miners Cosmetics?? What did you think??

February Glossybox Review | Valentines Edition

Hey girlie's!!!

So its that time again... Glossybox time!!! It's fair to say last months box was pretty pants, I'm sure I'm not alone on that one, but this month Glossybox have won me over again!!! I love the Valentines theme this month and I have to say the limited edition box is gorgeous and the contents inside isn't half bad either, its nice to finally see some full size products in there.

So lets see the little treasures I received inside my February Glossybox...

Maybelline New York Master Kajal Liner in Pitch Black £5.99
I cant wait to try this, I always eye this up in Superdrug or Boots but never splurge and buy it as I've heard mixed reviews, but finally I can give it a whirl. I always use kohl liners anyway so I'm interested to see how different a cream stick liner is in comparison to my other kohl liners.

Ciate London Paint Pot in Red Hot Chili £9.00
I love Ciate nail polishes and their amazing quality so I'm super happy to be able to add another one to my nail polish collection. I received the shade 'Red Hot Chili' which I'd describe as a fiery red-orange shade, I can see it being great for summer time wear and looking pretty eye catching on the nails.

Miners Cosmetics Cocktail Kiss in Manhattan £2.99
I've never road tested anything from Miners Cosmetics before so I was eager to test this little lip gloss out however, after opening the gloss up and swatching it on the back of my hand I can tell I wont like it at all, its just so super sticky, it honestly felt like thick, gloopy glue and it had lots of glittery particles within the gloss too which I'm not a fan of either.

Nougat London Sparkling Body Shimmer in Cherry Blossom £14.00
Not only does this look super pretty in the packaging but it looks gorgeous on the skin too. I must admit when I opened up my Glossybox to see a big pot of body shimmer I immediately thought 'disco ball' but too my surprise it just adds a nice amount of radiance that isn't overly glittery or shimmery at all, it smells incredible too. This is definitely something I'd wear on a night out or on holiday with a nice tan.

Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Stick It Up Gum £7.20
As happy as I am about receiving this little Tony & Guy gem I'm slightly confused as to how I'll use it , the name 'Stick It Up Gum' to me suggests that this product is more for shorter hair styles, it does say its great for creating texture so I'll give it a whirl and see what I think but I don't think this will do much for my long mane ha ha.

Lindt Lindor Treat Bar
Lastly, we have a little extra in the form of some scrumptious chocolate, yum!!! You really cant complain with that can you?

Overall I'm super impressed with the contents of this months box and its theme. I love the fact we got 4 full size products as well as a decent size sample of the Nougat London Body Shimmer and then the little chocolate extra as well, Glossybox really have spoilt us this month and hopefully it will continue he he.

What did you think of this month's valentines box beaut's?? I'd love to know.
