Yankee Candle Vanilla Bourbon Tart Review ♥

Hey beaut's!

Today I'm back with another Yankee Candle review for you all, it was my birthday recently and my friend Kate from Kate's Closet kindly bought me some presents, two of which where Yankee Candle Tarts, one in Vanilla Bourbon which I'll be reviewing today and the other was Pineapple Cilantro, shes knows me so well he he.

Vanilla Bourbon is one of the new Yankee Candle scents released for the Autumn this year and is described as a 'traditional warm-me-up on a cold winter's day. A mug full of something steaming topped with a layer of thick vanilla cream and laced with a dash of strong bourbon', and I have to say it smells as good as it sounds, its divine. The scent of Vanilla Bourbon itself once it gets going in the tart warmer is very creamy and mocha like, think of the scent you get when you order a mocha in Starbucks or Costa and add the sweetness of vanilla and caramel to it with the ever so slight dash of bourbon which adds a bit of spice and that's exactly what Vanilla Bourbon smells like. It such a homely scent too and I definitely agree with the 'warm-me-up' claim in the description, I feel like this scent is perfect for burn when it's really cold and miserable outside and you just want to feel all snug and cosy, it really is a gorgeous scent. In terms of strength and how much scent Vanilla Bourbon throws out I'd say it's a medium to high, it's not over powering but it's definitely noticeable and fills the house within minutes of it melting within the warmer. Vanilla Bourbon is most definitely a hit with me and I'll be repurchasing it over the Autumn season that's for sure, if you like anything warming with hints of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and spicy bourbon then your going to love Vanilla Bourbon!

All the Yankee Candle wax tart melts claim to provides up to 8 hours of fragrance but personally I find they last sooooo much longer, I can literally have the wax tarts burning in my tart burner for weeks and they still fragrance the entire house which is amazing and such great value for money considering they only set you back £1.49 each.

Have you tried the new Vanilla Bourbon scent beaut's?? What did you think?? I'd love to know!!

Mini Lush Haul ♥

Hey beaut's!

The other day me and my boyfriend went into Norwich to hit the shops so of course I had to pop into Lush. I already knew I wanted to pick up a few bubble bars or bath bombs because it's coming up to that time of year where I love a long, hot relaxing bath instead of a quick shower, and I was literally so excited to see that some of the new products that have previously only been available in the Lush Oxford Street store are now being rolled out into most Lush stores woohoo. Anywhooo onto what I bought....

NEW | The Experimenter Bath Bomb £3.95
The first thing I saw when I walked into Lush was The Experimenter Bath Bomb, their where baskets filled with it everywhere, demonstrations going on and two members of staff said I just had to try it so I bought one to try. To look at The Experimenter is pretty spectacular, the hexagon shape has bright colours splashed all over it and when I saw the demonstration in the shop it looks amazing, just like a rainbow of shimmering colours in the water, it was so pretty. The scent of The Experimenter is very creamy and smells strongly of vanilla but also has a warm woody scent to it to which will be perfect for those Autumnal evenings.

The Pink Flamingo Reusable Bubble Bar is one of the Lush new releases that I'm most excited to try, I mean just look how cute the little flamingo is, aaawwww. The Pink Flamingo's scent is inspired by summer cocktails and contains fragrant rosewood and sexy ylang ylang. To me this little flamingo smells very new, meaning it's not like any other scent I've found or tried in Lush before, it has an orange sherbet fragrance with a slight sugary sweetness to it too, the combination works well and it's fair to say it smells lovely. I love the fact this bubble bar comes on a stick too because they just last so much longer that way and you get so much more for your money, I literally cant wait to use this little cutie now.

NEW Formula | Rose Jam Bubbleroon £3.75

Lush have recently reformulated some of their products and the Rose Jam Bubbleroon is one of them, I think it used to be a lot smaller and more baby pink in colour before but now it's quite a decent size, bright pink and has some pretty sparkles on the top of it which I love.  As you'd expect the Rose Jame Bubbleroon contains Rose oil and rose absolute which give a double dose of rosiness and the lemon oil is said to add a slight kick and really helps perk you up, it also contains coconut oil and Shea butter so I expect my skin will be silky smooth and moisturised after using this little beauty.

Creamy Candy is an all time favourite of mine that I've been repurchasing over and over for years so I thought I was due another, I just love the sweet candy floss scent teamed with the moisturising almond and cocoa butter, it so lovely. Just like the Rose Jam Bubbleroon, Creamy Candy has a new formula and I cant wait to try it to see if theres much differece, the only difference I can see by looking at it is that it's slightly bigger than usual and has a more intense, bright pink colour to it.

Have you picked any of the new Lush products up?? What's been your favourite so far?? I'd love to know beaut's!
