My Top 5 Cream Blushers

Hey beaut's!

You may have seen over the last couple of weeks that I've started a new little blog series named My Top 5, last time I shared my top 5 concealers and my top 5 brow products, but  today I thought I'd share with you all my top 5 beloved cream blushers. I love cream blush, more so in the spring and summer because it just looks so dewy and healthy and with that in mind it made me dig out my favourites and share them with you all.
Barry M Make Me Blush Cream Blusher in Rhubarb Crumble
Barry M's Make Me Blush Cream Blusher in Rhubarb Crumble is one of my all time favourites, its a pretty, light pink shade which is ideal for creating that everyday rosy glow and generally goes with most of my makeup looks. The formula of Barry M's offering is gorgeous, it's infused with a fruity vitamin E punch, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter which makes the blush a dream to work with, it literally glides on so creamy giving a beautifully even coverage and blends out an absolute dream with either the warmth of your fingers or with a brush.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Blusher in Onamatopeacha
Next up we have Soap & Glory's Sexy Mother Blusher in Onamatopeacha (wowza what a mouthful), this is one of my staple blushes for the Summer months. Onamatopeacha is a coral, orange shade that is infused with a subtle golden sheen that runs through it, and fear not it isn't at all glittery or disco ball-esq, woohoo. The formula is lovely and creamy and blends out effortlessly with a stippling brush or my fingers, and as I said before I love to rock Onamatopeacha mostly during the summer months because it's just so summery and compliments a tan beautifully and just adds a healthy flush to the cheeks.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink
Max Factor's Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink is my holy grail cream blusher that I've actually repurchased twice. Much like Barry M's cream blush above Max Factor's Soft Pink is the perfect shade for everyday use and creates a gorgeous rosy glow to the cheeks and generally goes with most of my makeup looks. What I love about this cream blush in particular is that it's a multi purpose product, it's creamy enough to use on the lips as well as the cheeks and lasts a super long time. Arhhh I love this little beauty!

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in CALIFORN.I.A
I love this Sleek Blush Palette, it's just absolutely stunning and well loved by me! Now I know I'm cheating slightly here because this is my top 5 and this palette contains 3 cream blushers but theres no way I could miss this little beauty out. The three shades within the Sleek CALIFORN.I.A Palette are perfect for that healthy, sun kissed , holiday look and I'll certainly be popping this back into my makeup bag once Spring/Summer comes around, I've listed the shade rundown below...
♥ OC- A pinky toned coral with an ever so slight luminous look to it and has a slight lustre finish.
♥ The Surf- A pale golden peach with lots of minute golden shimmers running through it. This shade works beautifully as a highlight shade, especially if your rocking a summer tan and has a luminous finish, it's so pretty and delicate.
♥ Newport Peach- This is my favourite shade within the palette and can be rocked all year round in my opinion, it's a coral shade with a bit more depth to it than the other two shades in the palette, I wouldn't say this shade isn't as luminous as the other two but it still looks beautifully dewy and fresh on the cheeks.

Benefit Lip and Cheek Tint in Posie Tint
Lastly I have Benefit's Posietint, I've actually had this deluxe sample for so long and it literally never seems to run out on me. Posietint is a lovely soft muted baby pink shade with a medium-thick liquid stain texture, because this is a stain the lasting power is out of this world and you can literally build it up on your cheeks and lips until your heart desires without it feeling heavy or powdery on the skin, it literally just feels like skin once it's dried and blended and wont budge no matter how much you touch or rub it. So beaut's, if you want a blush that lasts ALL day without budging at all Posietint is the one for you.

What's your favourite cream blusher beaut's? I'd love to know!

NEW! Makeup Revolution All About Pink Blush Palette ♥

Hey beaut's!

Our lovely friends over at Makeup Revolution have another new release for us all... Yup they are the Kings and Queens of new launches aren't they he he. This time around Makeup Revolution have launched another blush palette called 'All About Pink', this follows the huge success of the Sugar & Spice, Hot Spice and newly launched Golden Sugar Blush Palettes, which I have to just add are all absolutely stunning palettes indeed.

The Makeup Revolution 'All About Pink' Palette* (£6.00) comes packaged in the usual sleek, black casing with a lovely large compact mirror inside the pull up lid which is always appreciated. The palette itself contains 8 large panned blushes with a mixture of shimmer and matte finishes perfect for creating that pinky flush, there's also a 2 shades within the palette that I think would work beautifully as highlighting powders too.
The shade range in the 'All About Pink' Palette is definitely for the girlie girls out there who are lovers of all things pink, at first glance the shades made me think of the movie Mean Girls, the 'On Wednesday We Wear Pink' quote just came to mind he he, so now I personally call this palette my Mean Girls palette ha ha. Honestly though, there's such a lovely selection of different toned pinks to choose from that would work well for different occasions, looks and even nights out too, I just love the versatility!
I've found that each pan of blush within the palette has great pigmentation and be warned a little goes a very long way with these, they also feel extremely soft to swatch making the blushes a dream to work with and they blend out beautifully. As for lasting power... their great! I've found after a good 6-8 hours I could use a little top up which I think is absolutely fine considering how affordable the palette is, I also love the fact that when the blushes do start to fade they fade evenly and don't go patchy or blotchy at all because I hate that.

Overall its another Makeup Revolution success! These Blush palettes are just great and really allow you to build your makeup collection up without having lots of single compacts laying around, they're also great for travelling as they allow you lots of choice in one single compact. All in all the 'All About Pink' palette is an absolute beaut and as always it's an amazing bargain to at just £6.00... Yup you did read that correctly, £6.00 for 8 pans of blush, that's just 75p each, you really cant get any better than that can you.

What's been your favourite Makeup Revolution new release recently beaut's?? I'd love to know.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush & Contour Palette in Sugar and Spice ♥

 Hey beaut's!

You may remember that a few weeks ago on the 13th June Makeup Revolution released some gorgeous new makeup, I do have a blog post on some of the new releases that you can have a cheeky look at HERE if you like beaut's. It's fair to say that the new releases have been pretty impressive and are certainly well loved by myself, so today I thought I'd share my full thoughts on the Ultra Blush & Contour Palette in Sugar and Spice*.

Makeup Revolution have released two Ultra Blush & Contour Palettes for us to feast our eyes on, Sugar and Spice (pictured above) which is more of a pinky toned palette and Hot Spice which is alot warmer. Like I said before the Blush & Contour Palette that I have is in Sugar and Spice and comes packaged in sleek black casing with a lovely large mirror inside the pull up lid. The palette itself contains 8 large panned blushes with a mixture of shimmer and matte finishes, there's also a merged baked blusher and a merged baked highlighting powder too. The shade range in the Ultra Blush & Contour Palette is great if your a lover of all things pink as there's such a selection of differant toned pinks to choose from, however the first two shades on the top row do lean more towards warmer, bronze/peachy tones which would be ideal to warm up your complexion all year round. The merged highlighter within the palette is a bright silver-lilac shade which contains very fine flecks of silver shimmer, at first I thought it would be a very un-natural highlighting shade but actually when blended it looks super pretty and gives off a nice sheen. The merged blush has a raspberry tone too it with a metallic finish, I also noticed in certain lights that it contains minute glitters too but these aren't hugely noticeable and wont have you looking like a disco ball ha ha.
I've found that each pan of blush within the palette has great pigmentation so be warned a little goes a very long way with these, they also feel extremely soft to swatch making the blushes a dream to work with and blend out beautifuly. As for lasting power... their great! I've found after a good 6-8 hours I could use a little top up which I think is absolutely fine considering how affordable the palette is, I also love the fact that when the blushes do start to fade they fade evenly and don't go patchy or blotchy at all because I hate that.

Yet again I'm highly impressed by Makeup Revolution, is there anything they cant do he he!
I mean it's such a stunning palette and I honestly havent put it away since I got it. If I had to be picky I would say that the two warmer shades within the palette aren't actually warm enough for me to contour with but that aside if you have a paler complexion those shades would probably work well as contour shades. Overall the palette is an absolute beaut and is also a pretty amazing bargain at just £6.00... Yup you did read that correctly, £6.00 for 8 pans of blush, that's just 75p each, you really cant get any better than that can you.

What do you think of the Blush & Contour Palettes beaut's?? I'd love to know.

My Blush Collection

I thought i would take some time today and share my blush collection, although i only have a small collection i find it gets me through all seasons no problem, some are more expensive than others but i find it doesn't matter how expensive or cheap a product can be if you like it and if it works for you then great, lucky for me every blush i own i love.

From left to right

♥ Sleek Pixie Pink- This is my all time favourite blush, its great for the day or night and all throughout the year, its extremely pigmented so u need a light hand when using it, the packaging is really sturdy and well made with a handy mirror inside and at £4.49 you cant go wrong.

♥ Wet'N'Wild Glowing Pink- I got this on a whim from a discount store for only £2.00 and i must admit it was the price that sold it to me, i love anything cheap and cheerful. As it was a bargain i wasn't expected much but I'm so pleased i picked it up now, the pigmentation is great it gives you a real healthy radiant glow it does have a tiny bit of shimmer to it but i love that about it, its definitely more of a spring/summer blush.

♥ MUA Shade 1- This is my favourite colour of the MUA blushers, its quite a bright pink with a slight shimmer to it but nothing major, the pigmentation is OK and lasting power isn't that great but for a bargain £1 u cant complain really, i have hit pan on this as i do use it often but u find yourself topping it up all day as it wears off quick.

♥MUA Shade 2- This dusky pink shade is lovely to give you that flush of colour but the same applies to this as shade 1, its has a slight shimmer to it, pigmentation is OK and lasting power isn't that great but for £1 it does the job. Word of warning these MUA blushers are quite soft so shatter easy.

Estee Lauder Nude Rose- I love this blush for the summer its a peachy colour with a hint of rosiness and looks amazing when u have a tan, its not extremely pigmented but really nice to build up as it had a  nice a smooth texture, staying power is great too i never have to top it up at all. Not too sure on the price as i got this a few years ago id say around the £20 mark also i think they have since revamped the packaging.

♥ Natural Collection Pink Cloud- This is a very nice natural everyday shade, pigmentation is OK and lasting power is about 6 hours before you need to touch up, i love this if I'm going really neutral and just want an ever so slight pop of pink to my cheeks, a nice cheap and cheerful price of £1.99 and only available in boots.

♥ Bare Minerals Luxury- I got this blush as part of a gift set a few christmas' ago and love it for spring summer, its a warm coral colour that u can build up really easily, and feels really nice on the skin., the price of these blushers is around £14.75 which is alot for a blush but as its amazing quality i cant grumble really.
